Chapter 1

Keiichi woke up at his window seat on the plane . He noticed Rena was asleep still on resting on his shoulders . He took a breath " getting away from hinamizawa Rika said would be good for us " he thought as the plane landed . He carried Rena off of the plane with their backpacks . He placed her near a sign while grabbing their suitcases. He then picked her up while carrying her to the cab . He placed thier bags in the trunk and had the cab stopped at someone or something being in trouble . He grabbed Rena backpack and found an axe and had a shocked look . " how did Rena carry this on the plane " he thought swinging it at the weird creature as armor came on him and he noticed a sword in his hands . He slashed the troll leaving a scar on one of its eyes as it fled .

He noticed Rena hugged him " So cute " he heard her say realizing she slept walked from the cab since she called him Rika . He left the armor and got back in the cab as they arrived at the house they would be staying at . He carried her inside with the bags and screamed at seeing eyes in the dark kitchen . He then noticed they were trolls. " what's going on and why are you here " he said transforming into the armor .

Blinky looked at Keiichi as did Arrgghh and pointed to the amulet . " you are the troll hunter and me and Arrgghh we're tasked with finding the one who obtained the amulet . He then heard a knock on the door . He noticed Rena was awake and pointed an axe at his throat . He gulped as Keiichi answered the door and saw it was a letter from someone . He noticed Keiichi tapped the letter on her head and she took it and headed upstairs .

Keiichi crossed his arms and took a breath " I get it but let us get settled here in arcadia oaks and you only introduced your friend " he said seeing someone staring in the window . He opened the window and the kid fell in . " who are you " he asked . He noticed the kid dropped his glasses and his school id . He picked up the Id . " nice to meet you eli pepperjack " he said . He noticed the kid offered to help them unpack since they were neighbors as did blinky and Arrgghh .

Rena came downstairs at the smell of some curry being made . She noticed Eli was doing the cooking and noticed the two trolls at the table . She looked to Keiichi and scratched her face " next door neighbor " She as Keiichi drank some tea . She took a seat as Eli placed the bowls of curry on the table . She took a bite and smiled " it's delicious but could use more spices " She said as Eli nodded taking a seat at the table .

Blinky took a bite of the curry " this is interesting and My name is blinky , Master Keiichi " he said and looked to Rena . " Do all humans carry around an axe " he asked . He noticed Keiichi and Rena avoided the questionn . He saw Eli write a question on a napkin and looked at it . " So what brings you to arcadia oaks " he asked .

Keiichi moved the spoon around his curry " A friend thought it would be good for us to come here " he said and looked to Rena . He smiled as She handed him the letter . He looked at it And noticed a photo of their classes wishing them luck in arcadia oaks with it . He took a breath . " new sites so we don't start school yet so will head to troll market tomorrow so let's get some rest " he said noticing some bruises on Eli hands . " bully " he asked as Eli nodded . " you can stay with us for as long as you want just tell your parents " he said as Eli nodded .

Meanwhile the group was unaware of bular watching them . " Sleep well trollhunter soon you shall fall " he thought noticing the girl come out of the house and flung the axe as it landed above his head . He noticed she scratched her neck a little before heading back inside . He left wondering what that was about . He headed back to his hideout in the forest . He noticed the teacher stricklander . " what do you want and maybe you can answer a question " he asked .

Stricklander placed his hands behind his back and noticed the one eye that was injured and was disappointed . " wow your failing Gunmar but I will take care of your mistake by having someone else get the bridge done " he said as Angor slashed Bular in two . He looked to Angor and waved him off before heading home . He noticed Gunamr appeared in a pond . " Gunmar it had to be done " he said as Gunmar was silent before disappearing . He headed to his car and headed home .

Keiichi had trouble sleeping and sat up in bed . He walked downstairs and saw Rena drinking some hot chocolate . He took a seat at the table and held her hand . " how are you doing " he asked as Rena smiled and nodded fine . He nodded and made himself a cup of hot chocolate . He took a sip and sighed " how about we write a letter to Satoko and Rika about what's going on so far " he said as Rena nodded getting some paper and pens . He took another sip of his hot chocolate as Rena wrote the letters as he helped write them . He closed the envelopes and finished his hot chocolate as did Rena before going to send the letters .

The next morning Keiichi woke up and took a breath heading to the basement . He noticed Blinky and Arrgghh asleep and took a breath as Eli called to him and Rena so he could show them around arcadia oaks . He headed upstairs and headed outside of his house as the three bumped into a person . He noticed it was a teacher , principal or guidance counselor . He noticed Eli made introductions . " nice to meet you stricklander " he said feeling like they were being watched as they headed into town to explore .

Meanwhile Rika and Satoko received the letters somewhat quickly . Both took a sip of their tea . " We should visit them " She said as Satoko nodded looking at Mion . " Also we should tell them the mion we know was replaced with this weird creature " Both said taking another sip of their tea . " let's head to class " both said after writing a replay to the letters .

Meanwhile Keiichi was checking out a shop that sold games and toys and bumped into a girl who dropped some toys she was buying for her little brother . He felt Rena behind him scratching her neck as the girl shook his hand and introduced herself . " nice to meet you Claire " he said as she walked away after seeing Rena . He bopped Rena head and sighed as Claire hurried away with the gifts after paying . He noticed the time " Eli and Rena let's head back home Arrgghh and blinky should be up and we can head to troll market " he said as both nodded . He noticed Rena walked away as they headed back home and saw her following Claire .
