It was Christmas in New York, there was a lot of snow, and was a lovely Christmas night.
In the Sewers, Little Turtles and Splinter, prepared to spend their first Christmas together, in their little cave.
Master Splinter had found a small Christmas tree, and together they decorated it. Colored lights were hung on the Christmas tree, Splinter found them somewhere, as well as a few Christmas balls. There were also paper-cut animals in the Christmas tree, and a star at the top.
"A reallllyyy beautiful Christmas tree!" Michelangelo said excitedly as they look at the wood.
"Yes, my son, it's beautiful." Splinter said.
"I'm hungry," Raphael said.
"I do too!" Donatello said.
"Well then I'll go eat, Christmas porridge is ready."Splinter said with a smile to his son.
The kitchen smelled good. In the morning, Splinter had baked gingerbread with his sons, they had even made a gingerbread house. And also baked a delicious plum cake.
Splinter offered the boy porridge, and gingerbread and cake, and warm cocoa.
The boys liked the Christmas delicacies, and when they had eaten, it was time to go to sleep, the boys were very excited because they soon wanted to get to open the Christmas presents. But in the end they fell asleep.
Splinter also went to sleep.
In the morning Michelangelo woke up Leonardo.
"Leo ... Leo! Wake up! It's Christmas Eve!" he said.
Leonardo woke up, and so did the other brothers, for now they would be allowed to open the gifts.
There were many Christmas gift packages under the fir tree, and candy in the Christmas stockings.
Splinter had woken up to the noise of his sons, and came to watch as the boys opened their presents.
"Look Master! Santa brought us presents!" Leo said excitedly.
"That's right." Splinter said with a smile.
The boys received a lot of nice gifts.
Leonardo got: a new toy sword, a blue teddy bear, a kickboard, and a blue scarf and wool shirt.
