Chapter One: Feeder Lore

Elena Gilbert was sitting in Bonnie Bennett's dead grandmother's backyard with Bonnie, Caroline Forbes and Elena's little brother Jeremy. The four of them had paper lanterns in their hands and as they lifted them up in the air, they watched as the wind took them away.

"Do you think they found peace?" Caroline asked them.

"I like to think they found their version of peace," Elena whispered as she tried her eyes. "Just have some hope that they did."

Jeremy nodded and as he eyed his sister he saw that she held that hope they did.

Bonnie, Elena, Jeremy and Caroline found themselves in the middle of town square where silhouettes of people were surrounding them. The silhouettes surrounding them were in various numbers. Elena had one, Caroline had one, Bonnie had two and Jeremy had four, causing him to pale. Their hearts were beating out of their chests and as fingers grazed their throats, a throat cleared, causing the four to turn to see a dark skinned woman in clothing from the tenth century.

"Who are you?" Jeremy asked and the woman smiled. Her smiled worried everyone.

"Ayana," the woman said. "I am here to tell you of your true path and future." She stepped to stand where the silhouettes were. "You four are Feeders. Vampires or humans who have blood that appeals to certain vampires who will only take your blood and lust for it."

"Do you know who we are meant to be Feeders for?" Jeremy asked.

"That is for you to find out," she whispered. "I know but I would rather you all to find out."

By the time they woke up, the four were worried about whom they were to be feeders for.

"Why don't we forget about it and start the pranking?" Caroline suggested.

"How about we look up what it truly means to be a feeder?" Elena choked.

"Wouldn't it mean that we are just blood donors for vampires?" Jeremy squeaked out. He had four people who would be lusting for his blood!

Apparently being a doppelganger wasn't as hard as he thought it would be.

"We will do research on it after the pranks," Caroline told them. "Okay?"

After being undaggered by his hybrid brother since the ritual, Elijah was tasked by Klaus with trying to explain the new world to the others when Klaus entered the room with a smirk.

His brother's smirk was always filled with trepidation filling them all.

"I was hoping to talk to you all about something," he said at their curious glances. "Do you think we have someone out there?"

"Like a mate or a lover?" Elijah asked as Finn glowered at Klaus.

"I doubt you have one," Rebekah sneered at Klaus after she was dressed in a pair of leggings and a tunic. "After what you've done to us why should you get anything of the sort?"

Elijah gave her a reproachful look, silently warning her to shut up. She wasn't going to back down but Finn managed to get her to.

"Sister be quiet as I know you don't deserve anything," he growled once he heard her mention killing Sage.

"Both of you," Elijah managed to bark out. "Shut up and let Niklaus finish." He turned to Klaus, motioning for him to finish speaking.

"Something along those lines," Klaus admitted while inclining his head to Elijah in silent thanks. "I can see about getting a witch here to see."

As an elderly witch entered the house, Elijah eyed her warily. The clunky necklaces adorning her neck and beaded bracelets on her wrist made him think of a hippie but he didn't think she was.

"So what does this spell do exactly?" He asked her and she eyed him.

"Blood in the pot," she said with a nod. "Once that's done I'll tell you what you all have."

Though it seemed harmless…Elijah was still wary and as he gave her a drop of his blood to put in the cauldron, her eyes turned white as she was chanting in Latin before stopping.

"You have a feeder with this scent," she told him as he sniffed the air to smell lemons and rosemary. "Whether or not it ends up going further I couldn't tell you."

Elijah smirked, as he knew the scent very well.

As Klaus would say…'third time's the charm'. He just hoped that Elena Gilbert would be willing to be his in every way he could imagine.

As a friend, a Feeder, confidant and maybe in the future a lover.

Though he was content to have her as the first three as she deserved better than him as a lover.

He looked at his other siblings who were reeling from the shared knowledge that they each had the same feeder.

"We need to get into our prank mindset now," Caroline said as she looked at Matt, Elena, Jeremy, Bonnie and Tyler. "We are all going in separate ways to prank certain classrooms. Bonnie gets the seniors English classroom," Bonnie nodded. "Matt gets the freshmen History classroom while Jeremy gets the gym," the two nodded. "Tyler gets the juniors math classroom and Elena," the brunette looked at her, "advance chemistry lab."

"Understood," the five said before Bonnie asked her, "you?"

"The swim area. I'm thinking maybe food dye in the water for that."

Caroline was trying to pick out the best food dye colors that she could mix together when someone began to growl and purr with their nose on her collarbone.

Gulping, she turned to see Stefan there and his eyes were black with lust.

Elena was in the only advance chemistry lab when a hand touched her waist, causing her to turn and see Elijah Mikaelson there in his usual three piece suit (a black Armani one) and she smiled.

"Hello," she said smiling widely. "How are you?" He smiled and his eyes looked around before staring into hers. "What brings you to the high school this late at night?"

"After waking up from a summer nap I'm doing well," he said smiling. "What brings me here this late at night is you actually Lovely." She raised an eyebrow. "Your scent is delectable."

The slight motion of his veins slowly showing and throbbing made her sit on the desk, tilting her head to the side.

"If you want to feed from me you can," she offered him her blood and he looked at her pulse. "It's fine. I trust you."

He gulped and as he eyed her, wondering if she was being honest, he ended up smiling as she seemed content. He didn't want to show off his veins but her fingers touched his cheek, making the veins become prominent.

"I've never seen you vampire out and it looks handsome," she whispered. "It helps you with your sex appeal." He smirked and the moment his fangs entered her neck he started to pull on her veins and the whimpered moans escaping her lips made him place a hand on her thigh.

"'Lijah…please…" she whimpered and he parted her thighs, placing a hand on her inner thigh. "Please…just please…" a wave of need from the pleasure he was giving her from the pull was crashing into her.

Pulling his fangs from her he had her in his arms, her back against the window, rolling his hips upward and she threw her head back with a moan escaping. He captured her mouth with his and if anyone outside looked at the chemistry lab's window they would see two pairs of hands while it looked as though it were steamy.

Elena's shirt was nearly off while she was slowly undoing his button up shirt as his suit jacket was tossed somewhere.

He pulled back and as he saw her shirt was gone, her chest heaving while a stray drop of blood moved its way to the middle of her breasts. Her eyes were dark with lust like his were and as he licked the blood drop from where it gathered he kept his eyes on hers.

By the end of the night not only would the classroom be thoroughly pranked but also he would have her as his and everyone would know that she was his since his scent would be all over her.

Caroline was worried as she was running-literally, running-from a very lustful Stefan before he caught her, pressing her against the wall and sinking his fangs into her.

She couldn't stop the moan from escaping her lips and her eyes shutting of their own accord.

Matt and Tyler seemed to be alone as they were pranking the classes, unknowing that they were not the only ones in the school this late at night.

Or what was happening with their friends.

Bonnie was giggling to herself as she was changing all the books in the class to something else when she felt a hand on the back of her neck and another on her elbow.

"What do we have here buddy?" She gulped as she turned around to see two young men-around their twenties-with dark hair and eyes. "A little witch girl."

"You smell divine love," the one touching the back of her neck growled against the skin. "Mind if I had a taste?" He licked his lips and before she could answer he sunk his fangs into her throat, causing her to gasp. She would have done a spell if the other vampire didn't bite into her neck.

For some reason she felt aroused by it and found herself almost lying on the desk, eyes closed with a blissful smile on her face.

Elena was on Elijah's lap and her fingers were going through his short hair while she kept his head buried in her neck.

"I'm going to take you out of the school," he growled. "Tell me what you want me to do and I'll do it."

The moment she let his head go, he moved to look her in the eyes, which were swirling with emotions.

"I want to know if you want me as anything except for the newest doppelganger," she whispered. "If you want me as a new doppelganger or someone else then we can only be friends."

He framed her face in his hands and whispered, "I want everything. I don't care if you're the newest doppelganger or not."

She looked vulnerable yet he knew that she was more than vulnerable.

"I'm the newest version of Katherine," she denied. "Why am I special?"

"You're better than Katerina and Tatia put together," he whispered. "How about I take you out tonight? Right now?"

She smiled lightly.

"I would love that," she whispered. "I would love that immensely."

Jeremy was paling as he was in the gym and a blonde man with a British accent looked at him, a smirk on his face as he sniffed the air daintily.

"You have a familiar smell," he told him. "Very familiar…" His eyes widened and the smirk grew. "Hello my little Feeder."

Jeremy ran.

Unfortunately he just initiated a chase.

Klaus was smirking as he ran throughout the school, trying to find his little Feeder when he saw Elijah fixing the newest doppelganger's clothes while she fixed his. Sniffing the air his smirk turned into a smile.

His brother had the one thing he had desired.

Jeremy was trying to find a place to hide. He went into the swim area only to leave as it looked like Caroline and Stefan were bloodsharing with nothing covering them, he almost went into the classroom Bonnie was in but bypassed it as he heard moaning coming from it.

Elijah had Elena sitting with him at a café in town, both smiling and laughing as they told stories-like how Damon thought he had kissed her but she had gotten Katherine to portray her to get that kiss out of Damon's system.

"I had offered her my blood-from the vein-if she would always portray me whenever Damon had wanted to be near me," Elena giggled. "I don't trust him and he has a problem with leering at me and Jeremy." She shivered.

"Katerina fed from you?" He was surprised and she giggled.

"She took mine from the bag and I wasn't her first choice," Elena decided to clarify. "Bonnie was and she nearly killed Bonnie." She shrugged. "Something about how delicious witch blood is?"

Elijah smirked.

"Never had witch blood but my siblings have," he told her. "However your blood was delicious." His smirk widened at her now flushing cheeks.

"My blood's that good?" She asked. "When Stefan tried it he said it was disgusting."

"I enjoyed tasting your blood," he told her with a kiss to her nose. "It's delicious to me." She took a bite of her scone and offered him a bite to him. The moment he took a bite, his eyes darkened. "It's good but not as good as your blood Lovely."

Damon Salvatore was incensed as he saw Elijah and Elena on a date, drinking coffee and blatantly flirting. He sauntered over to the café only for his neck to snap.

Finn smiled as he saw the downed vampire before looking up, he saw his brother on a date, smiling and looking happy.

All Finn wanted was his siblings happy and if his favorite brother was happy as well as in love, that's all he would want.

Klaus smirked as he found his little Feeder, trying to hide in the library when he grabbed him.

"Hello little Feeder," Klaus murmured. "Who are you?"

"Jeremy Gilbert," he whispered. "Who are you?"

Klaus smirked widely.

"Klaus Mikaelson," he told him as he ran a hand through his hair, calming him. "Elijah's brother."

"What are you going to do?" He asked in worry.

"Talk…and tickle you." Jeremy tensed and glared at him defiantly.

"You are not."

Yet almost an hour later Jeremy was writhing as Klaus grabbed him and tickled him. His fingers were tracing Jeremy's sides, watching him writhe in glee as tears fell from his eyes due to his laughter.

The moment that Jeremy looked flushed and happy, his eyes hazy from his happiness, Klaus smiled at him before he gave him a chaste kiss.

As soon as Elijah had driven to his house, she looked curiously at him.

"I don't trust Damon Salvatore doing something to you and you mentioned that you feel like someone's spying on you," he whispered to her. "I want you safe and happy." He ran a hand through her hair and gently kissed her, pressing his lips to hers.

The moment that Klaus had Jeremy at his house, the boy was refusing to go into the house.

"No," he told him. "Not going in." Klaus felt a thrill of anger going through him and as he pulled Jeremy out, he flung him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes. "Put me down you caveman!"

"I'm not going to," Klaus told him as they entered the house. "Welcome to your new home."

"It's not my home," Jeremy seethed and as the sounds of someone walking downstairs made them to turn their heads to the staircase they saw Elena in a pair of sleep shorts and Elijah's button up shirt as the man was behind her, in an undershirt and some sweatpants. "Elena? What are you doing here?"

"I live here now," she looked at him curiously. "What are you doing here?" She was rubbing the sleep out of her eyes with a fist.

"He says I live here now," Jeremy growled as he kicked Klaus. "I'm trying to tell him that I don't." She looked at the two Originals and whispered, "can you leave us for a bit?" Elijah looked nervous but nodded.

"Nik why don't we go have some bourbon?" He suggested to his brother. Klaus nodded and as he placed Jeremy on the ground, both he and Elijah left. Elena went over to her brother and sat him down on the couch.

"Elena we shouldn't live here," he whispered and she placed a hand on his. "Why are you so comfortable with this?"

She smiled sadly.

"Damon," she whispered. "I think he's been spying on us and…I didn't feel comfortable there anymore." He looked curiously at her. "I don't feel comfortable there with Damon having access and the tree outside of my window is the perfect place for someone to sit outside and watch me as I can be getting dressed, sleeping or coming out of the shower." She shivered and Jeremy hugged her, allowing her to lay her head on his shoulder. "I don't know why I didn't feel comfortable there but I was."

Jeremy didn't know that his own sister had been feeling uncomfortable in their own home. His fingers were going through her hair and she whispered, "I just want to feel safe again."

"You will sis," he promised. "I swear that you will." She smiled and kissed his temple.

"Elijah made that same promise as well," she hummed. "He made it to me and apparently he says that my blood is delicious." She blushed and he smirked.

"He's had your blood hmmm?" He asked and she nodded. "I wonder just how that interaction happened."

"He found me in the advanced chem lab and things got a bit steamy between us," she admitted. "It got really steamy and he decided to take me out on a date of sorts on top of having us live here. To protect us."

Once Elena was back in her room as the clock began to strike at midnight, Klaus led Jeremy to his room as he smiled at him.

"I hope that you like it here little one," he whispered before leaving Jeremy at his door. "It's going to be a fantastic year."
