Time Capsule of Justice Chapter 1
Now this started as a thought of what would the Master Chief as the master of the Universe... I watched a few He-man clips from the recent cartoons. Which then changed into, 'what magical object would be insane in the Halo Universe?' this went from Thor's hammer, that extended to all the equipment of the Avengers, (War Machine armour, Cap's Sheild, the Venom Symbiote.) to just the Blue Scarab from Blue Beetle, back to He-Man's sword (two or three times,) Star Wars, then Destiny's light before I realised the following story. Enjoy.

Narration-Old Histort
In War, Justice can be forgotten. Those who fight for Justice, the heroes that protect the innocent of the past always had a plan. After all he was the most dangerous man in the Galaxy.
Narration-Recent History
After two centuries of conflict the human race of Earth resulting in the decimation After wars and the discovery of a faster then light travel between planets, Earth began colonising the Sol System and hundreds of worlds outside of Sol.
Eventually the United Earth Government and it's military the UNITED NATION SPACE COMMAND or UNSC, would police these colonies. Unfortunately Corporations and Criminal Syndicates cause the creation of the Insurrection as a way to make a profit and creating a Galactic Terrorist Cell that given time would cause the extinction of the human Race. Drastic action was needed to end the coming danger. The Spartan-II program, taking young children and creating the ultimate soldier with their ultimate armour, MJONIR, they would be able to protect Humanity. A task that would be proven as the best call after First Contact occured over the planet Harvest.

First Contact with the Covenant
That was the first words that a religious group of aliens with the shared quest to commit Genocide of the human race. The waged war through the Human's territories destroying every human planet they crossed killing Trillions. It takes hundreds of ships to destroy one of the Covenants' smaller battleships. Eventually Spartans were revealed to the public as the best soldiers that only ever go missing in action.
The war would eventually reach a point where Humanity cannot survive, unless something can be found to change the tide against this Alien Threat. Sometimes FATE LENDS A HAND!
2549-Mid September-Arcadia-Outskirts of the Capital City Pirth-Mountain Region
Ten days, that was how long the Covenant had started the second invasion of the planet almost twenty years since the last Covenant Attack only this time the Spartans would be trapped on the planet. Master Chief Petty Officer Sierra-117, otherwise known as John-117, leader of the current Spartan-IIs was with the current Blue Team and a mismatch of Marines and ODST's as they held out at what was one of the remaining UNSC Bunker's designed to protect civilians' until ONI or Office of Naval Intelligence had commandeered the facility ten years prior after making a discovery and was now having the Spartans focus on Asset Defence until the Fleet arrived to reclaim the planet. Something that would normally be considered a death sentence except for one thing, this region they found themselves in, somehow, disrupts the Plasma used in the Covenant's weapons meaning no orbital plasma bombardment and plasma based weaponry within five kilometres of this facility.
Unfortunately the Covenant use other weapons besides Plasma, Needlers, that fire tracking crystals that hit moving targets and what projectile weapons the Brutes tend to use. Fortunately that meant they did not have to deal with anything more dangerous the a rocket propelled grenade with limited range. The bad news is that even with all this they are running out of ammo, and numbers, so far the Covenant had changed their plans to send hordes of the small Aliens known as Grunts to attack the fortifications without weapons. The Chief listens as Blue Team's Sniper takes her final shot, "I am out," Linda-058 the best sniper in the entire Spartan-II Unit, who had been given orders to focus fire on the command structure and heavy unit's of the Covenant.
"Fall back," the Chief ordered. "Siera-104, what have you found?"
Siera-104 or Fred-104 was inside the facility along with the forth and fifth members of his team, Kelly-087 and Kurt-051, a new addition but a welcome one after saving the team from a Human Ambush. Fred spoke through the radio in the Chief's helmet, "Well Chief I have good news and bad news," the Chief did not reply before Fred States, "I found the Security room that will cause the entire Bunker to lock down," the Chief grunted as he fired a very short burst of his rifle at the Grunts, "Bad news I found the item that ONI want. Majority of it is sealed under a thick lay of Hardened Rock and it is the size of a Mammoth transport."
The Chief simply asks, "Can you get inside?" unknown to everyone someone inside the 'item' was listening to them and coming to a decision.
"Most likely we will need to use the digging Equipment to find a way so," Fred States as the Chief makes a decision.
"All Forces, EVAC into the bunker," The Chief stated simply as slowly many of the Marines, ODST and local Police and Farmers slowly made their way inside, second to last being the damaged and almost out of fuel tank before the Chief stepped inside and says into his radio, "Lock down," resulting in the fifteen foot thick blast doors to slowly close along with secondary barriers in the walls and road. They were sealed off completely from the outside world, "Siera-104, did you find a communication centre?"
"Yeah, but not going to work during lockdown. They wanted this place to survive the Covenant glassing the planet," Fred states before asking "how is it looking up there?"
The Chief simply says, "They are going to know we seal ourselves inside. We need an edge," that was when they hear a sequence of beeps from their Radios.
Fred though simply states, "Chief, I had to turn my radio speakers off they just started blasting with sound."
The Chief frowns before looking to Linda, "Fred Found something, what is the status of everyone here?"
Linda after a moment simply says, "We have about ten women and children, five Police officers, three Farmers, ten ODST and five Marines, only enough ammo to hold this position for one clip each. About half that number of Troopers are injured."
The Chief frowns under his helmet before stating, "Move the civilians deeper into the facility," Linda was silent though shifted over to the radio in her helmet.
Linda says, "Our orders?"
"Considering that I am the highest ranking officer in this facility and we are cut off from the outside," the Chief starts before admitting, "Forget about clearance. Something is trying to contact us from inside the facility and I have a feeling that the Package may something to do about it. Have the uninjured Troopers and Police officers hold these doors," he hands Linda his rifle and his remaining ammo for it.
Linda states, "Chief, even without their plasma they still have equipment to get through."
"Then hold the line," The Chief states as he begins directing the injured and civilians and farmers towards the back shaft. The Chief even going as far as to carry an ODST by the name Buck, who had both legs melted off by a Brute's Flame Grenade. Accepted the help though his line of 'Hope the robot legs they give me can be used to Dance with,' The Chief just nodded at the comment as everyone handled loss in their own ways.
They took the left down fifty meters deeper into the mountain where the Chief get's his first look at the Package and realise that it may be bigger than a Mammoth Transport. The large reflective silver wall was three stories tall. The Chief headed over with Buck on his back and placed him on a chair next to a set of camera's recording the package. The Chief turned his Radio's speakers before heading over to Fred who says, "We have not found a way in or a way to move it. Kurt found out that our Radio Speakers are being affected by it the closer we get to the Package."
The Chief nods before looking at some of the terminals before looking up and freezing, in the middle of the Package was a doorway along with a red figure standing at the doorway. Buck was the first to comment, "What the hell!" which was true as Kelly walked over to the terminal and started rewinding the recordings and apparently all of the footage, that doorway was always there.
Kelly simply states, "Ah, Chief, according to this there was always a doorway, and I saw was the one to review these tapes earlier where they never showed a doorway."
By that time the red figure arrived, wearing a blue cape with a yellow 'T' on its chest and was clearly robotic. It spoke, "Greetings, I am Red Tornado and I have been monitoring your communications. Are you in need of assistance?"
The Chief sent beep to Kurt and received a green acknowledgement from his fellow Spartan before speaking, "I am Spartan-117. I take it that you are a Alien Construct?"
"That assumption is incorrect. I was created by Doctor T.O. Morrow, originally to take over our shared Homeworld of Earth. This vessel was launched from Earth before World War Three and the various conflicts after. For now the items of the Time Capsule may bring some assistance in saving the day, as it were," Red Tornado's statement surprised everyone before he started walking inside the Package, with the Chief, Fred, Kurt, Kelly, the injured Buck helped by larger Kelly.
The Chief asks Red Tornado, "What assets are located here?"
Red Tornado answered easily, "The original planner of this Time Capsule intended for the items to be protected against those who would use the items for personal gain. Hence why myself and Four others were left in stasis to protect the items from dangerous elements. My four compatriots will be revived within the next few hours. Each of their constitutions demand a different time table to revive."
The Chief frowns while Buck asks, "So what different robots of different makes?"
"Incorrect, myself only required a recharge of my systems. My compatriots each have organic components that require them extra care in recovery," Red Tornado answers before they reach the main chamber where past several tables with glass covered items on tables while at the opposite end was four old looking cryo pods. Red Tornado continued, "The Time Capsule's engines are currently filled with what appears to be solid rock. Most likely from a volcanic eruption, fortunately the Kryptonian metal that the hull is built from ensured structural integrity," the Chief looked around the large chamber as Red Tornado states, "Everything in this room is what can change the tide of the battle."
The Chief though simply asks, "The Covenant use Plasma based weaponry that does not appear to affect the surrounding area and disables their plasma based weapons. How?"
Red Tornado looks over to the right where they see a mace wired to the computer while generating an electric charge, "The Nth Metal generates a field that when amplified creates an invisible shield. Analysis should give a limited version that can be replicated. For now though it is protecting the area from Orbital Bombardment." While no one was paying attention a glass capsule holding what appeared to be a black liquid started oozing out the tiny crack as Kelly found a chair for Buck.
The Chief looked around until he spotted a green ring, what appeared to be ornamental scarabs along with swords. Fred comments, "I do see any guns, Chief." That was the moment when the Black Ooze reached Buck.
Buck screamed as suddenly he was engulfed with what was clearly a living creature. Red Tornado was calm as he states, "It appears that the Symbiote has found a new host," Buck was covered in the black slime and stood on two brand new legs as a large white spider emblem was shown on his chest and his head covered in a black hood with white eye rings. Red Tornado comments, "If any of you has chocolate, I suggest you give it to Agent Venom to eat."
Buck cracked his neck and says, "Sirs, we are fine. Or at least that is what this guy is saying," which was when Buck's hood receeded revealing Buck's face with a miniature head filled with teeth smiled at them.
The Chief asks, "So all of these are weapons?" indicating the relics around the room.
"Except for the metal tablets, that hold the blueprints for many of the man made inventions," Red Tornado states as one of the Cryo Pods activate. Blue team looks to the opening pod as a green hand appeared and a green teenage boy with a strange symbol on his forehead appeared, he was wearing purple clothes. Red Tornado spoke, "Brainiac 5," Red Tornado offered a hand from across the room before Brainiac 5's hand stretched across the room and took Tornado's hand before it glowed light blue.
The Chief waited until Brainiac spoke, "I see. Then we should open the armoury," Brainiac without prompt walked to the solid wall on the right of the entrance and forced it to shift revealing what the Spartans wanted weapons. Brainiac reached a somewhat oversized rifle that looks very heavy and glows blue, "This is the only operational Cryo Weapon at this time, be aware that if you strike your allies you will have eleven minutes to de-thaw them before Death."
The Chief raised an eyebrow while Kurt sent a green acknowledgement in that it was safe. The Chief spoke while Fred accepted the weapon, "What are you?"
"I am a Techno Organic fifth level intellect from an alternate future timeline. I know the situation due to my ability to interface with technology to learn about the technology or access information from computers," Brainiac states before frowning at the group before stating, "The ship's sensors indicate that the facility above us is five minutes from being breached. Spartan-087, please stay here while the others return to the surface," he handed the Chief another weapon this one being a smaller pistol, "This is much the same as the Cryo Gun, only this one does not need to be recharged. Spartan-104," Brainiac pointed up, "Perhaps that will assist with the evacuation," the looked up and saw something that changed their view of the coming battle.
Five Minutes later-Main door into the facility-inside
Linda had assisted with creating barricades aiming at the doors the Tank they had brought led to finding the tank's main weapon was cracked inside the front hanger. They made several barricades out of the crates and whatever they could find to protect themselves. The reason being that from the loud bangs being heard from the blast doors, sounding like hammers smashing against the door. They had not found a way past whatever was blocking the Plasma weapons. Linda aimed down her sights as gaps started forming in the blast doors before an eye was seen looking in a gap before suddenly having a bullet penetrate said eye causing screams of pain that shifted into anger as more pounding occured on the other side of the doorway. Until finally a hairy ape like creature known as a Brute with one eye roared in anger as it charged forward with a large hammer ready to smash the human that dared injure this powerful 'warrior.' Linda, the police officers, marines and ODSTs' focused fire on the Brute and it's partner rushed inside with several Grunts and unknown to everyone a trio of invisible aliens snuck past the human barriers to retrieve their prize.
Unfortunately for the Brutes, John and Kurt arrived holding their new Cryo Weapons and opened fire freezing all of them to the point a single bullet would cause them to shatter. The Chief simply says, "Everyone get behind us," before Red Tornado floated above the barriers and generated two red tornados knocking them away from the hanger doors. "Head down and get rearmed do not shoot the green kid and watch where you stand!" The Chief went over to the lockdown controls and deactivated them as the lift started to return to the surface after going back down. When the elevator returned with a large jet metal alloyed battle suit with a large black 'Bat' symbol appeared and started stomping towards the doorway.
Linda stares at the suit before silently speaking over the Spartans' Communication channel, "There better be a super sniper rifle down there," before heading to the elevator where unfortunately the three invisible Aliens had already infiltrated.
With the Lockdown shutdown, Fred in the Mech Suit rushed forward and smashed the doors before targeting the Covenant Emplacements before launching ten missiles that destroyed several large blue tanks and turrets. A pair of blue armoured creatures rushed Fred in his new suit, their large metal shield ready to crash into the suit only to both be back handed by the Mech suit. The Chief and Kurt focused on backing Fred up while Red Tornado was creating a tornado that would make Dorothy want to go home.
The Chief hears a crackle from his radio, "Chief we have hostiles in the package!" The Chief though focused on the fight in front of him.
In the Time Capsule-a minute earlier
Brainiac 5 was messing with what appeared to be high tech suction cups and placing them on Kelly's armour. At the entrance Buck wearing the Venom suit was eating Brainiac 5's secret stash of Chocolate as Linda rushed in. Linda looks around before asking, "what are you doing?" aiming her rifle at Brainiac.
"Spartan Kelly's DNA has been muted," Brainiac states before looking to Linda and shouting, "Look out!"
Which was when Agent Venom leaped onto one of the invisible aliens forcing them to reveal their reptilian and four jaw feature, these are the Elites of the Covenant, specifically the Special Operations Elites used for assassinations and item retrieval. The Elite that Agent Venom was riding around the room activated it's sword ready to stab Agent Venom only for Agent Venom's face to suddenly grow teeth before chomping on the Elite's head killing it instantly.
In the moment Brainiac activates the pads that spark on Kelly's armour while Linda fought one of the Elite's only to crash into a table shattering another glass case and leaving the contents of the table on the floor except for what was in the glass case. Kelly's eyes suddenly sparked with lightning before time appeared to freeze around her as Linda contacted the Chief. Kelly looked around the room and spotted the Elite reaching for the Mace generating the anti plasma field. The moment the Elite touched the weapon it was disconnected while Kelly rushed forward and while generating lightning punched the Elite multiple times before Brainiac 5 shouts at high speed, "Quick, move the Sangheli into my pod!" Kelly suddenly grabbed the Elite and before the Elite could even move, it dropped the mace that floated in mid air as Kelly shoved the Elite into the cryopod.
Kelly looked around before rushing Linda's Elite and with a single punched removed the Elite's head that flew into Agent Venom's mouth. Agent Venom chewed the skull and swallowed before suddenly gagging and asks, "Did I just eat Alien Brains?"
Brainiac 5 simply says, "Yes, which is why I gave you chocolate to stave of Cannibalism," Agent Venom shouts 'What!?' in the back ground as Brainiac 5 continues, "Now with your connection to the Speed Force we should be able to go on the offensive. My plan has a success rate of ninety nine point nine to the infinite decimal chance of success and," that was when the green glow from the shattered capsule flew out the Time Capsule causing Brainiac 5 to sigh and say, "Never mind, we now have a fifty-fifty chance of everyone dying unless one of the Spartans receive that Ring."
That was when a large cannon was heard causing Linda to say, "Was that a MAC round in atmosphere?" while Agent Venom covered his ears in pain.
Outside-moments earlier.
Suddenly the Chief had to dodge plasma fire while Fred's Mech suit was receiving the brunt of that attack only to shrug off the generated heat causing almost every Grunt to run in terror, the few remaining became suicidal as they rushed the group only for Kurt to freeze them quickly. The Chief dodged an Energy sword that damaged his weapon causing him to throw the weapon at the Covenant near him as it detonated flash freezing a couple dozen alien. The Chief missed a green glow as he focused on the enemy reaching for his pistol and firing the transparent green weapon blasting the Covenant with energy blasts. The Chief noticed the green pistol and the strange ring on his hand, before he thought of a larger weapon, causing it to turn into a rocket launcher before he went bigger as the ships above them started charging their weapons aiming at the bunker. The Weapon he created was the front half of a UNSC frigate as the Chief pulled the trigger launching multiple glowing green slugs through the ships in orbit.
Red Tornado floated down as the battle was won. Red Tornado spoke, "I see you have been chosen to become the newest Green Lantern."
The Chief frowns before asking, "I take it, this is one of a kind?" which Red Tornado admitted it being true. The Chief frowns before stating, "We will only get a brief reprieve before more Covenant ships make an appearance."
"With that Ring, you have the power to do just that," Red Tornado states as he moves back to the bunker leaving the Chief to look inside before being engulfed in a green aura.
A few days later-Naration
With the package secured, UNSC vessels were dispatched to reclaim the planet only to disabled and neatly parked on the planet's moon. Contact was then made with the Spartans on the surface and even with the news labelled top secret, it was difficult to conceal the empowered Heroes who managed to save a planet and defeat a Covenant fleet solo. The Time Capsule would then be raised from under the surface revealing a large circular ring connected to a round pointed structure that would bring salvation to Humanity.

Okay, to be clear, I do not own Marvel or DC Comics, but this was really just a prototype for a story idea that I have only seen once or twice online.
