Author's Notes: It has been quite some time since I last posted something. Sorry about that, folks. Since we're at that busy time of the year, work has been taking up quite a bit of my time and energy. As a result, it was a bit hard for me to get back into the groove of writing. So, to try to get back into it, I whipped out my old PlayStation Vita and got back into playing Persona 4 Golden. I ended up beating it for the second time, and now, I'm playing through it again properly to get all the Social Links maxed out and to get the true ending and epilogue. That, in turn, got some old gears grinding, and I decided to get my beloved OC, Misaki Iseya, off of the back burner. In combination with a story I heard on a YouTube video, I put this little piece together. I think Yu doesn't get enough love in the fanfiction world, and I think it's time to remedy that, even just a little. I hope you guys enjoy it!

She let out the breath she held in for what felt like an eternity as she left Miyuki's room, shutting the door slowly and quietly after putting her and Nanako to bed. Nanako was staying over for the evening, and it was good for her, considering her younger sister had a friend and someone to keep her company for the time being. Loosening the ribbon that held half of her long, soft black locks up, Misaki ran a hand over her head to smooth them out before retreating back to her room to settle in. Her heart was racing like crazy, for once she stepped into her room, she was going to resume her date with her boyfriend. Earlier in the afternoon, they enjoyed a walk by the river, went up to the shrine to make their wishes and offer their prayers to her late brother before enjoying dinner at Aiya and then returning to her grandmother's home afterwards.

When she opened the door, the first thing her blue-grey eyes came into contact with was the man in question. He was getting himself comfortable on her vast bean bag chair with the television across the room on with a freshly made bucket of popcorn and ready to play the movie they reserved. He turned towards her when she opened the door, his grey eyes locking with hers.

"Are Miyuki and Nanako okay?"

"They're fine," she replied with a nod. "They just wanted me to read a story to them before they went to sleep."

He nodded as he watched her set her ribbon down on the nearby vanity and proceeded to join him, taking caution to not budge the overflowing bucket of popcorn he was holding.

"Are you ready?" he asked, reaching out to caress her cheek with his fingertips.

"Yes," she replied.

He closed the distance between them, wrapping an arm around her shoulders and pulling her close to him. Once she relaxed against him and rested her head on his shoulder, Yu pushed the play button and the movie began to play.

He took note of how tearful she had been following a particular scene in the movie, and he rubbed her side to comfort her. He gulped, his breath hitching in his throat as he also tried to fight back tears of his own. The way the two teenagers in the movie defied the odds against their relationship made quite the story, and as the movie progressed, he believed he chose right when he decided on this one. Misaki glanced at him occasionally, and he didn't miss the yearning in them with every look his way. He wanted to relish the moment and feel her sweet, luscious lips against his in one of their slow, lingering kisses that he had grown to love over the summer. However, he forced himself to wait for the right time, for he didn't want her to miss a single second of the movie.

When the movie came to an end and the credits began, Misaki breathed out a huge sigh of relief, as if she was waiting for the right opportunity to let it out.

"That was a wonderful movie. The plot flowed so smoothly. Thanks for showing me this one, Yu-kun. I enjoyed it."

"Me too. I'm glad you enjoyed it, Misaki-chan."

She watched as he checked the time on his wristwatch.

"What time is it?"

"A little after eleven," he replied.

"Are you going to have to go home?"

He looked at her, not missing the hint of sadness in her voice.

"Do you want me to?"

She knew that he wanted to hear her answer, as she was still working on being honest about her feelings.

"No. Not yet."

His arm still wrapped around her shoulders, Yu leaned in and pressed his lips against hers in a soft, gentle kiss. Misaki felt her cheeks heat up at the contact, letting herself go lax as the kiss lingered. He placed his free hand on top of hers as he took in the sweet taste of her lips, hoping he didn't need to take a breath anytime soon.

He didn't have much time to think about it when he felt her shift on the bean bag chair, feeling the weight of her straddling him on his lap. She placed both hands on the chair to steady herself, and he forced himself to pull away from her so he could see for himself. The sight of her on his lap in her violet, floral camisole top and a simple pair of denim shorts made her look as beautiful as the summer flowers he helped her grow in her grandmother's backyard.

"I hope I'm not pushing things too far, and I really don't want to mess this up when things have been going so well."

Her voice was barely above a whisper, and she couldn't look him in the eye as she said it. Wanting to see her face as she spoke what was on her mind, Yu placed his hand under her chin and tilted her head upwards.

"You're not going to ruin this, Misaki-chan. Nothing you say or do will scare me away," he cooed. "Now, tell me. What's on your mind?"

She was silent for a brief moment, and after she got her thoughts together, she managed to speak.

"I want to try something with you, or at least, get a feel of what it's like."

"Yeah? What is it?"

Her throat went dry, the words unable to leave her mouth, much less form. Instead of putting it into words, Misaki decided to let her actions speak the answer and locked her lips with his. One of her hands reached under the collar of his white buttoned shirt, feeling his skin and the rippling pattern of his broad back under her fingertips. Her other hand found his chest, and only when she managed to loosen the first button did Yu put it together, and he forced himself to break away from her.

"If you're not ready yet, Yu-kun, I understand."

"It's not that I don't want to," he said with a shake of his head. "I just didn't think it would be this soon."

"Me neither. I guess it's because I love you as much as I do."

Her words made his heart pound faster in his chest.

"At the very least, I want to give it a try and let us both enjoy the moment."

Yu reached up to cup both her cheeks in his hands.

"Okay. Show me what you want, Misaki-chan."

She pressed her forehead against his, her gaze wandering down to his chest as both her hands found his shirt. He lowered his hands back down to his sides as she loosened the remaining buttons, parted the fabric and pulled it off. Her hands caressed his chest, her fingertips taking in every last detail of his muscular build. The heat in her cheeks intensified when his hands reached for the hem of her top, and with a deep breath, Misaki pulled away and raised her arms above her head, allowing him to pull her top over her head. His eyes roved her body, liking how the violet color of her bra complemented her skin.

She wasted no time kissing him again, her hands finding the back of his head and tangling in his silver locks. Her nails gently grazed his scalp, emitting a moan from him that she happily swallowed. His hands moved towards her back, feeling every last inch of her skin while her lips moved down to kiss his neck. Yu let out another moan, reaching for the clasp that held her bra in place, and with one hand in combination with skill, loosened the hooks and pulled the contraption away from her body before resuming his caressing assault all over her back.

She kissed him again, this time a little harder compared to their usual, slow, gentle kisses, pressing her bare breasts against his exposed chest. Not faltering, Misaki reached down for the buckle of his belt, slowly loosening it. However, just as she got it undone and loosened the button on his pants did they hear a soft knock on the door.

"Onee-chan?"

A loud smack flooded the room as the two of them broke the kiss and looked towards the door, panic flooding through the both of them.

"What is it, Miyuki? Are you okay?" she called.

"I'm having a hard time getting to sleep. Do you have a moment?"

"Shit," she heard Yu mutter against her chest.

"Stay right there, honey. I'll be out in just a moment."

She quickly pushed herself off of his lap and grabbed her robe from her study chair. Once she had it on and secure, she watched as Yu stood up from the bean bag chair and retreated towards the bathroom so that he was out of sight. Once he was in place, Misaki slowly opened the door just enough for her to come out, seeing her younger sister standing in front of the door.

"Okay. Was it just you that couldn't sleep, or is Nanako up too?"

"Nanako is up as well, but I told her that I would come and fetch you," Miyuki replied.

"I'll read you both another story and get you back to bed, okay?"

When Miyuki nodded, Misaki placed both her hands on her shoulders and led her back towards her room.

Yu was waiting on the bean bag chair when she came back into the room. The button on his pants was still loose, his belt was still undone, and while he had put his shirt back on, he left it open. He turned towards her just as she shut the door behind her, and he didn't miss the huge sigh of disappointment that left her lips.

"Damn it. Story of my life. Sorry about that."

Yu shook his head.

"No. It's okay. I think that kind of might have been my fault. I was a bit loud when you were kissing my neck."

Misaki felt her cheeks heat up again.

"You liked me kissing your neck?" she asked, rubbing the back of her neck sheepishly and also feeling the heat radiating off of it.

"I did," he replied with a nod.

"Good to know. I probably could have found out what else you might have liked if we had the house to ourselves tonight.

"Sorry again about the interruption."

She couldn't bear to look at him, looking down at her feet, and she heard him breathe out a sigh as he stood up from the bean bag chair and approached her, standing before her. He reached out towards her face, placing a finger under her chin and tilting her head up.

"We've still got plenty of time before the summer is over, Misaki-chan. At the very least, I won't let the summer end without spending at least one night with you.

"Right now, I'm content with holding you. We'll get another chance soon enough."

Before she could say anything, Yu pulled her by the wrist towards him, wrapping his arms around her. Breathing in his scent, Misaki leaned into him, wrapping her arms around his waist and relishing the closeness. Despite the interruption, the moment was far from ruined, and at the very least, the date would end on a positive note.

End Notes: Poor Yu got denied. I can't help but tease him because he's so adorable. I'm not sure what my next project is going to be. However, this old itch from playing Persona 4 Golden is tempting me to resume Beauty Slept in Sodom and finally complete it after all these years since putting the idea together. Considering how close it is to completion and with the end of the year approaching, I plan to make that my New Year's Resolution along with playing the video games I've accumulated on my bucket list. Once the holidays pass and I get past the final few phases of adjusting to my father's passing, I should be able to get a routine back into gear. I still plan to write more one shots and other side projects in between, but Beauty Slept in Sodom will be one of my top priorities alongside my Criminal Minds series and also starting Guarded Heart, my Persona 4 project as we near the new year. Wish me luck, and check back!
