A/N: I am still alive, but I went without a computer for about five months, I'm getting back into writing fanfics with a new project in the burner. But I had this idea after unlocking the true ending for Persona 5 Royal and it gave me an idea of what happened after Akira Narukami (name I picked for Persona 5 Royal) is taken back home.

It's labeled a song fic, but there are no lyrics featured on this fic because I want the reader to either go to Spotify, YouTube, Amazon Music, or their preferred music streaming service and listen to the song featured on this fic. Also it's written in a letter format because I want you guys to visualize a Japanese version of American Top 40 by Casey Kasem/Ryan Seacrest on the radio. I'm sure there's probably a real life version of such a program but it's best to be left open to interpretation for the reader.

Hope you guys love this little story I created and I wish you all a happy reading and Happy Holidays.

Disclaimer: I claim no ownership to any of the characters used in this story, Persona 5 and related characters are owned by Atlus Inc.

This week's Long Distance Dedication goes to Akira Narukami of Inaba, Japan from Makoto Niijima of Tokyo, Japan. She writes:

In the middle of April last year, my school received a transfer student who was wrongly accused of assaulting disgraced politician Masayoshi Shido, I'm sure that the country knows of the facts that came out after the fact, so I will not go into details of what really happened. I didn't know what to think of him initially, when he first came to our school. But when he and a group of students, who have now become my friends, began to root out a slew of assaults that were orchestrated by our disgraced gym teacher, I couldn't help but be curious of a guy who should have been nothing more than a stranger to me and I was commanded by my older peers to treat this boy like an ugly cockroach.

My view of him changed though, when he helped me from becoming a victim of sex and drug trafficking and in turn helped me root out the same ring of drug mules that were spearheaded by a wannabe member of the Yakuza. Some time had passed, and I noticed him not only spend time with people who have become my closest friends, but he eventually became my boyfriend who I love with all my heart and soul.

As the year went on, both me, Akira, and our friends agreed to work out a way to clear his name and out Shido as a politician so corrupt, he had the ability to make even Donald Trump or Vladimir Putin cast members for a pre-school children's anime. I knew that Akira had a lot of weight on his shoulders, though I admired him for keeping his head up high, I gently scolded him on Valentine's Day by letting him know that he did not need to shoulder all the weight on Akira, and I was willing to share the weight with him.

Akira's name has long been cleared at the time of writing this letter, and he has since returned home to finish his high school career. As a way of telling him that I will miss him and will forever wait for him, with love and devotion, I humbly request that you play U2's Walk On to let him know that I'm keeping my head high for him and know that I will greet him with a smile when he returns.

Well Ms. Niijima, we will gladly play that request for you, from Ms. Makoto Niijima to her boyfriend Akira Narukami, here is Walk On by U2.
