Occasionally, Omori would see someone with him in White Space.

It doesn't happen too often, but it was enough for him to remember her.

In all honesty, he've never seen this person before. He knows that, and yet, here she is, standing right next to him when he's in White Space. She've brought some things to his space, even her own door.

They've never talked to each other. He've never felt like they should, but they interacted once in a while, like play her strange eggplant game or ride her swivel chair until the hands get them.

There was one time where Omori tried to invite her to play with his friends, but no matter what, his door won't open for her. The same goes for her door to him. So, they've only spend time in White Space until he wanted to go and play with his friends, leaving her behind.

Sometimes, Omori wonders if she has her own friends to go to when she's bored. He realized that she've never done that to him before. Maybe she didn't have any friends, but Omori has never gone beyond her door, so he doesn't know if that's true or not.

Over time, Omori begun to notice that their little playdates have began to become too far and too few. Even when it simply was an occasion, even when Omori was able to have more time to play with his friends, he does notice that they don't play with each other that often anymore. There was a part of him that misses her between these moments, but he has a desire to see his friends more than to wait for her.

Then... Omori felt like he's never going to meet her again, and... she never came back.

No matter how long he waited, the pigtailed girl never came back. Not when he came back to White Space, nor did her room faded into his, like before.

Now, Omori went back to his usual routine, but in the very back of his mind, he remembers her and her place in White Space.

It's been a year since Sunny moved away, but now for the summer, he came back to Faraway Town to be able to see his friends once again, to see Mari once again.

With his friends by his side, Sunny visited Mari's grave with some flowers in his hands.

His focus should be solely on Mari, but he noticed a grave that caught his eye.

It wasn't too different from the other headstones. At the same time, it was kind of barebones. Just the years of birth to death, which was surprisingly short, and the name: "Madotsuki Yume." No special engravings to give him details of what she might be like, and yet he was drawn to it.

Following his gaze, Basil asked, "...D-Did you know her?"

Sunny shook his head, and by the looks of his friends, they don't recognize the name neither, but he've left her a flower on her empty grave.

AN: I just had this random idea pop up in my head, so I apologize if it's kind of messy.
