A/N: This is a one-shot side-story to my main Power Ranger stories. It takes place between the Master's Herlad and Fishing for a Friend.

On a distant island, far away from the US, a bunch of Swabbies were building something large in a jungle, as Barbarax and three other monsters all walked towards them. One was a flea-like monster called Fleatis, another was a hammer/mallet themed monster called Malletmon, while the third was a bazooka-themed monster called Bazkoon.
Once near the Swabbies, the four monsters stopped and turned to them all.
"Everything's proceeding as scheduled, sir." Malletmon reported.
"Execellent. Good work, Swabbies." Barbarax commented. "Won't be long before we can leave and begin our conquest of this planet."
Unknown to them all, they were being watched by Melanie Forrester, the Orange Space Ranger, who was hiding behind a tree, wearing her Space uniform. She peeked out from behind the tree with a pair of high-tech binoculars, then saw part of a large ship being built by the Swabbies, recording what she saw with it.
"It's like Andros said." she thought. "I better get outta here. I can't fight them by myself."
She lowered the binoculars, then turned and ran off through the jungle as fast as she could.
As Barbarax and his three men began to move, Malletmon turned and saw Mel slightly, but not clearly.
"Huh?" he muttered.
"You okay?" Bazkoon asked, turning to her.
"I thought I saw something." Malletmon said. "Must've imaged it."
"Well, if someone was spying on us, it's too late." Barbarax said. "No one can stop us now."
Bazkoon turned back to the jungle, hoping his boss was right.
Later that day, inside an office of a newspaper building, a bunch of workers were working around, including a blonde haired women, who currently had sunglasses on.
"Things have been pretty quiet today." a man with brown hair named Reese said.
"I know what you mean, Reese." another called Bob said.
A phone ran nearby, getting everyone to turn to it.
"Anybody expecting a call today?" a woman with black hair asked.
Most people shrugged, before Reese approached the phone.
"I'll get it." he said.
Reese picked up the phone.
"Hello." he said. "How can I help?"
Bob approached him, as he frowned slightly.
"Yeah. Why?" Reese said. "Well, who do you want? Right."
"Who's it for?" Bob asked.
"Her, Bob." Reese said, pointing at the blonde haired woman.
Everyone turned to her, as she turned to her everyone.
"Me?" she inquired, turning to the pair.
"Yeah. The call's for you." Reese said.
The blonde haired woman walked towards him, then took the phone from him.
"Thanks." she said.
Everyone turned and went back to work, Reese and Bob turned to each other.
"Hello?" she said, putting it by her ear. "Mel?"
"Who'd you think it is?" Bob asked.
"The girl wouldn't say, but she said it was important." Reese said. "Wonder why she wants her through instead of some other photographer?"
The woman gasped slightly as someone spoke on the other end of the phone.
"You sure about that?" she asked.
She listened to the person on the other end.
"Okay... I think I know how to handle this." the woman explained. "But I'll need your help. Here's what we do."
In Turtle Cove park the next morning, Karen Costa was drawing a picture of a large tree with a treehouse in in her sketchbook, when a yellow rover pulled up nearby, then Sally Mitchell got out, wearing her Lightspeed jacket. She then walked towards Karen, who was tying to keep her mind busy while hoping Princess Shayla was okay.
"You Karen Costa?" Sally asked.
Karen turned to the girl in shock, but didn't recognize her at all.
"Who are you?" she asked, getting up. "And how do you know who I am?"
"Sally Mitchell, Lightspeed Rescue Purple Ranger." Sally explained.
She held up her wrist, showing her morpher.
"I need you come with me." Sally explained. "It's important...for the sake of everything on the planet."
Karen looked confused, but closed up her sketchbook.
"Right. Let me call my teammates?" Karen asked.
She reached in for her Growl Phone, but Sally grabbed her hand.
"I just need you." Sally explained. "I'll explain on the way."
Karen looked at her confused, before they both walked towards the rover, which was the Rescue Rover.
"Same team as Carter, aren't you?" Karen asked, as they got in.
"Yeah." Sally said, as they strapped in.
Soon, Sally pulled the car over near a beach, seeing the Time Ship on it. Karen smiled and got out, as Paige Tanner - wearing her Time Force uniform - got out of the Time Ship and ran towards them both.
"Paige." Karen said, high-fiving her.
"Karen, good to see you again." Paige smirked, as Sally approached them. "You too, Sally."
Karen turned to Sally, who smiled.
"I see you've already met Paige, Orange Time Force Ranger?" Sally noted.
"Yeah, I have." Karen assured. "I take it you travelled on your Time Ship again."
"Yep." Paige nodded. "By myself this time. When Wes contacted me, he told me I had to come alone and meet you two here."
"Wait, so it's just the three of us?" Karen questioned.
"Not quite." Sally said.
Two blue cars both pulled up behind them all, then Sally turned around, as Karen and Paige turned slightly. They stared at them, as Mel - now in civilian clothes - get out of one of the cars, who then approached them.
"That's the Orange Space Ranger; Melanie Forrester." Sally explained.
Mel shook her hand. "Please? Everyone calls me Mel." she said, shaking Paige's hand.
She then shook Karen's, then turned around, as Vera LeClerc got out of the other car and approached them.
"And this is Vera LeClerc; the Purple Zeo Ranger." she explained, pointing at her.
"Glad you could all make it." Vera said, wearing a purple shirt with a white jacket.
She shook Karen's hand, then backed away.
"Is this all then?" Karen asked.
"No." Vera said. "Our leader should be here in a minute."
"Leader?" Karen questioned.
They all turned as a black car pulled over nearby, then the blonde-haired woman from the Newspaper, who was wearing a black leather jacket, an orange chequered shirt, and the same sunglasses, got out. She walked towards the five girls, then took her sunglasses off, revealing herself to be Sophie Davis.
"Who's she?" Karen asked quietly.
"That's Sophie, the Orange Mighty Morphin' Ranger." Vera explained. "She's served longer than any of us."
Paige whistled impressively.
"Thanks for coming here on short notice everyone." Sophie said, putting her sunglasses away.
Mel moved to stand on her left, as the others stared at her.
"So, why the call Soph?" Vera asked. "I mean, why'd you call us all here."
"Well...to be honest, Mel knows about this more than me." Sophie began. "She's found the remaining members of the Evil Space Pirates of the Lost Galaxy."
"But I thought they were all left there after Terra Venture escaped that place?" Sally swore, having heard about it from the Galaxy Rangers.
"So did I." Mel sighed. "But it turns out they followed the ship through the portal, but where then destroyed."
"Most of them anyway." Sophie sighed, as she walked off slightly. "The survivors have all regrouped and are massing an a distant island, preparing...to enslave the world."
She stopped and turned to the others.
"Enslave the planet?" Karen inquired. "Well, how are we suppose to stop them before they get here."
"I've got that covered." Mel assured.
She turned around, as a motorboat turned visible on the water near the beach.
"I put a cloaking device into that motorboat to hide it." Mel explained. "It's only temporally though, since I'm burrowing it."
"So, that's how we'll get there?" Karen inquired.
"Yes." Mel said.
"Girls, this mission will be dangerous." Sophie warned. "So I'm not gonna force you to go. You can choose whether to go or not."
"I don't know anything about these Space Pirates, but if the Earth's being threatened, then I'll do whatever I can to protect it." Karen said.
"Same for me, even if I'm not from this time." Paige said, nodding.
"It's not even a question, Soph." Vera smiled.
"You can count me in." Sally said. "I'm not gonna let someone enslave the world."
"My vote makes it unanimous." Mel smiled.
"Let's do it then." Sophie said.
All six girls smiled and moved towards the motorboat, then Sally took the controls and moved it away from the beach and out into the ocean.
"Where'd you learn to man one of these?" Paige inquired. "I thought you were a air-woman, not a frog-woman."
Sally turned to her slightly. "When your base is underwater, you have to learn to use all modes of water transport." she answered.
"Okay, fair enough." Paige said.
"You're a pilot?" Karen inquired.
"Air-Sea Rescue Pilot." Sally answered. "Help rescue those lost at sea and all that."
"You'd get along great with Taylor then, if that's the case." Karen thought.
Far away from Earth, on the planet of Mirinoi, Gwen Tracy - wearing her GSA uniform - walked towards the stone with the Quasar Sabers in. She heard from Mel about Barbarax's survival, and was ready to join the battle to stop him. Once she got close to the stone, she grabbed her saber, then pulled it out of the stone and turned around.
"Never thought I'd be wielding this again." she sighed. "But still, I know what we're up against compared to the rest."
She turned and began to run off into the jungle, ready to help Mel, Sally and the other Orange and Purple Rangers.
Meanwhile, on Aquitar, Vivianne was staring at her planet's beauty in her chamber, when Cestria came over to her.
"You're going to help your fellow Rangers, right?" Cestria asked.
"Yes, Cestria." Vivianne said, turning to her, as she'd been told by Mel she was needed.
"Well, Billy has a favour to ask you." Cestria explained. "He wants you to say 'hi' to Vera and Sophie."
"I'll tell them both." Vivianne assured. "Now, it's time for me to go."
Cestria nodded.
Back on Earth, the motorboat had now stopped in the middle of the ocean, as all the Rangers met up in the crew's compartment. All but Mel sat down around a small table, just as Mel came over to it.
"I contacted Gwen on Mirinoi and Vivianne on Aquitar." she explained, as she sat down. "They both said they'll join us as soon as they can."
"Okay." Sophie said.
"More Rangers?" Karen inquired.
"The Orange Aquitan Ranger and Purple Galaxy Ranger." Mel explained. "Gwen's dealt with what we're up against, so she'll come in handy."
"And in more than just that." Sally added.
"How so?" Karen inquired, curiously.
"She's a Medical Officer in the Galactic Space Alliance." Mel explained. "It's a Military branch that left Earth with the space colony Terra Venture to explore the galaxy."
"She and her team often had to defend it from all sorts of attacks, including from these Space Pirates." Sally explained.
"Oh, right." Karen said. "I'll have to ask Taylor about it, since she was Military before."
"Okay. Let's get started." Sophie said.
She took a remote out from her pocket, then pressed a button on it, bringing up a hologram recording Mel had taken from the Island.
"Now, from what Mel's told me, these pirates once resided on a planet far away from here, under the leadership of Capt. Mutiny." Sophie began.
The hologram showed up, Barbarax and several Swabbies with slaves on their planet.
"They captured spaceships and made the occupants his slaves." she continued.
"Slaves?" Karen gulped.
"Gwen told me she and her team saw the camp themselves." Mel explained. "How'd you think I got this footage."
The others stared at the footage, seeing thousands of humans slaving away in the ground with shovels and pickaxes, with skeletons lying among them, shocking all but Sophie and Mel.
"That's horrible." Vera gulped.
"No one should live like that!" Karen cried, tears in her eyes.
Sally and Paige both nodded in agreement.
"Gwen and her team found out when they got stuck in the galaxy Capt. Mutiny belonged too." Mel explained. "They weren't happy themselves with what they saw. They were eventually able to escape for the galaxy, taking all the slaves with them."
The hologram showed the Galaxy Rangers helping the slaves onboard the Astro Megaship.
"However, Capt. Mutiny wasn't gonna let that happen." Sophie continued. "So he and his followers all followed after them onboard their floating castle."
The hologram showed Capt. Mutiny's castle chasing the Megaship away from the planet.
"But once through the portal, Trakeena destroyed them, as she wanted to destroy Terra Venture herself." Sophie said.
The hologram showed Capt. Mutiny's castle coming out of the portal, before the Scorpion Stinger dug its tentacles into it. It then flew away from the castle, before it blew up.
"Or at least most of them. The survivors have all managed to make their way to Earth, and are on this island, under the command of Barbarax." Sophie finished.
"So, if they're on this island, how come they haven't tried to enslave the world yet?" Paige inquired.
"That...I don't know." Sophie said.
"From what I saw through, they seemed to be building something." Mel recalled. "And I overheard them saying they were close to finishing it."
"So, it's most likely a place for them to stay and observe, while keeping an eye on everyone while they slave away?" Vera deduced.
"Something like that." Mel said. "My guess is, Barbarax is trying to rebuild his Capt.'s empire."
"Then we have to stop them before they get off that island." Karen said. "Everyone on Earth's counting on us."
The others nodded in agreement.
"Until Gwen and Vivianne arrive, we'll have to do our best." Sophie said. "Once all eight of us arrive, we can put a stop to this Slave Empire."
The others nodded, understanding.
"Right. Our ETA at the island is another hour at least." Sophie said. "So, be prepared for anything when we get there."
"Right." Sally and Paige said.
"Understood." Vera said, as Karen and Mel nodded.
"Right. Well, that's all until we get there." Sophie said.
Everyone but herself and Vera left the room in the boat, leaving them both alone.
"How you doing?" Sophie asked.
"Fine." Vera assured.
"Your not still upset about the break-up with Rocky, are you?" Sophie asked.
Vera sighed, for she and Rocky had separated in the year 2000, after realizing they didn't have much in common.
"No, not really." Vera admitted. "Turns out my attraction to him was brotherly. He felt the same, so we made up and became friends again."
"I like that." Sophie said. "Since it worked out for Kim and Tommy, I'm glad it worked out for you."
"Thanks, Soph." Vera said.
"How's your work being going?" Sophie asked.
"Well, I've only worked in the Crime Lab for six months." Vera explained. "Not much has happened in that time, unlike your job."
"Very funny." Sophie scoffed, jokingly. "Listen, in case we have to split up into two teams, I want you to be in charge of Team 2, since after me, you're the most experienced."
"Understood." Vera said. "So, I guess this makes me second-in-command."
"Sort of." Sophie said. "Good thing I got my Power Morpher back and fully repaired, thanks to Alpha 7."
"Yeah, otherwise you'd be useless out there." Vera noted.
"Mm-mm." Sophie nodded.
On deck, Sally was steering the motorboat again, when Karen came towards her.
"You trust this Gwen?" Karen asked.
"Yes." Sally said. "I do. She knows these Pirates better than us."
"I get that, but...why can't she join us now?" Karen asked.
"Mirinoi is far away from Earth." Mel explained, coming towards them. "You can't expect her to get here quickly. Same for Vivianne on Aquitar."
Karen turned to her. "Okay." she understood. "Is this Mirinoi where this Terra Venture ended up landing."
"No." Sally said, shaking her head. "Trakeena went completely crazy once she saw it again, then attacked it with her own ship. This caused it to crash onto Mirinoi's Moon."
"They had to abandon the ship in order to save everyone, as the domes began to crack and could've crushed people." Mel finished sadly.
"I take it both your teams have teamed up with hers?" Karen assumed, due to the tone of their voices.
"Yeah." Mel and Sally said.
"My team went to Terra Venture to help Gwen's defeat some old foes of mine that had been revived." Mel explained.
"And she and her team all returned to Earth when they found out Trakeena had survived their final battle." Sally explained. "It was only with both our teams strengths was she finally destroyed for good."
Karen looked surprised from the explanation.
"So what do you do now when you're not called back into action, Mel?" she asked, changing the subject.
"I'm a substitute teacher at Angel Grove Elementary school." Mel explained. "It's always been my dream to help little kids, since I lost my parents so young and wasn't adopted until I was seven."
"Sounds a bit like what Cole went through." Karen said. "My team's Red Ranger. His parents were betrayed by a friend of theirs and...killed. He was left alone in the Jungle and raised by natives."
"Oh, I see." Mel understood. "That's worse than me."
"Brought up in the Jungle?" Sally inquired. "Sounds like Maya."
"Who's that?" Karen asked.
"The Yellow Ranger on Gwen's team." Mel explained. "And, well...Mirinoi's her home planet. So, she ended up back home when they finished their mission. It was hard for her to leave her home, but she had no choice, as it was turned to stone before their first battle."
"But was it purified afterwards, when they returned?" Karen asked, hopefully.
"From what we've heard, yeah." Mel assured.
She and Karen turned and walked off along the boat, as Sally kept steering the boat. They both then saw Paige staring at the ocean at the edge of the boat before they stopped.
"You okay?" Mel asked.
"Yeah, just...haven't found my sea-legs yet." Paige said, feeling sick. "I guess I'm used to being on the road or in the air from where I'm from."
"If you're seasick, you might wanna get back inside." Karen advised. "It's worse if you stay on deck."
"Good idea." Paige agreed.
She turned and walked past them both, then disappeared from deck.
"When I get back, I need to spend some time off near water." Paige thought.
Later, on the island, Barbarax, Fleatis, Bazkoon and Malletmon all walked past some trees, staring at the ship in the distance.
"Barbarax, everything on the ship is ready for take-off." Fleatis explained.
"Good, Fleatis." Barbarax said. "Finally, we can carry on your legacy, Capt. Mutiny. Let us begin our enslavement of this planet."
Barbarax, Fleatis, Bazkoon and Malletron all turned left and began to walk off, when a few blasts hit a few Swabbies nearby, knocking them down.
"What the?" Barbarax gasped, as they turned left.
They all saw the six Rangers running towards them, as Sally and Paige both put away their blasters.
"Who are all you?" Barbarx roared.
"You're worst nightmare." Vera retorted, folding her arms.
"We're not gonna let you enslave this planet!" Karen yelled, pointing at him.
A bunch of Swabbies showed up behind the four monsters.
"We'll see about that!" Barbarax smirked. "Swabbies, attack!"
The Swabbies all charged forward.
"Let's do it!" Sophie said.
The Rangers all charged back at the Swabbies, then began to fight them. Mel dodged as one tried to slash her with its sword, then she got behind it and kicked it in the back, while Sally blocked ones kick with her forearm, then punched it in the chest. Sophie ducked as a third tried to slice her with its sword, then she spun around and tackled it, while Karen rolled forward to dodge a fourth's sword, then she got up and grabbed its arm, then flipped it onto its back. Paige ducked as a fifth tried to slice her, then she elbowed it in the chest, then got behind it and chopped it in the back, as Vera punched a sixth in the chest, then turned and blocked a seventh's kick with her leg.
Mel dodged as one tried to slash her in the chest, then she spun around and kicked it in the back, knocking it down. She then kicked another's sword away as it tried to stab her, then she kicked it in the chest, knocking it onto another two, causing them to fall down. She then ducked as a third tried to stab her, then she punched it in the belly, knocking it back, then the she kicked it in the chest, sending it flying away into a wall, knocking it out cold.
Vera ducked and rolled past one as it tried to slash her with its sword, then she kneed it in the chest, and then she chopped it in the back, knocking it down. She then sent a kick at another, but missed as it ducked, then she backed away as it tried to slash her, then she grabbed its forearm, then pulled on it, flipping it onto its back. She then did two backwards handsprings to dodge a third's sword as it tried to stab her, she then back flipped away to dodge a fourth as it tried to slash her, then she jumped and split kicked them both, knocking them down.
Sophie blocked a punch from one with her forearm, then she kicked it in the chest, then spun around and tackled another two. She then dodged as one tried to kick her, then blocked a third's kick with her hand, before she spun around to dodge a stab from the second. She then kicked the third in the chest, knocking it down, then she grabbed the second's forearm as it tried to stab her, then she pulled its arm down, flipping it onto its back. She then turned as a fourth came at her, then she did three backwards handsprings away from it as it tried to stab her, then she kicked its sword out of its hand, then spun around and tackled it.
Sally dodged as one tried to stab her with its sword, then she grabbed its arm, then elbowed it in the chest while swiping the sword from it, then she kicked it in the chest, knocking it down. She then blocked another's sword with it, then turned and blocked a third's with it, then slashed it down the chest with her sword, then turned and slashed the second across the chest with it. She then hit a fourth in the chest with the butt of her sword, then she spun around and tackled it, knocking it down, then she rolled past a fifth as he tried to slash her, before she slashed it upwards across the back while getting up, knocking it down.
Paige dived forward, then brought out her Chrono Blaster and fired it twice, hitting two in the chest, knocking them down. She then turned, then rolled away as a third tried to slash her, then she spun around and tackled it. She then ducked as a fourth tried to slash her, then she punched it in the belly, making it fall to its knees, then she rested her blaster on it and fired it four times, hitting another four in the chest.
Karen dodged and spun around as one tried to stab her, then she elbowed it in the back, then spun around and tackled it. She then turned and kicked another in the side as it came at her, then she punched it in the belly, making it fall to its knees, then she elbowed it in the back, knocking it down. She then spun around past a third as it tried to stab her, then she kicked it in the back, knocking it onto its chest. She then turned and saw Barbarax, Fleatis, Bazkoon and Malletmon all walking away from the battle.
"Time to board the ship." Barbarax said.
"No!" Karen gasped. "Guys, they're getting away!"
The other girls all turned, seeing Barbarax, Fleatis, Bazkoon and Malletmon all walking towards the ship.
"Come on!" Sophie said. "We can't let them escape!"
The Rangers all began to run after the four monsters, as they got closer to the ship, which resembled a real life Pirate ship.
"Stop right there!" Karen yelled.
Barbarax and his henchmen all turned around.
"You fools!" Barbarax snarled. "You should've stayed out of this!"
The Rangers all stopped and stared at him and his henchmen.
"When anyone like you threatens this planet, we'll never stay out of it!" Sophie retorted, pointing at him.
"Oh, really? Bazkoon, fire!" Barbarax ordered.
"Yes, sir." Bazkoon said.
He put his hands on his shoulder cannons, then fired them both, creating explosions on the ground around the Rangers.
"AGHH!" they moaned.
Sophie and Karen go flying forward, followed by Mel and Paige, then Vera and Sally, then they all hit the ground on their chests, expect Vera who hits it on her back.
"Perhaps we should destroy you after all before leaving to enslave your planet!" Barbarax snarled.
He and his henchmen laughed as they all began to approach the Rangers.
The Rangers all stared at them, when purple laser blasts hit the four of them.
"AH!" they moaned.
They all fell down onto their backs, expect Fleatis who flipped backwards onto this chest.
"OH!" they moaned.
The Rangers all turned right slightly, seeing a morphed Gwen flying towards them all on her Jet Jammer.
"Hold it right there!" she yelled.
The others all got up as she flew her Jet Jammer towards the ground, then she jumped off it, as the monsters stared at her.
"Is that..?" Karen asked, as the Rangers got up.
"Yep." Mel said, as Sally nodded, since they were the only two who recognized her.
Gwen landed crouched down, then got up and de-morphed, then turned around as the others all ran towards her.
"Gwen, nice timing." Mel commented.
Gwen smiled as they high-fived each other, then Sally patted her arm.
"Good to see you again." Sally said.
"Thanks. I got here as soon as I could, girls." Gwen assured.
"Better late than never." Sophie assured.
"Nothing for me, eh?" a voice called.
The seven girls all turned around, as a orange streak of light dash towards them all, before it stopped near them, showing it was Vivianne.
"Vivianne!" Vera gasped.
Vivianne turned to them all.
"I hope I'm not too late, girls." she said.
"No. You made it just in time." Vera assured.
Vivianne nodded. "Billy says 'Hi' to you and Sophie by the way, Vera." she said.
Sophie and Vera smiled, glad to hear from their brainy friend on Aquitar.
"Who's Billy?" Karen asked.
"Tell you later." Vera promised.
Barbarax and his henchmen all got up and ran towards the Rangers.
"Rangers!" he yelled.
All eight Rangers formed a line, staring at him and his three henchmen, who stopped and stared at him. They stood from left to right, Vivianne, Mel, Paige, Sophie, Karen, Vera, Sally and Gwen.
"You!" Barbarax yelled, pointing at Gwen.
"That's right, Barbarax!" Gwen said. "And you're not gonna enslave this planet, like you did to all those people on your Boss's planet!"
"We'll see about that!" Barbarax roared. "I'm not gonna let eight girls stop me?!"
"We'll see about that. You girls ready?" Sophie asked, raising her left arm up.
"Ready!" the others said - expect Vivianne.
"It's morphin time!" Sophie shouted, bringing out her Power Morpher.
She pushed it forward, then twisted it around.

"Camptosaurus!" Sophie shouted, morphing up.

"Mighty Morphin Orange Ranger!" Sophie shouted, doing her fight pose.
"It's morphin time!" Vera shouted.
She then twisted her arms and brought out her Zeonizer. She then lifted her arms, and then twisted her left arm upwards, and then crossed her right arms over her left.

"Zeo Ranger V Purple!" Vera shouted.
She then lowered her arms, and was then covered in her suit.

"Purple Zeo Ranger!" Vera shouted, doing her fight pose.
"Let's Rocket!" Mel shouted.

She opened her morpher up, and began pressing buttons on it.
"3,3,5!"
She then hit enter, and the lights beside the numbers lit up.
Mel then morphed into her Ranger suit, as she spun around as the words 'Morphing Complete' came up, and then her helmet symbol glowed.

"Orange Space Ranger!" Mel shouted, doing her fight pose.
"Go Galactic!" Gwen shouted.

Gwen morphed into her suit, as her rocks hovered behind her, and her panther's eyes lit up. She pulled her fingers back against the palms of her hands as purple lighting came out of them, then lowered them over her face, putting her helmet on, and then the visor closed.

"Galaxy Purple!" Gwen shouted, clawing at the ground, then doing her fight pose.
"Lightspeed Rescue!" Sally shouted.

Sally opened up her morpher, then she held her arms out as her shield came out, then she lowered her arms as her shield went over her, morphing her up. Her gas mask then came up, then her visor close, as the Lightspeed symbol flashes behind her.

"Purple Lightspeed Ranger!" Sally shouted, saluting, before doing her fight pose.
"Time for Time Force!" Paige shouted.

Paige pressed the button on her morpher, then lowered her arms down as her endless tunnel of numbers came behind her. Her DNA stand went over her, before her lighting color shattered it, then she morphed up and did her pose.

"Time Force Orange!" Paige shouted, doing her fight pose.
Karen brought out and opened up her Growl Phone, then held it up and pressed the button on it .
"Wild Access!" she shouted.
She then put it to her ear.

Karen's Growl Phone shattered into her, then her Hawk Wildzord roared as her helmet went over her.

"Purple Wild Force Ranger!" Karen shouted, doing her fight pose.
"Orange Alien Ranger!" Vivianne shouted, doing her fight pose.
"Alright, girls, let's do it!" Sophie yelled.
The four monsters stared at the Rangers, as two clouds of smoke went off behind them, one purple, one orange - behind the respective Rangers.
"Give it your best shot, girls?!" Barbarax dared, holding his fist up.
"Alright, everyone, we're here to stop them from enslaving the Earth." Karen said, touching her heart. "Let's stop them once and for all!"
She pointed at Barbarax and his henchmen, who then charged at the Rangers, who charged back at them.
Sophie sent a kick at Barbarax, who dodged it, then he tried to slash Karen with his axe, but missed as she ducked. Karen then kicked him in the arm slightly, then Sophie rolled past him, then kicked him slightly in the belly.
Vera and Paige both rolled past Malletmon as he tried to whack them with a mallet, before he turned to them. He then tried to whack Vera with it, but missed as she ducked, then Paige sent a punch at him, but he blocked it with his forearm.
Vivianne and Gwen both sent a slash at Fleatis with their sabers, but missed as he rolled back. He then sent a kick at Gwen, who blocked it with her saber, then Vivianne spun around to slash him, but he blocked it with his forearm.
Mel dodged as Bazkoon tried to whack her in the chest, then Sally kicked him in the arm, making him turn to her. He then sent a punch at Sally, but she blocked it with her hands, then Mel came up behind him, then tried to kick him as he turned around, but he knocked her foot away with his own.
Karen jumped and tried to kick Barbarax with both feet, but he held his axe up, blocking her feet, making her back flip away. She then tried to kick him, but he blocked it with his hand, then he slashed her across the chest with his axe.
"AGH!" Karen moaned, falling onto her right side.
Barbarax stared at her, before he turned as Sophie jumped and punched him in the chest, knocking him back slightly. She then jumped and kicked him with both feet, sending him flying away, hitting the ground on his back.
Sophie turned around to Karen, who pulled herself up, clutching her chest.
"Impressive." Karen admitted.
"Stay back, kid. I'll show you how it's done!" Sophie said, charging forward.
"Kid?" Karen questioned, annoyed.
Sophie dodged as Barbarax tried to slash her with his axe, then she spun around and elbowed him in the chest, knocking him back. She then kicked him in the chest, then jumped as he tried to slash her in the legs with his axe, before she kicked him with both feet, knocking him back. She then jumped and dived towards him, punching him with both fists, knocking him back, then she jumped slightly and kicked him in the chest, sending him flying away.
"AGH!" Barbarax yelled, as she landed on the ground.
"Go for it, rookie." Sophie said, doing her fight pose.
"Incredible." Karen said, impressed, before charging forward.
Paige dodged as Malletmon tried to whack her with his mallet, then she slashed him slightly with her Chrono Saber, holding it in double blade mode. Vera then came up and kicked him in the chest, knocking him back slightly. Paige then tried to slash him, but missed as he spun around and backed away, then Vera sent a punch at him, but he blocked at with his mallet.
"Oh!" Vera moaned, stumbling back, shaking her hand.
Paige tried to slash Malletmon with her saber, but he blocked it with his mallet, then she spun around and backed away to dodge a whack from his mallet. She then sent a slash at him, but missed as he dodged, but then Vera came over and kicked him in the side, knocking him away.
"Oh!" he moaned, stumbling away.
He then turned to Vera, who jumped up and corkscrew kicked him in the chest, knocking him away, before he hit the ground on his chest.
"AH!" he moaned.
Paige then ran closer to him, then stopped as he pulled himself up and looked at her.
"Wha?" he gasped.
The green lines on the black parts of Paige's helmet, then she held up her sabers up in double blade mode, holding it so the long end was up diagonally to her left.
"Your time's up!" she declared, running her left hand along the end of it.
The saber lit it up as lighting hit both ends of it, then she spun it around while putting it in her left hand, holding it longways. She then spun it around slightly, before slashing Malletmon downwards diagonally from her right, then slashed it up from her left in the same direction.
"AGHH!" he moaned, as sparks came out of him.
Paige and Vera both turned around as he fell onto his back, and then blew up.
"Wahoo!" Paige whooped.
"All right!" Vera cheered, as they turned to each other. "Nice work."
"Same here." Paige joked, as they bumped fists together.
Gwen sent a slash at Fleatis with her saber, but missed as he rolled forward, then he sent a kick at Vivianne, who blocked it with her hands. She then tried to punch him, but missed as he dodged, then he turned and ducked as Gwen tried to slash him again. Both Rangers gathered together, then Vivianne brought out her saber, and her wrist knuckle.
"Together!" Vivianne yelled.
"Right!" Gwen said.
They both charged forward, then Vivianne tried to slash Fleatis with her saber, but missed as he dodged, then he rolled past them both as Gwen tried to slash him with hers. He got up and turned to them both, then charged at them, then Gwen tried to stab him with her saber, but he grabbed the end of it, then kicked her in the chest, knocking her back.
"Uh!" she moaned.
Vivianne then charged at Fleatis, then slashed him down the chest slightly with her saber, then she punched him in the jaw with her wrist knuckle, knocking him up into the air.
"AGHH!" he yelled.
Vivianne then jumped up after him, then slashed him down the back with her saber, causing him to fall down towards the ground.
"AHH!" he yelled, before hitting the ground. "OH!"
Gwen held her saber up in front of her, then her arms slightly, before grabbing her saber with both hands, holding it to her right as purple beams went into it.
"Uh-oh." Fleatis gulped, getting back up as he turned to her.
"Goodbye!" Gwen said, as she twisted her saber as it lit up.
She then slashed Fleatis across with it from right to left.
"AGHH!" he moaned, as sparks came out of him.
Gwen then turned around and did her fight pose as Fleatis fell onto his back, and then blew up, just as Vivianne landed beside her.
"Nice moves." Vivianne admitted, putting her saber away.
"Back at you." Gwen commented, as they linked their hands together.
Bazkoon fired both his shoulder cannons at Mel and Sally, but missed as they both dived away, Sally to her right, Mel to her left. Mel then brought out her Astro Blaster and fired it at him, then Sally jumped up and brought out her Rescue Blaster, and then fired it, both hitting him at the same time.
"AGH!" Bazkoon moaned, falling to his knees.
Mel got up and ran forward, as Sally landed on the ground crouched down, then Bazkoon got up and fired at them.
"You're going down, Rangers!" he yelled.
He fired his shoulder cannons at both Rangers, who jumped and fired their blasters at him, missing him slightly. Mel then dived down and rolled along the ground, then fired her blaster at him. He spun around and dodged the blast, then fired both his cannons as Sally dived down, hitting her in the chest.
"AGHH!" she moaned.
She spun around backwards through the air, before hitting the ground on her chest.
"OH!" she moaned.
Bazkoon turned and fired at Mel, who rolled to her left and then hid behind a rock, as he kept firing, pinning her down.
"OH!" she moaned.
Sally pulled herself up, then saw Bazkoon firing at Mel, which made her gasp.
"Ah!" she gasped.
She brought out her Thermo Blaster, then ran towards a rock on her left, then hid behind it, holding both her blasters. She then aimed them both as Bazkoon kept firing, keeping Mel pinned down, then she fired them both, hitting his back.
"AGHH!" he yelped.
He turned around, just as Mel got up and jumped over the rock she was behind, then she jumped up and kicked him in the back with both feet, knocking him onto his chest.
"OH!" he moaned.
Mel jumped over him, then landed and rolled along the ground as Sally ran towards her. Mel then stopped and touched around while crouched down, as Sally stopped beside her, aiming all three of their blasters.
"Goodbye!" Sally said.
Bazkoon pulled himself up, before both girls fired all their blasters together, hitting him repeatedly all over.
"AGHH! AGH! AH!" he moaned.
Both girls kept firing at him, until lighting began to come out of him. They both then turned around and held their blasters up, Sally crossing hers over, while Mel held her left hand out, then Bazkoon fell onto his chest and blew up behind them. The girls both put their blasters away and turned to each other.
"Nice shooting." Mel remarked, as they shook hands.
"You're not too bad yourself, for a schoolteacher." Sally joked.
Karen somersaulted through the air and stabbed Barbarax in the chest with her Hawk Daggers, knocking him back.
"OH!" he moaned.
Sophie then charged at him with her Power Claw, then ran past him while slashing him across the chest with it. They then turned to each other, then Sophie slashed him down the chest with her claw, then ran past him again and slashed him with it, before she turned and kicked him in the back.
"AH!" he moaned, stumbling forward.
Karen then jumped up into the air, then spread her wings out, then pulled her legs back and kicked Barbarax with both feet, sending him flying away.
"AGHH!" he moaned.
He went flying away, then hit the ground on his chest, as Karen landed on her feet.
"OH!" he moaned.
"Time to finish this!" Sophie declared, clutching her fist.
Barbarax growled, then turned around, as all eight Rangers surrounded him, then all but Karen brought out blaster weapons.
"Blade Blaster!" Sophie shouted, holding it up.
"Aquitian Laser!" Vivianne shouted.
"Laser Pistol!" Vera shouted.
"Astro Blaster!" Mel shouted.
"Quasar Launcher!" Gwen shouted, resting it on her shoulder.
"Thermo Blaster, Hyper Mode!" Sally shouted.
"V6!" Paige shouted.
"Oh, boy..." Karen muttered, since she didn't have anything like that.
"Fire!" Sophie yelled.
The Rangers - expect Karen - all fired their weapons at Barbarax, hitting him all over, making sparks come out of him.
"AGHH!" he moaned.
An explosion went off near him, seemingly destroying him in a puff of smoke, then the Rangers all gathered together.
"All right!" Paige whooped.
"We did it!" Mel whooped.
"Let's hope he's gone for good." Gwen said.
"I don't think so!" Barbarax roared.
The Rangers all turned to him as he got up, then he raised his axe up.
"He's still alive?!" Sally exclaimed.
"Time for you to pay!" Barbarax declared.
"Uh-oh!" Gwen gulped, recognizing the move. "Everyone, move!"
She spoke too late however, as Barbarax rammed his axe down on to the ground, creating a crevice along it, which knocked the Rangers down onto either side of it - the Purple Rangers on his left, the Orange Rangers on his right.
"AGH!" they moaned, hitting the ground on their backs.
Barbarax turned around and ran off towards his ship, as all eight Rangers looked up at him.
"NOOO!" Karen yelled, getting up.
The others got up, then all eight of them ran forward.
In the ship, Barbarax approached the wheel, then grabbed it.
"You've lost, Rangers!" he declared. "I'll take my ship and enslave the planet, even if I have to do it on my own for a while!"
The Rangers kept running forward, when the ship began to take off, making them stop.
"He's taking off!" Sally exclaimed.
"Oh, man... It's bigger than I thought." Mel gulped.
The ship slowly flew up into the sky, as all eight Rangers stared at it.
"Oh, no!" Vera gasped.
"He's gonna get away!" Gwen gasped.
"We've gotta stop him!" Paige said.
"And fast, before he gets away!" Sally realized.
"I'll get him!" Karen said.
She ran off, then jumped up and spread her wings out, then flew after the ship.
"Karen, no!" Mel cried.
"Are you crazy?!" Sally yelled.
"Karen, get back here!" Sophie demanded.
"It's too dangerous!" Vivianne yelled.
Karen flew up and landed on the ship, getting Barbarax to turn to her.
"What the?!" he gasped.
"I won't let you enslave this planet!" Karen vowed, pointing at him.
"We'll see about that!" Barbarax roared, bringing his axe out.
He charged at Karen, who brought out her Hawk Daggers and charged at him. He blocked Karen's daggers with his axe as she tried to slash him with them both, then he kicked her in the chest, knocking her back.
"Uh!" she moaned.
She looked up at him, then looked around the bridge, seeing the wheel was connected to something below deck.
"Of course." she thought. "That might just work."
She rolled to her right as Barbarax tried to slash her with his axe, she then ran towards the wheel, then turned once in front of it.
(Outside)
The other Rangers all looked up at the ship.
"I hope she knows what she's doing." Sophie gulped.
"That makes two of us." Gwen said.
"Karen, get outta there!" Paige yelled.
(Inside)
Karen and Barbarax glared at each other, then Karen turned slightly to the wheel, then back to him.
"Come on and get me, spikey!" she dared.
"I'll destroy you first, then your friends!" Barbarax roared, spinning his axe around.
He charged at Karen, then sent a slash at her with his axe, but missed as she rolled to her left, making him hit the wheel.
"NOOO!" he roared.
Karen rolled away as he pulled his axe back, and then he turned to her.
"You fool! What have you done?!" he demanded.
"Making sure you don't win!" Karen retorted, backing away.
Barbarax grabbed the wheel, but it snapped off.
"AGH!" he growled, dropping it.
He turned to Karen, who turned around and ran off.
"You won't get away!" he roared. "We'll both be destroyed with this thing!"
"We'll see about that!" Karen shouted, as she stopped and turned around. "I'll say 'hi' to Gwen for you. So happy landing!"
"NOOOOO!" Barbarax yelled.
Karen jumped up and off the ship, as sparks came out all over it.
"NOOOOOOOOOO!" Barbarax cried. "I've failed you, Capt.!"
The ship then blew up, making the other Rangers turn away, Gwen, Sophie and Mel all with their arms over their visors.
"Oh, no!" Paige gasped.
"Where's Karen?" Vera gasped. "I can't see her?"
The seven Rangers all looked around, before Mel spotted something swooping down towards them.
"There!" she said, pointing up.
The others turned, and saw Karen swooping down towards them on her wings.
"She made it!" Sally whooped, jumping up.
"All right!" Paige cheered, pulling her fists down.
"Nice work!" Vera commented.
"We did it, guys!" Karen whooped, as she landed on the ground.
The others all ran towards her.
"Yeah!" Gwen and Paige whooped.
"All right!" Vivianne and Mel cheered.
"Aha!" Vera laughed.
"Whoo!" Sally whooped.
They all gathered around Karen, then Sally and Mel both patted her shoulders.
"I gotta admit, pretty impressive, Karen." Sophie commented, touching her shoulder.
"Thanks." Karen blushed, embarrassed.
Later, at sunset, the Rangers all gathered together in a circle at the beach near the Time Ship, Gwen's Jet Jammer being parked near it, as it was her ride back to Mirinoi. The only one not there was Vivianne, who had gone back to Aquitar to rehydrate, as she'd used up most of her reserves during the battle, and was afraid the water around the island was infected and wouldn't work, which Vera had to explain to the others, as she knew Vivianne best.
"Thank you, girls." Sophie said. "You've all done a great service to the Universe for what we did today."
"Don't mention it, Soph." Vera smiled. "Glad to help."
"We are were." Karen nodded.
They put their hands out on top of each other, then Mel put hers on Karen's, followed by Sally, then Sophie herself, then Gwen, and then Paige. Gwen then nodded, followed by Paige, Vera, Karen, Mel, Sally, and then Sophie herself.
"This is goodbye for now." Sophie said. "May the power protect you all."
They all pulled their hands back, then Sophie turned around and walked towards her car, as the others all stared at her.
"So that's Sophie." Karen smirked. "So really is one of the greatest Rangers out there."
The others all laughed, as Sophie got into her car.
"Yeah, right?" Gwen scoffed.
"Very funny." Mel smirked.
"What?" Karen asked. "What's the deal?"
"Hey, we've all done amazing things, Karen." Sally teased.
"Yeah. I mean, after all, I was Sophie's personal replacement." Vera explained.
"Hey, what about me? I mean, I discovered a whole other galaxy out there." Gwen recalled, referring to the Lost Galaxy Barbarax came from. "She hardly left the planet."
"And I helped saved the Universe from an Alliance of evil forces." Mel recalled, referring to the Alliance of Evil. "That's nothing compared to her."
"Hey, I helped clear a innocent friend's name." Paige recalled, remembering recording Ransik's confession involving her friend Dr. Scales. "Not to mention changed history slightly during my time here."
"She never cured a city full of sick people." Sally said, remember Scorponok's virus posioning Mariner Bay. "I did that while infected myself."
"Wait, have I ever told you all, about the time I got my mind swapped with a robot?" Vera asked, remembering when Mastique switched bodies with her.
"Yeah!" the others scoffed, expect Karen.
They all turned and walked away slightly.
"Hey, it's true." Vera assured. "I got my mind switched as King Mondo wanted to destroy the team from the inside out."
"Oh, yeah, right." Paige scoffed.
Gwen walked towards her Jet Jammer, as Sally approached Karen.
"Come on. I'll give you a lift back to Turtle Cove." Sally said.
"Thanks." Karen said, as they both approached the Rescue Rover.
Mel walked over to her car, as Paige approached the Time Ship, then Vera sighed annoyed and walked towards her car, all ready to go back home, wherever or whenever it was.
A/N: I've decided to change Sophie's dinosaur, since I've discovered it was very, very tiny, which at the time I didn't know. So, before I start Ninja Storm, I'll be editing her stories slightly.
I broke Vera and Rocky up off-screen because of what someone told me about future appearances, which I'm forced to agree with, since it might involve children of Rangers, like JJ Oliver.
I didn't bring Robo Mel as back the Purple Turbo Ranger for this because it would've made the numbers uneven for the pairing fights, as well as the colors.
Fleatis, Malletmon and Bazkoon are unused Gingaman monsters Rigurou, Bammers, and Bazoogas respectfully.
