"The wolf thought to himself, what a tender young creature.

What a nice plump mouthful..."

- The Brothers Grimm, 1812"

Detective Tala Lahote was riding through town on her motorcycle until she spotted a fellow detective, Hank Griffin, and pulled up to him. She turned off her motorcycle and put the stand down before taking off her helmet.

"Hey, Hank," She said to him, "Care to explain why you are across the street from a jewelry store?"

Hank smiled and said, "It's Nick. He's getting a ring so he can propose to Juliette." He then spots Nick coming out of the store and grabs the camera, "And here he comes," and takes a picture of him.

"Hank, what are you doing?" Nick asked.

"Testing out the new equipment and getting a picture of you while you're still young and innocent," Hank answered with a grin.

"Oh, well, I am getting married once, not four times." Nick shot back.

"Oh, you're a "happily ever after" guy?" Hank asked.

"Oh, yeah. He's a real Prince Charming," Tala teased.

The three of them hear a woman laugh. They looked across the street and saw a beautiful blonde woman talking with her friend, who came out of a coffee shop.

"Detective, what are you looking at? You just bought a ring," Hank reminded, after seeing Nick eyeing the blonde woman.

"That's not what I'm looking at," Nick said as he shook his head.

"Come on, don't ruin it for me," Hank begged him.

"Now, she wears Armani, makes low six figures, drives a BMW, and is falling for a senior partner at her law firm. Nothing but trouble, Hank," Nick explained.

"Why can't you just look at her ass like the rest of us?" Hank questioned as he walked to the driver's side of the car.

"He can't," Tala said, she puts her helmet back on.

"Come on, guys, we have a call," Hank told them.

Tala noticed that her cousin had not taken his eyes off the blonde woman, but his demeanor changed, and is shocked. Tala looks over at the woman and sees that her appearance has changed. The woman's skin was decayed and her hair gray before her hair and skin returned to normal, and she continued walking away.

Once Nick was in the car, Hank drove off, and Tala followed them on her motorcycle to the crime scene. When they arrived at the scene, a forest ranger fills them in on what happened.

"The hiker flagged me down. He came through the ravine, said he saw something pretty bad. I didn't know what he was talking about, until he showed me this," The ranger explained, he pointed at a leg near a tree, "The rest of her is off-trail."

The ranger takes them to another area of the crime scene and tore pieces of clothing were everywhere.

"How do you know it's a "her"?" Nick asked.

"Because of this," The ranger shows them a pink Nike under a fern leaf.

"Women's Nike," Hank said.

"What kind of animal could do this?" Tala asked.

"Normally, we'd be able to tell by the tracks, a bear, cougar, wolf."

"Well, which one is it?" Hank asked.

"That's where this gets interesting," The ranger shows them a boot print under a fern leaf, "This is the only track we found."

"Hey, we got a boot print down here. We're going to need a cast," Nick called out.

"DNA will tell us if this is your case or ours," Hank said to the ranger before he, Nick, and Tala walked away.

"This sounds like what happened a month ago at Munson Creek Falls," Nick recalled.

"Same deal. Hiker and a bobcat," Hank said.

"But the bobcat wasn't wearing boots," Tala told them, she then hears music.

"Do you hear something?" Nick asked,

"What?"

"Music," He answered Hank, Nick walks past the crime scene tape, Hank and Tala followed him, "Hank, we got an iPod over here."

"What's the song?" Hank asked.

"Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics," Tala answered.

"One of their better," Hank smiled before signing, "Sweet dreams are made of these Who am I to disagree."

"I didn't know you couldn't sing," Nick joked as they stood up.

Tala got an evidence bag and put the iPod in before she, Nick, and Hank went back to the precinct.

"Until we get the DNA results, I'll run a database on violent predators in the area," Nick told them as they walked into the precinct and up the stairs.

"Better search beyond the metro," Hank suggested.

"We should also take another look at that Munson Creek Falls attack, maybe there's a connection," Tala said.

"You two will be busy. I'll take the iPod down for prints. Back in a minute," Hank takes the iPod from Tala and leaves.

Nick and Tala walk to their desks, but as they walk, Tala noticed her cousin was looking at a man sitting near another Detective's desk. The man briefly morphed into a reptilian form before returning to normal. Nick was so distracted that he bumped into Sergeant Wu.

"Whoa. Sorry, Nick. Guess I should have worn my airbags," Wu remarked.

"You okay, Nick?" Tala asked as they continued their walk.

"Yeah, yeah. Thought I just saw something," He answered.

When they reached their desks, Tala pulled up everything she could on the Munson Creek Falls case on her computer. A short while later, Hank was back and sat in his chair.

"I've got twenty-three known predators within five square miles of the crime. None of them rise to the kind of violence we saw out there this morning," Nick told them.

Hank's phone rings and he quickly answers. He hangs up and says, "Just got a hit on a missing person, University student went out jogging this morning and never came back."

Hank, Tala, and Nick left the precinct and drove to the University to speak with the roommate, Erin Thomas.

"She left at 7:30 this morning, and I'm a little freaked out because she's always back by 8:30," Erin explains worried.

"Do you have a photo of her?" Nick asked.

"On my iPhone," Erin nods before taking out her phone and showing them a picture.

"Do you know what kind of running shoes she was wearing?" Hank asked.

"Uh, pink Nikes," She replied.

The three detectives share a subtle look before Tala says, "Thank you for the information you've given us."

Back at the station, Tala was at her desk when her phone rings. She looked at the caller ID, "MK", before answering it.

"Hi, Marie," Tala greeted, "How are you doing?"

"I'm good at the moment. I just wanted to let you know that I'm at Nick's and the reaper hasn't caught me," Marie told her.

"Do you want me to tell Nick you're here?" She asked.

"No, I want to surprise him. You should come over, I have to tell you and Nick something."

"Sure. I'll figure out a way to let Nick have me over."

"Good," Maire said.

"There is also something else you should know. It's happening," Tala told her.

"I'll ask him when you two come home. See you later."

"See you later," Tala then hung up.

A while later, Nick sits at his desk and looks at a picture of Sylvie Oster, the victim, on his computer.

"Hard to believe that's the girl we saw this morning," He said.

"Sylvie Oster, positive I.D," Hank stated.

"Well, at least we know who she is. Man what a way to go," Nick comments.

"I just hope that she didn't suffer," Tala told them.

"Man, let's get the hell out of here," Hank said

"Yeah. It's been a long day," Nick picked up his jacket and the ring box fell out of the pocket onto the desk.

"Big night. Don't blow it, Romeo," Hank said as he picked it up and tossed it to Nick, who catches it.

"Hey, Nick. Can I follow you home?" Tala asked, "I just need to pick something up from Juliette."

"Sure. No problem," Nick replied.

Tala followed Nick on her motorcycle to his house and parked behind him on the side of the street. While Tala put the kickstand down and took off her helmet, Nick got out of his car. In the distance, they heard a dog barking before it yelps and whines before going silent.

Nick opened the door, showing the lights in the house were off, and called out, "Juliette?"

The two walk cautiously to the one place in the house where the lights were on: the kitchen. They looked into the kitchen and saw a bald woman in her early 50s cutting tomatoes. The woman turned around, allowing Nick and Tala to see her face and recognize her.

"Aunt Marie," Nick said and he, Tala, and Marie smiled. Tala stood at the archway while Nick walked into the kitchen, "When did you get here?"

"Hey. She was here when I got home," Juliette explained and Nick turned around to see her.

"Sorry for the short notice," Marie apologized.

"What, you didn't know she was coming?" Juliette asked Nick and Tala.

"I meant to call. Sometimes I mean to do something, and I assume I usually have," She explained.

"Well, how are you doing?" Nick asked his aunt.

"Is everything okay?" Tala asked.

"Not as okay as I used to be," Marie answered them.

"She was telling me some pretty funny stories about when you were little," Juliette told Nick.

"Dead frog in the microwave?" He asked.

"Among others."

"Come and give us a hug," Marie said as she stood up from her seat. As she hugged Nick, she whispered in his ear, "We need to talk."

Nick pulled away from the hug and gave his aunt a look before turning to Juliette, "Hey, Juliette. Aunt Marie and I are gonna head out for some fresh air."

"Tala will be joining us," Marie added.

"Ok, sure. Dinner should be ready in a few minutes so be sure to be back soon," Juliette said. Nick nodded before he, Tala, and Aunt Marie left the house and walked down the street.

"How bad is it?" Nick asked his Aunt.

"Two months, two weeks, two days. Nobody knows. But there are so many things I have to tell you," She told him with a shrug.

"Why didn't you come here sooner?" He asked.

"I couldn't," She states.

"Why?"

"Just listen to me. There are things you don't know. Things about your family," Marie told him.

"My family? You and Tala are my family," Nick reminds her.

"Have you been seeing strange things? Things that you can't explain?" Marie asked. Nick doesn't answer but gives a knowing look, "Oh, I knew it. This is all happening so much faster than I thought it would. When it happened to me, it knocked me on my ass. I couldn't move for a week."

"What are you talking about?" Nick questioned.

"The misfortune of our family is already passing to you. I'm so sorry," Marie frowns, "I know you love Juliette, but you have to end it and never see her again. It's just too dangerous."

"What?" Nick inquires, confused.

"Oh, my God. He's here," Marie gasps, her stare going behind Nick and Tala. Tala subtly sniffs the air and her eyes turn a bright blue.

"Who?" Nick asked.

"Hulda," Marie breathes as she pulls out a knife from her cane. Suddenly, a troll-like figure jumps out of the bushes roaring and tries to attack Marie with a scythe.

She fights back and Nick tries to help but is knocked on his back. Tala's eyes woge before she tackles Hulda before he can use his scythe on Marie. Hulda gets up and smacks Tala with the scythe, just before Marie stabs him with her knife in the back. Hulda smacks her across the face, knocking her to the ground and creating a small cut on her head. He goes to kill her, but Nick shoots him repeatedly, killing him. Hulda falls right next to Nick, and he watches as Hulda's face changes from troll-like to a normal person.

"Tala, are you ok?" Nick asked as he rushed over to her.

"I'm fine," She answered before she and Nick ran over to check on Marie.

"Did you kill him?" Marie asked Nick.

"Yes."

"I thought I'd lost him. They're after me," Marie rips off a necklace with a key attached. She tells them, "Never lose this. Guard it with your lives. They'll be looking for it. Nick, your parents didn't die in a crash. They were killed," She then passes out.

"What?" Nick asked, shocked by the sudden news.

After calling 911, the police and paramedics, while Aunt Marie was being loaded into the ambulance and Juliet was talking to an officer about what she heard, Nick and Tala were talking to Hank. After Tala had gotten the cut on her head checked out.

"It happened so fast. He came out of nowhere. He had that thing in his hand, and he went right for her, Hank. I had no choice," Nick explained to Hank what happened.

"Take it easy. Now, you two go to the hospital. I'll handle this," Hank told them.

"My mother said she said she knew him, and his name was Hulda," Tala informed him.

"I'll run his prints," Hank walked away as Juliette walked toward the house.

"You want me to come with you?" She asked.

"No. I'll be home as soon as I can," Nick replied.

"Okay. Love you."

Nick and Tala turn around and climb into the ambulance before leaving for the hospital.

In the hallway of the hospital, Tala and Nick sit while they wait to see Marie, both their adoptive mother and Nick's aunt. Tala looks at Nick and sees that he is drawing a picture of what he saw.

"Mr. Burkhardt? Ms. Lahote? She's conscious now," Dr. Rose states as Nick and Tala quickly make their way into Marie's room. The two walk up to her bedside.

"You saw him, didn't you?" Marie asked Nick, "You saw who Hulda really was."

"I don't know what I saw or how you did that," He responded, "What's going on?"

"We have the ability to see what no one else can. When they lose control, they can't hide, and we see them for what they really are. Tala is the same but also different from us, she and others like her-" Marie began.

"Look, you need some rest," Nick suggested.

"This is no fairy tale. The stories are real. What they wrote about really happened. You are one of the last Grimms. I know it's a lot, and I wish I had more time, but everything's in my trailer. Sweetie, there's so much you still don't know," She explained.

"Look, what you said about my parents…" Nick began.

"You're vulnerable now. You need to be careful," Maire warns him as she holds her adoptive daughter's hand, "Tala will help you. Don't ever lose what I gave to you."

"I'm sorry, Mr. Burkhardt, Ms. Lahote. You can see her again tomorrow," Dr. Rose told them.

Tala nodded, she and Nick left the room. As they walk down the hallway, Nick stops and takes out what Marie had given him. Upon further examination, Nick discovers that it is a key.

Later that the precinct, Nick and Tala sit at their desks. Nick is looking at the Scythe and Tala could tell that he was thinking about the strange things he has seen recently.

"Hey, Nick. You get that translated?" Hank asked, referring to the inscription on the weapon.

"Yeah. It means "Reapers of the Grimms," Nick answered.

"Well, that sounds lovely," Tala commented.

"That fits your buddy Hulda. Wait till you hear what I got on him," Hank said. Nick and Tala left their desk and the three of them walk down the stairs to the lobby, "Hulda was from Boise, Idaho, where he worked as an accountant, but his prints came back as a Mr. Lindon from Chicago, wanted for assault, rape, and murder. But there's also warrants matching those prints in Florida and Alabama."

"He was wanted for assault, rape, and murder?" Nick questioned.

"Don't let the comb-over throw you. This was a bad guy," Hank said.

"Hey, Nick," Wu calls as he walks up the stairs, "Captain wants to see you."

"What's he want?" Nick asked Hank and Tala.

"Guess you'll find out," Hank responded.

"Good luck," Tala told Nick before she and Hank walked away.

The next morning, Nick and Tala were walking in the hall after returning from the lab with the DNA results when they ran into Hank.

"Take a look at the lab report. DNA of the attacker is inconclusive. Still don't know if we're looking for a man or a beast," Nick informed him.

"Well, we got a lead if it wears boots. Based on the plaster cast, this is the boot we're looking for," Hank shows Nick and Tala a picture of a boot.

Tala's phone rings, "Detective Tala Lahote."

"Hello, Ms. Lahote. It's Dr. Rose. I'm calling to inform you that your mother is in a coma at the moment and for you and Mr. Burkhardt to come to the hospital."

"Of course, we'll be right over," Tala hangs up and says to Nick," We need to go to the hospital. Marie is in a coma."

Nick and Tala then rush out of the precinct and into Nick's car before driving off.

After the drive, Nick and Tala were in the hospital talking to Dr. Rose just outside Marie's room.

"She's in a deep coma. There was a sudden spike in the EKG this morning, but I don't have anything definitive to tell you yet," Dr. Rose explained.

"Will she come out of this?" Tala asked.

"Well, all we can do is wait," She replied before asking Tala and Nick, "Did you know about the scars?"

"What scars?" Nick questioned.

"A lot of them look like knife wounds. They're all over her body," Dr. Rose told them, "What line of work was she in?"

"She was a librarian," Nick states. His phone rings and he answers, "Yeah. On our way."

Nick, Tala, and Hank arrive at the house of a young girl, who was reported missing a short while ago by her mother and grandfather. The three walk across the street to the house and Wu walks up to them.

"What do we know?" Hank asked.

"Little girl on the way to her grandfather's house. Never showed up. That's him, the guy with the beard," Wu pointed over to the old man.

"Do we know he's clean?" Nick asked.

"No," He answered, "We're looking into that. That's the best photo they had," Wu shows them a picture of the young girl.

At the precinct, Captain Renard informs the officers of the situation with Robin's case.

"We don't know what we got here, relative, ransom, or pedophile, and the clock is ticking. We're gonna split into teams, section off the paths she would have taken from school. Now, it's a mile and a half from the school to the house. When last seen, she was wearing purple leggings and a red sweatshirt. Make sure you have a copy of the photo and the map," Renard told them, "You all know your sections, so let's get out there and find her."

"Oh no," Tala muttered, "Nick, a red sweatshirt."

As the officers disperse, Nick, Tala, Hank approached the Captain.

"Captain," Nick called.

"Yeah?" Renard inquires.

"Earlier today when the university student was attacked, she was wearing a red sweatshirt," Tala informed him.

"The girl that was torn to pieces?" He asked.

"Yeah," Hank confirmed.

"Well, let's hope it's not the same guy," Renard told them.

Later on, Nick, Tala, and Hank search the area near where Robin went missing.

"She's supposed to cross Hunter Lane right there and then go around the park to Hildebrand," Nick informed them.

"The old man's house is on the other side of the park, right?" Hank asked.

"Right. 4753 Hildebrand Road. Directly across from here," He said.

"When I was a kid, I wouldn't have gone all the way around the park," Hank told Nick and Tala.

"Well, the mother was very specific about the route," Tala mentioned.

"Yeah, right. Kids always do what their moms tell them to do," Hank scoffed, "I know I did. Come on, guys."

Hank, Tala, and Nick go into the park.

"I'll take this trail," Tala said, "You guys take the other one."

"You sure you don't want any backup?" Hank asked.

"My mom made me practice Jiu-Jitsu and Judo since I was ten," She informed him, "And I always have a gun."

Tala heads down the trail and walked far enough before she looked around. When she saw no one around, Tala woge and began to smell the area trying to find anything. Her eyes soon landed on a backpack on the ground and she changed back.

"Nick, Hank, I got something here," Tala called out. Soon, Nick and Hank arrived as she examines the backpack, which had R.H. written on it, "Robin Howell."

"She must have been grabbed somewhere in this area," Nick said.

"Careful where you step," Hank advised them before talking on his phone, "We got a crime scene in Berkeley Park. Yeah, off Hildebrand."

"Hank, we got boot prints here, same kind. He took her this way," Nick pointed out before he follows the path.

"Nick!" Tala calls out before she follows him.

"Hank, Tala, I got him," Nick shouted.

Tala comes out of the forest and sees Nick run toward a man, who tries to run into his house but is stopped when Nick tackles him and Tala runs up to them.

"Where is she? Where is she?" Nick asked the man.

Over an hour later, after the police had arrived and had searched the house, but nothing turned up.

"Look, I know she's in here somewhere," Nick urged to Hank and Tala.

"You got another place to look, we'll look, but we've torn this place apart," Wu told him.

Nick, Tala, and Hank step outside the house and on the porch.

"What are we doing here?" Hank asked Nick.

"If she's not in there, he's got her someplace else," He replied.

"Nick, this guy is clean. We checked him out and he has no priors," Tala informed him, "What do you see in him?"

"He fits the profile... he's a loner, he's never been married, he lives across the street from a park," Nick argued.

"That's not going to get him into a court unless he sues our ass," Hank walks away.

"I'm gonna go release him," Tala said before walking over to the police cruiser and opening the back passenger door.

"Am I free to go?" Monroe asked.

"Yeah, you are," She replied before helping him out of the cruiser and taking the handcuffs off him.

"The nerve of that guy," Monroe muttered as he rubbed his wrists, "But then again what do expect from a Grimm."

"I know, but listen to me, Monroe," Tala said, "My cousin is concerned about a little girl who was abducted not far from here."

"Wait, your cousin is Grimm?!" He exclaimed in a high tone.

"Yes," She confirmed, "Now, I want you to keep me informed about anything relating to recent Blutbaden attacks."

"Got it," Monroe replied.

That night, Tala was in her loft working out on her punching bag and listening to some rock n roll music when her phone ringed. Tala stopped the music and answered her phone.

"Detective Lahote," She answered.

"Hey, Tala, it's me," Monroe greeted.

"Hey, Monroe, why are you calling me so late?"

"Because your cousin is currently sitting in my house after watching me peeing on my fence and I tackled him after I jumped through my window, and saw me in full woge," He replied.

Tala pinched her brow, "How much have you told him?"

"Not much," Monroe answered, "And don't worry I didn't tell him about the 'Thing'. I thought it was your secret to tell, and I also want to say that I'm sorry about your Aunt being in the hospital."

"Thanks. Ok, I'm gonna head over there and try not to kill my cousin or vice versa," Tala hung up. She got changed into some clothes and drove her motorcycle to Monore's house.

Tala parked her motorcycle outside Monroe's house before putting the stand down and going up knocking on the door. A moment later, Monroe opens the door and welcomes Tala in.

"Care to come in?"

"Thanks," Tala said as she stepped inside the house, "I'm sorry about my cousin. I'll pay for the window."

"It's fine," Monroe told her, "Besides, your cousin is paying for the window. Come on, he's in the living room."

Tala followed Monroe into his living room and saw Nick standing there, just by looking at him Tala knew that Nick had found out the truth.

"How much did he tell you?" Tala asked her cousin.

"He told me enough," Nick replied, "How could you keep something like this from me, Tala?"

"Because Marie told me to," She answered, "She said that she wanted you to have some normalcy in your life. I suppose now that you know about all this you'll want to know why I wasn't kept in the dark."

"Yeah," He said.

"Just remember that it is still me, Nick," Tala took a deep breath before she woged. Nick took a step back in shock as his adopted cousin's appearance changed to almost that of a wolf. Fur covered her entire body, her canines grew longer, her eyes became a light blue, and her ears moved a little higher and had points. Tala retracts and says, "That's why. Now, let's go find that girl."

Monroe drives Nick and Tala toward the postman's house in his light yellow 1974 Volkswagen Super Beetle, swerving while sticking his head out the window, trying to catch a scent. Tala, sitting in the back, stuck her head out the window and help Monroe.

"I really think I should drive," Nick said, in a loud and slightly panicked voice to Monroe.

"No, I'm good," Monroe responded.

"If this is the same Blutbad that killed that woman in the woods…" Nick began.

"Don't worry, Nick," Tala told her cousin, "If this guy ate yesterday, then he'll before good for a week or ten days."

"Tala's right. He'll just use the time to fatten her up. Whoa. I got a hit. We're close," Monroe announced before putting his head back into the car.

Tala sniffs the air, "Yeah, I can smell it."

"Did you really smell him?" Nick asked Tala and Monroe.

"Dude, you have no idea," Monroe replied.

"Yeah, it's quite pungent," Tala added.

When they reached the middle of a bridge, Monroe stops the car in front of a 'Dead End' sigh.

"Okay, this is as far as we drive," Monroe said before the three of them get out of his car.

"What, he's over there?" Nick questioned.

"Oh, he's real close," Monroe takes Wolfsbane out of his pocket and rubs it on himself.

"What's that?" He asked.

"Wolfsbane," Monroe answered before passing it to Tala who rubbed it on herself, "So he won't sense us."

"You're kidding me, right?" Nick questioned him again.

"Not if you want to stay alive," He told Nick.

Tala hands Nick the Wolfsbane and he starts rubbing it on himself. When he's done, Nick starts walking on the path leading to the house.

"What are you doing?" Tala asked her cousin as she grabbed his shoulder and spun him around.

"Well, you two said he was over there," Nick said.

"Why don't you just call him, tell him you're coming? This way," Monroe said before they go below the bridge and walk through the water

"Isn't this what the bridge is for?" Nick complained.

After they walked through the water, they continued through the woods toward the house. Suddenly, both Tala and Monroe have to fight the urge to woge, but Tala wasn't struggling as much as Monroe.

"Sorry," Monroe apologized.

"Do I need something like silver bullets?" Nick asked. Both Monroe and Tala look at him like he's stupid.

"What are you, an idiot?" Monroe said.

The three of them walk a little further before Monroe spots the postman's house.

"That's his place," Monroe announced.

Monroe and Tala groan as they suddenly morph before retracting.

"What's happening?" Nick asked, putting a hand on his gun.

"I can't guarantee what'll happen if I go any closer. It's too dangerous. I might be on your side. I might be on his side. I might even go after the girl. I'm sorry. But there's nothing more I can do. I'm out of here," Monroe said, "I'm sorry."

"It's ok," Tala told him, "Just get out of here."

"Good luck," Monroe turns back and runs off.

"You good?" Nick asked his cousin.

"I can handle myself," She replied, "Here's the plan: Call Hank for backup. We tell him to meet us at the bridge. We take the same way back here. You guys go in while I wait out here so the postman doesn't get edgy. When things are looking rough, I'll go in and help."

"Ok," Nick takes out his phone and calls Hank."

"What?" Hank answered his phone, sounding like he had just woken up.

"We found her," Nick told him.

"What do you mean you found her? And who's 'we'?" He asked.

"Tala and I found the house where Robin is being kept. I'll give you the directions. We'll meet you at the bridge," Nick said.

The phone call ends. Nick Texts Hank the directions before he and Tala walk back to the bridge. A little while later, Hank drives up to the bridge before stopping and getting out to meet Nick and Tala.

"Where is he?" Hank asked.

"He's in a house on the other side of the stream. But you have to put some of this on first," Nick rubs the Wolfsbane on Hank.

"What the hell are you doing?" Hank questioned.

"So he doesn't smell us," Nick explained.

"We're not hunting deer. Where's backup?"

"You're the only one I called," He replied.

"What?" Hank looked at Nick like he was crazy.

"I already cried wolf once. You think they're gonna believe me? Come on."

They go below the bridge and walk through the stream.

"How'd you find this place?" Hank asked.

"Uh, the boots. I couldn't sleep, I called Tala, we started looking at addresses, this is one of them," Nick explained.

"What's his name?"

"Who?"

"The guy we're looking for," Hank clarified.

"Uh, I forgot," Nick replied, "Tala, do you remember?"

"I'm still trying to wake up after you woke me up in the middle of the night," Tala lied, backing Nick up.

"You do know there's a bridge, right? Man," Hank complained.

After crossing the stream, the three of them walked through the woods getting closer to the house.

"You better be right this time, buddy. You saw his boot prints, right?" Hank inquired.

"Yeah. Up there up by the house," Nick answered.

"Exact match?"

"From what we could tell, yeah," He added.

"You run his plates?"

"Still waiting," Tala replied.

"What's the matter? Do you not trust us?" Nick questioned.

"Okay, what's the plan," Hank asked.

"You two go inside and ask him some non-suspicious questions. I'll stay out here because I think three cops will make this guy a little jumpy and do what I can out here," Tala explained.

Hank nodded before he and Nick went up to the house. Tala stayed behind and waited before Hank and Nick were let in by the postman to approach the house. Tala walked around the house, making sure to be seen through the windows. She tried to find anything that would be useful but found nothing. Tala waited on the side of the house near the front for Nick and Hank to leave.

"Hank, I'm sorry. I really thought this time—" Nick apologized as he, Tala, and Hank walk away.

"Wait. The song," Hank interrupted.

"What song?" Tala inquired.

"He was humming the same song, the one on the dead girl's iPod," He explained.

They see the postman watching them. He then turns around, and the lights in the house go off. Nick, Tala, and Hank kick open the front door, guns are drawn, and look around the house with flashlights. The postman, morphed as a Blutbad, attacks Hank, shoving him to the ground. Nick runs at the postman, but the postman throws him to the ground. Tala woges and tries to attack but is quickly punched in the face. She falls to the ground and retracts. The postman runs outside. Nick, Tala, and Hank then chase after him

"Hold it," Hank ordered.

The postman keeps running, and Hank shoots him multiple times in the back. The postman falls to the ground and retracts. The three walk over with their aim still on the postman.

Nick rolls the postman over, "Where is she? Where is she?"

"Grimm," The postman said, weakly before he dies.

"She's got to be in the house," Hank told Nick and Tala.

Hank, Tala, and Nick run back inside the house. They look everywhere as they call out the little girl's name.

"She's not here. We're gonna have to call it in. I'll find the breaker," Hank walks away.

Nick and Tala notice water gathering around a carpet. Nick lifts the carpet, finding the hidden door, and he opens it.

"Hank!" Nick called. He and Tala go down the stairs, "Hank, she's here!"

Tala unties Robin's hands and takes the gag out of her mouth, "It's okay, honey. We're the police."

Hank turns the lights on and comes downstairs, and Robin hugs Tala.

"I don't know how you did it, but you did it," Hank said.

"It's okay now. We're gonna take you home," Tala comforted Robin.

The next day, Nick and Tala were visiting Marie in the hospital. Nick stayed in the room while Tala went to the cafeteria to get Nick and herself something to drink. On her way back to Marie's room, she heard alarms going off and people rushing into the room.

Tala began to fear the worst had happened and she dropped the drinks as she rushed over. Standing at the doorway, Tala saw Nick laying on the floor and the monitors hooked up to Marie going off. A nurse told her that she needed to leave before escorting Tala to the waiting room. As she left, Tala smelt something in the room. It was someone's sent, but not just anyone's, a Hexenbiest.
