Diego Pinned Ya, Shira!

It was a clear day in the frozen land of the Ice Age and just about all was quiet. But the silence was broken by the sound of laughter as two Sabertooth cubs ran through the snow. One was a white female while the other was an orange male. Shira and Diego had smiles on their faces as they ran. They ha just lost their babysitter, a sloth named Sid, after pulling off a genius plan. Before they had left the sloth, the two cubs had witnessed Sid be flattened by the backside of a mammoth. Shira looked to Diego with a chuckle and said, "All right! It worked!"

"We lost him." Diego said with a big grin as well. He moved to keep going when Shira then said, "I am a genius."

"Hey, genius," Diego sounded annoyed as he looked to the white Sabertooth cub as she sat down. He slightly glared as he reminded her, "it was my idea."

"Yeah," Shira said while still taking the credit and placed a paw against her chest, "but I pulled it off."

"With me." The male Sabertooth cub defiantly said with a smirk. Shira then tensed up and questioned with a smile, "Oh, yeah?"

Then with a playful growl, Shira tackled Diego to the ground. But the moment his back hit the ground, Shira felt him using his back paws to kick up against her belly. He flipped them up into the air and he came out on top. Shira gritted her teeth when her back het the ground and came back up a little, but Diego used his front paws on her chest to push her back down. Shira hit the ground again with a loud thump. Her eyes went wide with surprise as she looked up to the Sabertooth cub standing over her as he playfully said, "Pinned Ya!"

"Hey, let me up!" Shira said in annoyance as she pushed him off of her. Diego stepped back before closing his eyes and turned his head to the left. Shira rolled onto her side and looked at him with annoyed glare. But then a confident smile formed on her muzzle as she thought that he wouldn't be able to see her coming. Then getting back up, Shira playfully growled again as she tackled him again in the side and it sent them tumbling over the edge of a hill.

Shira and Diego laughed as they went over the edge and Shira lost her grip on Diego. The two separated with Diego landing on his feet and Shira rolled over her paws. As they rolled further down the hill, Shira and Diego smiled as he rolled onto his side and she was able to grab hold of him again in midroll. The two cubs kept laughing as they kept tumbling down the hill. When they neared the bottom of the hill, Shira kept a firm grip on Diego as she threw them off of the hill. But when they landed at the bottom and Diego's back touched the ground he once again planted his back feet against her belly and kicked up for the second time that day. A smile formed on his face as they flipped through the air with him coming out on top again. As they landed on the ground, Shira came up a little before Diego pushed her back down again with another thump. The red and white Sabertooth cub looked to the brown Sabertooth cub above her as he smugly said, "Pinned ya, again!"

This made Shira look up to him with an annoyed frown. They were suddenly caught off guard by the sound of crashing waves. Diego stepped off of Shira and she quickly moved to get back up onto her feet. The two cubs noticed that even though it was snowing, there was little to no plant life the further they went in. Plus, the soil was becoming more and more less snow covered with each step. They looked up to see something big and white beyond a sand dune. Shira's surprise turned into a smile as they moved closer. As they climbed up the sand dune, the cubs saw a mammoth skull that was turned onto its side. Shira looked to Diego and excitedly said, "This is it. We made it."
