Ugh what happened. I feel like I've been stabbed by a bunch of million needles at my brain.
I shook my non-existing head as I tried to recall what had just happened to me or at least something to help me get rid of this headache.
Then all of a sudden, I regain my memories, well at least most of it.
Previously I was a harmless scorpion... Well, as harmless as I could be like any other scorpions.
I was stuck in a sort of transparent cage which I think I heard from those gia- no, humans called it glass... ugh, I think?
Well anyway, I was doing well in my usual life, which is sleeping, drinking, climbing, and waiting for my food to arrive and repeated all over till it has become a daily routine for me. Okay, now I'm starting to see which isn't much, well you can't blame me for it as I have been trapped in this cage or something for who-knows-how-long?
Sometimes I always wonder what is it like being out of this cage, having to taste this so-called freedom.
Whenever I saw those humans choose the other creatures and bring them out to the world. I always envied them to have the taste of freedom, yet I'm still stuck in my own prison.
I wish someone, anyone, let me see the outside world.
Then one day my life change and it all started with a lady who was staring at me behind the glass. She has black hair and she's wearing something on her face, if recall correctly, I think it is called glasses... or something?
She was smiling at me as she had just found something in her interest. She immediately called out another human, then I was suddenly been transported into a different place as it was much smaller than my previous room.
I felt a vibration as the other human carried me and handed me to the lady as she was smiling happily. I also heard she mumbles something like '...my students going to like this.'
The next is all a blur to me, next time I knew I was placed somewhere close to the window and I was being surrounded by other humans as they all have different personalities and appearances, but all of them except the lady wearing the same yet with slight difference clothing.
I heard some of their comments about me, which most of them are somewhat not much surprising to me at least. For examples:
"Sensei, why do you bring a scorpion here?"
"Isn't it dangerous to have one in class?"
"This thing is horrifying!"
"Eww, why is there's a disgusting bug here?! Let's get rid of it?"
Now you can see why I ain't so surprised. Most of their comments really make me think, like is it really safe to have me, a scorpion, to be in a room where most of the people where you're trying to befriend or help them. Are you really trying to befriend them or scare them by using my presence?!
A few days passed, the other humans, if I didn't mistake, they are called students, ignored my presence and treated me like I was a piece of furniture in this class.
Well excuse me for being a dangerous predator, but should they really avoid me like a plague... that's just plain rude.
At least there's one human who treated me with kindness. If I heard right, her name is Wakaba Hiiro. She is usually the one who feeds me other than the lady called sensei.
I was grateful for at least two humans for noticing my presence, yet for some reason whenever she was close to me, my instincts immediately screamed at me to be wary of her as she could crush me under her boot if she decides to. Actually, she could but I was glad she chose not to.

Even though I fear her, yet I was also charmed by her for some reasons that still don't have the answer for it. Then I heard said something which I had never heard from any human.
"You're such an interesting one, aren't you?"
I... I didn't know how to react then; I was really confused... really. Like in all my life, well as much as a scorpion could have, this was the first time heard someone calling me interesting. I don't know what does it meant? Maybe one day I'll know the meaning of it.
So, whenever the students begin their so-called lessons. Usually, I would sleep, or just pay attention to my surroundings as much as I could. Sometimes I noticed a student would try to hide a... something called a... what is it called again? Mangi? Magi? Manga? Eh!? Well, whatever is it called behind a bigger erm... something similar in class or whatever is it called.
Well, is not much my problem anyways. Then my eyes lay upon a spider hanging on a ceiling. Like me, it also just spectates the lessons as it has nothing to do... like me. Seeing it hanging on the ceiling, makes me envy it. It can be free where he can't, it is such a cruel world.
All of sudden, there was this... light in the room blinding everyone, even me.
Then it brought me to my current situation. All of my surroundings is dark. Like, REALLY, really DARK. I've tried to move my body yet for some reason I can't. Okay, this is even worst than my previous cage, back then I could at least move but now I can't move a damn single muscle!!!
Damnit this is just too cruel!!! Well whatever entity up there, I have two words for you! SCREW!!! YOU!!!
After a few minutes of letting out all of my frustrations, I try to think if I could find a way out which seems not possible for a moment. As I'm trying to think of a way to escape, I started to notice something that I should have realized long ago.
How did I suddenly become this smart? I'm not trying to say I'm dumb or anything but if I recall I was just a scorpion that mostly rely on my own instincts to guide me. Or how did I manage to recall those memories as I somehow could describe them much better than before? It almost like someone, or something, just shove a book in my brain and then I become smart all of the sudden.
What's really happening to me? Did the light somehow improve my intelligence? Or was it something else?
Well, I couldn't do anything right now. Am I really going to be stuck here all of my life without doing anything or getting my answers? Like... back then?

Then all of the sudden, I'm finally free from that death trap, yet I was covered with some sort of slime, I think? I shook off that slime off my body.
I notice my body didn't change much as I'm still a scorpion but slimmer and my entire body is midnight blue. Well, I'm glad I still have the same body but with a different color.
Before I could rejoice in my freedom, standing in front of me is a white spider.
We both looked at each other.
Then all of the sudden we jumped back away from each other.
As I did jump, I nearly fall. Seems like my legs were wobbly as it's like I just had been born.
But I didn't pay much attention to it as I put all of my focus on the white spider in front of me.
The white spider is waving its front legs so fast, is it panicking? Maybe not, it could be a form of an attack.
I raise both of my claws and tail, ready to defend myself.
I don't know what had just happened to me, but one thing for sure is I ain't going die here!

Why does God have to be so cruel to me?! What did I do to deserve this?
Why does my first reincarnation, I have to be a spider. Not a magic girl that is destined to fight the Big Bad and save the world, but a spider, furthermore I'm also a monster.

If that isn't enough, having a monstrous mother that is the size of a building or so, nearly made me become one of her snacks.

Both shrieking each other, trying to scare each other, making usage of their body to increase their intimidation.
The New Species raised both his pincers, using his stinger, striking the air to increase his intimidation.
As for the spider, she shrieks and waves both of her front legs with quick movements, as it looks like a battle tactic to taunt an opponent.

Damn! This spider must be good! Trying to make me make the first move. This spider must be an expert.
Not like me being trapped in a cage for my entire life. I know nothing about combat.
I don't think I would win against a fight with it.
Hope my intimidation works! Seriously, I'm putting all of my hopes into it!

That looks dangerous! That stinger looks like it could pierce me to death! And those pincers could tear me in half!
Seriously! I just reincarnated and the first thing I did is have a PVP fight with another monster! Well, second actually, but nobody cares about that!
I just hope I could scare it with my looks. After all, I'm panicking right now! All I can do is just wave my arms... or legs? To scare it off.

A few minutes pass, both monsters were getting tired from their attempt at intimidation. It seems like fatigue is getting them, as their movements were getting sluggish and their shrieks aren't loud as before.

That spider is really persistent, I'll give it that!
I think my intimidation won't work on it. I need to try a different approach.
Maybe I'll jump in front of it, it might scare it away!?

Damn! This scorpion is really persistent for just being born for a few minutes.
What to do?! What to do?! I need to think of something quick before it made a meal out of me!
Wait! I got it! I'll jump in front of it, that might scare it! Then again would it be enough?

3rd P.O.V.
The two monsters did not know both have the same ideas. They immediately jump in front of one another hoping to scare the other.
Sadly, both of their attempts failed as they received a different result from it.
Both accidentally headbutted each other, as both shrieks in pain. The New Species fall on his back, while the spider landed in front of the New Species.
Both are still dazed from the headbutts they gave each other.
The New Species raises his head to look up, while for the spider, she looks down.
By sheer luck, or either karma, both of their mouth connected to each other. They both froze like statues, as neither sides did anything but freeze at their spots.
It literally took them a minute to understand their current situation.
They immediately panic, but their panics make the matter worst, as both accidentally bite each other lips, letting both their blood mix with each other and unintentionally swallow it.
The spider raises her front leg and slaps the new monster, she immediately gets away from it with a tint of red on her cheeks. She immediately covers her cheeks with her front legs.
As for the new monster, he looks away. Using his right pincer, rubbing the spot where he got slapped by the spider. He just standing there doesn't know how to react to his current situation.

For some reasons, I kinda feel responsible right now as I should try to make it up with that spider, yet I feel conflicted on what should I do now?
If I go towards the spider, it might assault me again, but this time with a stronger intent to kill me or worst.

As both monsters were still in their denial/confused state. They both hear a machine voice in their heads.

Both monsters immediately turn their heads so fast that the sounds of shells cracking can be heard. They both look at each other with shock on their faces.
They both started to realize something, not only they could hear the voice, but they can understand each other as well.

Their screams can be heard all around them.
