CHAPTER 1
Do you believe in those cheesy stuff that love struck fools called soulmate?
Are you willing to believe that you are tied to marry a stranger?
Will you believe when your parents tell you that there are different types of soulmates
The type where you and your other half have a similar mark somewhere in your body
The type where you are tied with the red string of fate
Or maybe the type where you can meet your soulmate in a special place somewhere within your mind
Well, that is exactly what happened to me the day after my 12th birthday
I met my soulmate somewhere in my mindscape just a few steps away from my much smaller than normal 'tenant'
My name is Naruto Uzumaki, the eldest granddaughter of the Whirlpool Daimyo and this is my story
Uzushiogakure is a sight to behold. A rather small island with some smaller islands scattered around it with multiple whirlpools surrounding the area as a defense system. The small nation is surrounded with clean white beach and a few mountain ranges with multiple resources and minerals. A small nation who holds the title as The Richest Nation out of all Five Great Nation.
Uzushiogakure No Sato was attacked at the beginning of the second shinobi war when three nations deemed them as a threat when everyone on the island are a peaceful overly energetic bunch people. Unfortunately for the three temporary allied nations the Uzushiogakure survived the attack with only ¼ of their nation took the brutal attack. Turns out that their spy network manages to find out about the planned attack and evacuate every civilian inside the nation's palace which is located at the very center of the island surrounded by multiple high walls that is covered by seals. The enemies didn't even manage to get to the second wall before the Daimyo and his wife managed kill them. While the attack only lasted at least a day and a half there are still injured Uzu-shinobi around and a very few dead once.
Their win causes all the nations to grasp the idea that they shouldn't mess with an Uzumaki but unfortunately the Konoha one of their closely tied allies who used to house their princess the Daimyo's only daughter decided to lie on them telling their Daimyo that his daughter's child didn't manage to survive the Kyuubi attack just like her mother.
Well, they manage to get away from that... until the Daimyo's youngest child and their spy master manage to find their late princess's supposedly dead daughter being beaten by the villagers the Daimyo's of the Land of Fire couldn't do anything to appease Naruto's grandfather and decided to cut at least ¼ of the money that they got from the capital and let Naruto freely go with her family
Uzumaki Naruto is an extremely beautiful twelve-year-old princess who used to wear rags for a clothing before her maternal family found her getting beaten to death by the people who her father swore to protect. Naruto is now a well-trained kunoichi much like her mother and just as cunning and intelligent as her father, but unlike her parents she is only trained as one and don't really have that title
Back then when her grandparents told her about soulmates, she didn't believe them that much just like her one of her older cousins Tayuya while her younger cousin Karin is adamant that soulmates are in fact real.
Tayuya much like Naruto herself doesn't believe in love whilst her sister Karin is a hopeless romantic just like mother
(Tayuya and Karin are in fact sisters in this story)
So, imagine her surprise when she woke up in a place that she couldn't recognize, of course her first thought is that somebody have the guts to kidnap her in her sleep but knows that no one would try such things because first is that No one can get inside her room aside from her grandparents, Karin and Tayuya and a few maids that work for them.
It looks like she is near the edge of a cliff with a big cherry blossom tree leaning at a little to the cliff edge. Walking near the edge she could make up some clouds around her and looking down at the bottom she was greeted by an extremely beautiful fantasy town with multiple people walk about doing their thing
"Troublesome" Naruto heard taking her kunai from a seal hidden somewhere in her body only to be greeted by a walking pineapple in forest green pajamas which made her remember that she is only wearing an orange nighty that only ended below her knees.
As her face grew a bright shade of red, the said pineapple looked up and saw her and her chosen clothing before looking away flustered
"What the heck are you wearing woman?!" demanded to slightly red pineapple
"None of your business Mr. Pineapple!" Naruto yelled trying to cover her body with both her hands and hair
"Well, if you would show up out of nowhere in so little clothing in front of me then yes that would make it my business as well"
"It doesn't matter alright! This is just a dream anyway and you're not even real!" she yelled
"Fyi miss, I am in fact a real breathing person!"
"If you are then how are you in my dream?" Naruto ask confused
"How should I know? I just sleep and the next thing I know is that you're in front of me!" Explained Mr. Pineapple still now looking at her
"And can you put some clothes on, you troublesome woman?" At hearing those words Naruto squeak before realizing that she might have something sealed in her arm that would cover her up.
"Alright you can turn around now" she said before finally getting a good look to the pineapple in front her only to realize that the boy in front of her look relatively handsome.
"Who are you anyway and how did you got here?" Mr. Pineapple ask
"Well, my name is...Akari and just like you I just woke up here Mr. Pineapple" Naruto said hesitating before deciding to give him a fake name just for some safety measure, but it looks like Mr. Pineapple knows what she is doing
"Well for one my name is NOT Mr. Pineapple, but I guess you can call me Shin" he said before looking around for some clue
"Death huh? Why do you choose death to associate with you?" Naruto ask knowing that he knows that they wouldn't be using their real name when addressing each other
"You use the name that means red plum which frankly suite you, so I decided to choose Shin as it also associates my family background somehow" he said still looking around
"So, you came from a family full of ninja's huh?"
"Mm, you could say that Princess" he said finally looking at her and taking her appearance before nodding
"How do you know that I'm a princess?" She asks a little suspicious but at seeing him widen his eyes a bit she relaxed thinking that he only guessed it right
"I didn't but looking at you now, you look like a girl who gets pampered quite a lot" Obviously that isn't the right thing to say as Akari hit him in the head
"Hey that hurts!"
"Then stop being so judgmental you pineapple haired weirdo"
"I'm the weirdo? You're the one who wears that orange nightgown with multiple YELLOW flowers on it and let me tell you it is in fact an eyesore"
"You idiot!"
