Little note from me. Hello. Hi. How you doin. I started 2 incomplete works because of massive writers blocks and fuck ups. However, this story is one I'm dedicated too. You have to respect thatfor a least a little while it'll start off slow as I get beach into the groove of writing again but bear with me and we will get there. Go team!

"WowYang! This place is huge!" Ruby Shouted to a blonde standing next to her. The 18 year old girl stood in front of the college she would be attending. Beacon academy. The large almost menacing building looming in front of her. The girl was wearing a simple hoodie with a black tank top under it. A pair of faded, once black but now grey jeans wrapped her legs up warmly.

Said blonde simply giggled and ruffled the red tipped black hair of the girl next to her. "Sure is sis. Sure is." She giggled. She had a yellow tank top with a brown vest covering it, her cleavage slightly out. But she didn't mind. She also wore a pair of short shorts that barely went half down her thigh. "Could be fun though. Think of all the people we could meet?" There was excitement lacing her voice as she spoke.

"I suppose you're right about that. However, let's go find our dorms. I'm beat from the ride here. Why does patch have to be a 3 hour drive away?" She groaned. "Also meeting our dorm mates and setting all the groundwork there would be nice. But I'll catch up with you later, yeah?" She giggled and began to walk forward, opening the massive doors that were the entrance to Beacon.

"Sure thing sis just be careful yeah? And if they give you any trouble you have your big sis here!" She flexed her arm to prove a point. Ruby simply just readjusted the one strap of her backpack and laughed again.

"Sure thing Yang." She then began to search for the dormitory. Her search took her all over the college itself but the young girl refused to ask for directions being the bull head she was. She thought she had memorized the layout when she was given the tour. "You know. If I had a map I would have found the dorms by now."

As if summoned by her thought she found a directory. "Oh. This helps."

"Okay. New roommate today." The 18 year old cinder said to herself. Trying to mentally prepare to be living with someone again. She didn't feel ready but the school insisted. So she couldn't refuse. She looked down to the black smartwatch on her wrist. The band was solid gold in color. "Should have been here a half hour ago." She thought to herself. She turned to the mirror in front of her only to see an amber eye staring back at her.

She began to toy with her, brushing the short black mess back over her right eye where a thin, black patch covered her eye. Or rather, lack thereof. Her thoughts began to stray to the time when she lost it. At the time it was deemed an accident, but she knew better.

Before she could ruminate on it further there was a knock on the door. Cinder stood to open it and took one last look in the mirror. She wore a simple black tee and had a pair of brand new blue jeans on. Finally satisfied with herself she opened the door and the amber eye met silver ones.

"Hi there. My name is Ruby. I'm your new roommate." The girl said with a grin.
