Pale Moon's Light
One Shot(/possibly chapter 1?): Return to the Waterfall
One of the most notable scenes for everyone's favorite shy Hyuga during the infamous filler season that encompassed the last of the part one anime until they finally ended with Naruto leaving Konoha with Jiraiya is the scene during the Bikochu arc where Hinata dances under the waterfall and moonlight. She happens to be naked while doing this(smart choice as her clothes would probably be soaked completely) and Naruto wanders close and sees her dancing but fails to recognize her yet he is entranced by her movements. Naruto never makes the connection. Well recently I saw a NaruHina doujin that used and referenced that scene with Naruto and Hinata taking a walk and ending up at that particular waterfall with Naruto reminiscing about the scene with Hinata realizing he remembers seeing her. She decides to tell Naruto but cannot and decides to show him by stripping down to her underclothes and repeating her dance from 3 years ago which after Naruto spends a minute being embarrassed by her dancing half-naked and then he recognizes her movement. And the comic ends with Naruto and Hinata kissing. Well, I decided to write a one shot based on that Doujin. A few creative liberties were taken.
For pure purposes of AU, imagine that in this timeline or universe had Tsunade managed to pull through the Pain attack without the coma or conversely, she had actually been killed by the attack but Nagato's usage of Rinne Tensei had resurrected her, totally preventing Danzo's rise to power. Nor has Sasuke woken up and been informed about Itachi's true nature and motives and lied to by Tobi and sent to attack Killer Bee yet.
Such changes would have a much more peaceful aftermath. Giving plenty of time to properly think and process and get misunderstandings cleared out.
Before we go into anything else: Happy Birthday to the Best Girl in Naruto, if not anime as a whole: Uzumaki/Hyuga Hinata. I know I've said this before but Hinata is my favorite character in the series. I sympathize with her greatly due to how many of my own issues I share with her. Shy, lack of confidence, and feelings of inferiority when compared to peers to name a few. So: HAPPY BIRTHDAY from both GBABoy313 and RaNK001!
(Also today is the fifth anniversary of Carrie Fisher Dying.)
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto. Boruto's series wouldn't exist anymore if I had come into ownership of Naruto. Either that or major retcons made.
Secondary disclaimer: I'm typing this one up mostly on my phone via the app which I have a love hate relationship with. This is mostly a spare time thing and thus it will be vastly different than usual I'm expecting. I don't do much editing of online documents on my laptop because I feel like the browser document management has a bad habit of corrupting the files. Sentences I know I typed disappear and words I know I spelled correctly being screwed up. Keep that in mind.
Tertiary disclaimer: This is my first tryst with major romantic focus and was going to be my first lemon until time constraints forced otherwise. See end note for more.
With that out of the way: LET'S GO!
Start Chapter 1 Part 1:
Naruto groaned as sleep left him once again. Sleep was harder to come by after Pain's defeat.
The amount of death and tragedy and pain that could be born from a cycle was almost overwhelming.
In another life. Perhaps Naruto would have been the one seeking to strike so deep that no one would fight one another again.
Perhaps in the moment that haunted him most, he did perhaps become that tragic hero.
Maybe that was why he understood Nagato and Konan. Why he couldn't kill them.
Nightmares of what may have happened had assaulted the blonde's mind.
A vision of when he came back but instead of Hinata welcoming him with the villagers, instead her body was being taken away to be buried because she had died after Rinne Tensei. Or a delusion of her dying from her reckless attack on Pain and Naruto actually managing to go through and kill him.
So many possibilities, each one a ghost that choose to haunt him.
At least this time, he could get up for the day.
The early morning streets of Konoha were empty, something the blonde had found to be quite comfortable. Initially he liked strolling in the empty streets because that meant there wouldn't be any harsh comments, any below the breath whispers of 'demon brat' and people avoiding him while casting him hateful glances. Nowadys though, after the battle with Pain, the situation for him had turned over its head. Peoples' attitude towards him had done a 180 so quick that the jinchuuriki couldn't even comprehend. He felt uncomfortable and even suffocated upon being showered with praises by the very people he knew addressed him as the 'demon brat' below their breaths until very recently. The sight of some newly minted fangirls also made him quite uncomfortable. Once upon a time, Naruto envied Sasuke because of his popularity among the females, now the shallowness of that popularity made him understand why Sasuke never gave a rat's ass about those fangirls of his. A part of Naruto was quite tempted to copy Sasuke's way of dealing with these so-called admirers. Sure, he wanted to be acknowledged, all his life he had striven for the acknowledgement of these very people and now that he was getting it, he finally had come to understand that this acknowledgement, this fame was not what he really had always wanted, sure it was good, for some days it was good, but then slowly Naruto had come to understand that these people only admire his strength, his power, not the person that he was. And for that Naruto had come to a realization, he didn't really care anymore of what people thought of him. He still wanted to be Hokage, to protect the village, since protecting people and seeing them happy made him happy in turn, but no longer did he want some shallow acknowledgement or popularity. Therefore, the whiskered teen appreciated the quiet and empty streets, where he could enjoy the nature, the chirping of birds, the slightly cold morning breeze signaling the arrival of autumn and the greenery, without being showered with praises, being asked for autographs and all those shallow things like that.
The people whose opinion really mattered to him; he could count them by the fingers and right now Naruto's mind was being dominated by thoughts of the most important one of them, a certain shy Hyuuga.
Hinata had become a regular occupant of his mind ever since the attack. The words she said and their meaning had become a topic of debate inside the Uzumaki.
"I'm not afraid to die because I love you..." those words haunted him. The last thing she said before Naruto gave into the Kyubi and almost released it to avenge Hinata.
The fact she was okay and alive brought him far more relief and happiness than anything else when he had come home.
Even more than Sakura. The girl he thought he loved.
So many confusing emotions ran in his head whenever Hinata was around or he focused on her.
And thoughts of his comment about her being a great wife someday came back as well.
He knew there was no way she meant that she loved him like that. That she would want to spend her life with him. She had to have meant as a friend.
She was a Hyuga. She could have nobility across the nations fighting over her. Naruto was the village pariah until recently. He may be the son of the Fourth Hokage and one of the last of the Uzumaki Clan, but he was also the Jinchuriki of the Kyubi. (And honestly, that fact about him being the son of the Legendary Yellow Flash had still not been made public, Naruto himself had been the one to have put a stay on it, even if Tsunade had wanted to do it) She could do better than that. She knew that. She was a friend and loved him as a friend.
No matter how much Naruto wished otherwise at this moment.
Naruto had been spending more time with her in the week since the attack. No outbound missions meant plenty of time in the village.
But it was unfair, that Naruto couldn't find a way to make sense of what he was feeling nor could he tell her and try to get her to explain herself at the moment. Hinata was suffering her own clan being sent into turmoil by the attack.
The Hyuga Branch house had suffered almost total losses off all active Shinobi during the attack. Only genin had been spared. Nagato's final act may have resurrected the dead, but it couldn't undo the unforeseen result of the Hyuga's sin. The Caged Bird Seal. It's activation destroyed all traces of the Hyuga Bloodline limit.
Every member of the Hyuga Branch House who had died and been resurrected by Nagato had been blinded.
It was meant supposedly to protect their bloodline from the wrong hands, prevent it from being stolen. But with its other uses such as keeping unruly Branch members in line or causing pain with a hand seal it became hard to ignore that the Branch were treated as slaves and considered second class to the true Hyuga: the Main House.
Naruto hadn't heard much about what all was happening but it was big. Arrests, criminal charges placed by both Hiashi and the Hokage, and the Hokage being allowed to interfere in clan matters due to the impact on Konoha
Hinata didn't like making others pity her for her problems, something she shared with Naruto, so she wasn't mentioning what was really happening behind closed doors. But Naruto's presence as both a friend and comrade seemed to be lifting the burden from her shoulders.
He was happy to help. He just wished he could do more. BE More.
He hadn't talked to her about her confession yet.
It tore Naruto up but he couldn't make sense of anything he was feeling. He wanted to be better for Hinata. Live for her, die for her. He would kill for her and he honestly had almost killed Nagato to avenge her believing she was dead.
It was far more intense than anything he had ever felt for Sakura. And it was scaring him.
Naruto wanted to talk and Hinata did as well but Naruto's internal confusion kept him declining and avoiding it.
And most confusingly and thankfully at the same time, Hinata always answered it was okay and he could have more time with the same kind look and shy yet beautiful smile on her face as always.
The same smile she gave him ever since that day, the day he stood up for her against three older kids. Except for when she was talking directly to him at first in his earlier memories with her.
But Naruto also realized how she was one of the few he felt safe around alone. Safe enough to drop his guard and let the real him show.
Maybe he had always felt something for her and what she said had brought it to the forefront where it could no longer be suppressed and buried.
Naruto hadn't realized it was her at first but his thoughts had given him some clarity that gave him recognition.
Every memory that held her was scrutinized and her behavior wasn't adding up to what Naruto tried so desperately to rationalize her Love for him as.
It gave him hope. Hope that she did truly love him.
But he knew that hope could be completely cruel.
But his memories also made him realize how bad Hinata must have been hurt by being overlooked by him for years in favor of a girl that Naruto had come to realize was just a way of finally beating out Sasuke. A girl who had become like a sister to him.
Maybe it wasn't too late.
But that memory of the girl dancing beneath the waterfall naked was coming to the forefront of the Uzumaki's mind for some reason.
And as Naruto walked with that almost ethereal image from his memory replaying in front of him, he failed to notice that someone similarly distracted by thoughts of other things had been walking straight towards him.
"Oof." A voice cried out as Naruto ran into something only to find that it was a person who he managed to grab their hand.
"Gotcha! Sorry about that! I swear I was just..." Naruto started to trail off as he truly felt the smooth skin of the small hand that he had caught.
He went wide eyed at Hinata who was likewise staring back at him with her lavender colored Byakugan staring back at him with her own eyes wide as his own and cheeks colored slightly red. He took in everything. The slight shifting of the curves of her chest from her breathing, the silken locks of her midnight blue hair and the way light shined off it, and the gentle smile that once again made its way onto her lips once she recovered from her shock.
"I'm sorry Naruto-kun. Good morning. I see you are up at this hour as well." Hinata said once Naruto recovered from his own shock and pulled her to her feet.
*Earlier that day*
Hinata jerked awake with a gasp as a nightmare had ended.
She dreamt that she had been branded and then been among the dead of the Branch House when the miraculous revival had occurred.
That had been the buildup. The final moments of blackness were ended by Naruto being declared dead.
To never be able to see Naruto again. To never be able to carry out her duties as a ninja. Hinata would be well and truly useless then. A thought that hurt and scared her more than any hurtful thing she had heard or endured in her life or anything she had seen of the cruel world.
The only thing that scared her more would be having all hope of Naruto returning her affections cruelly cut off, either by her own death or circumstances or by his own.
Hinata knew that the nightmare was irrational in nature. Even though Hanabi was the heiress to the clan now, Hinata wasn't to be branded. Her father's resentment for the fate of his brother ran deep and focused strongly on the system that demanded family be made slaves and be expected to lay down their lives for their superiors in the family out of duty rather than love.
Hinata didn't know if her father had it in him to destroy the system entirely and ensure it could never rise back up, but she did know that he wanted to make sure his children never knew that pain and make sure the event that made Neji so filled with hate and resentment never be repeated.
Though thankfully the chaos unleashed by the resurrections had finally started to die down and order was returning to the Hyuga.
Though without a seal master of Jiraiya-sama's caliber, the likelihood of undoing the Caged Bird Seal was next to nothing. The only way to heal the rift was to simply stop placing the seal entirely which many readily agreed to.
Hinata sighed as her thoughts began to turn to golden hair and deep blue eyes and whisker marked cheeks.
She wanted to know his answer so bad. It was not so bad, Hinata had put her life on the line and almost died professing her love and undying devotion to Naruto.
It was natural to want to know his answer to her affections.
But it was unfair of her to demand such a thing from him right now seeing as he was still reeling from Jiraiya's death. 'And whatever he learned from Pain, the real one...' Hinata thought with some amount of suspicion. What could Pain have told Naruto to affect him this much. And then there was everything else like Sasuke.
Hinata had begun to walk the early morning streets and found herself to be not paying attention to where she was going and found herself hitting something, falling over only to be caught and then suddenly feel so safe as she recognized the presence she was in a moment after her subconscious.
Her cheeks heated up and she almost didn't notice the light dusting of Naruto's own cheeks.
*Back to present*
"Hehe," a nervous laugh came from the Blonde as Hinata snapped back to reality and she was pulled back to a proper balance. "Sorry about that, Hinata-chan, I kinda lost track of where I was going and what was in front of me."
Hinata smiled and nodded: "it's fine, Naruto-kun. I lost track of where I was and what was in front of me as well."
The silence between the two teens ensued and was almost tangible as either tried to find the right words to say and failed.
The silence was broken by a sound from both.
The teens were both rendered bright red in their faces after both of their stomachs rumbled, realizing that they hadn't had breakfast yet.
Though Naruto was more embarrassed over having it happened in front of Hinata, always trying his hardest to look cool for her.
Hinata was embarrassed for two reasons, standard societal conventions stated that such bodily sounds being heard was inappropriate and unladylike and she could feel the scary etiquette teacher lady leering at the Shy Hyuga with a scowl like she had done to one of the students who had a bad day and made such an incident during class.
That and it happened in front of Naruto which he might find to be a turn off on her being attractive or desirable which was a fear of the paranoid part of her that only existed when it came to Naruto.
Though part of her knew Naruto wouldn't judge.
Naruto laughed awkwardly: "Eh, looks like I'm not the only one who left home without breakfast. How about we go get some? Together." The already slight red tinge on Naruto's cheeks darkened ever so slightly.
Hinata's mind quickly jumped to an assumption and that made its way past her lips before she even had a chance to think: "Together? Like a date?" And immediately after Hinata covered her mouth and cheeks as her blushing turned crimson. Hope burning in Hinata's heart that Naruto had finally found his answer.
Naruto, for his part, managed to keep his blush under control and thought for a moment before nodding: "y-yeah, I mean like, y'know kinda." That was probably the most coherent sentence could get out in that moment. Hinata's question was tempting to answer as yes. But he didn't know if it was what he wanted. The blonde thought(a feat that many of his peers besides Hinata would have stated was beyond Naruto) and Naruto decided to see how it went before he made a decision about asking her out.
He knew she was someone he valued deeply and was one of the few he was comfortable letting the mask fall off in front of. But did he love her?
"Tell ya what...how about you pick out the place and I'll pay? Sound good." Naruto stated.
Hinata smiled and nodded and led Naruto to the place she wanted to eat at.
Hinata listened with complete focus as Naruto regaled her with a tale of his adventures while he had been gone for the 2 years. After breakfast had been finished.
The current one involved a village that had been taken over by missing nin from Ame, the leader of whom could summon a Conch who expelled a genjutsu laden mist similar to that of the Sanbi.
So many adventures, ones that Hinata only wished she could have been in on.
Hinata looked around as Naruto started finishing up his story and noticed the customers beginning to come in. It must have been breakfast hour now.
Hinata politely waited for Naruto to finished before she led him out.
Naruto seemed to be struggling with himself and Hinata asked: "Naruto-kun, what's wrong?"
Naruto shook his head: "nothing, just...I really enjoyed this y'know."
Hinata smiled: "so did I."
Naruto seemed like he wanted to avoid her gaze but instead looked her straight in the eye: "I don't know much about dating or love...but uh...would, y'know, like to go out with me?"
Hinata's breath caught in her throat and she stared, waiting for the punchline, but it never came.
'Naruto-kun is asking me out...NARUTO-KUN IS ASKING ME OUT!' Hinata screamed internally before she answered calmly, "I'd love to."
Naruto smiled: "Great. So, uh, is there anything you want to do right now? I think we have some time on our hands for a while."
Hinata nodded: "I think we have plenty of time for everything we want to do, but...for right now... there's only one thing I want to do..." Hinata said trailing off.
Naruto laughed: "And what would that b-" before he was cut off by Hinata grabbing his hand and interlocking their fingers and pulling him close, or rather pulling herself closer to him in all honesty.
With a slightly red look to both of their faces.
Naruto smiled widely and somewhat shyly: "I like this, I think your idea was better than anything I came up with." Hinata turned to him and smiled brightly and beautifully highlighted by her blush.
Naruto smiled contentedly before he remembered something: "Hey how's that stab doing?"
Hinata shifted a bit uncomfortably. "better…it's almost healed up. I'm supposed to go to have it looked at in a few days…to make sure its healing right…" She trailed off strangely.
Naruto shrugged as the two walked to a nice quiet and secluded spot to rest at.
What remained of Hinata's blush that survived the awkward moment highlighted a hit of food stuck to Hinata's lip. A detail that Naruto was about to use.
"You got a bit of food on you."
Hinata looked genuinely surprised and began wiping at her face with napkin before Naruto stopped her. "Allow me..." he said with a bit of swagger.
Hinata looked taken back but nodded and presented her face for him to clean the debris off.
And she just so happened to put her face close as Naruto planned.
Naruto cleaned the little bit off, before pulling her close and planting his lips on hers.
It was a soft and chaste kiss, but Naruto could hear Hinata's shocked gasp and feel her heart go crazy.
Naruto pulled back and almost apologized but stopped when Hinata's eyes made contact with his and he saw the pure joy and longing glowing in them.
Before he could even try to see if she wanted him to continue kissing, Hinata's slender hand reached behind his head and pulled his lips back into her own.
The kiss lasted for a moment before the two both slipped their tongues out and gave inviting licks to the other.
Strangely, they needed no conversation to reach a decision together.
Hinata withdrew her tongue as Naruto leaned in and his entered her mouth and began exploring, lingering briefly on her lips before entering.
Every corner of her mouth was explored and memorized, and Hinata initially just let him do as he wanted until he began prodding at her tongue.
Hinata eventually began playing, clashing her tongue with Naruto's own, at first out of frustration with him teasing her, before she began teasing him.
Hinata shifted from her seat to straddling Naruto's lap before she began pushing her boyfriend's tongue out of her mouth and kissed him before asking for entrance. Naruto playfully obliged and opened up.
Hinata tried to return the favor of what he had done with her but her nervousness began taking hold...what if they were taking things too far and too quickly?
Hinata almost pulled out and ended the make out, but Naruto groaned and it alerted her to just how excited he was.
He was excited over her.
He prodded her tongue, trying to encourage her to explore.
She eventually obliged.
Hinata timidly began exploring her new boyfriend's mouth.
Eventually Naruto stopped guiding her and prodding her on with gentle teasing and left Hinata to explore at her leisure.
Hinata carefully explored before she began finding her courage.
Naruto began interacting with her tongue, though Hinata at first meekly brushing before escalating to clashing and her overpowering Naruto's own tongue in a battle for dominance.
A loud groan from Naruto shocked Hinata back and had her looking at Naruto's star struck and very aroused face with a distinct blush.
Hinata almost went back in but saw the other customers coming in and decided to simply wait for Naruto to catch up to reality.
The moment he did, Hinata spoke: "Naruto-kun, why did you linger on my lips?"
Naruto sniffed: "I liked the taste. It tasted like Cinnamon and Ramen. Man, I wish I could get some Ramen like that, be the one way I could actually eat you."
Hinata blushed deeply and lightly slapped Naruto, "pervert" with a barely repressed smile on her face.
The two lovebirds did much with their newly realized relationship.
Naruto got dragged to Hinata's favorite sweet shop/ bakery and watched with bemusement as he ate the sweets at a subdued pace while Hinata scarfed those cinnamon rolls down and realized that this was what everyone else saw with him while eating ramen. (Iruka's off somewhere laughing his ass off)
The two had backed off from anything that required paying at the moment. Hinata realizing that money would be tight for Naruto considering that missions were mostly halted for now until further notice and Naruto refused to make Hinata pay for him on their romantic escapades.
The two desperately wanted something else to do while the day hadn't grown too late, it was starting to become twilight and soon it would be night.
Hinata had reassured Naruto that her father and family wouldn't mind her staying out late.
...though she may have left off that Neji had taken to acting like an overprotective older brother to her and Hanabi could be difficult with her teasing.
The two lovers were racking their brains on what they could do, before Hinata realized something simple: "We could just take a walk, we're not on active duty so we shouldn't get in trouble and as long as we stay within a reasonable distance, we should be fine."
The simplicity was great, but it didn't sound unappealing.
Naruto nodded with his signature vulpine grin: "Sounds great to me! Let's do it!"
The what felt like hours they spent alone together with only nature as their company served to strengthen their bond and deepen their understanding of one another.
They may have used the privacy to start engaging in displays of affection that they weren't ready to do in public just yet.
Though at one point, Naruto's caressing of Hinata got a little too involved and his touch reached an intimate area.
Hinata was shocked by Naruto's forwardness, like he was telling her how badly he wanted her, but she was also excited by it. Maybe they were moving a little fast considering how new the romantic aspect of the relationship was, but Hinata realized that in this moment she didn't care. She wanted him as bad as he wanted her.
A loud Groan came out from deep in Hinata, carrying all the pleasure she was feeling in the unusually deep sound for the girl.
Hinata's ecstatic groan just served to galvanize Naruto, his kissing became not just needy but hungry and his caressing of her privates became far more driven. He had been touching her through her clothes but now he wanted to feel beneath.
Hinata had unzipped her jacket and allowed it to slide down to her elbows at some point.
Naruto's hands had gone up her shirt and began groping her breasts, kneading the cushions with tender passion.
Hinata mewled as one of her favorite masturbatory fantasies began playing out, Naruto playing with her tits. The only thing that was missing was his mouth and tongue on them as his other hand began fingering her.
Eventually his hands decided to directly fondle her massive boobs directly and wiggled beneath her bra and began playing with the previously covered nipples.
Hinata felt goosebumps form as Naruto grinned and then began pinching her nipples after caressing them for a moment. Not hard but her sensitivity was heightened at the moment and thus she felt it more intensively than she would have otherwise.
Hinata screamed out in a mix of pain and pleasure, and both almost came from pleasure alone in that one moment.
Hinata made no attempt to dissuade anything else so Naruto took it as a sign to continue.
His hand snaked below her waistband.
Her moaning became louder as Naruto started rubbing her through the fabric of her panties, though he suddenly stopped after a minute, just when Hinata was sure he would have wormed under the fabric and begin touching her intimates directly, working them until either she orgasmed or Naruto decided to just take her.
Or if she decided to be bold and take initiative and take him. Put him on the ground and pull his pants down as she jerked down her own...
Hinata's mind just about gave in fully before the haze was broken.
"Why are you wet down there, Hinata-Chan? Did you have an accident?" Naruto said a little stupidly.
Hinata's lustful haze cleared and all she could do was blush in absolute embarrassment.
Hinata's hands retreated from Naruto as he looked at her confused but respected her wishes and pulled his hands off her, though the one groping her breast seemed very hesitant to leave.
His left hand brushed against a particular spot by accident.
"Hrgh…" Hinata grunted out in pain.
Naruto gasped but realized what had happened when he felt the uneven and rough spot on the otherwise soft and smooth skin.
He quickly retrieved his hand.
Hinata zipped her jacket up tightly and tried to cool off and deal with her embarrassment and nurse the pain in the spot where Pain had stabbed her through.
Naruto stared and swallowed: "Sorry about that…didn't mean to hurt you…though was it something I said that got you all embarrassed?"
Hinata didn't want to hurt him but...
"I'm sorry I said you had an accident." Naruto spoke as he scratched his head with his eyes downcast, his expression filled with such genuine shame.
Hinata tried to get his attention but realized with dismay that the mood had been lost.
"H-how about we keep walking?" Hinata asked shyly as Naruto nodded reservedly: "Yeah, let's go."
The two walked into a neck of woods and rivers that both remembered vividly, the woodland that the Bikochu search took them to so many years ago.
Both began instinctively walking to a certain location in the forest. A place special to both of them.
Both breathed out in awe and nostalgia at the beauty of the waterfall.
Though Hinata blushed as she remembered Naruto's admission that he had seen a girl dancing on the falls. Oblivious that the girl was her.
And Naruto frowned slightly. Hinata noticed and inquired. "Naruto-kun, what's wrong?"
Naruto looked surprised and somewhat guilty looking before he decided to respond: "Ya see, remember the Bikochu mission?" Hinata nodded, "Well, I remember telling y'all about the girl dancing on the waterfall…"
Hinata blushed ever so slightly but waited for him to continue, "Well, I thought she was the single most beautiful thing I had ever seen and…honestly I feel that way even now…"
Naruto trailed off with shame but Hinata blushed beautifully as she began realizing that Naruto held her as the most beautiful thing he had seen in his life.
She didn't have the courage to confess it that day, "Naruto-kun, I…I…" and this day she still couldn't say it. The words caught in her throat.
She needed him to know she was the girl who danced under the moon at the waterfall.
And her body began moving on its own.
The Shy Hyuga began stripping down.
Naruto almost spoke in confusion until Hinata silenced him. "I need you to trust me." With an unusually determined tone in her voice that left no room for argument.
By this point Hinata had stripped off of her jacket and removed her shoes.
Naruto swallowed thickly and nodded slowly,
Hinata smiled shyly but determinedly and spoke softly: "Thank you."
Hinata proceeded to pull down her pants and removed her shirt, exposing the comfortable but practical black bra and panties she wore underneath, the color of which contrasted well against both her skin's beautiful natural pallor and the Midnight Blue locks of hair on the Hyuga's head which made the blue of her hair all the more apparent.
Naruto blushed deeply at the half naked incarnated goddess before him, but that was before she turned towards him after having her back to him and showing her front.
Her massive bust was mouthwatering, the mounds were around the same size as Tsunade's own, maybe smaller or bigger but in this moment, Naruto couldn't care.
Her hips were just the right size as was her butt, all of which her panties helped emphasize.
Hinata blushed deeply as well but took notice of Naruto's own blush and his tenting pants.
Hinata almost walked to her stage began her performance but a thought in her mind stopped: 'it needs to be a complete encore, costume included…'
Hinata agreed with the errant thought.
Hinata reached behind her back and undid the clasp of her bra and carefully uncovered her rack before setting the removed undergarment into the neatly folded pile of clothes, giving Naruto a good view of her just before she did the same with her panties.
Naruto was vaguely familiar with how a woman's boobs were supposed to look in full display, though the ones before him were perfect as far as he was concerned. The pale pink flesh of both the areolas and nipples that tipped the milky pale mounds that had been exposed, both of which seemed almost painfully hard at the moment.
Hinata then hooked her hands into her panties at the hip and pulled them down. Exposing her nether region to the night air and to her lover's blushing but attentive gaze before placing it into her clothes pile.
Hinata stood and simply allowed Naruto's attention to wash over her for a few moments.
Hinata managed a small sly smile and spoke almost too innocently "Do you like what you see?"
Naruto nodded: "Y-yeah, a lot. Though why?"
Hinata closed her eyes and smiled: "I need to show you something, proof of how much I love you…"
Naruto's mind immediately jump to how that phrase had been used in Ero-Sennin's books, though strangely he wasn't disappointed when Hinata turned from him and walked to the falls.
Hinata jumped to the top of the rapids and took up a starting stance, her nerves were oddly calm at the moment but she knew that if she hesitated she would lose her nerve.
Hinata closed her eyes and slowly began to lose herself in the midst of the night, with the misted water, the warm breeze, the twinkling stars, and the beauty of the full moon.
The moment she opened them, she felt memories of that night from three years ago come rushing back.
Hinata grinned beautifully, and jumped into action.
Naruto had been deeply confused by Hinata suddenly deciding to strip down and even more to take a position on the falls with it all bared. But a deep sense of nostalgia resonated.
His confusion and nostalgia increased as she jumped into movement with such elegant movements.
'it's just like that girl…NO WAY!' and realization had come to the Blonde. Coming with the familiar twirls and leaps and pirouettes framed by the full moon's pale light.
Images of that angelic dance from years ago, the shadowed silhouette he couldn't make out before now imposed with his memories of Hinata's appearance from that time and it fit all too perfectly.
Caught in a trance, all Naruto could focus on was this elegant display.
Hinata's landings and subsequent leaps were so brief and elegant that it was like she never even touched the ground…er well, the water surface in this case.
How long had this gone on for? Hours, minutes? Neither audience nor performer could tell.
The beauty of this moment captivated them both.
But like all good things, it had to come to an end…
Hinata ended the performance by leaping down to the basin beneath falls before striking a finished pose.
The roar of the falls and the sounds of nature being an applause of sorts.
But Naruto's awe-struck gaze was the resounding cheer to a stunning performance.
Naruto stared at Hinata and drank every detail.
The shifting of her buxom chest as she panted, the cheeks flush from exertion, the layer of moisture covering her consisting of both water from falls and sweat, even the somewhat matted mess her elegant hairstyle had become.
But one thing his mind registered, despite his enthrallment with the perfection of the image, was the one imperfection made all the more apparent by its presence on otherwise perfection.
A slit and slightly discolored incision with stitching pulling tightly, with the skin between the loops of stitching just barely looking as though it had healed enough to keep blood and other fluid from oozing out.
Naruto's awe gave way to protective concern. "What were you thinking doing that? I can tell that injury looks like it could rip open it pressed just right, even with the stitches. Remember earlier when just touching it caused you to wince like you did?"
Hinata's elation sobered out: "I remember. I was cleared for training and stressful activity. I was thinking I needed to let you know it was me who you saw dance on that night…"
Naruto's mind went back to earlier, "Why were you uncomfortable talking about the scar?"
Hinata tenderly rubbed at the scar beneath her left breast: "My appointment is meant to make sure the scar is healed up entirely, including skin grafting to ensure that full integrity is restored, which remove all visible sign of the scar."
Naruto eyed her confusedly: "And that's a problem?"
Hinata nodded somberly, "I wanted to keep it, but they said it was a bad idea to keep a scar when it could be healed entirely. Scar tissue is weaker than healthy skin tissue."
Naruto thought for a moment: "I thought most girls didn't like things disfiguring them?"
Hinata retorted "Most do. I'm not most, I wanted to keep it as proof of what I did for the man I love."
Naruto was awed by the admission and decided it was time he properly answered.
Naruto removed both his top layers and sandals before joining Hinata on the water surface beneath the falls, clad only in boxers.
Naruto kissed her passionately before speaking. "Hehe, I guess this is what love really feels like huh? You're willing to do things you usually won't for those you hold precious. I've been doing that for a long time with you. I go outta my way to help all my friends, a lot of people honestly, I know what it's like to not have anyone, but for you: I go well above and beyond for. For you I go well above and beyond for…have been going since a long time, without even noticing it but right now, it's clear like a sunny day to me. Whenever you were hurt, I have felt like it was me being beaten up and honestly even worse than what you got: back in the academy, during the Chunin exams, during your fights with the Kamizuru Shinobi, that fat fool with magnet release and lastly this one…
…Every time I have seen you hurt, I have felt this unbearable pain inside. And every time I have seen your smile, I have felt relief, a degree of relief I haven't felt ever before. Spending time with you makes me happy, so incredibly happy and this happiness is deeper, deeper than the ones I get by spending time with friends, completing missions or having ramen.
Hinata-chan, for a long time, I have been afraid of my future, my life without someone to hold my hand and walk with me. But what I fear the most is a world without you.
I can't imagine a life without you and I have no doubt that I won't be able to live such a life."
Naruto swept Hinata off her feet and bridal carried her back to shore all while tears fell down both ninjas' cheeks.
"But now that I know how much you love me, how much you want me, I am relieved, knowing that you will be with me, that I can be with you forever. Now I am no longer afraid to live, because I love you, my Hime."
Hinata wrapped her arms around Naruto's neck and cried softly for a moment as Naruto reached the shore and their clothes pile.
Hinata began shifting her body to rub her breast on Naruto.
Hinata began speaking softly: "Thank you…You don't know how happy it makes me to hear you say that."
Naruto smiled gently before he felt goosebumps at seeing Hinata's face and the mischievous smile on her lips: "I've shown you everything I am. I know you want to do the same for you."
Naruto gulped but nodded.
Almost as if reading his mind, Hinata stretched over to Naruto's ear, close enough for Naruto to hear her light breathing, "And if you want to go all the way, Then I'm all yours."
And she said it as her hand snuck beneath black boxers that featured a toad eating ramen.
