Danny's Other Choice - Part 1 of 10 - Desiree

How much would Danny Phantom's life have changed if he had taken a different decision? How much would that one single decision eventually lead him to fall in love with someone else and not Sam? In this part, we explore how Danny would end up with... the genie-ghost, Desiree. Rated M but most of the story is T-rated.

As this is the first part of a series of one-shots, I will explain to you guys how these stories will work out:

Danny will make a different choice, which'll change his life. And by changing his life, I mean Danny will end up with a different female character than Sam Manson.

Though the series of one-shots are M-rated cause of some sexual content, as a little compromise to those who don't like to read too much sexy stuff, I will put a warning for all those scenes so that you guys can skip them if you want ;)

In the Ghost-Zone, inside Clockwork's lair, the time ghost was looking into his viewscreen, seeing Danny Phantom flying off with his goth friend, now his girlfriend, Samantha Manson in his arms. Only a few days ago, Danny Fenton, aka Danny Phantom had saved the world from the Disasterroid, thanks to the help of all the ghosts and had now revealed the world his secret identity and the entire world population now worshipped him as one of the greatest heroes they'd ever known.

As the master of time, Clockwork knows all too well how this future will play out for Danny. He and Sam will stay together, all the way up to college, getting married and have children who've the same powers as their father.

However, despite that Clockwork can see into the past, present and future, he also has the ability to see into alternate futures. But as these are mostly old news, Clockwork barely pays any attention to those alternate timelines as they won't come to pass. But in Danny's case, his alternate futures were somehow interesting to watch.

As he moves his time-staff, Clockwork flips through many images throughout Danny's life "One different choice… one different approach… by either him, his friends or someone else in his life, can change so much for Daniel." He stops with an image of when Danny and Sam meet as kids at second grade, till the image chances into Sam being 14 years old "And some of those choices would have resulted that Danny Fenton and Samantha Manson would never have ended up together."

Then, Clockwork looks at the audience, breaking the fourth wall with a grin on his face "So… why don't we all take a look at how Danny's life would have been, if he'd ended with… a different girl."

Clockwork swifts his time-staff through the viewscreen, showing the many possibilities that Danny, his friends, family or anyone else could have taken, which resulted that Danny Phantom's love life and thus his whole life would have changed forever….

Danny's other choice

Part 1

Desiree

Danny and Tucker were at the Amity Park Swap Meet, where people could buy or sell their stuff on the flee market. Both wanted to buy a package of roller skate wheels. The two boys glanced at each other, with Danny suggesting "Two for me, two for you?"

"Sounds fair." Tucker shrugged as they paid for the roller skate wheels, sharing it equally.

As they'd been knowing each other since second grade, Danny and Tucker share everything. Well… mostly, as Danny on the other hand, has ghost powers.

Danny and Tucker bypassed a booth called 'Madam Babazita's Mystical Oddities'. Tucker picked up one of the genie bottles Babazita had for sale and took a look at it.

Seeing he didn't needed a genie bottle, Tucker politely declined the offer "A genie in a bottle? I don't think so." He puts the bottle down "Thanks, anyway."

The two boys moved on, seeing what else there was for sale on the flee market. They bypassed a snack stand where a lady was preparing cotton candy and gave one to a costumer.

Right at that moment, a young mom and her toddler daughter, who has a balloon tied around her wrist, walked past Danny and Tucker in the opposite direction, bypassing the snack stand, where the young girl begged her mother as she pointed to the snack stand "Please, Mommy! Please, Mommy, can I have some cotton candy, please, please, please, please?"

Her mother however narrowed her eyes "I think you've had enough sugar today."

"I want it! I want it! I want it!" the little girl cried while reaching for the cotton candy, but as she and her mother bypassed Babazita's booth, her balloon string catches on the genie bottle that Tucker looked at before, knocking it to the ground, breaking it, and a green mist rises up, forming the beautiful and gorgeous genie-ghost, Desiree.

"And your heart's desire is my command." Desiree says before flying to the snacks stand, using her powers to cause the cotton candy machine to overload, spewing huge amounts of cotton candy into the sky and all over the swap meet and its attendees.

All the people ran away in panic as the cotton candy overflows the flee market. Danny saw what had happened after his Ghost Sense warned him and instantly transformed into his ghost alter ego: Danny Phantom.

But as Danny flies up into the air to face the genie-ghost, he, for a short moment, was astounded by her beauty, making his hormones go crazy as in his mind, the halfa admired the beautiful shape of the green skin colored ghost. But leaving these things out of his mind as she could be dangerous, Danny wouldn't take any chances but mentally asked himself 'Why am I thinking of all this? She's a ghost, and a powerful one it seems.'

Smiling to Danny, Desiree asked him "I am Desiree. What is your wish?"

Though in Danny's mind, his response would be: I can think of a few ways what I want, he instead answered coldly with a serious face "None of your business, Candy Pants."

Desiree however could sense that there was something that the ghost boy desired, so, with a smile, she reaches out to Danny's chest "Surely there must be something…"

Out of instinct, Danny backed away "Hey, get away!" and a ghost ray begins to ball up in his hand and shoots it at Desiree, sending her into the distance.

Danny looked surprised at his glowing hand "What the heck? Is this… a new ghost power?"

Normally, as he thought that the danger was gone, considering that Desiree was send into the distance, Danny would call it a day as he wanted to just enjoy being a teenager other than just keep being the hero all the time. But this time, Danny felt somehow that he had to stop Desiree.

Down below, Tucker, who'd seen his best friend fighting the ghost, said enthusiastic "That was slamming! Whatever that was. You've got another power?"

Again, Danny looks at his hand "I guess." But then Danny stared back at the distance, forming some determination in him.

As Danny was about to fly away, Tucker asked "Hey, were are you going?"

"Going after that genie-ghost, that's what I'm doing!" Danny called back as he flew to where he'd shot Desiree to.

Tucker was baffled for a moment, but seeing that his best friend wants to be sure to keep the town safe by sending that new ghost back to where she belongs, he gave a shrug and left the area.

It didn't took long for Danny to find Desiree, as she flew around town, granting people's wishes, which caused some chaos along with it.

As Danny stopped Desiree in her tracks, he calls "Okay, Desiree, time for you to-" but then he realizes that he doesn't have the Fenton Thermos with him "Oh, crap! I left the Thermos with Tucker!"

Desiree frowned at Danny and forms a giant hammer out of her right hand "You dare to lay a hand on me!? No man may lay a hand on me unless I wish it!"

Danny quickly avoided her attack and fired another ghost ray from his hand, hitting her dead on, sending her flying backwards hitting the wall of a building. This act only made Desiree angrier as she fires her own series of ghost rays at Danny, hitting him a few times.

Danny had to think fast before she would escape. He had an idea as he notices that his parents' home was only a few blocks from where they were. He formed a grin and called to Desiree, challenging her "Ha! Is that the best you can do? Bet you cannot hit anything with that fat butt of yours."

Desiree gasped before frowning in anger and her eyes glowed red "I'll show you, child!" and lunches unto Danny, making him fly away fast, right to his parents place.

'Okay, all you've got to do is lure her close enough to the ghost portal, and-' Danny mentally thought before Desiree caught him from behind with a lasso and swings him up in the air before throwing him into Fenton Works while Danny became intangible, phased through the roof and crashed into his room!

Danny groans as he tries to stand up "Urgh! Okay, maybe insulting her wasn't such a good idea." He said himself before Desiree phased into his room, becoming tangible as was ready to face him.

Danny yelped before turning tangible and avoided Desiree's grasp and quickly flew down into the floor, heading to his parents lab where he turned back tangible. Luckily for Danny, the portal was open. Then, behind him, Desiree, still in her angry mode, fires a series of ghost rays at Danny, who barely was able to dodge them. But one shot suddenly hits the controls of the ghost portal, causing it to malfunction and explodes, causing Danny and Desiree to be thrown away cause of the shockwave, crashing into the floor.

Danny looks and sees to his shock that the portal was destroyed "Oh crap! Now what am I supposed to do?"

"Pay for insulting me," Desiree says furiously "AND FOR TOUCHING ME WITHOUT ME WISHING IT!" she then lunches unto Danny, grabbing him and pins him down to the floor!

Desiree glows even redder eyes as she towers over him while Danny struggles to get loose "Aah! Can't break free! Can't go intangible and escape!"

Desiree forms a smirk "Ha! You can't do anything unless I wish it!"

Then, Danny spots another Fenton Thermos, lying on the ground nearby without the cap 'Yes! I knew my dad had another spare thermos in here!' Danny mentally thought while thinking fast before Desiree would kill him as she raised her other fist, materializing it into a sword! Being out of options, Danny yelled at Desiree "Dammit! I wish you would disappear inside that thermos!" he pointed to the Fenton Thermos.

Desiree was shocked when Danny made that wish "What? Nooo! I must obey." She sadly calls out before she materializes into a green mist, disappearing into the thermos "Aaaaaah…!"

Danny sighs in relief as he stands up and took the thermos, placing the cover on it "Gotcha!" He said proudly. But then Danny looks at the destroyed Fenton Portal, seeing it was beyond repair, making it impossible for him to send the genie-ghost back into the Ghost-Zone.

Suddenly, Danny heard his father, Jack calling upstairs "Hey! What's going on down there!?" he and his wife Maddie ran down the stairs.

Danny quickly became intangible and flew away, phasing through the ceiling.

As Jack and Maddie came into the Fenton Lab, both were shocked that the portal was destroyed, alongside nearly half of the lab. Jack drops on his knees and called out dramatically "Noooooooooooooooooo!"

With Desiree now locked away inside the Fenton Thermos, more chaos and destruction was avoided thanks to Danny's sudden choice of going after the genie-ghost and captured her. But with the Fenton Portal destroyed, there was no way that Danny could send Desiree back into the Ghost-Zone, for now…

While everything sorta went its usual way, and with his parents mostly occupied with repairing the Fenton Portal (which would take a few months), Danny and his friends had some time to be normal teenagers, and for Danny to learn to control his powers as no ghosts were able to invade Amity Park with the Fenton Portal temporarily out of service.

It had only been a few days, and Danny, now sitting in his room, was thinking of something for hours while looking at the Fenton Thermos at his desk where Desiree was still locked away inside.

Since he became curious to who this genie-ghost was, Danny had today a talk with Babazita at the flee market, where the old women told some parts of Desiree's backstory. Apparently, Desiree was a harem girl who won the heart of a sultan. But the sultan's jealous wife casted her away from the palace. Not much was known what happened to Desiree afterwards, other than that she died shortly after from a broken heart. After that, he spirit would wander the world and granting people's desires, but at a great personal cost.

But when Danny asked how Desiree was locked away in that oil lamp that got broken the other day, Babazita was unsure, but stated that all the genie bottles she owns have been in her family for many generations, so she guessed that maybe one of her ancestors probably was able to capture her but never mentioned about her to anyone.

So now, Danny for some reason began to question his actions, as during his latest fight with Vlad Plasmius, the Dairy King ghost was kind enough to free him and stated that not all ghosts are evil as some just want to be left alone. Danny began to think that perhaps some ghosts are technically good. So, if he fought every ghost he came across with, would that make him a better person than them? However, that still wouldn't explain why all the ghosts, good and evil, would invade Amity Park all the time.

Danny picks up the Fenton Thermos from his closet and held it in his hands. As he glanced at it, Danny frowned before saying to himself "Okay, Danny, this is probably the most reckless idea you've ever come up with. But if this is the only way to get to know more about what other ghosts are out there, and possibly learn more to control her powers, perhaps this genie-ghost can help me with that?" he first ensured himself, before he gulped and removed the cap 'I hope I know what I'm doing.' He mentally thought with worry.

Once he'd fully released Desiree, the genie-ghost looked around in confusion before spotting Danny. She growled at him for locking her up in the thermos for days "You!" She was about to materialize two large hammers out of her hands "You shall pay for locking me away in that-"

"Not so fast, Desiree." Danny said before making a wish "I wish that you won't attack me!"

Desiree looked at him surprised, before turning her hands back to normal, as she had no choice but to grant that wish. She then frowned at him "Fine, you win this round, ghost brat."

"I also wish you stay within 100 feet to the Fenton Thermos you were locked in." Danny added.

Desiree did so, which frustrated her.

"And I also wish that you won't attack me or anyone else, and you cannot use your powers to cause any chaos or whatsoever. Furthermore, I wish that you can only grant my wishes and no one else's, you will respect and obey my commands, and cannot tell anybody about my secret identity being a half-ghost under any circumstances. And finally, I wish that all the wishes I've asked so far from you, will remain until I wish to release you from your service to me."

Being forced to grant all those wishes, forcing her to be Danny's 'personal genie', Desiree did soo "Urgh! I… don't want to, but…! So you've wished it… so shall it be!" She raised her hands who glowed with purple energy, casting lots of energy to herself and Danny, granting his wishes. As the wishes were now granted, Desiree was mad at him "What do you think you're doing to me, child?!"

"Well, Desiree, I couldn't have you attacking me or wandering off to cause trouble around town, so those wishes are for my safety measures." Danny answered before telling her the reason why he let her out "Look, the reason I released you is because I need some help with fighting other ghosts. And since you're the perfect candidate for that, I'd like to make you a proposal."

Desiree however crossed her arms, still being mad at Danny for being forced to be his servant "And why should I even listen to you? You're the one who bond me to be your slave!"

Danny looked surprised at her, as it was not his intention to make her his personal slave 'Oh geez, this is not how I hoped it would turn out.' So, trying to calm her down, he states "Look, I know you don't like where you are right now, I get it, but since what I propose could benefit the both of us, I just want you to listen to me."

Feeling somehow intrigued what Danny had to offer, calmed Desiree a bit before asking "And what proposal is that?"

"Well, like I said: Since there are probably more powerful ghosts than you around, I need some help to fight them off if they ever come to the real world." Danny stated before giving shrug "Honestly, I don't even control all my powers yet, nor I even know what else I can do. So, what I propose is that you help me with fighting off ghosts, give me advice from time to time when I need it and you help me to control my powers."

Desiree looked at him with an raised eyebrow, and asked with a serious tone "And what do I get in exchange while serving and guiding you, child?"

Danny formed a small smile and said "Well, you… you can…" Danny then became nervous 'Crap! I didn't think that one through!' thinking fast, he just called out "I'll return your freedom once I'm sure that you've changed enough to see that the world isn't such a terrible place to live in and not all people are as evil as the ones before you've granted wishes and took your for granted!"

That surprised Desiree, while Danny felt some nervous in him.

Desiree then frowned at him again "You cannot possibly know the pain that I've been going through, ghost child, or that I will chance my opinion on how the world works," Then she sighed "But since I have no choice in the matter, thanks to your wishes… I will obey your orders. I am bound to you… as your humbled slave."

Danny shook his hands as he raised his hands "Hey, don't see that you're my slave, or anything. Just see that you're my guest, who helps me and guide me from time to time."

Desiree rolled her eyes "To me, that's still being forced to obey your commands, and that's still slavery."

Though she did had a point, Danny then asked while holding out his hand to her "So… do we have a deal?"

While thinking it over and knowing she didn't had much of a choice, Desiree reluctantly shook his hand "Deal."

Once they finished shocking hands, Danny nodded "Glad you took my offer, Des."

Desiree sighs while rolling her eyes "Well, It's not like that I have much of a choice or saying in the matter, but if this is the way to gain back my freedom, I will do as you command of me, master."

Not sure how to answer, Danny just says "Well… glad to hear that. And, you can call me Danny. Just Danny."

Desiree made a small bow "Of course, master Danny."

Seeing she will call him master anyway, Danny gave a shrug "Eh, close enough." Then Danny stated "Okay, then, my humble servant, since you're going to stay with me for some time, I want to set up a few rules. Rule number 1: My ghost powers are my ultimate secret to be kept. You cannot tell anybody about them under any circumstances." He stated, telling her his first rule.

Desiree nodded "Yes, master Danny. And as I remember, you already have made that wish."

"Oh, right." Danny said embarrassed, but then he returned to his serious stance "Alright, then… Rule number 2: You will not expose yourself. Unless I'm alone in the room or any place where I take you with me, you have to stay inside the thermos, and you need to go back in if anybody's ever coming to me or going inside my room when we're here. Rule number 3: You will not hurt or main me, my family or my friends in any way. And Rule number 4: Try to answer my questions to the best of your abilities, okay? If I need all the help I can to learn about other ghosts, then you need to provide that help anyhow."

Seeing that Desiree understood all the ground rules that her new master set up for her, she gave a nod "As you wish… master Danny. I'm fully yours to command."

However, seeing that Desiree was still not comfortable with being Danny's personal guide/servant/genie, he felt he owned her at least to feel a bit more comfortable, as she's his guest after all "Look, Des… I don't want you to feel like that I'm just like the past jerks you've dealt with before. You can still have a say in things, to share your ideas. Well, as long as most of your ideas don't involve by using my friends and family like pawns to cause more chaotic vengeance, that is."

That made Desiree to think for a moment, even though she was at least a bit happy that she was still allowed by her new master to share her ideas and opinions and stated "Hmmm… well for the time being, you might not want to ask me too much of my personal opinions, master Danny. I've spend nearly a thousand years as a spirit who's kindness has been taken granted for far too long and wouldn't think twice then to cause chaos and destruction to all those filthy and lustful men who took advantage of me, that's not something that'll change overnight."

Danny did form a smile after Desiree was being honest to him "Well… I do appreciate you at least being honest about your feelings." Then he ensured her with a bit enthusiasm "But hey, who knows? With time and patience, we might just be able to turn that evil frown upside down, right?"

Desiree just glanced at him for a short time while thinking 'What is with this ghost child? Why is he so… nice?'. But leaving these thoughts out of her head, she just humbly said as she noticed that it was getting late "…goodnight, master Danny. I'll be in the thermos if you need me."

At first, Danny was going to send Desiree back into the Fenton Thermos, he mentally thought 'Hmmm… I probably shouldn't do this… but… I gotta do something to show her I'm trying my best to be a better person than those awful men she talks about.'. So, he asked her "Uhm… Desiree, before I send you back into the thermos…?"

Desiree sighed "Yes, master, do you require an additional round of service before slumber?"

Danny shook his head "Oh, no, it's just something I thought of that would be beneficial for you."

Desiree looked at him with some confusion before Danny made a wish "Desiree… I wish that the inside of the thermos was more accommodating to live in for you."

This surprised Desiree greatly, as her new master actually made a wish for her, like it was some sort of gift "A wish? Master, I… you didn't have to…" but then she smiled and raised her right hand while it glowed with purple energy "But, so you've wished it… so shall it be." And then surrounded the thermos with the same ghostly energy for a few seconds.

Danny then asked with curiosity as he glanced down at the thermos "Was that it? Did it work?"

Desiree gave a shrug, still showing a small smile on her face "I believe so. I sort of provided myself with some much needed space by creating a tiny pocket dimension within the thermos. See it as a very large room with all the antiques and stuff you find in a sultan's palace."

"Hmmm, sounds nice. I hope you'll enjoy it?" Danny asked with a smile.

"Uhmm… yes, well…" she cleared her throat before saying "…thank you, master Danny. I… appreciate the wish you gave for me to feel myself more comfortable in my new little home."

Danny gave a shrug "Anytime, Des. Well, uhm… goodnight then."

"Yes. Goodnight, master."

Danny then removed the cap from the thermos and sended Desiree back into it.

As soon as Desiree arrived back in the thermos, the genie-ghost glanced around her new little home, finding it greatly in her liking as it was close to how it was when she still lived in the sultan's palace, but adding her own style to it. She relaxed herself as flew down on a very soft bed with lots of pillows, sighing as she relaxed herself while watching the ceiling and ate a few grapes. She then started talking to herself of how nice Danny was towards her, even making a wish for her "The ghost boy, Danny, sure seems nicer than any other men I've encountered. He's still a naïve and insolent child of course… but he's actually rather… solicitous for a slave master, surprisingly."

And so, now with Desiree bond to serve Danny in any way she can, even granting a few wishes when he required, the genie-ghost provided the halfa the next several days with much information about the Ghost-Zone itself and the ghosts that roam within it. Though there are far too many ghosts to count, Desiree stated that all ghosts have different powers and abilities, according to concepts or desires through their hearts and minds before they died. As some ghosts have their roots bound to magic, there are others who manifest their powers through different facets of life.

While listening to Desiree's talking about all these things about the ghosts, especially the more powerful ones, with a few that he'd already encountered, Danny then wandered and asked Desiree "Uhm, Desiree? Why is it that the ghosts constantly want to enter the real world?"

Desiree narrowed her eyes as she stated "Well, master Danny, have you ever been in the Ghost-Zone before?"

"Uhm… not really, no." Danny answered as he'd indeed never visited the Ghost-Zone before. Then he asked "Is it… I don't know, that bad where you and the others come from?"

That made Desiree frown at Danny "It's absolutely the most horrible, horrifying and chaotic place you can imagine, master Danny!" But then gave a shrug "Well, not as bad as suffering for all eternity in the never ending flames of Hell, but it's certainly the last place you want to end up in when you die."

Hearing how bad the Ghost-Zone can actually be, made Danny feel sorry for Desiree somehow, and even felt sorry for the ghosts who are technically forced to live there. But being curious how bad it is, he asked her "Well then… how bad is it? Can you describe it for me in more detail and… aren't there any real nice things to be found in the Ghost-Zone?"

Desiree sighed "…Well first of all, the Ghost-Zone is extensively vast. Perhaps even infinite and endless supply of black void, filled by swirls of green fog. You can never be too on guard when you're there, as there are dozens of mindless beasts and empty souls looking to rip your ectoplasmic form apart just for the sake of it." then she shrugged "Of course, there are certain territories marked off for more powerful ghosts, such as myself. So, your best bet is to stay within your own designated zone if you can." Then she shook her head, feeling a bit sorry for some unfortunate ghosts "Most ghosts who are unfortunate will end up to either become prisoners of Walker's jail or become trophies for Skulker's collection."

"My God, Desiree. That's… horrible." Danny states in both surprise and shock of what it's truly like in the Ghost-Zone and what many ghosts have to go through.

Desiree nodded as she then answered Danny's other question "Yes. And to answer if there are any nice things in the Ghost-Zone, I'm afraid you'll be very disappointed." She then smiled "The human world is so much more fun!"

That made Danny to narrow his eyes as he reminded her "(ahem) Cursing people with magic wishes is not something considered fun, Desiree."

"Oh, it is fun when a man, blinded by his selfish desires, being crushed by its own demise." Desiree fired back with a grin.

Danny sighed 'Desiree did had a point about herself. She truly isn't someone who would have a chance of heart overnight. This is gonna take a while.'

Leaving this out for now, Danny suggested "So… any chance you can help me to control my powers?"

Desiree gave a nod "Yes, master. As your humble servant, I'm bound to help you in controlling your powers."

Danny smiled "Great! Then… get into the thermos and we'll get going. I know a good place where we can practice."

Doing as what she's told, Desiree returned inside the Fenton Thermos while Danny transformed into his ghost form and flew up, turning tangible as he phased through the wall, leaving his home and headed to a more remote location, away from all the people.

While Desiree kept her part of the bargain to give Danny advice from time to time how to control his powers, and possible develop some new ones, Danny began to think about the ghosts that are apparently suffering in the Ghost-Zone, which would make more sense on why they constantly invade the human world when they can.

Theorizing that instead he doesn't have to fight the other ghosts every time, but helping them instead so they can at least have some happiness too, Desiree just gave a shrug as it might be helpful, though the genie-ghost doesn't support Danny's hopeless crusade to defend Amity Park.

Just a few days after Danny's talk with Desiree about helping some ghosts instead of fighting all of them no matter their intensions, Danny's parents had rebuild the Fenton Portal, which lead to some ghosts escaping into the human world again.

But now trying to be more diplomatic and not using physical force the entire time, Danny was able to at least calm down a few ghosts and even making compromises with them to allow them to spend at least some time in the human world, without causing chaos and destruction, before returning them to the Ghost-Zone. Though most ghosts wouldn't listen, Danny would keep trying to find a solution instead of going into the attack immediately. Even Desiree was surprised that Danny at least tried to help the ghosts instead of fighting them head on, but wouldn't hesitate to do so if any of the ghosts wouldn't listen to him.

And so, as the weeks went by, Desiree became more friendly towards Danny.

However, Danny's changing ways of how handling the ghosts wasn't getting unnoticed, as Sam and Tucker wandered why Danny was now acting like this instead of going 'all-superhero' like he used to.

One day, Sam decided to get to the bottom of this and confront Danny.

Sam marched through the streets, heading towards Fenton Works. Tucker went after her, trying to ease the situation "Sam, wait up!" When he caught up with her, he said "Look, maybe there is a reason why Danny isn't fighting ghosts all the time. Maybe he's just trying a different approach?"

Sam stopped and glanced at Tucker with a serious look "Are you kidding me?! Danny has been doing this for months! First he helped Penelope Spectra with a new body, then that flamer rocker Ember McLame was allowed to sing her hypnotic song in front of the whole world-"

"But, Danny send her back to the Ghost-Zone after that, right?" Tucker stated, interrupting Sam, reminding her that even though Ember had billions of people under her control cause of her song 'Remember' during her concert, Danny 'escorted' her back to the Ghost-Zone after that, with Ember promising she won't try to rule the world as long as she could sing her songs to the people in the human world.

Sam however continued on "And now he's been friendly with Johnny 13 and his freaking biker-girlfriend Kitty!? Something's messed up here, Tucker and I'm going to his place and demand him to tell us the truth!" and then head on to Fenton Works.

Tucker then held up a flyer that Sam had dropped a few streets back, saying that Circus Cothica is coming to town by tomorrow. Tucker narrowed his eyes as this was something typical of Sam to go to.

When they arrived at the Fenton residence, they walked up to the front door as Sam knocked on it.

It wasn't long before Maddie opened the door and said with a smile "Oh, hi Sam and Tucker."

"Is Danny home?" Sam demanded "We need to talk to him."

Tucker however added "More or like, Sam needs to talk to him." which causes Sam to give Tucker an elbow.

Maddie first raised an eyebrow, but then smiled again "Danny is upstairs in his room. But he's really busy with his homework-"

Sam went inside, not allowing Maddie to complete her sentence and walked up the stairs. Tucker went after her.

In Danny's room, he and Desiree had a few share of laughs while eating together some of fancy foods that Danny had wished for after being curious to what exotic foods the sultan from Desiree's past had in his palace. But as the food was a lot, Desiree had materialized Danny's room like a giant ballroom.

"I gotta tell you, this is the greatest food I've ever tasted, Des." Danny said while taking a bite from the kebab.

Desiree smiled at him "It's been my pleasure, master Danny. And I'm glad that you enjoy this meal." And took something that looked like lamp meat.

Danny, while still enjoying the food, looked at Desiree while mentally thinking as he formed a small smile 'It's great that Desiree is finally being friendly towards me. I got to admit, it took some time, but I'm glad to see that Desiree is showing a bit more kindness, especially since she helped me with fighting those ghosts who couldn't be reasoned with.' That was when Desiree turned herself to pour in some Arabic coffee in a cup, Danny couldn't help himself but to… admire the ghost-genie's gorgeous body 'Man… just look at her. She might be a ghost with a taste for vengeance against dirty men, but… who wouldn't turn their heads away from her.' Thinking about these things made Danny blush as he checked her from top till bottom 'Her beautiful long black hair… perfect shaped body… perfect a-' he interrupted himself when he realized what he was thinking about and turned his head away out of embarrassment 'Shit! What the hell are you thinking, Danny Fenton!?'

Danny then sighed while saying to himself under his breath "Those damn teenage hormones. Why can't I control myself? I mean, I am trying to show Desiree that I'm different, right?"

When Danny turned his head back to Desiree, the genie-ghost raised an eyebrow at him as she'd noticed him looking away for some reason "Is… everything alright, master Danny? You seems so… distracted."

Trying to look for an excuse, Danny tried to say "Oh, uhm… I was just, uhm… thinking about something, that's all." He finished with a small nervous smile.

Curious to what her master was thinking about, Desiree asked "And what were you thinking about, if I may ask, master?"

Danny had no idea what to say now and began to blush "Uuuuhm… well, I-"

Suddenly, there was a heavy knock on the door "Danny! Are you in there?!"

Hearing it was Sam, made Danny to yelp "Oh crap, it's Sam!" he then quickly turned to Desiree, tasking her "Desiree, I wish my room to be turned back to normal and you back in the thermos, pronto!"

Desiree quickly nodded and snapped her fingers, turning Danny's room back to the way it was and all the food gone before she materialized into a green mist and quickly flew back into the Fenton Thermos on Danny's desk.

Sam opened the door, seeing Danny standing in the middle of the room with a nervous smile on his face while he sweat. Confused, Sam asked while she and Tucker went inside "To who were you talking just now?"

Danny blinked his eyes while nervously saying while stuttering "Uh-u-u-u-uhm, oh I was j-just uhm…" he then leaned his elbow to the wall, trying to act like it was no big deal "Nobody. I was… talking to myself!"

Tucker raised an eyebrow as he was unsure of what Danny said, while Sam was not so easy to be convinced and asked him with some suspicious while folding her arms "Oh really? Then why did you call out to this 'nobody' to wish your room back to the way it was and a small purple flash came from your room?"

Danny started to sweat "Wait, you… you heard that?"

Sam frowned at him "Of course I heard that. Why wouldn't I?"

"I… uhm…"

"Danny, what the heck is going on with you?" Sam demanded from him and stated "First you don't fight ghosts the way you always have, and now you let some ghosts roam free and befriend with them?!"

Tucker then added, feeling a bit the same way "Yeah. Honestly, Danny, your different behavior really surprises us. Normally I would support you for the most part, but I have to agree with Sam on this. You've changed, bro."

"Is there something we need to know!?" Sam demanded to know from Danny again.

Not sure how to get himself out of this, Danny was quiet for a moment. Though he was going to tell Sam and Tucker some day that Desiree has been helping him for some time, Danny was unsure if he was going to say it to his best friends as he was unsure how they would react to this.

Finally, Danny sighed as he took the Fenton Thermos from his desk and said "Well… there is something I have to tell you guys. I was planning to tell you sooner, but…"

"But what?" Sam asked.

"Well… maybe I was making excuses of not telling because I didn't know how to explain it, or I was a bit scared how you both would respond to this."

This raised an eyebrow from both his two best friends, with Tucker ensuring him "Danny, we are your best friends. What's there to be so scared off that you won't tell us?"

Sam then got really suspicious about this but then figured why Danny was talking to himself "Wait a minute. Are you… dating a ghost girl?!"

That made Danny baffled but try to tell "What? No no no no, it's not like that!" but then thought "Well… sort off, but not in a dating kind of thing."

"Then what?! What the heck is going on that you won't tell us, Danny?!"

Danny sighed before holding the Thermos up and asked his friends "Okay… I'll show you guys. But you have to promise you won't freak out."

Sam didn't gave a response, while Tucker gave a shrug and said "Sure dude."

Danny gave a nod and then said to the thermos while stroking it "Desiree, I allow you to show yourself to my two friends, Sam and Tucker, who are here with me in my room. But my other rules for not causing harm or chaos still stands."

Sam and Tucker shared a weird glance to each other before returning their glance to Danny, who released some strange green mist from the thermos as Desiree softly said "As you wish, master Danny." The mist then materialized into Desiree, revealing herself to both her master and his two best friends.

Both Sam and Tucker looked in shock at what they saw. Danny had just purposely released a ghost! But being bound to Danny's wishes, Desiree did not attack, as she promised.

"What the fuck!?" Sam said in shock while she frowned.

"Sam! Language!" Danny reminded Sam, as she often told Danny and Tucker not to swear. But that made him to narrow her eyes at her as she was now acting hypocritic for swearing herself.

Tucker, though being in shock, recognized Desiree "Hey, isn't that that genie-ghost you fought earlier, a few months back, when she caused a cotton candy tiddle wave at the flee market?"

Danny nodded "Yep. Same one."

Desiree, being a bit polite this time, made a little bow to Sam and Tucker "A pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

Sam frowned at Danny "Okay, what the heck is going on here!?"

Danny then introduced Desiree to Sam and Tucker "Guys. This is Desiree. And she is… my personal genie, for the time being."

"Your… personal genie?" Sam asked.

Tucker however wandered and asked Danny "But… I thought you'd send her back to the Ghost-Zone? At least I… thought you would after your folks had fixed the portal?"

Danny gave a shrug "Well, that was my first intention, but then I figured-"

"You figured you wanted to keep Desiree a bit longer as your personal sex-slave, am I right?" Sam asked while narrowing her eyes at Danny in a disappointed way.

Desiree glanced at Danny with a raised eyebrow while Danny looked baffled at Sam, saying "Wha-wha WHAT?! No! No no no, not like THAT! I…" Danny tried to find the right words "I made a deal with Desiree."

"You… made a deal with Desiree?" Sam asked surprised.

Danny nodded "Yeah! I figured that… since I needed some guidance to fight other ghosts and to better control my powers, I figured that Desiree was perfect for the job. So in exchange for helping me, I would try to show her that the world isn't such a bad place and that not all men are like those who took her for granted before being locked away in that old genie lamp for a couple of centuries."

Sam and Tucker exchanged a surprised look while Danny told the reason why he made Desiree his personal genie.

Danny then smiled as he stated "And just look what I've accomplished so far thanks to Desiree: I have better control over my powers, I know more about the more powerful ghosts that I might come across with AND thanks to her, I now better understand the ghosts' troubles which my parents wouldn't even figure out in a lifetime!"

Sam then narrowed her eyes at Danny again "Right. And by better understanding the ghosts, you mean; letting them go roam our world freely and allow them to cause chaos while Desiree is forced to give you all the pleasures you desire? Some hero you are." She finished with a sarcastic remark.

Tucker remained quiet, while he did feel that Sam had a point.

Danny crossed his arms and stated "Sam, I don't just let EVERY ghost roam free and let them cause chaos. Some of those ghosts just want to roam our world because the Ghost-Zone is like Hell to them and they just need a place where they can blow off some steam, or find some decent quiet to cool their heads." He then also added with a bit angry look on his face "And by the way, I DON'T use Desiree for any sexual activities. Right, Des?" he asked Desiree.

The genie-ghost glanced at her master, asking "Am I allowed to speak the truth and speak out my mind, master?"

Danny nodded "Yeah, Des. You are."

Desiree formed a small smile as she stated to Sam and Tucker "To tell you the truth, master Danny has been a perfect gentleman towards me. Though I am his humble servant and do all that he requests as my body and will are his to command, master Danny had not made any sexual attempts towards me." Then she frowned "Although I hate being his personal genie and don't like in the slightest to help him controlling his powers," she then formed a smile "master Danny did do his best to show he isn't like all the other men who I've encountered in the past and does takes his time to listen to me and take my advices by heart. He has shown that perhaps… not all men are as bad as I thought they were. Although I am still not totally convinced."

That Desiree mentioned that she did see he was different, made Danny to form a smile 'I knew she would come around eventually.' But then be reminded himself 'Although… I need to be 100% sure she's changed and won't go out and cause chaos again.'

This started to make much more sense to Sam and Tucker why Danny was acting differently lately "I… guess that explains everything." Sam said.

Tucker then said with a smile "So if I'm correct, your personal genie, Desiree can actually grant you any wish? Any?!"

Danny gave a shrug "Yep. Anything."

Tucker then had an idea and asked Desiree "Well… in that case, since I'm hungry at the moment. Desiree, I wish for a hotdog with extra mustard!"

Desiree formed a grin before folding her arms, not granting Tucker's wish.

Confused, Tucker asked "Hey, why aren't you granting my wish?"

Desiree chuckled "I can only grant master Danny's wishes. As it is part of the deal while being his guide."

That made Tucker to groan "Not fair!"

Though Sam rolled her eyes cause Tucker couldn't get a simple wish from Desiree, Sam then told Danny "You know that you can't keep Desiree on a leach forever, right? You're going to have to release her from your servitude someday."

Danny ensured her "I know, I know. Someday I will. But not now."

Desiree then sighed, hoping she would've been set free by his friend's suggestion, but Danny wasn't to let her go that easy.

Danny noticed Desiree's disappointment of not being out to go wherever she would love to go. And when he thought about it, he did admit that Desiree wasn't allowed to go out of the thermos a lot. To get him and Desiree alone, Danny suggested to his friends "Hey, why don't we meet at the Nasty Burger later today?"

Tucker didn't seem to mind "Sounds good to me."

Sam was first doubting, but then said "Okay, we'll be there. But then we need to discuss…" she then glanced at Desiree "About her." She and Tucker then left Danny's room.

Desiree narrowed her eyes "Your friend, Sam, doesn't seem to like me."

Danny nodded "Yeah, I figured she would act like this if I told her." But then he ensured her "But she'll come around. At least… I hope she will." That last line came with some uncertainty.

Desiree gave a shrug "Well, if you say so, master Danny."

Danny then suggested "Hey, Des. What about you and I go to the mall?"

Desiree raised an eyebrow at him for suggesting they should go out together "…I'm afraid I don't understand. What purpose would this serve you to bring me along? I don't think anybody would believe you and I are a couple."

Danny however ensured her "No no! No strings attached here… it'd do you good too, sorta."

"I'm afraid I don't follow, master Danny."

Danny then told her what he'd noticed about her since their conversation with his friends "Desiree, I noticed that you're not feeling comfortable when you cannot roam free as you're used to. I know that it doesn't make you happy of being locked in the thermos most of the time, despite how nice and spacious you've made it for yourself in there. I just figured that it'd be sorta nice to get out so we could… act normal towards each other and… a chance for you to stretch your legs… erh… tail, a bit." He reminded himself as Desiree was having a ghost tail instead of legs for the most part. Danny noticed that Desiree was puzzled about this, so he asked her "Look, if this is too weird for you, then we don't have to. It's just an idea-"

"I'd love to go." Desiree answered with a smile, interrupting Danny.

That surprised Danny, but then smiled "Really? You would?"

Desiree nodded "Yes, master. I suppose a change of scenery would be good for me." But then she reminded herself "Oh, but… your wishes, master Danny. I'm not allowed to show myself to anyone."

Danny nodded as he did made that wish that she was not allowed to show herself (well, except for himself and now to his friends, Sam and Tucker too). So Danny said "Fair point. So, I'll be adding another rule, which is also my next wish: when we're out together, you're allowed to show yourself, but better to wear a disguise so no one will recognize you as a ghost AND no harming others or causing chaos."

Desiree nodded as she raised her hand, glowing it with purple energy and engulfed herself with it "As you wish, master Danny." When the purple energy faded, Desiree mentally thought 'A pity though. Maybe if I do gain his trust, perhaps he'll allow me to roam free when we're out?' then she asked "And… what sort of disguise did you had in mind, master?"

Danny thought for a moment as he checked her green skin "Hmmmm. I guess if you just change the color of your skin to be more… human-like, that'll be okay, I suppose. And you should change your ghost tail into legs as well."

"As you wish." Desiree said and within a few seconds, her green skin color changed into light brown and her ghost tail into a pair of legs while wearing golden colored sandals.

Danny blinked a few times, never imagining Desiree would look so gorgeous.

Desiree seemed to notice Danny's changing behavior towards her and asked "Is my appearance not as you wanted to, master Danny?"

Bringing him back to reality, Danny blushed while trying to say "Oh… uh-uh-uhm… no, it's lovely! I mean, you… you look beautiful in that disguise."

This time it was Desiree that blushed and looked away while forming a small smile "Oh… thank you, master." Now Desiree was confused whys he blushed 'What the hell is wrong with me!?' she mentally asked herself.

But leaving that part out, Danny and Desiree walked together out of the room. Though Desiree had to remain invisible as they walked down the stairs, they exited the Fenton residence without Danny's parents or sister noticing anything weird and both headed down to the mall.

Not long after, when they arrived at the Amity Park Mall, Desiree was surprised by the size of it and the many other things that people could enjoy in there "My goodness, I never realized just how many accommodations your bazaar has to offer and how crowded it is."

Danny corrected her "Again, it's a mall. We don't call it a bazaar anymore."

"Oh, I see. Then… why is it so busy here? I mean, does everyone shop at the same time?"

As they moved along the mall, Danny stated "Well, malls are more than just places to shop nowadays. You can use the space to meet up with friends, go on dates, get a part time job…" he then shrugged while smiling at her "Plenty of reasons to go out in here of just shopping."

Desiree seemed to understand "Hmm… I see. So it's a kind of bazaar that has varying functions and purposes? I think I understand. Though I would normally terrorize it by granting other people's wishes, I just never realized what it all had to offer." She then formed a sweet smile at Danny "Thank you master for showing me the that there's more here that meets the eye."

"You're welcome, Des."

However, while they checked around while walking together side by side, Desiree noticed that many men were looking at her with some lustful eyes, which started to get on her nerves.

Danny noticed the men looking at Desiree too and began to noticed that she started to hiss. This was rather something he wanted to avoid. But than again, he couldn't blame them as it was surely because of Desiree's rather exotic cleavage outfit and that not all men are strong enough to control themselves when seeing a beautiful women wearing it.

At that very moment, Danny and Desiree walked passed the Abyss clothing shop. Danny had an idea and suggested "Hey, let's go in here. We could check for some outfits for you to wear?"

When Danny suggested the Abyss store to check out, made Desiree to forget all those men who couldn't stop staring at her and glanced at the store. The genie-ghost formed a little smile "Yes, that sounds fine. Probably better to get out of sight from all these hungry eyes."

When they entered the Abyss store, Desiree's smile grew as she hadn't seen so many different pieces of clothes in all kinds of colors and other variants "Oh my goodness…! This is incredible! Such a bounty of cloth and fabrics… all woven together in so many different manners!"

Desiree couldn't help herself but to look at some of the blouses, shirts and dresses. With each piece she checked, Desiree's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. Danny was glad to see that Desiree was having a really great time.

After a few minutes, Desiree turned to Danny, still smiling bright, holding a little pile of clothes and outfits she'd picked "Oh, master… there are just so many different clothes. I don't know what to pick!"

Danny ensured her as he observed the outfits she picked so far "Well, try them on then and see if their your kinda style."

Desiree nodded before glancing at the fitting room and walked over there with some clothes. But seeing it was too many to carry, Danny offered to help to carry some outfits and clothes for her to try out, which Desiree appreciated (and made her blush).

Once Desiree entered the fitting room and closed the curtains, Danny sat on a chair nearby, waiting for her to show some of the outfits. He formed a small smile while he was mentally saying 'Guess it was a good idea to bring her to the Abyss first. Desiree really enjoys herself.'

While the minutes went by, Desiree showed Danny the many outfits that she tried on, from some shirts, blouses, pants, skirts, shoes and even a few dresses. To Danny, she looked great in nearly all of them.

And so, after an half-hour of trying out, Desiree picked out a few outfits, clothes and two pairs of shoes she felt were really her style, including one long blue dress.

When they went over to the cash register, Desiree was now wearing a beige blouse, a dark brown skirt and black high heels, feeling that wearing these clothes and shoes would decrease the number of hungry male eyes on her.

The sales girl smiled as she took the outfits that Desiree picked out and scanned them while asking "So, having find all you need?"

Desiree nodded, still showing the same bright smile "Oh yes! Your store truly has some of the best clothes I have ever seen!"

Though Desiree's response did surprise the sales girl a bit, she smiled again "Well, thank you. It's great to hear such enthusiasm from one of our costumers." She then sadly looked down while muttering under her breath "(sigh) If only all costumers were that nice and not acting cruelly like most rich women or girls wjp come and shop here most of the time." But then she smiled again after scanning the blue dress and typed something on the register before saying "Okay then. That'll be 784 dollars please."

Danny really tried hard not to look shocked how much all those dresses cost 'Whoa! Nearly 800 bucks!? Guess I didn't kept in mind how expensive these clothes are.' But leaving it out of his thoughts, not wanting to dissapoint Desiree, Danny formed a little smile while taking out his wallet and asked the sales girl "Do you take debit card?"

"Of course, sir." The sales girl then typed on the register, allowing Danny to pay with his debit card.

While checking out, Danny mentally said to himself with some disappointment 'Well, there goes a few years' worth of allowance.' Though Danny had saved some money for other things, paying willingly for Desiree's new clothes, Danny began to think 'Hmmm. Maybe I should consider to look for a side job to earn some extra cash. After all, I cannot stick to my parents allowance forever, right?'

After paying for the clothes, the sales girl folded all the clothes and placed them in bags. When she took the receipt and handed it over to Danny, she happily said "Here is your receipt. Come back soon."

Desiree nodded "Oh, I most certainly will. Thank you!" she said while walking out with Danny, having a big smile on her face while carrying the bags.

After they exited the Abyss store, Danny told Desiree "You know, with these new outfits, you'll be able to blend in a bit more in public."

Desiree glanced around for a moment before nodding to Danny "Yes, I do notice that there are far less intense wandering eyes upon me now." She then asked, wandering what bothered him when he paid with that plastic card of his "May I ask, master Danny, you did looked a bit worried for a short moment before paying for my new clothes. Is there something wrong?"

Danny ensured her "Oh it's nothing, Des. I just didn't expected to pay that much for the clothes."

That made Desiree a bit worried and asked him "So… does that mean you don't have any money left? If you're short on money now, I can just-"

Danny, knowing she meant to bring some outfits back, shook his head and told Desiree "Oh, no no no no, you don't need to bring them back, Des. They're a gift… from me. They're all yours."

That made Desiree to form a smile again "Really?"

"Sure! And… you don't need to worry about me getting short on money, okay? I was thinking to maybe take a side job anyway."

"Oh… okay, then." Desiree said with a thankful smile, but then admitted "I actually was going to say that I could give you more money if you wished for it. But if you don't want to, master Danny, it's your choice."

As they walked along further, Danny stated "Well… as tempting as it sounds that I could wish for money, I don't really feel it's fair. I honestly feel more comfortable to make money by doing some work and not wish for it while doing nothing."

This surprised Desiree when he said that, saying he wouldn't even wish for wealth and prefers to work for his money. She smiled at him, feeling that he was not as selfish as she first thought he is.

He then told her "Oh, by the way? When we're out together, you can just call me Danny."

Desiree gave a small chuckle "Very well, Danny."

While they checked a few more other shops around, taking a look what they all got for sale, Danny began to think whil he watched Desiree taking a look at some phones in the electronic shop 'I'm curious to as how much of Babazita's backstory about Desiree was even true. It might be a touchy subject for Desiree, but maybe I could try and ask her more about her past, even if it's just a little.'

After an hour of checking shops at the mall, Danny decided to treat Desiree with an ice cream at a sundae place.

While Danny ordered for himself a few bowls of chocolate ice cream, he ordered for Desiree a strawberry/vanilla sundae with a small cherry on top.

When they sat down with their order, Desiree looked for a short while to her flavored treat, as she'd never heard about ice cream before. As she took a small spoon to take a bite from her sundae, the taste made her to form a bright smile on her face "Ooh… oh my goodness…!"

"You like it?" Danny asked while taking a bite from his chocolate ice cream.

"Danny… this is the tastiest morsel I've ever had in my life…!"

"I'm glad you like it. Just don't eat it too quickly. Trust me, it'll get too cold for your head to handle." Danny advised Desiree as it was her very first ice cream.

Desiree understood and took the next few bites from her sundae more slower "Oh alright."

For the next few minutes, Danny allowed Desiree to enjoy her treat, with her showing a big smile with each scoop she took from her sundae and easily let it into her mouth, letting her enjoy the taste a bit longer.

As she was only halfway finished, Danny then wondered if maybe it would be the best time to ask Desiree more about Desiree's backstory "Hey, uhm… Des?"

She swallowed her bite before glancing at him "Yes, Danny?"

"Uhm… I was wondering… what you were like when you were still alive, if you don't mind telling me about it, that is?"

Desiree was surprised that Danny wanted to know what she was like in life. Though she at first wanted to tell nothing about it, she felt that she could trust Danny after he'd shown her that he was truly different than the other men. But seeing that there were people around them in the sundae place, she didn't wanted to reveal anything yet and whispered "I'll… tell you after we leave the mall."

Danny glanced around and too noticed that whatever happened to Desiree when she was alive, must've been really bad for her to not tell in front of a crowd. So, he nodded and they finished their ice cream before leaving the mall, finding somewhere private where they turned into their ghost forms and flew off while remaining invisible so no one would notice them.

Once they'd landed on top of the highest building in Amity Park, they sat down as Desiree took a deep sigh before telling her tale "When I was… still alive, I was actually born a gypsy, living with our family and friends in a far away country. But one day, our gypsy camp was raided. I had to watch how my father and the other man were brutally killed, while me, the other young girls and the women were sold into slavery. I was… only 5 years old." Tears fell from her eyes to even think about that horrible memory, and to watch her mother being taken away, never to be seen again "I… never saw my mother ever again after we were… sold separately…!"

Danny was shocked to hear how Desiree had lost her whole family at such a young age and was forcefully separated from her mother "My God, Des… that's… horrible…" he placed his hand on hers, which Desiree for this once didn't mind.

When she dried her tears, she told her tale further "After that… I was brought to the city of Damascus, where I was raised in a remote place inside the palace to become 1 of the Sultan's harem girls. Over time, I made a few friends with the other girls there. Then… when I'd finally come of age and was allowed to entertain the Sultan… when our eyes meet… it was like love at first sight. Despite the fact that he was already married, we dated in secret and he gave me things, like gold and jewelry, but not much to cause anyone's suspicion, or his wife's." Desiree sighed while forming a smile of rethinking the time she spend with the Sultan "We had great times together and… when I turned 21, we… had our first time. And it was the best night of my life."

Danny now felt some awkwardness after hearing that and looked away while clearing his throat.

Seeing her master like this, made Desiree giggle "What? You don't like to hear that part?"

Danny scratched the back of his head as he glanced back to Desiree "Well… yeah, I think I would've rather not heard that part. There are some things we should keep to ourselves."

Desiree gave a shrug "Why? You wanted to know more about when I was alive, master Danny." She corrected him.

"Touché." He answered before he asked "So… what happened then?"

Desiree went on with her tale before giving a small sigh while smiling "After that… we had many secret, passionate nights. And eventually, he told me that he couldn't live without me and… told me he wanted to marry me. I felt so loved and happy that I said yes. But…" she then sadly looked down "Only a few days after he'd proposed to me… the Sultan's wife found out about us. In a fit of rage, she banished me out of Damascus. But secretly… she'd ordered my death…. And so… I was thrown into the desert… where I eventually… died of dehydration, hunger and thirst." Tears fell from her eyes as she raised herself "And that's how… I became… this."

Not being able to hold her tears any longer, Desiree cried.

Danny felt so sorry for Desiree, that she could have everything she could ever want in life, had it not been for the Sultan's jealous wife. He rose himself and embraced her in a comforting hug "I'm so sorry for you, Desiree. I really am."

Desiree had not expected this from Danny. But after a short time, it made her feel better and embraced him back with a small smile.

Just then, Danny's cellphone vibrated. He broke the hug with Desiree, much to both disappointment and checked his phone, seeing that Tucker had send him a message, saying: Dude, where are you? I thought we were suppose to meet at the Nasty Burger?

Realizing he'd forgotten to meet up with his friends, he said "Oh crap! I almost forgot to meet up with my friends." He typed a message back and told Tucker he's on his way.

As Danny glanced back at Desiree, he apologized "I'm sorry, but… I need to go."

Desiree shook her head in understanding "No, no, it's alright, master Danny. I understand."

Danny then asked while forming a smile "Did you… enjoy yourself today?"

Desiree looked down "Well, other than telling my sad life story to you…" she then brightly smiled "Yes… I had a great time with you, master Danny." She then gave him a hug on her own "Thank you. Thank you so much."

"You're welcome, Des." He said before breaking the hug and took out the Fenton thermos "I guess it's time for you to go back into the thermos, right?"

"I suppose so." Desiree gave a shrug while taking the bags with new clothes. She then smiled while asking him "You think we can… go out again sometime? I never had this much fun in like a thousand years!"

Danny didn't thought about it for long and answered "Sure, no problem, Des. Although, I may need to get some more cash first before we can go out another time."

Desiree gave a shrug "No problem, master. I look forward to whatever else your society has to offer."

For a short moment, both couldn't keep their glance away from each other.

After a minute, Danny cleared his throat before saying "Uhm… so we'll… talk tomorrow?"

Desiree nodded "Yes… we shall."

"Okay. Good night, Des." He opened the cover of the thermos.

"Good night… Danny." Desiree finished with a sweet smile before materializing herself and her bags into a green mist and entered the thermos.

After putting away the thermos, Danny flew off, heading towards the Nasty Burger to meet his friends… and brace himself for a possibly another lecture from Sam how 'incredibly stupid and reckless' his decision is to keep a ghost as his guide and servant. Danny wouldn't like it, but would stand by his decision and hoped his two best friends will accept it.

Inside the thermos, Desiree couldn't stop but to admire herself in her mirror while wearing her new outfits. She sighed with happiness as how wonderful her day with Danny was. But then she blushed when she realized she was possibly seeing Danny maybe as more than just a friend "No… no no no, I can't be…. I mean… it wouldn't be possible between us. Would it?" she wandered.

And so, during Danny meeting with his two friends at the Nasty Burger, the subject about Desiree was the talk of the day. Although Tucker was more supportive in Danny's decision to have the genie-ghost as a guide while also taking a different approach when it came to fight ghosts, Sam on the other hand was against the idea of having a ghost servant while considering ghosts as human beings. Danny more or less had expected this response from Sam, but ensured her that with Desiree in their team and taking a more diplomatic approach when confronting ghosts, that Sam would see that he's doing what's best for both sides. Sam wasn't completely convinced, but would give it a shot.

Not long after that conversation with his friends, Danny decided to take a side job at the Nasty Burger, earning him some decent amount of money to either save or spend it on when he and Desiree go out together.

Luckily, Sam's attitude towards Desiree changed after she'd saved Danny from Freakshow's control and saved hers and Tucker's life. After that, Sam began to think that Danny's new approach might not be so bad, as she and Tucker also took the time to get to know the other ghosts better, including Johnny 13, Kitty, the Lunch Lady ghost, Ember, Dorathea and several weak ghosts (including the Box Ghost).

In the next few months, Danny and his friends, along with Desiree, managed to keep Amity Park and the people safe after having stopped both Penelope Spectra's sinister plan to use Danny's blood to gain a more powerful and permanent young body, and also stopping Youngblood's plan to kidnap all the adults in Amity Park, with some help from Ember this time to put the little brat in his place.

However, it wasn't only the times to keep Amity Park safe that was on their minds, for Danny and Desiree were slowly acting more awkwardly towards each other, being confused as their feelings for each other only grew, not even sure if such a relationship would work. But it wouldn't be long before that answer would finally being answered, when Plasmius puts Amity Park in jeopardy when he releases the ancient evil Ghost King, Pariah Dark, who invades both the ghost and mortal worlds.

While fighting back Pariah Dark's ghost army, Danny and Desiree had to team up with Valerie and Vlad Plasmius to stop the first ghost attack, only for the Fright Night to seal all of Amity under a big ghost dome.

After Desiree had told Danny, Sam and Tucker all about Pariah Dark's past and what he's capable off, Danny knew that he had to try and ask the other ghosts and former foes to fight alongside him to fight the Ghost King. Many refused, while only a handful which Danny had befriended with, accepted to help him.

But it wasn't long before, when Danny confronted Vlad of what he'd done, Danny had accidentally send all of Amity Park into the Ghost-Zone when pulling the Fright Night's sword out of the ground, which was to Pariah Dark a sign of surrender.

Though it was a close call while Pariah Dark had gained back his full power, Danny and Vlad returned to safety under the Fenton Ghost Shield.

Seeing no other option to stop Pariah Dark as how powerful he's become, Danny decided to use the new Fenton Ecto-skeleton Suit to battle him and his army.

Danny waited on top of the roof of his house, along with Sam and Tucker. Not long after, Desiree phased through the floor while holding the Ecto-skeleton Suit and became tangible again.

"Nice work, Des." Danny complimented her.

"Thanks, master Danny." She stated "It was easier than expected, as your parents along with all the other people were distracted by arguing on who should use the suit. Although, that child ghost hunter named Valerie Grey nearly spoiled my attempt to take the suit."

"Really?" Danny asked in near shock "Then… how did you escape her?"

Desiree gave a shrug "Her father walked into the lab not long after. And seeing no other way to distract them, I removed the young girl's hood, thus exposing her secret of being a ghost hunter to her father."

Surprised by how Desiree exposed Valerie to her father, all three chuckled "How did she take it?" Sam asked.

Desiree formed a small grin "Something she would not forgive me for a long time."

Danny sighed as he held her hand "You know… you always seem to surprise me, Des."

That sweet comment made Desiree to blush. Sam blinked a few times, confused of what she saw.

But then, Danny looked sad as he glanced at the suit, before glancing back at Desiree, stating "Des… I know you're bound to my wishes and rules to fight alongside me. But… I'm asking you not to go with me… not this time."

This shocked Desiree, not believing what her master asks of her "Danny…"

"Desiree… when I enter the suit and Tucker will lower the ghost shield so I can face Pariah Dark with the other ghosts… I want you to go away from here as far as you can."

Desiree nearly saddened as she tried to say "But… master Danny… I cannot let you fight the Ghost King alone! As long as I'm your personal genie, I will fight alongside you no matter what!"

Danny sighed as he takes out the Fenton Thermos "I know… which is why it's best for you to… not being bound to my wishes any longer and… you've proved me enough that you've truly changed…"

Desiree became speechless "Danny…"

Sam and Tucker shared a short glance to each other.

With a heavy heart, Danny spoke "Desiree… I wish for you to be no longer my servant. From now on… my wishes and rules no longer apply to you…. You're free…"

Desiree gasped. As she's bound to grant any of Danny's wishes, purple energy engulfed her and the thermos "So you've wished it… so… shall it be." When the energy around her and the thermos dimmed, Desiree now felt that she was now truly free from Danny's servitude.

Danny then sadly turned himself and entered the suit, activating all the systems.

Being afraid of what would happen to him, Desiree, while a tear fell from her eyes, called to him "Danny… no! Your mother spoke that the use of the suit… is lethal."

Danny sadly glanced at Desiree "I know the risk, Des. But I'm the only one capable to use it." then he tried to cheer her up "C'mon now. It wasn't easy for me to lock the Box Ghost in the Fenton Thermos the first time too and now look how far we all have come."

Sam then added, pleading "Danny, please… listen to Desiree for this once."

"Guys, I'll be back. Really." Danny promised, though it was hard for Sam and Tucker to believe that.

Tears formed in Desiree's eyes as both she and Danny looked at each other. Sadly, she said with a small smile and placed her hand on his cheek "Danny… I thank you for all you've done for me. You opened my eyes that the world isn't as evil as I though it was… and you… opened my heart…"

Danny formed a small smile to her and said "And you're… the best ghost companion I could've wished for, Des."

Not long after, Danny transformed back into his ghost form, changing the Fenton suit along with it. When he flew up with speed to the shield, followed by Desiree, Tucker lowered the shield, allowing both Danny and Desiree to exit.

When they met with the other ghosts, Desiree remained behind. She and Danny exchanged one last look, before he flew away and joined his fellow ghost friends to face the Ghost King.

Desiree no longer could hold back her tears and sobbed as she flew away, somewhere deep into the Ghost-Zone.

Back with Danny and the other ghosts, Ember asked Danny after she glanced back to where Desiree flew off to "Hey, where is Desiree going? Is she gathering reinforcements or something?"

Danny sadly sighed "I let her go… and told her to go as far away from the fight as she could."

The others were surprised that Danny made that request "What?!" Kitty asked with shock "But why would you?"

"I… I had to…. I don't want to see her get hurt."

"Yeah, but…" Johnny asked "But why?"

"Because…" Danny had a hard time to say it "I… I love her…"

The battle was hard and intense, taking much of Danny's energy to supply power to the ecto-skeleton suit. But thanks to Ember's, Kitty's, Johnny's and all the other ghost's help (including Skulker's, surprisingly) Danny entered the fortress to face Pariah Dark, alone.

The Ghost King proved to be very powerful, but using all the strength he had, Danny managed to lock him back in the sarcophagus. But when he tried to keep him locked in it, he lost nearly all his energy…

All Danny's effort seemed to be in vain…

But then, Desiree appeared, using the key to lock Pariah Dark away for good, just before Danny lost consciousness.

Danny managed to open his eyes for a short moment, to see Desiree holding him in her arms while flying through town. He formed a small smile before passing out again.

The next day, while all of the town's citizens were cleaning up the mess from Pariah Dark's attack, Danny met with Desiree behind the Nasty Burger.

Danny, who was now wearing his Nasty Burger shirt and a hat as he's working today, exited the fast-food restaurant through the employers entrance. Once he closed the door behind him, Desiree appeared.

Danny smiled when she saw her and stated "Hey, Des. I just wanted to say… thank you for saving my life."

Desiree sighed as she came closer to him "I know I would go and stay away from the fight… but I just couldn't bear to see you get yourself killed. So… I had to break that promise."

"Well, in either way, I'm glad you did." Danny ensured her, which made her form a sweet smile. Changing the subject, Danny asked "So… how are things going in the Ghost-Zone and how are things going now that you're technically free?"

The both of them sat at a table, which were for the employees when they're on break while Desiree stated "Well, all the ghosts are now rebuilding their homes so they're doing fine for the most part. Oh, I had to send Johnny 13's, Kitty's and Ember's greetings to you. Ember was hoping to give another concert here in the human world."

"I'll see when she can do that, as long as Ember doesn't take over people's minds forever." Danny stated.

Desiree ensured him "Not to worry. Even if she does try to break her promise, I could be of assistance to help you around."

That confused Danny for a moment "Assistance? What do you mean?"

Desiree held his hand on the table, telling "Danny… ever since you've freed me from your service I… feel empty. Honestly… even though from the beginning I hated to be forced to be your personal genie and help you around, now… I don't see it that way anymore. I began to realize that I'd found back my true purpose when I first became a ghost-genie, to help people." She then smiled as she took out the Fenton Thermos, which was her little home while in Danny's service, and handed it over to Danny "And so… Danny… I've decided that… I want to remain your personal genie… for a while longer, on my own terms."

Danny formed a smile as he looked at the thermos before glancing back at Desiree "You… you mean it?"

"Yes… I do."

Accepting her proposal, Danny then said "Well, then… welcome back, Desiree." And then made a wish "Desiree, I wish that the Fenton Thermos becomes your home once again, and you can freely travel in or out whenever you want. And my second wish is that… you can control from now on which wishes you want to grant and which ones you don't want to."

Desiree smiled, granting Danny's two wishes "So you've wished it, so shall it be." And engulfed herself with her own purple energy and the thermos.

When it was done, she however sadly looked down.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Danny asked worriedly.

"Danny… the first wish I was able to grant, but… not your second one."

"You don't? How come?" Danny wandered.

"Believe me, I too wish I could control all the wishes I could hear and not granting the ones I don't want, but… ever since I became a ghost, it is my soul purpose to grant people's wishes. And that means ANY wishes. I cannot stop myself from granting wishes or whenever someone wishes me to stop. Cause if I do… I will cease to exist…" She sadly stated.

Danny began to understand that Desiree's wishing abilities might be her soul strength, it was also to her a curse, which she cannot break, even when someone would wish it "Oh gosh, Desiree." Then he quickly thought of a solution and suggested "Then… what about my old rule of: only granting my wishes?"

Desiree thought about that for a short moment before forming a smile "Yes. I suppose we could do that for safety measures, so I won't cause anymore chaos."

"Okay then! Desiree, I wish you can only grant my wishes from now on."

Desiree gave a nod and fulfilled the wish by snapping her fingers, making herself to wish only Danny's wishes, just like when she started to become his personal genie "There. The wish is granted."

"Great." Danny said happily, but soon he sadly looked away.

"What is it…?" Desiree asked him softly.

Danny glanced back at Desiree, feeling he should tell her what he really feels "Desiree… you do know why I asked you the first time not to follow me, right?"

Desiree nodded "You didn't wanted me to get hurt. I understood you didn't wanted to let anything happen to a friend."

For a short moment, Danny just looked into her eyes before he stood from his chair and held her hand "Des… I…"

"Danny…?" was all she could say, but somehow… could feel where this was going.

"I just… the feeling of losing you, I… I won't know what to do if that happened…" he then softly stroke her cheek "Desiree… you… you're not just a genie-ghost to me… you're also…" words failed him as he looked away.

Desiree stood up from her chair, putting her other hand on his shoulder "Tell me…"

"You're also…" Danny tried to say. He then looked at her and spoke "I love you, Desiree… more than just a friend."

Desiree couldn't believe what Danny was telling her.

"I just can't… imagine a life without you. I love you, Desiree."

Tears formed in her eyes, feeling touched by Danny's words. Instantly, Desiree embraced Danny into a kiss. Being surprised at first by Desiree's response, Danny returned the kiss, which slowly became more passionate.

After a short minute, Desiree slowly broke the kiss, forming a little smile while tears of joy fell from her eyes "Danny… I feel the same way…. I love you too."

Just as they were about to resume the kiss, the employees door was about to open, making Desiree yelp before quickly materializing herself into a green mist and disappeared back into her thermos.

When the door opened, revealing to be Danny's employer, Irving Burns. Seeing Danny in a baffled/dreamy state, Irving told him with a serious expression "Fenton! Your break was over a minute ago! C'mon now. Those burgers won't fry themselves."

Bringing himself back to reality after he and Desiree opened their feelings for each other, Danny nodded while saluting "Yes, Mr. Burns." And ran back inside, bypassing Irivng.

While Danny was about to put the thermos in his bag, he heard Desiree talking with a sweet voice through it "I'll be waiting for you till you're finished, so we can… talk further."

Danny whispered back into it "Looking forward to it already." And puts the thermos inside his bag and went back to work.

A few hours later, at 7 PM, Danny had finished his shift and headed home. He did made one stop at the bank to check his account, seeing that his monthly salary had been sent to him.

Danny formed a smile while thinking out loud as he left the bank "Now that I have collected enough money from my side job at Nasty Burger, I guess I could go out with Desiree again. Maybe something… romantic this time? After all, she's my girlfriend now." Realizing that Desiree, the genie-ghost was his girlfriend, surprised Danny at first, but then formed a smug "Man. Desiree my girlfriend."

However, as he was just halfway home, Danny began to think of spending time with Desiree might catch some attention as she's (physically) 8 years his senior. He didn't wanted to make it look he's embarrassed about it as he loves to have a date with Desiree, but also didn't want to cause a scene. He had to talk to her about it and ask what she thinks of it.

After he returned home and took some dinner that his parents had left for him in the fridge, Danny went upstairs to his room.

Once he was sure he was alone, Danny took out the thermos from his bag and opened the cover. Immediately, Desiree materialized out of it and appeared before him.

Desiree leaned very close to him, saying softly while forming a sweet smile "Hi there…"

Danny placed his arms around her and pulled her closer to him "Hi…" both then embraced into a passionate kiss.

Both lied on Danny's bed, with Desiree on top of him while they kept kissing nonstop.

After a few minutes, both broke the kiss to catch their breaths.

Desiree looked at her boyfriend with a bit of surprised look while smiling "Wow…" she softly said "I never knew you were a great kisser."

That made Danny blush and chuckled "You think…? Thanks." Just as Desiree wanted to resume their kiss, Danny wanted to sit straight "Desiree, uhm… I need to ask you something."

Desiree looked at him with a raised eyebrow, but then smiled as she allowed him to sit straight "What is it then?"

Danny scratched the back of his head, hoping that Desiree wouldn't take it too hard "Well, Des… on my way home, I was thinking about something, and…. I really love to spend time with you, Des, more than anything."

"You mean… like a date?"

Danny nodded "Yeah."

"Okay. But… what's wrong then?" she wandered.

"Well, it's about…" words failed him for a moment "Geez. How am I supposed to tell you without you getting upset?"

Desiree's smile faded as she could sense what troubled Danny "It's about my age, isn't it?"

Awkwardly, Danny gave a small nod "Well… yes." but then he quickly ensured her "But it's not about me who has a problem with it! Heck, I don't even care that you're technically nearly a thousand years, or physically nearly a decade older than me! It's just… well… nowadays… people would find it… weird and would get the wrong idea about it when seeing a teenage boy is dating a young adult." he prayed to himself that Desiree would understand.

However, Desiree did thought about it for a moment and actually agreed with him while finding a solution "Hmmm… perhaps you're right, Danny. Things are sure different in this age than from the time period I loved in. But… what are we going to do about it?"

Danny then asked her "Maybe if you could… I don't know, make yourself appear younger, like when you were 16 years old, or something?"

"Well, I never tried it before…" she stated before she formed a smile "But in theory, yes, I can!" she then floated away from him and concentrated very hard while raising her hands. Letting herself being engulfed by her purple ghost energy, making her body shine a bright light.

Slowly, her body shrank and her appearance changed a bit.

When the light faded, Danny was astounded to watch he saw how she's changed. She still looked as beautiful as she was, only a bit shorter, but with the same long black hair, she looked exactly like when she was sixteen years old.

"Wow… Desiree…!" Danny said how impressed he was.

Desiree smiled as she looked at herself, feeling proud that she was not only able to change her appearance to be more human like, but also look more younger. To add a final touch, she changed her green skin color to light brown and turning her ghost tail into the same pair of legs as before and wearing golden colored sandals.

"I think now nobody would judge us being together?" she asked with a grin.

Danny gave a nod "It's perfect." Teasing her a bit, he walked up to her and placed his arms around her "Though I still prefer the real Desiree."

That made her to giggle "Oh, stop it." and both shared a kiss.

Danny then offered her, after breaking the kiss "Hey, what about we have our first date tonight? I just received my salary from my side job at Nasty Burger today."

Desiree formed a lovely smile "I would love that, Danny. Then… what did you had in mind for our first date?"

Danny thought about it for a few seconds "Hmmm… what about we catch a movie?"

Having been to the movies once before, which she surprisingly enjoyed it, Desiree gave a nod "That's a great idea, my love. I did love the last time we went, so yeah, it's a great start to our first date." She then looked at her genie outfit "Although… I should change myself first. I don't want any hungry teenage eyes upon me when I'm spending time with you, dearest."

Danny chuckled "Yeah, we defiantly don't want to deal with that." but then he reminded himself "But… all the new clothes you bought the last few months are a few sizes bigger then your teenage disguise."

Desiree planted a kiss on his cheek, ensuring him "Leave that to me, my love." She materialized herself into a green mist and went back into the thermos while saying "Give me an hour, then I'll be ready."

Figuring that he should change himself too, Danny said to himself "Maybe I should wear some different clothes too then my casual shirt, jeans and sport shoes."

And so, during that hour, after Danny took a quick shower and brushed his teeth, he took his time to pick out a good outfit for his first date with Desiree. After searching his closet for a little time, putting aside all the same shirts and jeans he always wear, he picked out a nice red/white blouse, brown pants, black belt and a nice pair of shoes he only wear on special occasions.

Meanwhile, as Desiree took her time to take a shower in her living space in the Fenton Thermos, she took a look at herself in the mirror while combing her long hair. Then, figuring that she could use a haircut, to better blend into the crowd, she let a few scissors and other hair styling tools float with her ghost powers, and with amazing speed, her long hair was now made smooth and cut to half long size. She also used her powers to make her bra, panties, shirt, jacket and skirt shrink a bit till they were fitting her perfectly. When she was finished, she looked at herself in the mirror, seeing herself as a great looking sixteen year old girl with middle-eastern roots.

Hoping she was ready, Danny whispered in the thermos "You ready, Des?"

"I am." She answered before coming out of her little home and appeared before Danny.

Danny's mouth nearly fell as he was amazed how great Desiree looked "Oh… my God, Des! You look great! Hey, you even changed your hair?"

Desiree, feeling modest, answered "Thanks, my love. Yeah, I figured that a little modern haircut would make me blend in better with the humans."

Words failed Danny, as he couldn't describe how great Desiree looked, looking so happy and… alive.

He then offered his hand "Shall we, my dear?"

Desiree took his hand "It'll be my pleasure, my love."

Danny and Desiree then both turned intangible as they floated up and phased together through the wall, leaving Danny's home. Being outside, both landed on the street and turned tangible again. Walking hand in hand, Danny and Desiree walked through the streets, heading to the movie theater.

Feeling so happy that they're together, Desiree rests her head on Danny's shoulder.

During the movie, which was a romantic/comedy, Danny and Desiree both enjoyed themselves watching them movie together, although they also shared their attention to each other. Both sharing a few small smiles and some kisses.

As the movie came to a close, Danny and Desiree were sharing a long French kissing. While the credits rolled and the lights slowly came back on, Danny and Desiree broke their kiss and only smiled to each other while taking their stuff.

Danny's and Desiree's date didn't end with just watching a movie together. After they left the cinema, Danny changed into his ghost form while Desiree appeared back into her true form (while still having her clothes for their date on) and both flew hand in hand over town, visiting a few romantic places during the evening.

When it was around 11:30 PM, they returned back to Fenton Works, entering Danny's room.

Desiree, forming herself back into her original form, sighed while she smiled at her boyfriend "(sigh) That was a lovely date we spend together, my love."

"It sure was, Des." Danny expressed how he enjoyed his first date with his genie-ghost girlfriend.

Feeling a bit hot, Desiree took off her jacket and raised her shirt "Pfew! I feel a bit hot. You don't mind if I take this off?"

Danny felt a bit surprised, but did answer "Uhm… no, not at all."

"Good." Desiree said with a smile and took off her shirt, showing her sexy deep red bra.

Danny gulped while he blushed, as he couldn't keep his eyes off Desiree's hot DD-sized breasts.

Sensing what Danny had in mind, Desiree bite her lip and softly whispered as she walked over to him "I can see my… appearance somehow troubles you, my love…"

"Oh, no no no, it doesn't bother me…! It's just…" Danny tried to say, but was more keeping his eyes on Desiree's chest.

Desiree smiled and gave her a hug "Don't worry, Sam. I will. You have my word."

"Thanks, Des."

A few minutes later, Desiree returned to hear seat next to her husband.

Not long after, Jack ticked his glass, wanting to have everyone's attention. He cleared his throat as he spoke "Hey everyone! This is Jack Fenton, Danny's father. But… I guess you already knew that." he then took out a paper, saying "6 years ago when… our son saved the world from the Disasteroid and revealed himself to be the ghost kid, it did came as a shock to both me and Maddie. But because we love our son no matter what, we accepted it and were so proud at him for using his powers to do good. While we… sorta apologized for taking it the wrong way and threatened to rip him apart molecule by molecule and-"

"Just get to the real speech, Jack." Maddie told her husband.

"Oh, right sorry. I got a little lost in there." He cleared his throat again before telling his real speech "Anyway… when Danny told us he was dating a ghost and her name is Desiree, well… it too came as a bit of a shock. But after seeing how much she'd changed her ways, all thanks to Danny… and that their relationship have actually… brought ghosts and humans closer together, me… and the rest of the Fentons couldn't have asked for a better women for our son… than you, Desiree. And we're honored to have you as our daughter/sister in law. Welcome to the Fenton family!" he raised his glass.

Desiree felt happy and said "And I couldn't have wished for a better parents/sisters in law… than all of you. Thank you."

As everyone applauded, Desiree shared a big hug with Jack, Maddie, Jazz and Dani.

And so, with Danny and Desiree married, the newly wedded ghost couple took a long honeymoon around the world.

It wasn't long before… Desiree got pregnant and both she and Danny would expect their first child, who would be a baby boy which they named Danny Junior. And a few years later, they had another child; a daughter named Fatima.

Despite Danny being a hero to both ghosts and humans, protecting both the world and the Ghost-Zone and with Desiree having become a famous fashion designer, nothing was more important to them, than their family, which always came at first before anything else.

11:45 PM, somewhere in Paris, the now 28 year old Danny was sitting on top of the Eiffel tower, watching the city down below. Not long after, he was joined by his wife Desiree and their two kids, who all flew down at him, all sitting beside him. Fatima and Danny Junior transformed back into their human forms.

"Will the fireworks start soon, Daddy?" 4 year old Fatima asked her father, as tonight was New Year's Eve.

"Just a few more minutes, Fatima." Danny answered while rubbing her head, making her giggle.

6 year old Danny Junior then told his mother as he held up a Vogue magazine, with Desiree being on the cover, telling all about her new fashion designs "I gotta admit, Mom, your new dresses just keep impressing so many people. Especially at the fashion show today."

Desiree thought it was sweet that his son "Thank you, dear." That was when her phone ringed.

Fatima annoyingly moaned "Mo-om! I thought you said no phone calls tonight?"

"Sorry, Fatima. Let me handle this." Desiree ensured her daughter before picking up her phone "Desiree Fenton." After hearing who it is, Desiree frowned and warned the lady on the phone "I told you before, I can't make any space right now! I'm here in Paris, with my family on New Year's Eve and I'm not gonna-" she was interrupted by what the lady said on the phone, which made Desiree even more angry and yelled in the phone "LISTEN HERE! MY FAMILY GOES BEFORE ANYTHING! AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE THAT, THEN YOU CAN SAY YOUR NEW FASHION DRESSES GOODBYE! DO YOU COMPREHENDED!?" hearing nothing for a few seconds, the lady on the phone apologized greatly before hanging up.

Desiree formed a small smile before turning off her phone "There. That's taken care off." She then glanced at her children, who were a bit afraid of their mother's reaction. Feeling sorry for them to feel this way, Desiree hugged them both "Ooooh, I'm so sorry my dear little preciouses. Mommy can be a little… moody sometimes when people don't let me spend time with you… or your father."

Danny Junior patted her mother's arm, ensuring his mother "That's okay, Mom. I'm used to it now."

Fatima however wasn't as much used to her mother's reactions and asked "Please… don't yell again like that."

Danny gave Fatima another hug "Hey, hey, don't you worry. Your mommy just wants to show people how much she loves you and DJ. You know how much we love you both, right?"

Fatima nodded.

"Good. You're not afraid of your sweet mommy, right?"

Fatima shook her head and gave a hug to her mother, which she returned.

Desiree then softly said to his daughter "Listen. Now that new year is coming, why don't I soddenly make a promise that on this new year, I'm going to try hard not to yell when you're around. Does that sound good to you?"

Fatima nodded while she smiled and both daughter and mother hugged again.

A few minutes later, they could hear the people count down for the new year.

"10… 9… 8… 7… 6… 5… 4… 3… 2… 1…"

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The whole ghost family cheered, before all shared a family hug, wishing each other a happy new year.

All watched the fireworks down below, which Danny Junior and Fatima loved very much.

Danny and Desiree looked at each other with a lovely smile.

"Happy new year, my love…" Desiree softly said.

"You too… my beautiful genie…"

Both Danny and Desiree shared a long soft kiss. DJ and Fatima didn't saw it, as their attention was fully on the fireworks above Paris.

A/N: I first intended to get this ready and post it by Christmas, but because of a few private reasons I couldn't get it finished by then as promised. BUT, now it is and I can't say how proud I am with the results of this new kind of one-shot series I'm going to try out. Also sorry that I hadn't put many fighting scenes in this one-shot, as I just wanted to focus on Danny and his relationship with Desiree.

The other parts, showing Danny ending up with someone else will come in time ;)
