What if things were a little different for Hidan? What if he was able to redeem himself after being found by a limp Kakuzu and a child that looked all too familiar to him? 1. 機会 - Chapter 1: Lonely

Hidan frowned at the current state he was in. All he wanted to do was sacrifice someone to Lord Jashin and this was what he got?

That kid with the pineapple hair fought against him and ended up getting his revenge after witnessing the death of his teacher. Now he's blown up and incapacitated… because he fought a little kid. A little kid. At first, he knew he could probably win because he saw the kid's shadow paralysis jutsu. But after taking the time to fight him, he realized it too late.

There was no way that he could win against that kid. He didn't really know this but he was way too arrogant and he constantly rushed into a fight. He didn't strategize at all. He just charged into the fight like it was all another victorious fight for him. That mindset of his, and the way he acted, cost him his life for the next few months.

He was unable to move after getting blown up into pieces by that kid. And to top it all off, he was buried underground in a hole. Now he started to wonder if Kakuzu was still alive. If he was still alive, there may be a bit of hope left for him. But for now, he decided to fall asleep since there's no way someone would go out of their way to find him.
