Now begins the official TV series of the adventures of Hiccup and his friend, Bing Bong! From How To Start A Dragon Academy to King of Dragons. Enjoy!

This is Berk. For centuries it was Viking against dragon. The battles were ferocious. But then, one day; everything changed.

A black dragon soared through the air, with a rider on his back. The two revealed themselves as the runt of the Viking village, son of the chief named Hiccup Haddock, with his best pal, Bing Bong, a Night Fury.

Bing Bong himself wasn't always a dragon; he used to be a loveable Imaginary Friend to his girl named Riley Andersen. But she hadn't had any more time to spend with Bing Bong anymore, leaving him to wander the endless corridors of Long-Term Memory.

He had an adventure with Sadness and Joy to try and return to his Riley, only to end up being forgotten in the Memory Dump, resulting his transformation and being sent into the real world back in time.

Now he was best friends with Hiccup, and living on the Isle of Berk with the other newly founded Dragon Riders after making peace between the two warring sides, ready for more adventure.

I met Bing Bong. And life on Berk hasn't been the same since. We showed everyone that instead of fighting dragons, we can ride them. Live with them, even train them.

Hiccup and Bing Bong gathered up on a rock tower with their other fellow Dragon Riders to challenge off to a Best Trick contest. Bing Bong always looked forward to it, as well as Stormfly.

She smiled at him. "Get ready to be crushed, Fury!" Stormfly challenged in Dragonese. Bing Bong huffed. "Uh, we'll see about that!" Being a dragon brought out his competitive side.

"Ok, gang. Best Flying Trick competition. Who's up first?" Hiccup said, glancing at them. Bing Bong could already guess who was gonna go first.

"Me!" It was Snotlout. Fishlegs held up his hand. "Uh, actually I think it is…"

"Me!" Snotlout repeated, glaring. Astrid groaned. "Sweet baby Thor in a thunderstorm, go!" She snapped. Snotlout smiled smugly. "Oh, don't worry, we'll go. And when we go, Hookfang and I are gonna light the sky on FIRE!"

Hookfang had had enough of his owner's ranting and took off on his own. Bing Bong smirked, watching the stocky boy getting a taste of his own medicine. Hookfang flew him through dangerous areas very close to the sea stacks, even going under water into a school of fish. After a while they landed again, panic and fear present on Snotlout's face as he tried catching his breath.

"I'm alive?" He checked himself. "I'M ALIVE!" Everyone stared. Snotlout pulled himself together in just seconds. "Of course I am!"

Bing Bong just rolled his eyes. Typical Snotlout.

It was Fishlegs's turn now. He smiled. "Ready, Meatlug? Here we go!" He flew Meatlug out just a few inches away from the rock before coming back. The shortest trick ever. The other dragons gave Meatlug strange looks.

"Yes! New personal best!" Cheered Fishlegs, cuddling his girl dragon who gave him a kiss. He had mistaken her for being a boy, then discovered her to be a female during a previous Snoggletog.

"My turn!" Ruffnut said, as the twins argued about who goes first, forgetting about their Zippleback, Barf and Belch. "Er, guys? Same dragon!" Hiccup pointed out. "Oh, right," Tuffnut realized, fist bumping his sis before taking off.

Bing Bong winced. This would get messy.

The Zippleback had a hard time listening to their riders who kept arguing.

"Go left!"

"No, Right!"

"No, left!"

And as Bing Bong predicted their arguing resulted into the Twins falling off of their dragon. Tuffnut screamed as the ocean rushed to meet him.

"This is awesome and scary!" He shrieked. Belch grabbed him and Barf snatched up Ruffnut before they became pancakes, placing them onto their necks and flying back to the tower; leaving them breathless like Snotlout.

"Oh… we almost died!" Ruff gasped. Tuff grinned. "Heh. I know. Go again?"

"Hey, it is my turn!" Astrid said, pointing to herself, grinning at Hiccup. Stormfly gave a flirting smile at Bing Bong. She had grown to like Bing Bong a little more.

"Watch and learn!" Stormfly said confidently as she and Astrid took off, beginning their own tricks.

"Ok, Stormfly, Tail Flip!" Astrid commanded. Stormfly did so, trailing her tail through the water. "Now Twirl!" They twirled along the surface. "Quick! Upward Spiral!" The duo spun upwards through the air, landing gracefully to awes and gasps from Fishlegs and the Twins. Bing Bong smiled, she certainly was a talented Nadder.

"Alright Stormfly!" The blonde cheered when coming for a landing.

Snotlout sneered. "Yeah. But can you do it without the dragon?" He got a punch in the arm for his answer.

Hiccup smiled down at his best friend. "Well, looks like we got our work cut out for us, Bud," he said. Bing Bong gave a coo noise. "Yep." He grinned back at Stormfly, taking off at a high rate of speed. Thanks to their new tail from Gobber it did wonders with their flying.

They power dived down towards the ocean, Bing Bong pulling up, barely touching the surface, tearing up the water. The friends zig zagged through the sea stacks as if one mind. Approaching a pretty narrow rock stretch, Hiccup smirked, and Bing Bong got ready. Hiccup detached himself from the saddle, jumping. He ran across the rock narrow, landing precisely back onto his dragon's back, soaring upwards into the beautiful blue sky.

Bing Bong had to admit this to himself again, his dragon body was pretty amazing; and fast too! In his happiness he shot plasma for the finale. Everyone below applauded.

"They're still the best!" Astrid sighed, smiling too. They could never beat Hiccup and Toothless at this competition.

Later he and Hiccup landed in the Berk village.

Yep, dragons. Everyone here thinks life is better since we made peace with them. Unfortunately, though, dragons are still, well, dragons.

Bing Bong watched, seeing the Vikings having trouble with the less mannered dragons which was well, all of them. They kept stealing food, or resting on top of houses without the human's permission.

Jeez, perhaps the Queen really was good at keeping these guy's mannerisms under control, the former Imaginary Friend thought, shaking his head.

"Incoming!"

"Look out! Dragon poo!"

Bing Bong ducked a poop bomb from the dragons doing their business at the usual time, taking shelter near a house while Hiccup stood near two Vikings he managed to make acquainted with a while ago: Bucket and Mulch.

Hiccup grinned nervously. "Hey, Mulch. Hey, Bucket. Sorry about the…"

Even I know where to poop better than them, Bing Bong thought, remembering when he had learned how to poop for the first time by Ashia since he never had the need before.

"Everyday at 3:00, the regular at least. A tip of the cap," Bucket said. He was named Bucket because of the metal bucket on his head. Mulch agreed.

"Better than the days when it was kill or be killed. Oh, hey, we got some fish for that father of yers. Bucket, give the boy the cod."

Bucket held up his now empty sack, ripped open. He scratched his bucket. "I ate them already? Did I enjoy it?"

Not really, Bing Bong winced, now seeing a Terror pulling the cod away, others joining in and ripping it to pieces.

Bing Bong knew that keeping an eye on these dragons without the Queen was gonna be rather difficult.

Most of us on Berk are willing to take the good with the bad. But there are those who would never accept the dragons and would do anything to drive them away.

Meanwhile, on the far side of the island, an elder Viking was disturbed from his rest by a slumbering dragon on his roof.

This was Mildew, a grump of a human, who hated dragons with a passion. Bing Bong could say the same back; the two didn't see eye to eye when first meeting.

Mildew grumbled under his breath after falling out of bed, going out to see who was causing him to lose sleep.

"Bah, dragons. I shoulda' known. Helps himself to my roof and my cabbage!" He growled, picking up one of his ruined cabbages, until seeing a herd of Gronckles going for it. "Gah! My whole field! Gone! That tears it, Fungus!" Mildew said irritably, picking up his pet sheep and staff, heading to the village to have a word with Stoick.

It was a rather busy morning in the village, Stoick was in charge of taking care of stocking up food for winter. Gobber usually assisted him. And Hiccup stood there with Bing Bong.

"Store the rest of it in the back, fishing boats just came in with a big catch!"

Bing Bong was smelling all that fish but made sure to control his dragon instincts. Only once or twice have they gotten the better of him. Then he spotted Mildew. "Stoick!" Just perfect.

"Ah, and there's Mildew with the complaint of the day," Gobber announced. Bing Bong growled softly. He wasn't the old grump's biggest fan. Hiccup smiled, petting him, which calmed him down.

Stoick approached the elder. "You picked a bad time to come, I'm in the middle of storing food." Mildew had no time for excuses. "Gah. It's the dragons again! Those beasts are not to fit among civilized men!"

Gobber smirked. "Well, neither are you, Mildew. Why did you think we'd built your house so far outside of town?"

Low burn! Bing Bong thought, grinning to himself, while Mildew gritted his teeth.

"Oh, very well, make your jokes! Meanwhile, these dragons upend village carts! Turning houses into piles of rubble!" He snarled, gesturing to the messes near him. Others came forward, complaining, too.

"And they even disturb an old man's rest! Can't you see these bags under me eyes?!" Mildew said, showing them. Bing Bong and Hiccup both looked at one another, disgusted looks on their faces. "Definitely hideous," Bing Bong whispered under a low breath, while Hiccup chuckled softly, scratching his friend's ears.

Mildew wouldn't yet let up on his over complaining. "These are wild and unpredictable beasts!"

"Right you are!"

Bing Bong kept close to Hiccup. He always hated it when Mildew called them beasts or demons. He wasn't a demon, even if he was turned into a dragon Bing Bong was still himself.

"They even cracked this man's skull! Like an egg!" Mildew said, tapping his staff on Bucket, who smiled. "Eggs? I like eggs! Scrambled, over easy, poached!" He was totally ignoring the fact that the crowd was on edge.

"You need to put those dragons in cages!" Mildew demanded in Stoick's face. Bing Bong trembled, fearing for being locked up again. He had hated it that first time.

"I won't let them do that to you, Bing Bong," Hiccup murmured softly.

"If you don't, they'll eat us out of house and destroy the entire village!" Mildew shouted.

Hiccup stood forward. "They don't mean any harm, they're just dragons being dragons," he said, trying to calm everyone. Mildew glowered at Hiccup then gave Bing Bong a death glare. Stoick gazed at Mildew with a stern look.

"If there's a problem, Mildew, I'll deal with it," he said. Mildew grumbled, walking away.

"Oh, there is a problem, Stoick. And I believe I speak for everybody here saying that yeh better do something about it!" The crowd continued to shout angrily at the chief, who didn't have any words now, Hiccup and Bing Bong looking at each other with worry.

Later that evening Hiccup, Bing Bong, Gobber, and Stoick had dinner together. Stoick paced.

"We can't let wild dragons run around like they own the place." Then he got an idea. "Hey, we can put up signs!"

Gobber raised his brow. "Signs? For dragons?"

Stoick shook his head. "No, for the people!"

"Signs? For vikings? We're not big readers, Stoick."

"Alright, then, we'll make a huge net then stretch it around the plaza—."

"Nets? You do know they breathe fire?"

Stoick was irritated. "I know very well they breathe fire, Gobber. Gaah! Maybe Mildew was right!" He grumbled, tossing a chair aside. Bing Bong just kept quiet through this, his best friend speaking up.

"Wait, dad. What if I deal with the dragons?" He suggested. Stoick raised his brow. "You?" Hiccup shrugged, petting Bing Bong. "Yeah! If anyone can control them, I can. I am the best man for the job."

Stoick ended up smiling a little. "You're not a man yet, Hiccup."

"Not if you give me the chance to be," Hiccup protested. Stoick thought for a bit more, then agreed.

"Fair enough. You'll have your chance; starting tomorrow."

Hiccup had a smile on his face as he and Bing Bong journeyed to their beds.

Bing Bong nudged him. "You really know how to persuade your dad sometimes, do you?" Hiccup laughed, tossing him a fish, which he ate gratefully.

"Well, not all the time. But we should get some rest. We begin our challenge in the morning."

Bing Bong nodded, getting on his bed, and doing his usual thing of warming it up before curling up. "G'night," he purred, closing his eyes.

The next morning Hiccup and Bing Bong stood in the village. Bing Bong spotted a Deadly Nadder walking by, as well as a Nightmare and a Zippleback flying past. He glanced at Hiccup.

"You think we can really do this?" He asked in an uncertain tone. Hiccup scratched his ears.

"It's just the dragons in this village. How hard can that be?" He then spoke to the others.

"Ok, gang. We're going to make some changes around here." But then the duo heard a viking woman having trouble with a Nadder.

"Get out! Shoo! For the last time, get yer nose out of my bread!" She ran into her house, the dragon following. Bing Bong nudged him. "Your queue." Hiccup nodded.

He ran to the trouble. "Hold on! I'll help you!" Hiccup held out his hand. "No!" The Nadder seemed to settle, but their moment was interrupted with more dragon trouble, sheep that had been set aflame, and even a Nightmare and a Nadder fighting.

"Stay out of my way, Pesky Nadder!"

"Hah! Your threats don't sway me!"

Hiccup turned to Bing Bong. "Bing Bong, stop that fight! I'll put out the sheep!" Bing Bong nodded, jumping up to calm them down, unaware of the other kids watching from afar.

Bing Bong bared his teeth at the arguing dragons who turned to find themselves confronting a Night Fury. "Enough!" He snarled, raising his wings. The Nadder himself couldn't argue, backing down and running away, same with the Nightmare.

Hiccup wasn't having much luck. The only thing he had been able to do was put out a sheep who was on fire. Bing Bong then saw what time it was, and winced.

"3:00, oh boy," he mumbled, the dragons starting to pop out their green poop on the town once more. Hiccup was unlucky to get a facefull of the hot stinky poop. Bing Bong ran to his friend, nudging him away to recover at their house and clean up.

Hours later of washing and Hiccup was now all clean, groaning and sitting on his bed. He took off his prosthetic. Bing Bong swished his tail. "Some day, huh?" He asked in a monotone voice. Hiccup stretched his shoulders that hurt.

"Everything hurts. Even this," he said, holfing out his leg. Bing Bong nuzzled him. "It was only day one, Hic. Things will improve, I'm sure." Hiccup grinned halfheartedly.

"Hiccup?" It was Astrid.

"Perfect. I don't look too beat up, do I?" Bing Bong tilted his head, a look of pity on his face, not finding an answer. Hiccup frowned. "Oh, great. Dragon pity."

"Sorry, but that's all I feel," Bing Bong said quietly as Astrid showed. Hiccup false smiled.

"Astrid! What a nice surprise!" He said. Astrid gave a knowing smile. "So, how was your day?"

"Oh, uneventful, hung around the plaza. You know." Astrid didn't buy it.

"I do know, we saw you out there. Hard to believe you're still standing." Hiccup responded by collapsing. Bing Bong lay on the floor to take a little nap, but kept his ears open to listen.

"I'm gonna be seeing flaming sheep in my dreams for the next month!" He mumbled. Stoick then joined them.

"Hiccup! What's goin' on out there? The plaza looks like a war zone!"

Hiccup did his best to explain. "Hey, I know it looks bad…"

Bad isn't even enough to describe, Bing Bong thought, paws over his face, feeling embarrassed he couldn't do much of his part to help.

"But- but this is only phase 1 of my Master plan!" He then said. Bing Bong looked up in surprise. Stoick was equally so.

"Oh? You do have a plan?"

"I do. Of course I do! It's- it's very complex, lots of moving parts! Yep. Pretty wild," he said nervously. Bing Bong couldn't help but feel something bad about this.

Stoick frowned then. "Well, this better be real. Because Mildew stirred up the whole island. If you don't get those dragons under control, they'll be callin' for their heads."

Bing Bong couldn't help the whimper that escaped him. Hiccup hugged his friend. "Don't worry, bud. Your head's not going anywhere."

Astrid spoke. "You know that there are like a billion dragons out there and only one of you? I really hope you do have a plan."

Hiccup smiled with knowing. In fact, he did.

They met up with the other kids in the old arena. Bing Bong didn't like being back here, as well as the other dragons.

"That's your plan? To train dragons?"

"Here? Where we used to kill them?" The teens asked in utter confusion. The whole gang was there. Bing Bong stood near Hiccup while he explained.

"Yes, because we don't do that anymore. That's why it is available."

Astrid petted Stormfly who seemed a bit twitchy with nerves. "Actually, the dragons do seem a little nervous."

Fishlegs spoke. "That's because they're very sensitive. Meatlug especially. She lost a cousin here. We try not to talk about it!" He whispered. Meatlug looked kind of sad. Bing Bong gave her a cheerful grin that seemed to cheer her up.

Astrid approached. "It's amazing that your dad just gave us the arena!" She said. Hiccup looked awkward, while Bing Bong smirked just a bit.

"Yeah, uh, it would be great if he did, but he didn't, so that's one thing we shouldn't talk about." She folded her arms.

"So, we're going behind your father's back?"

"There you go! Talking about it!" Hiccup proclaimed, before pulling a loaf of bread out. "Here's the thing, the dragons are out of control. They've been blowing things up, we gotta do something about that."

Bing Bong narrowed his eyes when Tuffnut came up with an idea. "Got it, help dragons blow things up! We can totally do that!" Their dragon gave Bing Bong a hopeless look.

"They're idiots…" Barf muttered while Ruffnut rambled on about her plan. Belch nodded. "We do our best to keep them in line, though." Bing Bong chuckled a little.

Hiccup raised his hands. "Guys, listen! This is serious!"

Too true, the Imaginary Friend agreed.

"Mildew wants all of our dragons caged! And I'm not sure about you but that's not ok with me!"

Tuffnut just smirked. "You're right, she's sorry." Ruffnut glowered at her brother.

Hiccup just ignored them. "Right. And another thing, the dragons are eating everything in sight." He held out the bread. The scent was rather tempting to Bing Bong who licked his lips. He liked fresh bread as well as fish. Hiccup approached with it. He guessed it was a demonstration, taking the bread in his mouth.

"Now, when a dragon grabs something it is not supposed to have you can get him to drop it by giving him a little scratch just below the chin." He demonstrated by scratching Bing Bong's favorite area under his chin. He cooed and the bread fell out. Hiccup smiled, treating him to a small piece. "Good job," he whispered.

Snotlout marched up and grabbed the rest of the bread from Hiccup's hand. "Eh, maybe that works for you and Toothless. But me and Hookfang, we do things a little different." He threw the bread and Hookfang caught it. "Now when I want this big boy to drop something I get right into his face and DROP THAT RIGHT NOW! DO YA HEAR ME?!"

Hookfang hissed. "You son of a—!" And he grabbed his owner into his teeth after dropping the bread, shaking him around. "See? He dropped it," Snotlout said in a muffled voice. Bing Bong chuckled inside.

"Should we help him?" Tuffnut asked. "Yeah, in a minute," Astrid replied before they turned to listen to Hiccup. "Alright, we got a lot of training to do btt it with your help we can keep these dragons under control," Hiccup said, as the group left the arena. Hookfang continued to hold Snotlout in his teeth.

"Uh, can somebody do that chin scratchy thing? Hello? You guys still there?" Snotlout whimpered only to be met with silence. Bing Bong glanced back and decided to help.

"Spit him out now, Hookfang. He's had enough," Bing Bong ordered. Hookfang reluctanly obliged. Snotlout pulled himself up, brushing off his vest, eyeing Bing Bong with curiosity.

"If I didn't know any better, I swear you could actually talk," Snotlout mumbled, keeping his eyes on the Imaginary Friend before making his leave. Bing Bong glanced about nervously, he was still nervous about revealing his true self to anybody else besides Hiccup and the other dragons.

….

The next day Hiccup and Bing Bong went their separate ways. Bing Bong then spotted Stormfly who looked rather eager to get some food.

"Hey, Stormfly. What's up?" Bing Bong asked. She turned to him.

"I've been searching for some breakfast but I couldn't find any. Wanted to share something special with you," she said, pawing the ground nervously. Bing Bong smiled slightly. Ever since he defeated the evil queen Stormfly had been having her eyes on him.

"Well, I could always catch something," he suggested, but Stormfly shook her head.

"No, that'll take too long. Why not the Food Store House? It will be easy for us to grab at least one fish to eat together," she offered. Bing Bong then backed up. He couldn't. It was his duty to keep these dragons well mannered.

"I dunno, I promised Hiccup I'd help him with keeping the peace between human and dragon…" he said nervously. Stormfly smiled encouragingly.

"It'll be just the two of us. I'll help keep out the other dragons, promise," she pleaded. Her eyes were so soft it eventually had him give in. Bing Bong nodded, following her to the store house.

However, Hookfang had spied on their conversation. He didn't like Bing Bong ordering him around and wanted to get back at him. He called a few dragons to sneak in for their share.

Bing Bong and Stormfly both quietly snuck in. Bing Bong found a barrel of fish that smelt good and began snacking while Stormfly had chicken. Unbeknownst to them Hookfang had stormed the storehouse, scaring the villagers and started devouring everything there with the others.

Hiccup and the gang heard the screams and ran over to unveil the chaos.

"Stormfly?" Astrid gasped in horror, causing the Nadder to look up in shame, realizing she forgot to keep the other dragons out when noting Hookfang smirking at her, though he too noticed Snotlout looking at him in disappointment then felt new shame.

Stoick was pissed off. "They've eaten everything! We've got nothing left for the freeze!" Mildew showed at that moment. "I warned ya, Stoick. But did you listen to me? No. Instead you put a bunch of teenagers in charge! Now look what the dragons had done! Caging is too good for those beasts!"

Hiccup gave his father a pleading look. "Dad, I swear I can fix this! We were just starting to—!"

"Enough, Hiccup! How can I trust you to control all the dragons when you can't even control your own?"

Bing Bong was busy eating a salmon when hearing Stoick, looking up, and seeing Hiccup with an utterly disappointed look. He cowered, gulping down the remaining fish, sadness inside his heart. He let down his best friend. That was the worst feeling. Why didn't he just kept saying no to Stormfly?

Hiccup came up to Bing Bong, and gave him a comforting pat to tell him wasn't too upset with him. Bing Bong smiled sadly back at Hiccup for not being too mad. Stoick tossed Bucket and Mulch baskets.

"Bucket, Mulch! Load the boats! We need another catch!" Mulch looked downcast. "It's too late, Stoick. It took us 6 months to catch all that fish!" Stoick glared at him. "Don't tell me it is too late! We've got to try!"

Mulch looked at Bucket. "Don't tell the chief it is too late, yer always so negative!" He had knocked Bucket's helmet when saying it. "I don't know what it is with me!" Bucket said in a helpless voice.

Hiccup tried again. "Dad please! I know the dragons better than—!" Stoick just shook his head. "Not now, Hiccup. I have a village to feed. The dragons have done enough damage. By tonight I want every one of them caged. Understand?" He ordered in a stern tone, which caused Bing Bong to cower. Then Mildew made it worse.

"Bah! You can't just cage these dragons, Stoick! You need to send them away now!" This caused the village to an uproar.

"Yeah, Stoick! Get them out of here!" Yelled some of the villagers. Bing Bong leaned into Hiccup in fear who stroked his head. Stoick nodded, not having another choice. "You're right, Mildew. We'll cage them tonight. And then in the morning Hiccup would send them off the island." Hiccup stared at his dad in disbelief and horror. Stoick gazed at him in sympathy. I'm sorry, son."

Later in the Great Hall the teens were in deep depression, while Bing Bong lay curled around Hiccup, trembling at the thought of being caged again.

"I can't believe we have to send them away!" Sighed Snotlout in disappointment. Astrid looked down at her bowl, stirring it until it's contents looked like Stormfly.

"It's gonna be weird. I got used to Stormfly's face being the first thing I see every morning," she murmured. Fishlegs laid his head on the table. "Every night before I went to sleep Meatlug would lick my feet." The Twins glanced at each other with weird looks. "Who's gonna do that now?!"

"I volunteer Tuffnut!" Offered Ruff who nudged Tuff. He had an uninterested gaze. "Whatever. What time should I be there?"

Astrid had sighed when getting up. Bing Bong knew from heart that Joy would hate to see these kids unhappy. He knew he was. "Come on, guys. Let's get this over with." Fishlegs looked ready to cry. "This is the worst day of my life! We're never gonna see our dragons again!"

Hiccup stood up, determination on his face. "We can't let that happen. Toothless was the best friend I ever had…" he petted Bing Bong who cooed silently, until a certain rat interrupted the tender moment.

"Ah, Toothless! I'm gonna miss you so much!" Sneered Mildew. Bing Bong growled dangerously, eyes lit up with hate at the old coot. "You know what your problem was, Hiccup? Thinking dragons could be trained! A dragon's gonna do what a dragon's gonna do. It's their nature. And nature always wins." The two friends glared, until a cold wind blew the fire ij the pit out.

Bing Bong took notice and spat a plasma blast to relight it. One female smiled at him. "Oh, thank you, Toothless!" She thanked. Hiccup suddenly got an idea. "You know what, Mildew is absolutely right!"

Bing Bong stared in disbelief. "Uh, what? You think he is right about us being in cages?" Hiccup shook his head. "No, about the nature thing. Come on, we'll explain this to the others!" The duo took to the skies, flying to the Arena where the teens were saying heartfelt goodbyes until Hiccup arrived.

"Don't close it!"

Astrid gasped at seeing her friend land on Toothless and he jumped off, reopening the gate. "We're not locking them up!"

"What happened? Did you change your father's mind? Or are you going behind his back again?" Astrid asked, folding her arms. Bing Bong gave her a look that said let him explain.

"Uh, one of those. Look, the dragons are gonna do what they're gonna do. Its their nature. We just need to learn how to use it," he explained. The teens looked happy but confused so Hiccup laid out the plan.

The next morning Bucket and Mulch were trying to catch more fish only to be met with empty nets. Mulch grumbled. "Agh, the nets are empty again," he muttered. Bucket scratched his head. "Did I eat them already? Did I enjoy it? Oop, am I being too negative?"

Hiccup, Bing Bong, Snotlout and Hookfang arrived at that time. Hiccup turned to Snotlout. "Snotlout, scare us up some dinner!" He commanded. Snotlout dove Hookfang down, making Mulch and Bucket think they were being attacked; but all that was just them scaring up the fish instead right into the net, filling it up full.

The two were happy to finally have their nets full again. "Hey, thanks dragon!" Mulch called. "That's right, that just happened!" Snotlout cheered out. Bing Bong rolled his eyes.

Their next task was at Mildew's house, where he was toiling at his farm, unaware of the company and help arriving.

Astrid grinned down at him. "Afternoon, Mildew!" She greeted while Stormfly had her spikes go through the dirt to plow the field.. Hookfang followed, dropping seeds into the row.

Hiccup came in on Bing Bong with Fishlegs. "3:00, time for the fertilizer!" He called. Mildew went wide eyed. "Fertilizer?!" Meatlug flew down above the field. Fishlegs smiled. "Ok, Meatlug! Let er rip!" Meatlug then dropped the smelly hot poop all over the field. One ended up splattering all over Mildew who coughed and spluttered. His sheep bleated in disgust. Bing Bong thought that was what the old coot deserved.

"Smile, Mildew! We just saved you three months of work!" Hiccup laughed, as the gang went on their way.

They continued to work together by next having the Twins clear the forest of those pesky wild boars. Bing Bong guided the boars into the barn after that, which Gobber locked tight.

"That was awesome!" Fishlegs cheered when they landed. "How did you know that was gonna work?" Astrid asked. Hiccup jumped off Bing Bong, smiling.

"Because they're dragons and they're going to do what dragons do. We just need to work with them and not against them. You know who we should actually be thanking—."

"They're they are, Stoick!" Growled said mentioned's voice. Bing Bong hissed softly, staying protectively near Hiccup. They were certainly in trouble. "Those beasts don't look like they're in cages to me!" Mildew complained, pointing his staff.

Stoick glared at them. "No. This is not what I asked for. Gobber, can you put the dragons in the arena? And bring the kids with you."

A time later Bing Bong was stuck again in a cage in the arena while Stoick spoke to the kids. Stormfly had a guilty look on her face.

Bing Bong glanced at her. "Now you're confessing?" He huffed in irritation. She lowered her head.

"I know what I did was wrong, and I'm sorry," she said in a soft voice, lowering her head. Hookfang scowled.

"All that sap won't matter if the chief human guts us!" He spat. Bing Bong glared at him before nuzzling her.

"Hey, whether things turn out ok or not, we'll still be friends," he assured the Nadder who smiled at him. Right until…

"You're getting a Dragon Training Academy!" Gobber's voice spoke from outside. Barf and Belch looked at one another.

"Eh?"

"The dude's serious?"

Bing Bong could smell joy in the air which smelled good. They weren't lying. "Seems so!" He told the Zippleback right as the gate opened. All of them ran to their owners. Bing Bong tackled Hiccup joyfully, licking him all over.

"Hey, bud!" Hiccup greeted.

Mildew scowled from above. "Bah! I'll get those dragons yet!" He spat, walking off. Fungus stayed, watching.

Stoick smiled at his son proudly. "Now all you have to do is train them. Hiccup rubbed Bing Bong's head. "No problem, dad. After all, I got him!

"Ahem!"

He grinned sheepishly at Astrid giving him a look as well as the others. "And uh, them, too."

Bing Bong sighed in happiness, curled up on his metal slab he used for his bed after breathing fire on it while Hiccup did a drawing of his friends.

Dragons can't change who they are.

The two friends smiled at one another before the Imaginary Friend fell asleep comfortably.

But who would want them to?

Fishlegs laid in his bed while Meatlug licked his feet, which was both weird and cute. Then in the morning Astrid woke to the happy face of Stormfly telling her let's go! She jumped off her bed and leapt onto her Nadder's back.

Dragons are powerful, amazing creatures.
