A young man in his twenties is walking towards the Pallet Town of Kanto Region. It's currently morning as per Kanto time zone.
"It's sure a long time Pikachu, we finally won Kanto, Sinnoh,Hoenn and Johto conference as well and conquered battle frontier of Sinnoh and Hoenn" said Ash to his faithful friend
"Yep, we won and thanks to our old and new friends that we aquired over period of six years. " said Pikachu
"I know, and they did great in the leagues. I will give them a break for this year. I will head back to Kalos with only Kalos team" said Ash
"So technically, I am a champion of five region" said Ash
"Yes and don't forget you are a frontier brain as well" said Pikachu as he and Ash stopped in front of his house.
"Our friends can mega evolve as well," said Ash to which Pikachu nodded
"Hey Mr. Mime I am back, " said Ash
"Welcome home, come inside. Mrs. Delia is waiting for you" said Mime
"So, how are you doing. " asked Ash
"I am doing good," said Mimey as Ash entered the house he was greeted by his three pokemon.
"Hey Espeon, Umbreon and Absol. Did you enjoyed here," asked Ash
"Yes , we did." said the trio
"Finally, you are back. I am happy for your achievements" said Delia taking Ash in deep hug
"So where are you going next" asked Delia
"Kalos is my next destination." said Ash
"I am so happy for you. But first of all get freshen up and we will have breakfast together," said Delia
Once Ash and his mom did breakfast, they both heads towards the ranch where his pokemon are staying. Absol, Umbreon,Espeon tagged along as well.
Twenty minutes later Ash and Delia reached Oak's lab where Tracy greeted them.
"Congratulations Ash, on winning the battle frontier once again and this time Sinnoh frontier as well" said Tracy
"Thanks, and all credit goes to my pokemon, " said Ash
"And Pikachu how are you doing," asked Tracy to which pikachu replied by licking him
"Welcome Ash, congratulations," said Oak and Gary as they came down and greeted Ash
"Thanks Prof and Gary." said Ash as his Muk came near him all of sudden and gave a slimy hug
"Hello friend," said Muk
"Hey Muk, nice to see you again. Thanks for your help during Johto league" said Ash
"Thanks," said Muk
"Mom you chat with Prof while I go and meet my pokemon " said Ash
"Ash wait, I am coming too" said Gary as both of them went outside
"Well, you really level up your title, you defeated Lance,Cynthia, Alder,Steven and Frontier brains. I must say you shocked me" said Gary
"It all started with Unova league, I decided to challenge old leagues once again before heading to the new region." said Ash
"So Kalos is next" asked Gary
"Yes," said Ash
Twenty minutes later Ash is surrounded by his pokemon that he caught in last six years and old pokemon. He caught several new pokemon like Togetic,Ursaring,Umbreon,Flareon,Glaceon, Espeon,Scizor,Houndoom, Flygon,Banette,Absol, Camerupt,Blaziken,Swampert,Empoleon,Luxray,Rampardos,Abomasnow,Rhyperior,Magmortar,Frosslass,Magnezone,Electivire,Gallade,Nidoking,Alakazam,Machamp,rotom, Arcanine , Aerodactyl, Urshifu, Marshadow, Spiritomb, metagross,Golisopod,Kommo-o
"Hey everyone, are you enjoying yourself" asked Ash as Bewear took him in the bone crushing hug.
"I take it as a yes" said Ash
"So, I will be travelling to Kalos region this time. I wish to give you a break for this year. You all helped me in achieving our dream. We are the champion right now." said Ash making them cheer. For next one month, Ash spend his remaining time with his pokemon and Mom. And time for Ash is came to leave for the Kalos region.
"So you are taking Pikachu and Kalos team with you, " said Oak to which he nodded
"And Meloetta as well" said Ash
"Guys don't worry, enjoy your vacation here. In last six years you worked really hard. If required I will call anyone of you there" said Ash as he bids farewell to his pokemon
-Time skip-
Airplane from Kanto is entering the Kalos air space. Ash is inside the plane looking out of the window. He is carrying a large hoodie so that no one can see him. After all, he is the champion of five regions and prime target of all the new trainers. In last six years he become popular in all regions and his continuous winning streak made him target of gym leaders as well.
"Look at that Pikachu, we are in Kalos region. We will conquer this league as well" said Ash via aura
"Yes, " said Pikachu
As soon as plane landed he walked towards the exit. Post exit formalities he met with Alexa at the airport and she informed Ash that her sister is not at the gym right now. After which Ash decided to head to the Sycamore's lab. Thanks to Gary, he know where to find the lab
"There are lots of familiar pokemon in Kalos region. " said Ash to which pikachu nodded
After a while Ash an Pikachu reached at the lab.
"Excuse me ! Is anyone here" asked Ash after which a person in lab coat came out.
"Yes, my name is Prof. Sycamore. How may I help you," said Prof
"Hi, this is Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town in Kanto. Professor Oak told me that you can help me with pokedex upgrade" said Ash
"Yes, come inside. He called me few hours ago and he told me that you will be arriving soon. " said Sycamore
"By the way, you were working on mega evolution right, " asked Ash
"Yes, I am researching on mega evolution. " said Sycamore as both of them walked towards the main part of the lab. Once Ash got his pokedex updated he was having conversation with Sycamore. Meanwhile a kid came inside carrying a froakie with him.
"Shawn what happened to Froakie " asked Sycamore. Shawn is a new assistant of Sycamore.
"I found this Froakie here with a broken pokeball, I don't know what's with this Froakie. Everytime we give him to new trainer, he abandons them and come back with broken pokeball" said commotion made Ash alert.
"Umm Professor, why he is doing like this" asked Ash
"We are not sure, till now there are more than thirty instances when Froakie disappeared with his pokeball on same night we give him to them" said Sycamore
"More than hundred," said Ash in shock
"So, it seems this Froakie want someone special. I think he didn't felt any connection with his previous trainers or his dream and his trainer dreams doesn't matches at all" said Ash
"That can be a possibility " said Sycamore
Once Sycamore healed Froakie he is sitting beside him.
"Why you do this froakie, why you leave your trainers. You see, we all live you but it won't work if you ditch your trainers. All trainers were good, they have loving and caring personality." said Sycamore
"I know, but I don't feel connected to them. They are missing a charm that I am looking for. Something apealing to them. I am looking for a trainer that not only live for himself but selflessly help others. He should not use his pokemon as tool, he should consider them as a family and friend " said Froakie
"Froakie, listen carefully. You can't judge any trainer in one day. I agree on your point but you should give your trainer a chance. Just you can't judge a book by its cover and same goes for a trainer. You need to give them a chance" said Ash
"You are right, I should give them a chance. But I don't have any trainer now" said Froakie
"Hey Professor, can I spend some time alone with him" asked Ash to which he nodded
"Froakie, you know what. When I started my journey years ago, I overslept and I ended up with Pikachu as my starter. But you know what" said Ash making Froakie more curious
"We become best friends. Initially we started rough, and you know what Inwas like you. I was rogue, I didn't liked him at first. " said Pikachu
"And now we are friends, family for each other including my other one twenty seven pokemon members" said Ash
"And we saw ups and downs in our journey. Trainers that abandoned their pokemon but they are now part of our family. " said Pikachu
"So how strong are you" asked Froaki
"Champion level, We defeated Champions of five regions and this is our sixth one" said Pikachu
"Hey don't kill the fun Pikachu," said Ash
"You guys are champion, " asked Froakie
"Yes and don't be surprised." said Ash
"Hey Pikachu, I think we should leave for our journey. We have to meet Clemont and Bonnie as well. We will challenge them" said Ash
"Froakie take care, hope you find your ideal trainer," said Ash
"It seems you are done with your conversation with Froakie," said Sycamore
"Yes," said Ash
"Thanks for the update Professor." said Ash
Ash and Pikachu started to walk towards the exit but they got hit by frubbles.
"Huh, what you want Froakie" asked Ash
"It seems he want to go with you," said Sycamore
"Me, but are you sure" asked Ash to which Froakie nodded
"In that case, welcome to the team " said Ash as he placed pokeball on the floor. Froakie captured himself
"Hope he won't leave you " said Sycamore
"Don't worry, I will give him time " said Ash
"I can see you got keystone already" said Sycamore
"Yup, In past six years I found mega stone for my pokemon in other regions and that too accidently " said Ash
"But you didn't used them in championships" said Sycamore
"I keep it as trump card," said Ash
"All the best for the league," said Sycamore
Ash and Pikachu are walking on the street of the Lumiose City. Froakie is riding on Ash's head
"Let's have some meal first." said Ash
"What you want Froakie," asked Ash
"Anything you wish, just the thing is that it should tastes good" said FroakieOnce Ash is done with the meal they went to the prism minutes later they are on front of the gym enterance.
"State your business here" said a robotic voice
"I am here to meet gym leader" said Ash
"Do you have all required badges" said the voice
"No, but" said Ash but got cut off by the robotic voice
"You can't meet him, no challenger is allowed here without badges " said the robotic voice as the floor beneat Ash opens and they come flying out of the tower.
Nearby Clemont and Bonnie saw that and Clemonth throws his bag which open up into air bag saving Ash and Pikachu.
"Are you alright, " asked Clemont
"Thanks," said Ash as he looked up and saw Clemont and Bonnie in front of him.
"Hey guys, it's me Ash " said Ash
"Ash, we didn't recognized you. Your outfit is different " said Bonnie
"Yeah, I don't want anyone to spot me. You see I am a target of some people now a days" said Ash
"Who Ash, " asked Clemont
"Gym leaders, elite four , challengers and other champions " said Ash
"Why " asked Bonnie
"Bonnie he is a champion of five regions, " said Clemont slowly
"This means, if I defeat him I will be a champion" asked Bonnie
"Not like that Bonnie, you have to go through proper path. Like challenge gyms, then league and then elite four and only then you can challenge a champion" said Ash
"So Clemont can you explain me what happened. Why I was kicked out of the gym" asked Ash but Clemont was silent
"Actually I created a bot, that battle in place of me and I asked him to enter the gym if challenger has required badges. But I forgot the password," said Clemont
"Oh is that so. Did you tried to bypass the security system" said Ash
"I can't because my clembot is self aware robot and he changed the security passwords. Since I don't have any badge I cant enter there" said Clemont
"We can find a way to deal with that. Let's register for the Kalos league." said Ash
"And Bonnie, did you received the starter" asked Ash
"Not yet, I don't know what to do yet. " said Bonnie
"No worries, everyone take time to figure out what they want in life " said Ash
Ash registers at pokemon center for the league and introduced Froakie to prof Oak. Clemont and Bonnie decided to join Ash to explore the Kalos region.
In Vaniville Town, a girl is training forRhyhornracing under the watchful eye ofher mother. However, the Rhyhorn keeps jumping around and throws the girl off.
"Now I don't want to be a rhyhorn racer anymore. It I feels like I am not made for it" said the girl
"Serena, you have to be patient, you can do it just believe on yourself " said her mother
"Look at him, he don't want me to ride on him," said Serena
"He is training you. You can't get a friendly pokemon like him every time " said Serena's mother
"Fine" said Serena as she get up
One hour later Serena and her mom are watching the news until they came across a news broadcast on local news channel that covers news of Kalos region.
"We have a lead that this year Sinnoh Champion is in Kalos region. Not only that, Sinnoh champion is also champion of Kanto, Johto,Hoenn and Unova as well," said the reporter
"Mom, who is this champion. " asked Serena
"I don't know, but he must be good if he is the champion of the five regions.If someone able to defeat such strong trainers of all five regions must be a strong trainer." said Serena's mother
"Mom, I decided to start my journey. I know it's too late but I want to give it a try and may be I discover what I want to do in my life. Maybe I meet this new champion" said Serena
"If this is what you want then go ahead, I won't force you to become a rhyhorn racer." said Serena's mother
"Thankyou mom," said Serena as she went into her room
Next day of Ash's arrival, he, Clemont and Bonnie decided to start their first new Pokémon our heroes come across is a hungry Dedenne in a tree, who struggles with a large berry before dropping it to the ground. Bonnie decides she just has to have Dedenne, and asks Clemont to catch it for her. Ash agrees to help, but an ornery Fletchling suddenly swoops down, steals the berry, and landed on the tree branch
"Hey, return my berry" said Dedenne
"Come and get it, if you can. I wonder if you can really reach me" said Fletchling before it ate the berry.
"This Fletchling would be an amazing addition to the team. Pikachu are you ready to take it down" asked Ash as Froakie steps forward and launched water pulse. Fletchling shows great acrobatics and aerial maneuvers and dodged each water pulse attack thrown at it.
"Froakie use your frubbles to take down Fletchling " said Ash as Froakie sends his frubbles in a chain form but Fletchling dodged it once again by using double team and striked Froakie with steelwing.
"It's amazing, it knows steel wing and double team" said Ash
"Ash, I have one device. Let me present you flying-type pokémon attractor machine" said Clemont as he pulled his device out of the bag. But without a plan, Froakie is unsuccessful, and Clemont's machine turns out to have no effect on Flying-type Pokémon. It does, however, succeed in attracting a huge swarm of angry Beedrill!
"Brother, your inventions are useless" said Bonnie as the trio is running towards the open area."Pikachu use shock wave" said Ash as Pikachu released shockwave making beedrill head back to their hive.Ash taking the advantage captured one Beedrill. Trio is now near the cliff area.
"Sorry Ash, " said Clemont
"No worries," said Ash as he saw the same Fletchling laughing at them.
"Ash what you will do" asked Clemont
"Wait and watch, " said Ash
"Froakie this area is our battlefield, use it wisely. Use walls of canyon as jumping ground" said Ash as Froakie started to hop from one edge of canyon to another. The speed of Froakie is also increasing. Fletchling then used the double team. For Fletchling Ash has one plan already as he closed his eyes and then identified real Fletching and asked Froakie to use water pulse.
Water pulse hit it's mark making Fletchling crash towards the field. Fletchling balanced itself and then used flame charge at froakie.
"Froakie use your frubbles and blow it using water pulse," said Ash
"What Ash is doing," asked Bonnie
"Don't know," said Clemont
Froakie take part of frubbles and then used water pulse which started to blow it like a balloon. Froakie keep it in front of him after which Fletchling connected with it making ballon burst in the air. Water mixed with the frubbles become sticky substance. Once fletchling unable to escape Ash successfully captured it.
"What a brilliant strategy. Frubbles mixed with water pulse resulted into a balloon. Outer later act as fire extinguisher and then water made Fletchling soaked in water" said Clemont
"Come out" said Ash sending his two new member out
"Hey leave me alone. I am not a play toy" said Fletchling
"You, how dare you to capture me" said Beedrill
"Keep calm you two, we are not here to hurt you" said Ash
"Hey you, you know I am the mighty robin and you committed a crime by capturing me" said Fletchling
"I know how you both feel it but I saw potential in both of you and I want you to be my team member. If you like, would you want to be my team member." asked Ash
"You think so, I mean I know I am powerful and I can become a molteres in future. Tell me something, I don't know" said Fletchling
"Ash, I think he is a broken piece of pokemon. He thinks he can become a molteres" said Pikachu as all of sudden Fletchling started to peck him
"Hey you are funny. I like your humour but I wanted to say that you can become strongest Talonflame in the world. Just one year of training and you will rock" said Ash
"I think we can become a good team. And don't you want to be a champion. We can win the league and defeat Diantha" said Ash
"Are you kidding right, we and champion" said Fletchling underestimating the fact
"He is saying the truth, he is champion of five regions and I can kill you with my thunderbolt if I want to" said Pikachu making Fletchling shocked
"Oh lord, please don't kill me" said Fletchling
"Don't worry, we will become stronger " said Ash
"So, would you two become my team member. I promise that I won't let you feel like an outsider. You are free to do anything, no boundation" said Ash
"Ok, we are friends. " said Beedrill and Talonflame
"Ok, we are camping out here today, tomorrow we will start our journey. What you say" asked Ash
"Cool, but do let me take care of Fletchling, Froakie and Beedrill" said Bonnie
"Okay " said Ash
Once Ash and the gang found a descent place for camping Ash said.
"Now both of you meet my pokemon," said Ash sending his pokemon out. Meloetta who is inside the ball becomes angry and use telekinesis to levitate Ash
"Sorry Meloetta, I forgot that you were in the pokeball. You can ride on my shoulder from tomorrow" said Ash making her normal and she hugged Ash happily
"Guys these are our new friends. This is Bonnie and Clemont. Meloetta you already met them years ago during junior cup" said Ash as she recognized the duo and danced happily around them.
"And these are our three new team members. So please give them warm welcome" said Ash
"Hey kiddo, nice to see you" said Avalaug
"I am lord Tyrantrum, nice to see you three. Welcome to the team" said Tyrantrum
"Meet me, I am Aegislash."
"Hi, nice to see you three" said Malamar and Meowstic
"Hello you three, welcome to the group. Though there are others in the Kanto region" said Gogoat and Chesnaught
"So Ash, how many pokemon you have right now," asked Clemont
"Including these three, it makes up to one thirty two," said Ash
"One thirty two," said Bonnie in shock
"Ash, that's quite amazing team you have" said Clemont
"I have pokemon team from all regions" said Ash
"I saw your pokemon on screen, but having them around us is different thing." said Clemont as Bonnie started to play with Ash's pokemon.
Next day Ash is training his new team member to improve their speed, endurance and stamina.
At Professor Sycamore's research lab, Serena arrived to get her first pokemon.
"So you finally decided to start your journey," asked Sycamore
"Yes, actually I saw on television that champion of five region is here in Kalos and I want to meet whosoever it is" said Serena
"I can tell you but hope you should not make it public." said Sycamore to which she nodded.
"He is Ash Ketchum from Pallet Town. Professor Oak, at some point of time in my career , he acted as a mentor to me" said Sycamore
"Wait, you mean Ash Ketchum," said Serena
"Do you know him," asked Sycamore
"Kind of, when I was small kid, I attended Prof. Oak summer camp and during that time he helped me" said Serena
"Well, that's good to hear. Now let's give you your starter" said Sycamore as three pokemon came out.
"This is Froakie a water type, this is Fennekin a fire type and this one is grass type Chespin. You can decide by taking some time, no need to hurry" said Sycamore
Serena has to choose between Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie for her first Pokémon. After twenty minutes and learning about the three with her new Pokédex, she tells the professor she made her choice and selected Fennekin.
"Nice choice Serena," said Sycamore as he prepared for ownership
Ash and his friends are happily having their breakfast when the Dedenne our heroes encountered earlier leaps out of a nearby bush and nabs the food!
"Hey do you want to be the team member of my friend here. You will get food and home as well" asked Ash
Dedenne looked at Bonnie and then nodded positively
"Yippee, " said Bonnie as she hugged Dedenne
