The throne of heroes is a strange place.

This throne houses heroes from across time and place, even other alternate timelines.

This place truly is a very unique place, one only worthy of ascending should they complete a grand task.

Or if they are well recognized enough as well.

...well that's what most magus think anyway.

In truth, the throne… is a weird place.

Yes, while it can house heroes such as Hercules and King Arthur, it can almost house some weird people such as Shakespeare due to his famous works, Jack the Ripper for its infamous killings, even a magical girl from an alternate timeline… for whatever reason.

Truly the throne chooses people based on its preferences?

Well, it is a sentient place so it's not like we will ever know.

And now it seemed to add a new heroic spirit from another world entirely!

Why…?

...blame the Gods on that one.

No, not the gods of this world, the ones from their world who called themselves The Archons.

The Archons want to see how their own Adventurers and Heroes would fare on the event called the Holy Grail War.

Thus, they made a deal with a certain Will of the world in exchange for trading information on each other's world. The ambassador for this type of exchange is a certain second true magic-user.

...go figure he would be involved one way or another.

And thus, new heroes from the world called Teyvat were added to the Throne of Heroes with their unique abilities. The question is…

How will this affect the 5th Holy Grail War?

Shirou Emiya had many things going for his life.

If one were to look from an outsider's perspective then… yeah you are not wrong.

He has auburn hair and golden eyes, which would attract many females combined with his toned body.

While he is not rich, he has enough money to live comfortably for the rest of his life if he so chooses. Oh, and he can do household chores and cook well so that's a plus.

He has a surrogate sister that would come often to his house to eat his delicious food and he has an adorable kouhai that comes to his house every day as well.

So, overall, yeah that's a very accurate description of his life if one were to look from the outside, he can live happily ever after if he so wished.

...but for Shirou… he is not satisfied with his life.

His dream of becoming a Hero of Justice is the only way he can ever be happy.

As long as he can continue to help people, that would be all he needs.

But that path is a long, hard, and dangerous path.

To become a hero, he needed to practice his magecraft, which unfortunately stagnated. Due to the passing of his father, he could not be taught everything there was to know. And even then, for some reason, his father refused to teach him anything related to magecraft.

He wasn't sure why that was the case, but he persisted, despite the pain creating magic circuits would inflict upon him.

So even after 5 years of his father's passing, he still kept up with his magecraft training, hoping to become a hero one day.

Still though, with his magecraft training half-baked, he needed to find someone to tutor him.

Luckily for him, he founded old notes from his father of how there is a place in London called the Clock Tower where magus from all over the world would come to train.

That is his first goal after finishing high school, he would go there and hopefully improve his magecraft in order for him to travel around the world and become the Hero of Justice he wanted to be.

...well that was the plan until he got stabbed by a red spear.

He didn't know what was happening. From one thing to another, somehow he lived through that experience, returned home, and somehow, the blue spearman followed him here to finish the job.

He now lays here in his shed, bleeding from his shoulder as the blue spearman looks over him with disgust, not on him but of his own actions.

"Damn this shit… I never really liked killing people like this… but orders are orders. Sorry kid looks like your luck has run out."

Shirou couldn't believe his own ears. He hates killing people but still does it because some orders him to!? Screw that!

"Screw…that. My life was saved… from that hell. I was saved so I can save others… from that hell as well."

He can still remember the day he has forsaken himself just to live. The cries of the people around him, the smell of ash, the blistering flames, but he ignored them all and kept going… just to live.

And when he was about to just accept his death… a miracle happened.

"Thank goodness… I was able to save one person."

Those tears, that smile… Those were the things that he remembered that day… The day that he wanted to smile just like that.

"If you can't be a hero, then I'll be a hero for you!"

He can remember the wistful smile his father gave him before he took his last breath as he laid on the balcony with him, dying peacefully.

"I want to live… to fulfill my dream as a hero of justice!"

The blue spearman lazily walked over to him, preparing to stab him one more time, not caring about his grandiose speech.

"And I refuse to die here…"

The red spear glows ominously as it is in motion of stabbing him to end him.

"From a no-good person like you who kills people like they are nothing!"

Shirou can feel his left-hand burning, his prana flowing to somewhere, he decides to pour all of it.

"I WILL BECOME A HERO!"

A flash of light blinded the room as Shirou heard the sound of scraping and the wind, rushing down his face, forcing him to close his eyes for a moment.

And when he opened them once again, he was no longer staring at a blue spearman, but that of a young girl.

A girl in a maid's uniform.

She was staring outside of the shed for a few moments before she spoke.

"This is my first time summoned as a servant so please don't hesitate to tell me if I did something wrong and I will do my best to adjust according to your standards."

She turns around and looks at him with a warm and gentle smile.

She is 5'2 ft, shorter than him, but somehow she carries behind her a claymore taller than her. Her eyes are olive green and she has short, neck-length lavender hair with lopsided bangs. A braid runs over her bangs and is clipped down by a shield

Apart from her unique maid outfit, she wears a priestess hat, a cravat, and many roses. Her crimson dress has two bows, one at her hip and the other on her rear.

Gilded white armor plating adorns her chest and she wears a pauldron upon her left shoulder. She also wears black tights beneath her armored boots.

She gives a courtesy bow to him before reciting an oath to him.

"Greetings my master, I am servant Saber, one of the three knight classes. It's a pleasure to meet you, my master. So long as you use me for the good of the people, I will do my best to assist you from here on out."

She gives a warm and gentle smile towards him and for a few moments, his heart skips a beat and his cheeks flush red for a few moments before a groan is heard from outside.

"Please excuse me for a moment, master, I shall take care of the threat before us. Leave it to me!"

She rushes forth outside the shed to begin her first battle of this Holy Grail War.

Catalysts are artifacts that allow the summoner to summon specific heroes from their era.

Although it isn't guaranteed to summon that hero, it will be at least guaranteed to summon a hero from the era from which the artifact originated from.

For example, if one were to use a boar's hide as a catalyst, it can be used to summon forth Atalanta. But it could also summon forth heroes from the Argonauts such as Jason or Medea.

The chances of summoning a specific hero are heightened but not guaranteed, even more so if the said catalyst is inside of a person.

If the catalyst was inside the person and he or she used themselves as the catalyst, then there is a 50% chance of summoning the hero that is related to the artifact. The other 50% goes to summon heroes that would be the most comparable with the summoner.

In most timelines, Shirou Emiya would summon forth Artoria, King of the knights due to Avalon inside him. Sometimes he might summon her younger version, her tyrant version, and even the one who chose the lance rather than the sword.

However, they are timelines where that does not happen and summon forth heroes that are compatible with Shirou. One of them is himself from an alternative timeline, the fifth Roman Emperor Nero Claudius, the Saint of Orleans Jeanne D'Arc, and more.

For this timeline though, this will be the first one that Shirou summons a maid from the order known as The Knight of Favonius in a city called Mondstadt from a world called Teyvat.

He summoned forth the Geo user, Noelle.

A/N:...so uhh.. How did this fanfic came to be?

Two weeks ago, my brother introduced me to the world of Genshin Impact… and I'll be honest… I got addicted to it.

So much so that I looked up to see fanfics of it to discover that there is not much here in this archive.

Then again, it has been only released for about six months I believe so I understand.

I looked up to the fate crossover and only three are here, one of them maybe abandoned already. So why the heck not?

This may be a one-shot since I don't know where to go from here but if I get fresh ideas… Then i'll add more to this story. Where that would be short snippets or a full-blown story who knows?

I have a challenge for you guys though if you like.

Make a Ganyu Servant fanfic for this fandom. I like her backstory and I want to see some love for her. Make it Ganyu x Shirou if you can lol.

Anyway, back to DXD and Fate writing. Still in progress, just want to drop this one. Anyway Xian later Chow!

P.S: The Noelle stat sheet would be explained further when I update it. For now, leave it as it is.
