Hello guys,
This is the continuation from Fairy Tail: The Ice Dragon Slayer onto this sequel. FT 100 Year's quest begins now!
This time it's 6 with the Ice Dragon god, which will be more lit.
Also heard that FT 100 Years quest is getting an anime. Who knows, probably when it come out, I'll extend things out here as well. Especially with the openings and endings.
Sueong and Natsu will meet again, but will be surprised to see that they're both going after the same dragons.
Reminder, The Arkobolos guild will be introduced in this sequel later down the line.
Note: I don't' own Fairy Tail 100 Years quest.
Chapter 1: The hundred-years quest
[The main task of the 100 years quest is to seal all 6 of the Dragon Gods, also known as the Holy Pentadrakes. Each of them are potentially as strong as Acnologia.]
1. Ignia, the Fire Dragon God
2. Icigonis, the Ice Dragon God
3. Mercuphobia, the Water Dragon God
4. Aldoron, the Wood Dragon God
5. Selene, the Moon Dragon God
6. Veirnes, the Gold Dragon God
"Dragon killing?" Natsu grins excitingly and pumps his fists together, "I'm getting all fired up!"
"We should be able to complete this job." Erza is sure, "After all, Natsu is the one who brought Acnologia down by delivering the finishing blow."
"What-?!" Elefseria is totally surprised to at that.
"So... where are these 5 dragon gods located?" Natsu boxes forward in excitement.
"So you are..." Elefseria then doesn't say anything for a moment.
"Something the matter?" Wendy asks.
"So this is the last, then." Elefseria then speaks up, "If mages of your caliber cannot complete the 100 years quest, then no other mage in the world can complete it." He looks down a little, "So this is my last hope."
Natsu raises his fist high, "Yep, it's the last cause we'll be the ones to complete it!" The rest of the team behind him are also very confident in completing this.
Eleseria smiles at his response before looking at the pentadrake book, "I know not where all of them are, but I have a lead on one of the Pentedrakes: The Water God dragon, Mercuphobia. If you travel southwest through valeria, you will find the harbor town Elmina." It once worshipped mercuphobia as a god. Some clue to his whereabouts should still remain there."
"All right, then let's do this." They were about to leave until-
"One final matter that remains is your reward." Elefseria remains them.
"Oh! I forgot all about that!" Natsu says, wanting to hear it.
"I wonder how much..." Lucy's eyes shine in delight.
"One thing." Elefseria raises both his arms, "I shall grant you whatever you desire. From all that is in this world, I shall grant you one thing of your choosing."
"?" Team natsu widen their eyes dramatically, finding if that's even possible.
"Hmmm, okay... well we'll be off." Team Natsu then exit out of the magia guild castle and head for Elmina, to take down the first dragon god.
Meanwhile, as team natsu is far away, a woman comes from behind the guild wall and is revealed to have ease dropped during their whole conversation about the 100 years quest.
"So that's how it goes, Huh." She says, smirking, "Good thing I stayed out here instead of going in there to get valuable information on the 100 years quest, ease dropping was all that was needed. Too bad for that group, their not the only ones going after the dragon gods as it is us who are as well." She then prepares to leave, and in a hurry, "Now it's time to report back on my findings." She heads out.
The Next day in the Southern continent of Guiltena, the Valeria region:
"Say... even though acnologia wasn't related to the holy pentadrakes, was gildarts trying to defeat him?" Natsu mentioned out.
"I guess you can't blame him for mixing them up." Happy answered.
"I suppose he didn't know where to find the pentadrakes." Carla guessed.
"As for elima, my guess is that gildarts went there first." Natsu figured while looking back at gray.
"Then why would he randomly go back to ishgar?" Gray question his statement.
"That reward from elefseria is what I'm more curious about." Lucy wonders.
"Here she goes." Happy teases.
"It's not like that!" Lucy dramatically replies to him before thinking back on it, "The way he said "Whatever we desire" is way too vague!" she then thinks about aquarius's broken key, "I mean..."
"Are you thinking about something you want?" Happy asked before coming up with an idea for her, "Oh, I know! a lifetimes worth of rent!"
"I would rather ask for a house!" Lucy dramatically replied.
"I'd ask for a cat like frosch." Gray smirked while thinking of the frog-like cat.
"I'd ask... for breasts." Wendy touches her small chest, wanting the big ones badly.
"Not very demanding, aren't ya, wendy?" Natsu says with a straight grin face.
"Wha-?! but that's one of the things I want the most!" She dramatically replied.
"To be sure, "whatever we desire" is so difficult to grasp it almost sounds preposterous, but... let's not count the budget yet." Erza reminds them.
"I agree, but I guess a reward like this is befitting since it's the 100 years quest." Carla states.
Just then, they heard a scream from down the hill, a terrified one at that.
"!" Team Natsu is alerted.
"What was that scream?" Lucy wonders.
"It came from down there." Wendy points down the hill.
"Let's go check it out just to be sure." Erza suggested.
"Gotcha!" Natsu and Gray agreed and they went down.
When they got down the hill, they see a familiar White haired figure surrounded by what looks to be Ice, standing over a couple of bandits, who are in fear of him.
"What the hell...?!" One of them exclaimed.
"You guys through or what?" The guy asked.
"EEK!" They back away.
"That what I thought, now out with it." He demands, "Fodders bandits aren't worth killing off."
With that said, the bandits leave out of fear, running as far as they can.
"Ha! You sure showed them, Sueong." An exceed walks up.
"Nothing but amateurs." Sueong scuffs, not impressed, "Welp Hiouis, let's keep on searching for water city. It's bound to be sitting here in this continent somewhere."
"Aye." Hiouis affirms.
From a distance nearby, "Hold on, is that who I think it is?" Wendy recognizes the Ice slayer.
"My thoughts exactly, I recognize that white hair and Ice anywhere." Natsu does too.
The Sueong turns around and notices the group, 15 feet away, "Mm?" He sees two familiar faces and 3 other mages.
"Oh! It is you, Sueong!" Natsu greets and grins, waving, "How ya been?!"
"Natsu?" Sueong expresses a little surprise at seeing him.
"It's great to see you again!" Wendy waves too.
"Shorty too." Sueong adds.
"You know these guys, sueong?" Hiouis asks.
"Honestly. yes." He replies, "When I mentioned that there were 7 other dragon slayers that helped in taking down Acnologia, the pink haired guy and little girl over there are two of them."
"Ohhh...!" Hiouis gets it now and eyes back at them, "And to my little eyes, I see two exceeds over, just like myself." Which excites him.
"Ohhh? He has an exceed partner too!" Happy beams, a little surprise.
"Can't say I'm surprised. Almost every dragon slayer has us, exceeds, as close friends." Carla said, arms crossed and unsurprised.
Hiouis glances at carla and immediately has hearts for eyes, "Hellooo, cutie!"
"Oh no..." Carla only steps back one time, knowing this feeling of being Lovey-dovey from a certain cat(Happy)
"Hey, hey, how about we ditch these guys and have some alone time together." Hiouis winks and blushes, "As a way of getting to know each other."
Team Natsu dramatically sweat-drop at this, with Happy getting jealous and Carla having an embarrassed disgusted look.
"Ugh... not on your life!" Carla replies dramatically.
"Aww, even the way she declined me was hot." Hiouis blisses.
"Enough playing around, hiouis." Sueong sighs, "Surprises me you're so straightforward with this stuff."
"As they say, unless you try, you won't know for sure." Hiouis shrugs before smirking goofy, "But it was worth it."
"The nerve of him." Happy murmurs, jealous at Hiouis, who sticks his tough out at him in taunting.
"That cat's another love-struck version of you." Gray comments looking down at happy.
"No kidding." Natsu agrees.
"Definitely." Lucy sweat-drops.
Sueong shakes his head/sighs before saying, "Anyway, we are out of here." He proceeds to walk off.
"Already?" Hiouis asks.
"Hold on, sueong! We barely got to talk." Natsu calls out.
"Well, there's barely anything to talk about." He stops, "Besides, we got something else more important to do."
"Really? What's that?" Natsu asks.
"..." Sueong replies, "Nothing but a beast hunting mission. I ask you guys the same?"
"Well we're on a-" Natsu was about to reveal the quest but,
"Natsu." Erza stops him with a hand on shoulder, "Have you forgot? We can't say anything about the quest."
"Oh right." Natsu remembers and gets it before replying to sueong, "We're on something similar as well... but in another town far away from here." He makes up.
"Similar? Town?" Sueong thinks and feels something off about that statement.
"Well, the town we're heading to is-" Hus partner was about to reveal but,
"Hiouis." He looks up and sees Sueong with a finger over his mouth.
"You shouldn't reveal secret business to random strangers." Sueong advise, receding his finger.
"Aye, Good advise." Hiouis understands.
"That's my catchphrase." Happy said.
"Random strangers? That's harsh man." Natsu dramatically scoffs.
"That being said, we're on our way." Sueong turns and leaves.
"We'll probably encounter against after our respective missions." Hiouis states to team Natsu before following sueong, "Time to catch up with Chelliel and Tyrone. See if they got anything."
"Well, see ya around!" Natsu exclaims out, which sueong pretty much ignores and they're out of sight.
"That was pretty odd, not gonna lie." Gray said.
"The whole conversation was." Lucy agrees.
"Right? It appears he had something important as well if he stopped his cat from saying it." Erza figures, "But when he said beast hunting mission, did he mean..."
"Anyway, should we continue on our way too?" Wendy asks.
"I guess it's no use mumbling about it so why not?" Lucy shrugs.
"Aye." Happy agrees and so does Carla.
"All right, on to Elmina!" Natsu matched forward, followed by the rest.
Meanwhile:
"Oh, There you guys are." Chelliel notices Sueong and hiouis approaching.
"Finished with business you had to do?" Tyrone asks.
"Yeah, we're good now." Sueong takes the lead in front, "So this is the city of Elmina, is it?"
"That's right, it took a good while searching out this city." He replies.
"And that means the dragon we're looking for is located somewhere in there." Hiouis said.
"So... the Water Dragon God, Mercuphobia resides here, huh." Sueong states, glancing at the city as the wind blows, "Let's go." They proceed on.
