I woke up gasping and looked around only to see an endless darkness. The last thing I remembered was getting shot, as a company had been offering me various offers for my research but I had declined as it could have been very dangerous in wrong hands and, guess what my refusal meant very little to them so they decided to get me out of the equation. Frankly I died too young, I was highly intelligent and it sucks to die so young knowing that you had so much to live.

I looked around the void and realised that I was alone. I tried to move but instead of walking I floated. I was curious so I started to float from one point to another in the void. As I was floating I thought that if every person's afterlife was to be floating in an endless void afterall I couldn't see the heaven or hell which many priests preached about . I was a researcher so offcourse I had my doubts about the existence of God but still it was surprising to see an endless void as I too believed that after dying the soul just stopped existing.

As my thoughts were on this matter suddenly a white ball of light sped up in my direction and just when I was thinking it would hit me it stopped just two feet in front of me. Suddenly the ball grew bigger and bigger with the light shining brightly I shielded my eyes from the bright light . When I decided to open my eyes inplace of the ball of light now stood the figure of a man . The man was practically glowing and radiating hapiness.

I decided to take the lead " So are you an angel that will decide that if I will go to heaven or hell ". The man laughed and it was filled with mirth and jovialness " No young man , I am not an angel I am an omnipotent entity who have decided to greet you using this representation of a man and regarding your decision to go to heaven or hell, I admit that is a bit complicated ". I was gobsmacked when he mentioned he was an omnipotent entity but I quickly regained my composure " So you're a God in simpler words and what complication is there regarding my afterlife ".

The entity said " You were not supposed to die this early but somehow you did and even though you could have been sent to your afterlife the council of omnipotent beings had decided to give you a new chance in another world after witnessing your whole life ". I was shocked the council of omnipotent entities had decided that I must get a second chance, of course my life had been shitty growing up in an orphanage left by my parents whom I never knew, and being intelligent never helped me to associate with fellow orphans as I was too much different from them.

I asked " If they had decided that, then they would have already decided a world for me isn't it ? " . The entity smirked " Perceptive aren't you, Yes they have and no it will not be Highschool dxd or Naruto world " . Shit I thought mentally the entity knew which one I would have chosen. I sighed and asked " So which world I have to go and another question will I be born as another person or I would be reincarnated into an existing character ?". The entity smiled " You will be transmigrated into another character and as for the world it will be the wizarding world in Harry Potter ". I relaxed at the answer that I will be transmigrated because frankly I didn't want to go into diapers and have potty training again but quickly grimaced because I will be in the world of Harry Potter meaning I will be surrounded by a war with bunch of idiots waving sticks.

The entity was smiling but then again I thought it was because he knew what I was thinking honestly he would because he is an omnipotent entity. I replied " So which character I am going to be transmigrated into ". The entity replied in a cheerful tone " You will be transmigrated into Severus Snape ". I sighed it was not the greatest choice but it was perfect for me, there could be worse choices like Pettigrew but Severus Snape will do . He was intelligent, creative and a genius qualities I appreciated but he was also a bully and could be cruel though the last two could be due to the circumstances in his life.

I looked at the entity " So tell me more about transmigration into Severus Snape ". The entity smiled " You will be transmigrated into an Sixteen year old Severus Snape exactly one day later of Severus Snape worst memory " . I nodded it was great that I would not be a death eater till then but grimaced as I realised that it will also mean I will have to slightly experience puberty again. I looked at the Entity and made the best impression of puppy dog eyes " Can I have gifts or wishes ?" . The entity laughed " Yes the council expected the question and had allowed the permission of only one wish to be fulfilled but be careful the wish must be related to the person being transmigrated into so wish carefully " .

I quickly thought about my options and finally decided on a option " I have only one wish I want the memories, skills and knowledge of Severus Snape till the day he died in books or movies ". The entity smiled " A wise wish indeed, it shall be done all the knowledge, skills and memories of Severus Snape till he died will be yours "

I decided to ask a question which was still bugging me " You all know that I could also try to create a philosopher stone or try to create a hocrux to become immortal so why take the tisk and send me back ". The entity laughed " Death is universal child , you can prolong your life but you can't cheat it, everyone dies it is but the rule of existence." I nodded his words were wise it also meant that I could try to create a philosopher stone but sooner or later I will die . I decided to ask another question which I wanted to clarify after reading the books and seeing the movies " Can you tell me more about deathly hallows it is believed that it will help you to become master of death but death is universal so how can it be mastered " . The entity answered " The deathly hallows don't give any mastership over death, Is it too impossible to consider that three powerful wizards managed to create three powerful artifacts , One a wand with a core that can channel all types of magic and slightly power the spellwork, other a stone with the help of necromancy which enables a person to call spirits beyond the veil and the last one a cloak that completely shrouds the wearer from any type of magical detection ". I nodded and considered its words, they were also my thoughts when I read the books.

The entity looked at his hands as he were looking time at a watch " It's time for you too go, farewell child and good luck for your new journey " He said and suddenly pushed me in my chest. I was suddenly filled with the sensation of falling through the sky and being compressed simultaneously I looked around and saw everything was swirling fast. As the sensation became stronger my consciousness faded .

A boy in Slytherin dorms suddenly opened his eyes and gasped. He looked around and saw his room with colours of green and silver and serpent engravings on the wall. The boy just looked around the room and said " So it was real and It worked ". He sat on his bed and went through the memories of adult Severus Snape . After two hours sorting through the memories the boy just said " It's time to become more powerful and the greatest among these wizards and witches ". The boy went to sleep with plans of becoming more powerful and greater than all others.
