A/N Hey, guys. I want to welcome you back to my Euphoria fanfic featuring my OC Vincent Chiang. So first off, I hope you guys had enjoyed the New Year, but if you didn't, that's all right. Anyways, I want to give a shoutout to a couple of users for showing their interest in this story because that is what it motivates me to continue writing. With that aside, this is the first chapter of The Social Outcast and A Loner project and this is based on season one episode one. In this first chapter, Vincent becomes friends with new girl Jules Vaughn and he goes to McKay's household for the party. I hope you guys will like this first chapter. I know I will. So, this is the first chapter, and here we go.

Vincent's Narration: I don't remember much of the man who's supposed to be my father. One day in Barcelona, Spain, the police showed up and arrested my father for child abuse as well as possession of drugs, and my mother offered me a chance to move to North America for a start of a new life. I was only nine years old when I left Spain. Nevertheless, I accepted the offer and we both moved to Highland in the California state. And in an instinct, my life changed. I ended up going to pre-school, but I didn't make any friends. That was when I met Lexi Howard, the youngest sister of popular girl Cassie Howard. Despite that I had a difficult time adjusting my life since leaving Spain, I had finally settled around Highland. My mother enrolled me in East Highland High School and told me to make some new friends for a change. Who am I? My name is Vincent Chiang, and this is the beginning of my story.

In the summer, with weeks away from the beginning of his junior year, Vincent Chiang was riding his bike down the road in the suburbs of Highland, California, carrying his walkman and listening to music. With his walkman on low volume, he looked behind him and observed one of the worst jocks he ever met in East Highland High School, Nate Jacobs, driving his pickup truck, with Chris McKay sitting in the passenger seat, and nearly ran over a teenage girl with platinum hair, as she fell off her bike. Vincent sped over as he removed his headphones and got off his bike, running over to the teenage girl.

"You okay there?" he asked her.

"Just dandy." she replied.

"Freakin' Nate Jacobs, acting like he owns the road." Vincent snarled.

Vincent offered his hand to the teenage girl, she then took his hand as he helped her back up on her feet. To his surprise, she has a pair of blue eyes, unlike his brown-bluish eyes.

"I haven't seen you around here. Are you new?" asked Vincent.

"Yeah, you can say it like that." she replied.

"That's understandable. I've been around here for the last seven years." he said.

"I'm sorry, I didn't get your name." she said as she offered her hand.

"I'm Vincent. Vincent Chiang." he said as he shook her hand.

"Jules Vaughn. Nice to meet you, Vincent." said Jules.

"You too, Jules." said Vincent.

"Anyway, I have to get going. Don't want to make my dad get worried about me." she said.

"Right. Sorry about holding you back." he said, upon hearing the word dad.

Jules then got back up on her bike and took off, as Vincent puts back on his headphones and went back to his bike and went home. Parking his bike in the garage, he went to the front door and unlocked it with his house keys.

"(Mom! I'm home!)" Vincent called in Spanish as he removed his headphones.

'Looks like she's not home yet.' he thought.

Walking to his bedroom, he took out his walkman and placed it on the bedside table as he got ready to attend the party McKay was hosting at his household. Recalling the small time conversation he had with Jules, Vincent still held some resentment towards his own father, who is still doing time in prison. While he was getting ready, his phone rings. Picking it up, his mother Eva was calling him.

"(Hi, Mom.)" he greeted in Spanish.

"(Hey, son. I'm gonna be a little late tonight because I have to work on an extra shift.)" Eva replied in Spanish.

"Again, Mom? You really can't take some time off?" he asked in English.

"I need to take care of some of the patients, just like I'm taking care of you, Mijo." she replied.

"I get it, Mom. You gotta take care of your patients who needs to sober up and stay away from drugs and alcohol." he said.

"Speaking of drugs and alcohol, are you going to the party your friend McKay is hosting at his household tonight?" she asked.

"I promise you, Mom, I'm not gonna drink alcohol or take any drugs tonight." he replied.

"You better not. Have a good time, okay?" said Eva.

"(Yes, Mom. I love you.)" Vincent said in Spanish.

"(I love you, too.)" said Eva in Spanish as she hung up.

Changing into a rock band t-shirt and a pair of skinny jeans, deciding to leave his walkman, Vincent walked to the garage and got on his bike as he rode to McKay's household. He already figured that his friends like Maddy and Cassie would be there. Arriving outside of McKay's household, Vincent got off his bike and walked to the front entrance where it was already filled with some of the partygoers.

'I don't even know why I'm here even though I only have a few weeks left until I start my junior year, but the hell with it. I'm already here anyway.' he thought.

Walking past the partygoers, Vincent didn't bother to make eye contact with any of them until he looked up and saw Maddy, holding a drink in her hand. Adjusting a small smile on his face, he waved at her as she waved back. The only one time they can talk to each other was when Nate was not around. Or at least he thought that was the case. Vincent's been hearing rumors that Nate and Maddy had broke up for reasons unknown.

"Hey, Maddy." said Vincent as he walked up to her.

"Hey, Vinny." Maddy replied.

Even though Vincent went by his actual name, anyone who he considers his friend are allowed to call him by his nickname. Although this is the first time they had spoke to each other in a while.

"I'm surprised to see you here." he said.

"Feeling's mutual." she agreed as she took a sip of her drink.

"So, how's it going with you?" asked Vincent.

"Well, other than we have a few more weeks until the end of the summer break, let's just say that my life is going great." Maddy replied.

Vincent glanced at Nate, who's clearly observing him having a conversation with Maddy. The Chinese-Spanish teen didn't like the way Nate had treated Maddy during the start of their relationship. But Vincent knew Maddy deserved better.

"I'm gonna go talk to Tyler Clarkson." said Maddy.

"I'll catch you later, Maddy." said Vincent as he watched her walking towards Tyler.

Another case is that Nate and Maddy would constantly hook up with other people just to make each other jealous. And Vincent had seen quite enough.

"Vincent!" Cassie called.

The teen turned around and watched the blonde haired teen walking to him.

"Hey, Cass." he greeted.

"It's good to see you here." she said.

"Yeah, you too." he agreed.

"Are you gonna be consuming any alcohol tonight?" she asked.

"No. I don't drink alcohol since I'm currently underage." he simply replied.

"I'm gonna go find and talk to McKay. I'll see you later." said Cassie as she walked away.

"Later, Cass." said Vincent.

Deciding to leave early, Vincent was about to head out when he saw a familiar platinum haired girl walking in, as he turned around, his eyes widened when he saw the presence of his new friend Jules. Something must've happened. And all of a sudden, the partygoers had formed a circle, wondering what the commotion was all about.

"Get the fuck out of here! Get the fuck out of the kitchen! Fuck! Get out of here! Get the fuck out of here! What the fuck are you looking at? Who are you?" Nate demanded.

"I'm Jules. I'm a friend of..." Jules started.

'Shit. Something definitely happened to Jules.' Vincent thought.

"You're a friend of... A friend of whose? 'Cause you're not my fucking friend. Who the fuck are you friends with, Jules? Hmm? Do you guys know who the fuck this is? Does anybody know who this is? Does anybody know who the fuck Jules is? Anyone at all. You, do you know who the fuck Jules is? So, who are you?" asked Nate.

"I'm just minding my own business. I'm not trying to start anything." Jules replied.

"Well, no, you're not. Nobody that looks like you is minding their own fuckin' business. I know what you are. Yeah. Yeah, I see you. So what do you want? You want some, some fucking attention? 'Cause I'll give you some fucking attention. Yo, is anybody here friends with Jules? Anyone? Does anybody know who the fuck this bitch is? Somebody better speak up, or this bitch is gonna get fucked up." Nate said to the partygoers.

Much to the surprise and horror of the onlookers, Jules suddenly turned the tables and pulled a knife out and pointed it at Nate.

"Shit!" Nate cursed.

"You wanna fucking hurt me?" Jules demanded.

"No, I was fucking kidding!" Nate defended.

"Back the fuck up! What the fuck is your problem?" Jules questioned Nate.

"Put the fucking knife down, okay. It was a joke. It was a-" Nate started.

"You wanna fucking hurt me?" asked Jules.

"No, no, no..." said Nate.

"You have no fucking idea. See?" she stated.

"You're psycho!" Nate called.

"I'm fucking invincible!" Jules declared.

All of a sudden, Jules ends up cutting her left arm with the knife before smearing it on Nate.

"You're a fucking freak. What the fuck?" Nate cursed.

"By the way, I'm Jules. I just moved here." Jules said to the partygoers.

'Mom and I are gonna have a serious conversation about this after I get home. Speaking of my mom, I should probably get out of here.' Vincent thought.

Going outside, Vincent grabbed his bike and left McKay's household to avoid any more drama as everyone else cleared out and went home. The first day of junior year is gonna be challenging for Vincent. And he's uncertain how he's gonna deal with all of the drama. But whatever it is, he can either deal with it or walk away from it.

And that will be it for the first chapter. So what do you guys think? I'm always open to criticism if I didn't write my character properly. I've been hooked to the series since I didn't know Zendaya was starring in the series because I was so focused on her returning for Spider-Man Far From Home. Anyway, let me know what you guys thought of the first chapter, and the second chapter is coming soon.
