Eren's demand was met by gritting of teeth and glares in the audience
"That little piece of shit! He's pushing his luck!"
"You damned brat! Don't think that just because Lord Enma's in your favor you'd escape Hell!"
"A demon spawn like you is being offered a chance to live again by Lord Enma himself. You better be grateful." Byakuya said in a venomous tone
"That's exactly my point." He said as he turned his head towards him
"What do you mean?"
"I'm gonna live again aren't I? It's only fair if I do it on my own terms. Besides…personally, I don't mind being damned to Hell…" He said with a smug face
Toshiro continued to observe him
"It's more like…Something happened to him that made Hell seem to him like a joke. He's making me more interested about him by the second."
"Why you…!" Renji was about to argue when Lord Enma said
"I accept."
All the Shinigami looked at Lord Enma in disbelief. Ryuji Shino repeated Lord Enma's words
"As long as your terms are within our power, Eren Yaeger, we'll agree to your terms."
"What the-" Ichigo said before cutting himself off
"Don't worry, I have only three terms. They're pretty simple and well within your power. Firstly, as long as I'm under the test, no Shinigami of any other Soul Society is supposed to lay a finger on me unless his Society and mine are officially in a joint operation." Eren began
"That can be done. And the second?"
"I must be under the watch of you or someone loyal to you lest any of these guys double-cross the agreement and go against me."
"That can be arranged. And the third?"
Eren then brought his handcuffed hands to the front and then turned around to face Ichigo and the others, Looking at them in the eye. He then gave a evil grin and brought his bound hands up to point at Rukia
"I want to work under her. For all the time I'll be staying, She'll be my teacher and my superior. She'll be responsible for all that I do. I won't accept anyone else for the role. It has to be her. Her and her alone."
All the Shinigami stared at Rukia, who looked like a deer in headlights. Her eyes were wide open with her mouth agape. Her hands shivered as she began to notice she'd become the center of attention in the room. Renji and Ichigo stared at Rukia and slowly back at Eren, who had a slight smirk on his face as he continued to point at her. Toshiro and Ukitake raised an eyebrow at his last demand.
"With…Rukia?" Ukitake slowly said
"Why only her?" Toshiro replied
Byakuya stood there horrified
"No…Rukia…"
Just then Lord Enma gave his response to Eren's last term
"Terms accepted, Eren Yeager. From now on, you'll officially train as a Shinigami in trial under Kuchiki Rukia in the Doitsu Soul Society for the next 60 years. The court martial for the fate of Eren Yeager is now concluded."
Eren looked at Rukia and gave a slight grin "So your name's Rukia, huh?"
On hearing these words, Rukia's head began to spin. She soon felt her head get heavy and her eyes drooping. She collapsed to the ground unconscious as her legs gave way.
"RUKIA!" Renji screamed as he caught hold of her.
"You bastard…!" Ichigo growled at Eren
Lord Enma then announced "Eren Yaeger will be escorted to the Doitsu Soul Society with the delegates of the same tomorrow. Until then, he'll be in confinement. Tonight, I request the commanders of the Soul Syndicate to assemble in this hall for another meeting regarding the current crisis. For now, all the Shinigami are dismissed."
Renji (who held Rukia in his arms) and Ichigo shot a furious glare at Eren, who simply gave a light smirk as he was turned and escorted to the cell.
