Reid woke up to the sound of the lamp crashing to the floor. He sat up quickly and turned his side lamp on, seeing JJ run the last few steps to the bathroom. He got out of bed and went to the bathroom, pulling JJ's hair back just in time as she leaned into the toilet bowl. She sat up straight and Reid handed her some tissues so she could wipe her mouth. "Thanks" she said softly as she took them. Moments later Lewis and Prentiss had made their way into the bathroom.
"We heard a crash from our room, is everything okay?" Prentiss asked as JJ nodded her head.
"I think I may have had a bit too much to drink" JJ said quietly as she threw the tissues into the toilet.
"Good thing Dr Reid was here to hold your hair back" Lewis said as she passed her a water bottle and smiled. JJ took the water bottle and smiled slightly before taking a small sip.
Reid helped JJ to her feet, and she walked back to her bed, flopping down onto it. "Can we get you anything?" Prentiss asked as she pulled the doona over JJ.
JJ smiled up at her friend. "I'm okay thank you, just need a good sleep."
Prentiss and Lewis both nodded their heads as they began leaving the room. "If you feel up to it in the morning, we were all going to go downstairs for breakfast." Lewis said.
JJ smiled and nodded her head "I will see how I feel."
The girls nodded their heads before heading back to their rooms. Reid came back out of the bathroom and laid back down next to JJ. She rolled on her side to face him. "Thanks for staying with me" she said softly as she smiled at him.
He leaned forward and kissed her forehead. "You're welcome" he said quietly before moving onto his back and closing his eyes. She smiled before turning off her lamp and falling asleep.
The next morning JJ woke up to find the spot next to her empty. She slowly rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom, jumping in for a quick shower. Once out she got dressed in a pair of jeans and a plain shirt, throwing her hair up into a messy bun. She walked out into the lounge room and saw Reid on the couch reading a book. She smiled when she saw him. "You stayed."
He looked up at her and smiled. "Of course, I did" he closed his book and patted the spot next to him. "The others are just getting ready and then we were going to head down for some breakfast" he said. She walked over and sat next to him, resting her head on his shoulder.
"Are the guys coming down as well?"
He nodded his head "I sent them a message and they said they'd meet us down there in ten."
The other girls came out of their rooms and headed to the front door. "You two coming?" Prentiss asked. Reid and JJ both nodded their heads as they stood up, she wrapped her arm around his and together they walked to the door to head down for breakfast.
