The knight walked into the arena calmly, his face was perfectly stoic, as he clutched his claymore by his side. Link mirrored his actions as he also calmly walked onto the arena, although what confused everyone in the colosseum was that he appeared to be carrying no weapon.
Midas and Ganondorf leaned forward on their seats with eager grins as the knight had just finished off bowing to them. With Link quickly following the action before turning to his opponent. The two fighters stared at one another before Link shocked everyone by speaking.
"How many of my people did you kill?" The knight showed no visible reaction to the question, but just as he opened his mouth to reply he found himself flying into the far arena wall behind him via Link's fist. The knight slowly rose, using his sword as a crutch looking down to the floor as he tried to catch his breath, but noticed a shadow now overcasted him. Looking up he saw Link standing above him staring down into his eyes and for the first time the knight showed emotion. His eyes widened as he began shaking, for when the knight looked into Link's eyes he was immediately back at war being stared down by the strongest creature alive, Kharmerr. Suddenly a hand latched around the man's throat as he was lifted into the air as Link brought him back to reality by shutting off the man's access to oxygen.
"Look into my eyes" Link's voice had deepened exponentially, his eyes had also turned completely white. The claymore in the knight's hand dropped to the floor with a clang as he started to pass out, noticing this, Link threw the man to the other side of the arena. He hit the ground and slowly skidded to a halt before getting onto his knees to once again attempt to gain back the breath Link had forcibly squeezed from him. There was a clang next to him as his claymore had joined him, looking up he saw Link motioning for him to pick up his weapon and fight.
Gripping the handle, the knight took a deep breath before blitzing to Link and swinging with all of his strength at the white eyed demon. To his utmost fear and astonishment, the sword had been stopped by Link's hand which now gripped onto the blade. Pulling the blade towards him, Link kneed the knight in the stomach, hard. The man's mouth opened as if he was about to vomit as he dropped to his knees, clutching his stomach. Link clamped the man's head with both of his hands on either side of his prey's helmet and squeezed. The man's screams tore through the entire colosseum as blood began falling from his eyes like tears.
"This isn't a fight, it's public torture" a guard spoke to the left of Ganondorf who watched the events happening bellow him with a grin and a curious gaze, something had changed with Link and he wasn't just speaking about his massive improvement in speed and strength. The boy's whole demeanour had changed and it excited Ganondorf, looking to his left he saw Midas who's jaw had dropped to the floor and now had a star struck look in his eyes.
"I knew he had gotten stronger, but this is something else entirely" Ganondorf looked at him confusedly which Midas noticed and answered. "I mean we only trained his chakra abilities, which sure would help with his natural physical strength and what not, but not to this extent. Whatever this is, it isn't chakra and I'm not even sure it's Link" Midas trailed off with an almost worried tone that caused Ganondorf to raise his eyebrow as he once again turned back to look at Link, who had just once again sent the knight flying. As ganondorf stared hard at Link he began to notice things, the boy's eyes for one had transformed into an almost ethereal white, Link looked like he was under a trance. Ganondorf would have to wait a bit longer to find out what this was for now it seemed.
Back in the arena Link was stalking towards the knight who was attempting to crawl away as fast as he could. His armour was now trashed and drenched in blood, his helmet having been long since discarded. Unfortunately for the man Link had caught up with him and was now heaving him up by his hair. That was when it hit him, he could just forfeit and this monster would have to stop or he would be disqualified.
The man lay whimpering and shaking on the floor as Link looked down at him in disgust, he spat on the floor before putting his hands together and running through hand signs faster than anyone could see. A rumbling was heard as dark stormy clouds suddenly appeared in the skys almost as if they were summoned there. Link held up a hand to the sky before swinging it back down as if giving an order to an army. They saw it before they heard it, a massive white streak of lightning in the shape of a sword struck the practically already dead knight on the floor, soon after a deafening roar of thunder could be heard.
The crowd and everyone present was silent for the first time they had stepped foot in the colosseum. There was nothing left of Link's opponent but the blood he had shed. Link soon after made his way out of the arena, not boasting or looking towards anyone, no one could tell but his eyes had slowly changed back to their original colour as one massive question was blaring inside his head , What the fuck was that?
Link stumbled into his waiting area and collapsed onto the floor, panting like he had just run around the continent. Link hadn't been in control of his body since he had locked eyes with his opponent, it was almost the same feeling he had whenever he had those visions, but this time he was actually looking through his own eyes. He crawled up to the far wall and sat with his back against it and attempted to catch his breath and gain control of the rampant thoughts running around in his head. After a couple of minutes of deep breaths, Link finally had control of himself again, he racked his brains for what could have possibly happened. Sure, he had wanted to kill the ex-knight since he found out that he had a part to play in the war against his people, but he didn't want to torture the man. The more he thought the more annoyed he got with the whole situation, the only possibility that he could think of was simply ridiculous. He heard Ganondorf announce the beginning of round two with the first fight being Tokan against that Akaza guy in the background as he slowly slipped into sleep unwillingly.
Link awoke groggily as he slowly stood up, wiping the sleep from his eyes. He soon realised that he must be having one of the dreams/visions as he was standing in what appeared to be a completely different dimension to the one he had been in before he fell asleep. He stood on a floor made out of black flames that licked up at him, but failed to cause any damage or harm. The sky(?) was a depressing ashy grey, as far as he could see the grey and flames were there. It seemed as though both the fiery floor and stormy sky went on forever. Link began walking through the weird plain, this was the first vision that he had been in control of his body in, he realised absently.
"So It's you is it? You're the one replacing me?" A familiar voice came from behind Link.
Around the same time that Link was falling asleep and slipping into his dream, Tokan had just made her way into the arena. Akaza stood in the middle facing her with a large grin on his face, having already bowed to Ganondorf. Tokan moved to face Ganondorf and bowed. The second her body was in a ninety degree angle she dashed to the other end of the arena out of the way of Akaza's slash. He looked up, through the sand cloud he created and grinned at her wildly. Tokan dropped down onto one knee and began racing through her prayer like she had done before. However, unlike before her opponent wasn't going to let her finish the prayer.
Akaza was looming in front of her before she could even get halfway through her prayer and was holding his sword above his head, preparing to stab straight through Tokan. She dashed to the left of him and managed to escape with only a scratch on her arm. She ran to the other side of the arena and prepared to try again, but once more Akaza refused to let her as he used his inhuman speed to get to her within a second. Tokan quickly realised that she would have to somehow stall him to be able to pray, she began thinking of the different ways she could do such a thing, but she wasn't able to think very effectively when Akaza wasn't giving a second to even breath. He was constantly slashing and hacking at her with speed unrivalled as he laughed maniacally to himself, Tokan managed to somehow dodge and somewhat block most of his attacks. After a couple of minutes of this, she was covered in cuts from head to toe, that's when it occurred to her, akaza was playing with her, clearly if he wanted this to end he could have killed her by now. She barely managed to contain her anger, she knew if she tried to attack him without the enhancements of her goddess she would die.
Akaza suddenly kicked out aggressively with his left leg hitting her in the stomach and sending her skidding away along the red sand. She slowly got up and saw Akaza who was walking towards her quite merrily as he whistled, she decided right there that she hated this prick. She looked up to the royal viewing area and saw many of her fellow soldiers looking at her with worried looks, but when she made eye contact with Ganondorf he was looking at her with a serious and stern face, he then mouthed something to her.
"Fight" and just like that Tokan was re-energised as she jumped up and grabbed ahold of her scimitar. That was when a plan hit her, fight, that was all she had to do, if she could manage to dodge and block whilst she said her prayer, then she would be able to attack back. With this in mind, she began chanting quietly, Akaza noticed what she was doing and dashed towards her once again, slashing and swiping. Tokan began ducking and deflecting the attacks, a few managed to catch her once again, but she pushed through the pain and continued with her prayer. Akaza slowly increased the strength in his attacks as the prayer went on, Tokan's arms were getting tired by the second and her scimitar was taking a beating as well. Akaza went for one final overhead strike, just as Tokan sidestepped the attack she had finished her prayer.
A wave of purple energy erupted around Tokan's body as she suddenly struck out with a side swipe to Akaza's body that hit him and sliced his stomach. Akaza took a large step backwards away from Tokan as he laughed uproariously, clearly excited at his opponent's sudden improvement. Tokan blitzed towards Akaza much like she did when she fought Zeka, however, unlike Zeka, Akaza could match her speed. They began a dance of swipes and slashes, no one could see anything, but flashes. Akaza's laughter echoed around the colosseum as both fighters continued to attack ferociously. Blood flew out around them, whose it was, no one could tell. After around a total of five minutes both fighters took a jump backwards away from each other, Akaza stood panting as his entire left arm was covered in cuts with minimal cuts on his torso and right arm, but overall he seemed fine. Tokan on the other hand was completely covered in wounds as she bled all over. Her sword arm hung limply at her side as she took deep breaths. The wave that was enveloping her slowly flew away with the wind.
Tokan looked back up to Ganondorf and locked eyes with him, a haunted expression now adorned his face as he slowly nodded to her, accepting what was about to happen. Tokan nodded back and looked back at Akaza who began speaking.
"You have amazing speed and strength, however, I massively outclass you when it comes to sheer swordsmanship. You fought valiantly I will give you that '' Before Tokan could give a response she had her head sliced off cleanly.
Back up in the royal viewing area, Midas looked to his side and saw Ganondorf gripping his chair so tight he thought that cracks might appear. Ganondorf's face was perfectly stoic, but just barely Midas could see that a lone tear slipped from the man's eye. Midas leaned over to his right and grabbed another two drinks from a tray that was resting on a table, he then handed one to Ganondorf wordlessly without even looking at the man. Ganondorf seemed momentarily surprised at the offer before he smiled lightly and took the drink from Midas and downed it.
Back to where we left off with Link, he turned around and began frantically searching for the source of the voice. He finally saw it, a man standing a couple of steps away from him, it was Kishin. The man had paper white eyes and white hair to match, on his face were similar markings to the ones Link had. He wore the same outfit that he had in all of the visions, a greeny blue mixture coloured tunic, over the tunic he wore a silver armour that was lined with gold. His large double helix sword was nowhere to be seen however.
"We have quite a lot to talk about, Link"
