Chapter 3

Getting to know Ford and Yumi.

Behind everyone is Yumi and she's nervous.

"Dad who are these people?" asked Yumi

Everyone looked and saw a girl wearing a black and purple coat. She has black hair, hazel eyes, and looks like she is of Asian descent.

"Who sixer what did you do? Get busy with some interdenominational creature. And you now have a kid." asked Stan

"No this is Yumi I found during my travels. She was tossed into natural accruing portal. When she was about 5 years old by her actual father. Like she meant nothing to him. I didn't feel right leaving her there all alone. So I took her with me. I raised her, took care of her, and taught her what she need to know about survival in the multiverse." explained Ford

He looked back at Stanley. He's still a bit mad at his brother.

"There will be time for more introductions later. Now does anyone else know about this?" asked Ford

"No just us and possibly the US government." replied Stanley

Thanks to Dipper Ford figured out how to erase. The government agents minds. Then he went out and sent the agents packing. Ford taking charge impressed the kids but not Stanley. Stanley sent Dipper and Mable inside to get ready for bed. Ford nodded at Yumi and said "Wait inside sweety and I'll show you my room." Stanley and Ford talked for a bit then went inside. Ford found Yumi and lead her to his room. He figured that since Yumi doesn't. Know Stanley and the twins that. Yumi will stick close to him. In the morning Yumi woke when light came streaming in through the window. She sat up and stretched. The sectional that she and Ford slept on was strangely comfortable.

She looked over and saw that Ford is still sleeping. So she reached over, shook Ford and said "Dad time to get up it's morning." Ford opened his eyes and groaned. He sat up, pulled Yumi into a hug and said "Good morning my sweet heart." Ford pulled away then showed Yumi to the bathroom. Then he made his way to the kitchen. Once in the kitchen Ford saw Stanley and the twins. Ford sat down at the table and said "Good morning everyone."

"Good morning my name is Mabel and that's Dipper." stated Mabel happily

"Boy you're chipper my name is Stanford. But you can me Ford." informed Ford

The twin looked at Stanley and Dipper said "But your name is Stanford."

"You took my name too what have been doing all these years Stanley?" asked Ford

"I faked my death because I figured that. No one would miss Stanley Pines. Then I turned this place into a tourist trap. So that I could keep it going pay for the bills and mortgage. At night I was trying to figure out how to get you back." explained Stanley

"No one would miss you what about Mom and Sherman?" asked Ford

"When they called I just pretended to be you." replied Stanley

Just then Yumi came into the kitchen and sat next to Ford. Ford just shook his head and said "Yumi meet Dipper, Mabel, and my brother Stanley." Yumi nodded and said "Hi everyone." Stanley finished making breakfast and they all ate. After eating Dipper and Mabel helped Stanley. When Yumi stood up and went to follow Ford. He noticed that her clothes are becoming tattered.

"Wait right here sweety." suggested Ford

Yumi nodded and watched as Ford left the kitchen. A few minutes later Ford came back into the kitchen.

"Dipper, Mabel can I ask a favor of you?" asked Ford

"Sure you can great uncle Ford." replied Dipper

"I would like it if you would. Show Yumi around town and take her to go get some new clothes." stated Ford

Ford gave Dipper some money and. Could tell that Yumi was about to protest. But he stopped her by saying "This will be a good way for you to get to know the twins. Besides I'll be busy for most of the day." suggested Ford

Dipper got the keys to the golf cart. Ford left the kitchen to go get to work. Mabel put her hand on Yumi's shoulder and said "Don't worry you'll be fine with us." Soos ended up giving the three of them a ride. Because the golf cart wouldn't start. He told them he would be back later to get them. Dipper and Mabel showed Yumi around the town. Then they took her to the clothing store. Mabel started helping Yumi pick out clothes. Dipper sat down and watched the girls. He can't believe that Yumi's actual father. Tossed her away like garbage. And is blown away that Ford took such good care of Yumi. Soon Yumi is in a fitting room trying on clothes.

What they don't know is there is a man in the store. Each time Yumi came out to show Mabel an outfit. The man took a picture of Yumi. The man works for the government and know Kazumi. He has been trying to help Kazumi find her long lost niece. And he thinks that this girl looks a lot like. The age rendering picture that Kazumi had done for Yumi. Then he listened as Mabel talked to the girl.

"Thank you for helping me pick out some clothes Mabel. Sorry but I just don't care mush for pink, yellow, and red." stated the girl

"It's ok Yumi the rest of the outfits look great." assured Mabel

The cashier rang up everything and Dipper gave him the money. He gave Dipper some change then they went to go wait for Soos. The man left the store also and got into his truck. He fired it up and drove out of Gravity Falls. The man's name is Billy and he headed for the airport in Portland. So he can get on a plane to Kyoto Japan. Soon Soos picked up Dipper, Mabel, and Yumi and took them back to the Mystery Shack. They went inside and saw Ford drinking some water in the kitchen. Dipper gave Ford the change. Ford smiled and said "Thank you both for showing Yumi around. And for helping her get some clothes."

"You're welcome it was fun." assured Mabel

"Come with me sweety I'll show you. Where to put your clothes." coaxed Ford

Ford lead Yumi to the vending machine. He put in the code and it opened. Then went down the stairs to the elevator. Ford and Yumi got into the elevator. It went down and stopped at a red and yellow door. Ford opened the door and they went in.

"Welcome to my private study. I worked in here before getting to work on the portal. I got rid of everything having to do with Bill. And cleared an area just for you. That way you have your own space. I even found an old dresser to put your clothes in. I've already brought down your bag for you." explained Ford

Yumi smiled, hugged Ford, and said "Thank you Dad." Ford wrapped his arms around Yumi and said " You're welcome my sweet heart." After they hugged Yumi got into her bag and got out her hammock. She used two support beams to set up her hammock. Ford teared up a bit remembering. When Yumi started sleeping in her hammock. He let Yumi get settled by going down into the basement.
