"That truely isn't necessary." I stuttered.
"It doesn't have to be anything fancy love, but as your can tell we are rubbish at decorating."
"Well the living room has to be a dark color, because theoretically our child is gonna be a shifter." I pondered as I looked around.
"Humph we need dark colors now. Sirius is an Animagus dog and he changes whenever the mood suits him." Remus commented dryly.
"Oi, I resemble that remark!" Sirius shouted from the other room. He came into the room with a stack of magazines. "These are home decoration, landscaping, clothing, gardening...make a list and Remus and I will make it happen."
"This is a lot." I said as I checked book covers.
"You have all the time in the world." Remus said. "Just think of it as extra credit."
"What am I gonna tell Harry and Ron. Their going to catch me looking at all this and wonder stuff.
"Tell them your rich relative passed and you need to help your parents remodel the property, cause it hurts too much for them." Sirius suggested dramatically.
"Better one! Rich relative died and left you enough money that you can be your own guardian. Explains the emancipation and such." Remus suggested with excited mumbles.
"As long as they don't ask my mum and dad any stupid questions." I grumbled.
"Harry is our Godson. I don't plan on leaving him in the dark for that long." Remus assured me.
"Remus something has just occurred to me. After Hermione's first paycheck from the Ministry she is a government employee and they can't stop you from adopting Harry." Sirius said conversationally.
Remus looked from me to Sirius. "I heard how the Dursley's treated Harry. I would never object to saving him."
"Sirius you are on the run right?" I said as my head whipped to face him.
"Yeah."
"Send your money to Dumbledore. He's on the Wizengamot. He can allot the funds to be used for Harry. You can say he made the request before he was caught."
"Bingo Sirius left his will to Harry. If we can get him legally pronounced dead we can release Harry's money to you."
"Only Harry's once I am his guardian." I countered.
"Dumbledore can freeze my assets and give them to Harry as seizure to flush me out of hiding." Sirius interjected.
"So we can't redecorate until then." Remus deadpanned.
"I have a better one to untie all money and move Harry. Have Dumbledore motion for temporary Guardianship of Harry with placement being with me. I can raise Harry until the Wizengamot deems me worthy to take full custody." I chirped.
"Ok, but they won't place Harry with Remus cause of his 'condition'." Sirius said with air quotes.
"Harry's parents owned Godric's Hollow. If Harry can get past it, him and Hermione can live there!" Remus exclaimed.
"You better send for Dumbledore, I think we have this in the bag!" I cheered excitedly.
Sirus picked me up and spun me in a circle. "I'm getting my baby boy!" He cheered. I stiffened in his grasp and he put me down.
"Never. I'm just happy that Harry has people that love him."
