Eto dashed backward to avoid the blade and fired several crystal projectiles at Naruto and the others which caused them jump away except for Naruto who swiftly avoiding some of it and cut down the rest, demonstrating his superior power. He then dashed at Eto but Akaza appeared before him and delivered an unseen punch that aiming for his abdomen.
"Naruto, jump!!" screamed Obito as his Sharingan couldn't see the punch to Naruto.
However instead of jumping away, Naruto blocked the punch by grabbing Akaza's wrist and sliced off his arm with Overdrive, making the Demon screamed in pain as he felt his right elbow burning. Naruto then about to finish off Akaza but Nocturne fired a powerful demonic energy blast at Naruto, forcing him to avoid it.
"Nocturne, bring Akaza back to Izumi and order the rest of the Demons to retreat. I will handle Naruto by myself."
Nocturne nodded her head and summoned a monster that swallowed Akaza before it vanished into thin air as Nocturne rushed towards the gate, resulting Naruto to scream at Yami-nin.
"MAKE SURE NO DEMONS ESCAPE!! MIZUKI, USE YOUR ARMIGER TO KILL THEM!!"
Mizuki looked at Naruto for a while and gave him a nod before she with Obito and Marida chased after the Demons that tried to escape. Naruto then threw one of kunai at Nocturne, making him teleported to her in yellow flash and brought down his sword but Eto appeared and blocked the sword with her bare hand.
"I am your opponent now, Naru-chan."
Eto then kicked away Naruto so hard that he flew to his family. His family as well as several Anbu that preventing any Demons to retreat was shocked as Naruto rose up and touched his broken left arm.
"Naruto!!" Kushina screamed at Naruto as she was about to rush at her son but he stopped her as he took out a syringe and injected it to his broken arm, making the pain slowly go away.
"Focus on the Demons that are retreating!!" Naruto ordered Kushina who flinched at his cold tone as he raised his sword just in time to block a punch that aimed for his face. "I'll handle Eto!!"
Eto smirked and tried to kick Naruto's head but he created a clone without a hand sign to block the kick. Naruto then swung his katana that engulfed in flame at Eto but missed although he managed to land a long thin cut at Eto's chest.
"Naru, Naru, Naru…" Eto muttered with a twisted smile as she sprouted four scaly tentacles. "You can't defeat me, Naru-chan. You are injured and weak. Has four years of vanishing from the world makes you slow and weak?"
Naruto replied as he blocked the tentacles and smirked, "No but it gives me another chance to make you kneel before me."
Eto didn't show any emotions other than laughing hysterically at Naruto as she slowly pressuring Naruto but deep down, she is furious for him reminded her what happened years ago. She then saw Minato tried to help his son which gave her an idea to strike him down but Naruto blocked the tentacle that aiming for his head, saving Minato in the process.
Unfortunately, the other three tentacle smashed Naruto's legs and hit his ribs, sending him to the nearby wall. She then screamed so loud that caused the Konoha-nin within her radius to cover their ears and fell to their knees, giving her a chance to finish off Naruto.
"This is the end for you. Don't worry, I will send your head to Mikhail."
Eto raised her tentacles and brought it down to pierce Naruto but after hearing her mentioned his best friend's name, Naruto became angry and activated his Mangyekō Sharingan. As the tentacles getting closer to his forehead, neck, heart and abdomen.
Suddenly, Naruto disappeared.Eto coughed up blood as she noticed Naruto's blazing katana pierced through her stomach. She slowly turned around and realized that Naruto had swapped place with a corpse of Demons.
"Y-You…"
Naruto pushed the katana deeper, making the green haired sexy woman screamed in pain as she felt her stomach boiling. She then heard Naruto spoke to her in a cold tone,
"Even though you are going to survive from this stab. It doesn't mean you won't feel the pain just like a human."
Naruto then asked, "What do you find entertaining on killing humans?"
Eto flinched as she remembered that she heard those words before and in a split second she had a flashback of a man with crimson mark.
"What's so amusing about that?"
Eto froze as Naruto asked her again,
"What do you take life for, exactly? Why do you forget?"
In anger, Eto gritted her teeth and immediately exploded. Naruto who unable to react in time suddenly reappeared six feet away from his position to dodge the flying flesh and bones of Eto but was thrown away and crashed into the building behind him.
Minato and Kushina rushed at him as Hayami, Rosamund, Mizuki, Obito, Marida and Legendary Sannin arrived at the scene after hearing the explosion. The Hokage and his wife gasped and horrified at the condition of their eldest son which made Minato screamed for Tsunade who didn't think anything but rushed to Naruto. She too horrified at his conditions; bleeding from head to toes with several crystallized flesh and bones pierced his body and one of them possibly hit his heart while his eyes are bleeding profusely.
"Hang on, Naruto!! I will save you!!"
Tsunade quickly healed Naruto's wounds as Mizuki rushed to his side and horrified. She immediately grabbed his broken hand as he stared at her while panting heavily.
"Did… you kill them?" asked Naruto as he coughed up blood to Mizuki.
"I do but some of them managed to escape."
"Good… Once, I wake up…. You better… standby your… wallet."
As soon as he said that, Naruto immediately passed out, causing Tsunade to carry him and ordered Mizuki to follow her.
An hour later
Konoha's Hospital
An exhausted Tsunade came out from the operation room, prompting Kushina and her husband to ask how is their son.
"He is fine. I managed to heal his wounds however he still has to stay at hospital for few days because of broken legs and his left arm. It is a miracle that he survived." replied Tsunade as she took off her gloves and smiled when Minato and Kushina relieved at what they heard. "Don't worry, he is strong. He will wake up in few days or maybe tomorrow."
"Mizuki-dono, while I was performing surgey to him, I noticed that his interal wounds are slowly healing itself. It is similar to my grandpa's abilities. Can you explain about it to me?" asked Tsunade to Mizuki.
"It's Overdrive."
Orochimaru looked at Mizuki and asked,
"Overdrive? What is that?"
"An ancient combat style that can wound and kill a Demon. It also can heal Naruto's wounds. Minato, Kushina, did Naruto stab Eto or cut off her arm something?"
Minato nodded his head as he remembered his son stabbed Eto earlier, "Yeah and his katana is burning and producing sparkle-like electricity and a unique sound. Where did he learn that?"
Mizuki shrugged off her shoulders, "No idea but he told me he can use that since he was a kid. He also explained to me that how he breath is different than a normal person. Ah whatever, it's hard to explain because I fell asleep when he explained to me. So, when can I visit him?"
Everyone sweatdrop at her explanation while Tsunade shook her head in disbelief and replied Mizuki's question.
"You may visit him since he trusts you but the rest of you have to wait tomorrow."
Mizuki immediately entered the room, leaving a furious Kushina.
"Why did you let her see my son?" asked Kushina with an angry face to Tsunade. "I am his mother, I am the one that gave birth to him and only I can see him! Why you let that bitch see my Naru-chan first instead of me?"
"Like I said, Naruto only trust her than any of us and besides I bet he don't want to see your face after what just happened." replied Tsunade to Kushina who didn't show any sign of calming herself down.
"But still, I am her mother! I have the right to see my son?!"
"Kushina..." Tsunade called her with a serious tone that made Kushina rolled her eyes and looked away after crossing her arms on her chest. "This is my hospital and he is my patient and I am his doctor. As long as he is in that room, I can decide who can and cannot visit him. Understand?"
"Fine, whatever!"
"Good, as for the rest of you guys go get some rest after what just happened."
Obito raised his hand and asked, "Tsunade-sama, when can we visit him?"
"Tomorrow, now get the hell out of my sight before I change my mind."
Still can't believe with her decision and anger with what she said, Kushina stomped her feet and left her family, making Tsunade shook her head. Minato and his children then chased after her while Obito shrugged off his shoulder and left the building with Marida.
"Well, at least you give a valid reason." Orochimaru said to Tsunade.
"We've hurt him so much, Oro." Tsunade replied to her friend who gave her a sad face and nodded his head. "We focused on Umi-chan, Menma-chan and Mito-chan so much that we left Naruto by himself."
"But since he is here, we might earn a chance and his forgiveness." Jiraiya spoke to the two of them. "I am the reason why we neglected him. If only that day I didn't tell Minato about the prophecy... None of this will happen."
Seeing his best friend sad, Orochimaru placed his hand on his shoulder and said, "Whatever happened in the past has already happened, Jiraiya. You can't change that but you are right. Since Naruto is here, we might get a chance to fix back what we messed but we need to earn his chance."
"Orochimaru is right and I believe he will give us a second chance."
Jiraiya smiled and thanked the Snake Sannin and the Slug Sannin. He then grinned and asked, "Sake?"
Tsunade shook her head at his antic and said, "Why not?"
"As long as you pay since it is your idea." said Orochimaru, causing the three of them laughed and went to the nearby bar to relax after what happened.
Inside Naruto's Room
"Hey…"
Mizuki sat on the bed and looked at Naruto who's staring at the outside of the window.
"Thanks for coming." she said with a smile while at the same time ignoring the pain of being ignored.
"For the record, I came here not to save your ass or their or help you the war. I came here to bring back Mikhail and to fix back my mistake." Naruto replied coldly to Mizuki and looked at his broken legs that had been put cast with anger.
"But still… I am glad that you are here."
Mizuki said to cool him down and smiled at Naruto as she grabbed the nearby chair and pulled it closer to Naruto's bed and sat on it.
She then stared at the bandages that wrapped his broken arm and asked, "How do you feel?"
"I don't know, my legs and left arm are broken. I think I'm good." Naruto replied sarcastically to Mizuki. "What do you want?"
"Just checking you-"
"Oh, really? If that's all you want then please leave me now. I need to sleep." Naruto laid down on his bed and turned around, making Mizuki smiled sadly at Naruto and left the room but not before wishing her good night and whispered I love you.
As he closing his eyes slowly, Naruto whispered to himself, "I will bring you back, Mikhail. I promise."
At the same time
"That bastard…"
A fully recovered Eto could be seen sitting on a chair while Izumi wrapping bandages around her still recovering arms and clipped it.
"How does he look?"
Eto cursed Naruto under her breath and replied, "He looks skinny, way skinnier than Mikhail himself. His hair is messy and longer and he is slow and weak but he still manage to cut off Akaza's arm."
"Really? I wonder what happened to him that makes him like that." said Izumi as she grabbed a nearby bottle and poured red liquid into a cup and gave it to Eto who sniff at it and smirked before drank it, feeling fresh after drinking the blood that belongs to Mikhail. "Well if he is weak and slow then I have to postpone the war."
"Why will you do that?" asked a curious Eto to Izumi.
"What's the point of fighting him in that state? I want him to fight me at his full power. Besides, this war is to make him come out from wherever he hid." replied Izumi to Eto. She then replied before Eto could say something, "I know he did defeated me years ago but I've grown more stronger and powerful than he could even imagine. That day, I only miscalculated his timing to attack me and that's the reason why he almost killed me."
"And don't forget that he hesitated to kill you after you revealed your plan to him." Eto added to Izumi who laughed and nodded at her.
"He is still soft and when I meet him, I will make sure he regret not taking my offer to stand by my side eight years ago."
Eto finished her drink and asked,
"How is Mikhail?"
"Almost become exactly like you."
A floating and naked Mikhail could be seen inside a cocoon-like tank with several glowing tendrils that attached to his body especially the back of his head, neck and heart seems feeding him something.
His fingers suddenly moved as the camera zooming in on his face.
Then, slowly, he opened his left eye, revealing a dark sclera with red irises.

• Armiger : Based on Final Fantasy XV. Armiger is a unique bloodline that belongs to several Kagami. It's been 50 years since a Kagami has Armiger. It allows a Kagami to summon crystallized weapons from thin air or created weapons by simply thinking. Any of Kagami's allies could use this ability as long as the Kagami bless her power to them. It can harm or kill a Demon but less lethal compare to Overdrive to a Demon.
What will happen in the next chapter? Will Naruto explain how he figured out Izumi's ability and how he almost kill her?
