That night, Harry took the others with him to Hagrid's hut. The moment they arrived, Harry knocked on the door and Hagrid answered.
"Hello. Sorry but now's not the time."
"Hagrid." Said Neville.
"We know about the Philosophers Stone." All of them said which got Hagrid to stop midway on closing the door.
"You what?" Hagrid asked as he let them in.
"It's true. That's what Fluffy's guarding." Said Harry. "We know Quirrell's after it. Professor Snape is fighting against him."
"You're not still on about him are you? Professor Quirrell is one of the teachers protecting the stone. Even Professor Snape knows he'll do no such thing."
"One of the teachers?" Luna.
"There are other things protecting the stone as well?" Jerry asked. "Like spells and enchartments?"
"I shouldn't have told you. I should not have told you."
Just then, the cauldron on Hagrid's fire place began to hiss.
"Ah. Must be ready." He said as he put on oven mitts.
The six watched as Hagrid then pulled out what looked like a hot egg.
"Is that a...a dragon egg?" Ginny asked as Hagrid put it on the table. "Hagrid where did you get that?"
"Won it from a stranger I met in the forest. He was glad to be rid of it."
By then, the egg began to hatch. And then, a green baby dragon had emerged from it.
"I know what that is." Said Neville. "It's a Norwegian Rigeback."
"It's green." Said Tom. "It has a Ridgeback as you said. And it's,"
"A girl dragon." Said Ginny. "Charlie showed me how to tell the differents between the male and females.
"And look. She knows her mummy." Hagrid said as the dragon turned to him. "Ah come here littler Norberelle."
"Norberelle?" Jerry asked.
"She's gotta have a name don't she?"
By then, Norberelle turned to Tom and, even at her size, she breaved a huge brath of fire on the cats face. Leaving him covered with ash and an annoied look on his face.
"Right." He said.
"Hagrid you can't keep her." Said Ginny. "It's against the wizarding law to keep dragons."
"You know how hard it is to keep dragons away from muggles." Said Neville. "The ministry has to wap their minds if they ever saw one."
"I can't give her up." Said Hagrid.
"In a few weeks she's gonna be as big as your hut." Said Ginny. "Plus your hut is made of wood."
"Hay. Who's that?"
When Hagrid asked that, everyone turned to the window and saw,
"Draco Malfoy." Said Jerry.
"Hagrid can't keep Norberelle." Ginny said when they returned to the common room. "He'll get in trouble with Dumbledore."
"And worse, Malfoy knows." Said Tom. "He'll go telling on Hagrid any moment."
"Well we gotta convince Hagrid to get rid of her." Said Neville.
"I know." Said Harry. "We could send her to Charlie."
"Charlie?" Ginny asked.
"You know. Your brother in Romania." Said Luna.
"Oh. That Charlie." Ginny said giggling.
"You said he's there studying dragons." Said Jerry. "We could have Hagrid send Norberelle there."
"If we can convince him." Said Harry.
Many days had passed as April had become May. No matter how hard Harry, Ginny, Tom, Jerry, Neville, and Luna tried to convince Hagrid, he refused to give up Norberelle.
"I know I can't keep her but she's still a baby. What if she won't like Romania? What if the other dragons are mean to her?"
By the days that passed, Norberelle had indeed grown to the size of Hagrid's hut and the six were really worried that Malfoy will rat Hagrid out soon.
A couple days before the final exams, the six had finally got Hagrid convinced that he had to let her go. All dragons like other animals had to venture away from their families someday.
One day just after the last class of the day, Ginny had gotten the replie letter she had sent to Charlie thanks to Hedwig. She quickly took the others into a broom cupboard and read it.
"Charlie's thanking me for sending him the information about Norberelle. He's glad to have a Norwgian Ridgeback."
"When we'll he send a team to retreave her?" Luna asked.
"It has to be at night after curfew to keep others out. And on top of the Astronomy Tower."
"How are we gonna get there without being seen?" Neville asked.
"I have an idea." Said Jerry.
"What is it?" Tom asked.
"Remember how Harry managed to resize the Invisbilaty Cloak for us?"
"I remember." Said Harry. "That's it. I get it. I'll make the cloak big enough to cover all of us and Norberelle."
Unknown to them, Malfoy had seen them walk into the cupboard and listened to what they were saying through the door. And then quickly left befor he was seen.
"So Potter has an Invisibilaty Cloak." He said to himself.
By then, he found out what to do. This was his last chance to get Harry expelled.
That night, the six went to Hagrid's hut as he got a huge crate with Norberelle in it.
"I packed her food and her teddy bear so she won't get lonely on the trip."
"She's most likely gonna eat the bear first." Said Tom.
"Well, this is goodbye Norberelle. It was nice raising you."
Just as Hagrid walked back inside, Harry quickly through the cloak over the crate as he, Ginny, Tom, Neville, and Luna grabbed it. Jerry was under the cloak but on top of the crate to keep a look out for teachers and prefects and of course, Filch and even Peeves.
Soon, they had rached the seventh floor. Jerry had seen no sign of any teachers or prefects or Filch along the way. He did spot Peeves with The Bloody Barron which ment they didn't have to worry about him.
When they had reached the staircase to the Astromony Tower, Malfoy had put his plan into effect. McGonagall was behind him as Malfoy pulled out his wand and casted a wind from it. Making the cloak blow off of them and reveal them and the crate.
"I told you Professor. Potter was brinding a dragon. It's in that crate."
The six shivered as McGonagall walked to the crate and opened it. Revealing Norberelle who tried to bite her but she slammed the crate shut and locked it.
"You six! Put down the crate and get into my office right now!" She hissed at them as she grabbed the cloak.
Doing as they were told, the six set the crate down and walked with McGonagall and a satisfied Malfoy to her office.
Just as they left, the team Charlie had sent over had heard the comotion and came to to see if Norberelle was alright. They found the crate and the unharmed dragon. Quickly, they took the crate and left before anyone saw them.
