"Bisca Cornell here. Tune in for some tunes because it's the Music Festival. Paris is going to be filled with amazing artists and such that will be shared all around Paris. We have people like Erik Cobra and Z, but others all around are getting themselves ready to perform." It's like a music fantasia in Paris as everyone was getting ready to see concerts happening all around, and there's one group that like to share their voices.
"Where you do want this, Gajeel?" Lisanna asked as she pushed a amp.
"Over there. Just make sure it doesn't fall into the water." Gajeel said as he pointed to the side. Lucy, Erza, Levy, Gray, and Lisanna were all at Gajeel's houseboat. They decided to put on a little show themselves. All of them were helping out as they cleared up some space.
"This is going to be awesome. Performing on an actual boat? Incredible." Levy said. "By the way, I know you're playing the drums, but who else is performing?"
"Well, Lisanna here was nice enough to be our lead singer." Gajeel said. "I've got a couple other buddies that are going to help out."
"Who?" Gray asked. Gray was about to tell them, but he spotted a guy with dark hair heading their way. He wore a grey sweater with black pants and actually had a black cape on.
"Gajeel! I'm here!"
"Rogue!" Gajeel said as he was happy to see him with the two of them gripping each other's hand. "Thanks for coming. Guys, this is my buddy: Rogue. He's going to be on base." All of them greeted Rogue and were glad they have a base player. At the same time, Lucy was looking around for someone else to show.
"Still no sign of Natsu?" Erza teased. "Don't worry. He'll be here. Gray, any news on Natsu not coming?"
"He said he had something to do with his brother, but he'll come straight here when he's done." Gray said. "He should be here soon." Hearing that Natsu could arrive soon gave Lucy some hope for herself.
"How's it all coming out here?" Another man stepped out. He was older than them with him having black hair and wore a black jacket with a black shirt, jeans, and boots.
"Great, Mr. Redfox." Levy said.
"I hear Mr. Redfox, I think of my pa. Call me Metalicana, Levy."
"Thanks again for letting us throw our own concert, Dad." Gajeel said.
"No problem. I can't say no to a good performance." Metalicana said as he reached for an electric guitar of his own and placed it around him and played a couple notes. "I use to be quite the rocker myself." Metalicana was looking forward to this concert, but he noticed Lucy clearing some stuff away. "Hold it, Missy. What are you doing?"
"I was just clearing some of this stuff out of the way." Lucy said.
"That's not needed." Metalicana said as he grabbed the papers she had. "We prefer the lived in look in this house." He said as he spread paper everywhere. "For now, just try to enjoy the music." Gajeel's got an interesting father, and that might lead to an interesting experience.
...
Natsu
As for Natsu, he was putting on a private concert for his brother. Natsu tried showing his brother how much he's practiced on the piano, but he made a couple mistakes and he was worried on what his brother might think from that since Zeref expects perfection.
"I think I've heard enough." Zeref said. "Have you really been practicing?"
"I've been doing the same notes over and over again." Natsu said. "It gets rather boring playing by myself. It would be a lot more fun if I had others to play with."
"Nonsense. We Dragneels are soloists." Zeref said as he stood up. "I'll give you some time to practice. You'll perform for me again later."
"Bro, you said I could go meet up with my friends later!" Natsu said.
"Not after that performance, probably because of their influence." Zeref said. He wouldn't even negotiate with it as he just left the room. Natsu smashed his hands against the piano in frustration.
"Look at the bright side. At least we get a great view of all the concerts." Igneel said as he came out of hiding.
"Yeah, but it's not as fun without my friends." Natsu said.
"You still got me." Igneel said. "You said so yourself that music would be better by playing with others." He tried to indulge Natsu's wishes as he flew around on the piano and tried playing a few keys with Natsu. Natsu helped him out as the two played together.
"Thanks, Igneel." Natsu said as he felt a little better, but still wishes he got to go see his friends. Knowing they were expecting him, he reached his phone to give him the bad news.
...
Redfox Houseboat
Erza, Levy, and Lucy were up in boat's main deck and got the place ready. While they were doing that, Erza and Levy looked down as Gray was trying to signal them. He got Natsu's message and tried telling the girls that Natsu isn't going to make it. Knowing she would be disappointed, the two of them were about to tell Lucy, but it seems like she already has the idea.
"He's not coming..." Lucy said with disappointment.
"Well... It's not the first time his brother stopped him from going out." Levy said. Lucy was still disappointed as she placed metal statue over something.
"Hold it." Metalicana said as he came inside. "You can't put a piece of metal near that compass." Lucy looked and showed she did place the statue on the compass with it going crazy. "The metal attracts the needle and throws the compass off course. That's why they need to be apart."
"I know the feeling." Lucy said as she pulled the statue away and placed it somewhere else. "It's the same with me and Natsu. Maybe I'm the statue and he's the compass. Maybe we're suppose to be a part."
"I think it's the other way around. You're the compass that goes crazy when the piece of Natsu-metal comes around." Erza said.
"They'll be other chances, Lucy." Levy said.
"That's what you said before." Lucy said.
"But it's not Natsu's fault his brother won't let him have some fun." Erza said.
"I know, but maybe it's all a sign. I'm not sure if there's much of a point anymore" Lucy said as she was disappointed that she can't seem to get anywhere with Natsu and everyone feeling bad for her.
"Sir!" Rogue called as he tried coming in. "We're all set. We just need Sting now."
"Lucy, why don't you go get Sting? Try and take your mind off your problems." Metalicana said.
"Okay, but who's Sting?" Lucy questioned.
"Sting's my best friend. He's just below deck." Rogue said. Lucy just went for it as she went to get this Sting. She made her way down the boat and looked around for him. As she looked, she got spooked when she heard the sound of a guitar. She turned around to meet a guy with spikey blonde hair with an earring. He wore a blue vest with some fur in it and wore a grey top with his pants tucked into his boots and wore gloves that reached his shoulders. Suddenly, something came over her with the way he looked and smiled at her.
"Oh... You must be Sting. I'm L-L-Lucy." She stuttered for some reason.
"Hi, L-L-Lucy." Sting joked, but Lucy just felt embarrassed with him feeling bad. "Sorry. I do better with this." He started playing the guitar and it sounded amazing. It was soothing, relaxing, and Lucy felt herself at peace of mind.
"Wow. You're really good." Lucy said. She looked around and spotted something on his guitar case. "You like Erik Cobra?"
"Yeah. He's my favorite." Sting said.
"Mine too!" Lucy said as she felt like she was making a real connection. "Anyway, everyone's waiting for you."
"Does that mean we're ready to rock? Sweet." Sting said as he got up. Lucy didn't know what it was, but there was something interesting about this guy. "You coming?" Lucy followed after him. There's clearly something there. When Sting made it, all of them set things up to see how they would sound. Gajeel on drums, Rogue on base, Lisanna the singer, and Sting the guitarist.
"Here. You're going to need these. Trust me." Levy said as she handed some earplugs to the others. It was a good thing they stuck them inside. As soon as they tested how they sounded, it was like an explosion of sound. That loud noise drew the police over.
"What is going on here?!" Lahar called as he was coming on the boat.
"Problem, officer?" Metalicana asked.
"Yes, there's a problem!" Lahar said. "You can't play your music that loud!"
"Nonsense. It's the Music Festival. There's music playing all around." Metalicana said.
"Yes, but you can't play that loud." Lahar said as he showed a meter that measures sound. "All those who are performing are required to keep it at a certain level. That sound far exceeds the limitation! We have to keep the music at a certain volume. Otherwise, there could be hearing loss and other kinds of damage."
"It's music! It should be loud." Metalicana said.
"Sir, maybe we should turn it down. That was pretty loud." Lucy said.
"Music is a way of freedom of speech. We should be allowed to say what we want as loud as we want." Metalicana said as he refused to be quiet.
"Not when it comes to disturbing the peace. I'm afraid I can't allow you to perform like this." Lahar said as he pulled out some tickets. "I'm writing you up for noise complaint, disturbing the peace, ignoring an officer, and do you even have a permit to leave your boat there?" Lahar was writing Metalicana for everything he was doing wrong and Metalicana was getting mad. He believes people should be free to express music however they like, but this man here is trying to prevent that.
...
Black Wizard
"Music is all about freedom of speech. If we're free to speak, it should be as loud as we want. How else are we going to make our voices heard?" Black Wizard said as he could feel the anger. He took an etherious and gave it some dark power for it to be released. "Go forth, my evil little etherious, and evillize him!"
...
The Boat
After Lahar finished giving Metalicana so many tickets, he did not take it well. He went up to the deck and was mad.
"I will not be silenced!" Metalicana shouted as he smashed his fists against the wheel. The etherious made its way to him and went in his guitar and connected him to Black Wizard.
"Rocker, I'm Black Wizard. I agree that you should be free to play your music how you like. I can make that happen. As payment for this management, you must bring me Celestria's and Salamondra's miraculous."
"Sounds like a good deal to me." Metalicana accepted the deal and began to change. It wasn't just him. The ship changed as well and it didn't go unnoticed by Lucy and the others. The ship was now a cross between a boat and a stage.
"It's showtime!" They all looked up and met Rocker. He wore black leather pants with boots having pieces of metal on them. He was shirtless, but wore a coat made from purple feathers. He had white paint on his face with dark circles around his eyes and four black lines running down his mouth. His guitar turned white with a blade like an actual axe. "Time to show these people what music is really about!"
"Dad?!" Gajeel said.
"I'm Rocker now, Gajeel. I'm going to give these people a show they won't forget." He played a chord on his guitar and the ship started moving. "Grab your instruments! Let your voices be heard!"
"Mr. Redfox, please stop! You'll ruin the festival with this!" Sting said.
"You can't force people to listen to your music!" Lucy said.
"No way we're playing like this!" Rogue said as they were all being defiant.
"Mutiny? I think not." Rocker said. "Capture them and lock them away!" He played another cord and caused chains to be shot at them. The chains coiled around them with the floor opening and all of them getting trapped inside. "Now, let's show this city how a real rock star plays. Fire!" He played his guitar again and the ship fired cannonball-like speakers. When they hit, the speakers unleashed powerful sound that was bothering so many people. If this isn't stopped, Paris will be thrown into pure chaos.
...
Natsu
"Paris appears to be terrorized by a new supervillain." Bisca announced on the news with Natsu watching. He could see the ship on the news. Now was not the time to be stuck at home.
"Zeref might not want me out, but they're playing my song." Natsu said.
"I know it by heart by now." Igneel said.
"Igneel, Fire Up!" Igneel changed into his own show costume as Igneel was pulled inside the ring.
...
The Ship
As for Lucy and her friends, they were all trapped in the ship with them chained together. Lucy looked in her purse with Stella ready to act. When she made sure no one was looking, Lucy gave Stella the signal that she was in clear. Stella went through the chain that held Lucy and Sting down with them free.
"How'd you do that?" Sting said.
"I... I just managed to pick the lock." Lucy covered.
"You're amazing." Sting said as he was really impressed with Lucy with Lucy getting flushed.
"Hello. The rest of us are still tied up." Erza said to have them snap back to reality. Before they could really do anything, they heard Rocker heading their way.
"Hide, you two. He's coming." Levy said. The both of them moved fast and went to the next room, but Rocker noticed they were already gone and went after them.
"Hurry, Lucy! Go!" Sting called right when Rocker came inside and saw an open window. Rocker played another chord and caused more chains to coil around him, but Lucy was already gone. Rocker looked out the window, but didn't see her anywhere.
"I'll deal with her later." Rocker said. He left the room with Sting and believed Lucy escaped, but Lucy actually hid herself in the room and came out when he left.
"I've got to help Sting and my friends." Lucy told Stella.
"You seem quite fond of Sting." Stella said, but Lucy wasn't sure how to respond to that. "For now, we should focus." Lucy certainly agreed on that.
"Stella, Twinkle!" As soon as she transformed, she made her way out the window and tried to get ahead of Rocker. As for Rocker, he took control of the wheel, saw the compass was working, and his show was still on course. It was like nothing was going to stop this rock show.
"I order you to stop in the name of the law!" Lahar called out as some police officers chased after him in their own boats.
"I'm really he glad he made it. Fire!" Rocker ordered and played his guitar. More cannonballs were fired and blasted all of the police officers out of the water. They all would have crashed on land, but Celestria used the extendibility of her whip to form a net and caught them.
"Is everyone okay?" Celestria asked.
"We're fine, but stop that crazy rock-star!" Lahar said. Celestria was way ahead of him on that. Rocker wasn't going to let anyone get in his way of spreading his music.
"Now, where else should I spread my music?" Rocker questioned. He looked around for his next target, but he did spot something else. He looked at one of the buildings and spotted Salamondra. "You're not stopping my show, Salamondra! Fire!" He had his ship fire again, but Salamondra jumped across them to reach the ship. He pulled out his staff and tried attacking him, but Rocker used his guitar to stop him.
"That's too bad because I'm quite the showstopper." Salamondra claimed. The two of them went at each other as they fought with their weapons. While they were fighting, Celestria managed to get her whip around the mass and swung in. She kicked Rocker back and knocked him down.
"Care for a duet?" Celestria asked Salamondra.
"Nice entrance. I always knew would make a great pair." Salamondra said.
"Sorry, but I'm no opening act." Rocker said as he got back up. "This my stage! I alone say who can perform and who can't, and no one is going to stop me from performing where I want to perform!"
"We'll see about that." Salamondra said. He jumped up and went for the main sail. He tried tearing it apart, but he couldn't even cut it.
"Nice try, but this ship is like the power of music. It can't be stopped unless I command it to!" Rocker said with Salamondra jumping down.
"Let's see if you're saying that after my Dragon Fire burns this ship." Salamondra said as he was ready to use his power.
"No!" Celestria said as she stopped him. "There are people below deck. If you use your powers, they could drown."
"Hahah. This is my stage and I control what happens! Cease them!" Rocker said as he played his guitar and more chains came at them, but the two of them kept moving away.
"I'll try to free the hostages. Keep him busy." Celestria said.
"No problem. Let's see if he can actually dance." Salamondra said as he charged right at Rocker while Celestria made her way down. Celestria headed down and was below deck with her finding all her friends.
"Celestria!" Erza said as they were all happy to see her.
"Hold still. I'll get you all out of there." Celestria said. She worked as best as she could and managed to free all of them.
"What about Lucy?" Sting asked.
"She's safe. She's the one that told me what's going on." Celestria said.
"That girl is amazing." Sting complimented with her getting flattered. She did look for a way out, but didn't see a thing.
"All of you stay here where it's safe. Salamondra and I will get you out of here." Celestria said as she made her way back up. Salamondra and Rocker continued to fight each other as they kept using their weapons against each other.
"Stop in the name of the law!" Lahar called as he still tried doing his job.
"Him again? Fire!" Rocker said as he had his ship fire again. The cannons hit with Lahar being launched in the air, but Celestria arrived back in time as she used her whip to form a net to catch him. He should just leave this to the heroes. As for Salamondra, he was knocked down with Celestria hurrying to him.
"You okay?" Celestria asked.
"Yeah. What about the hostages?" Salamondra asked.
"They'll be fine. Did you also see that every time he commands his ship, he plays a chord on his guitar?" Celestria questioned. "I bet that's where the etherious is."
"Any idea how we can silence him?" Salamondra questioned.
"I will not be silent! We're almost at the center of this city-wide stage." Rocker said. "Once we're there, everyone will hear my music! That includes those junior rock-stars! My music will make this whole city shake!"
"I think it's time someone turned the volume down on you. Open the Celestial Gate!" Celestria used her powers and it formed a chain with a Virgo charm on it.
"Another chain? I think this guy has enough." Salamondra said. Celestria looked around to see how she can use it. When she looked and spotted the compass, she remembered something important about them and knew what to do.
"Better brace yourself for a rough ride." Celestria said. She jumped over to the compass and tied the chain around it.
"No! You can't put metal near the compass!" Rocker warned her, but the ship was already going out of control. With the compass affected, the ship kept moving around like it was on rough waves. Everyone was doing their best to endure the way the ship was acting. Rocker tried to balance himself, but he ended up being pushed against the mass and dropped his guitar with it sliding to Salamondra.
"Now, Salamondra!" Celestria called.
"Dragon Fire!" Salamondra called on his power and grabbed the guitar with it being burned to ashes with the etherious flying out. When that came out, Celestria removed the chain from the compass and put the ship under control again.
"No more evildoing for you, little etherious." Celestria activated her whip and twirled it around. "Time to de-evillize!" She tossed it and caught the etherious. "Gotcha! Bye-bye, little guy. Miraculous Starlight!" Once she released the etherious, she tossed the chain into the air and the magic stars repaired everything that Rocker destroyed with Rocker becoming Metalicana again.
"Pound it!" Both heroes said with their victory song playing.
...
Black Wizard
"Your victory song might be playing, but it will become your swan song soon. You better enjoy it while you can." Black Wizard said as he wasn't beaten yet.
...
Later
When everything was brought back to normal, Black Wizard changed back to Zeref and readied himself for Natsu's piano playing again. Natsu was about to play, but he had a better idea.
"Zeref, how about we play this as a duet?" Natsu said as he wants to share music with someone. Zeref seemed a little hesitant to play. "Please, bro. At least let me have this." Zeref reluctantly agreed as he went in and sat next to Natsu. The two of them played together and it sounded like a real masterpiece. A solo performance can sound great, but music played with others sounds even better. Zeref began to see that himself when the song came to an end.
"You better hurry or you'll miss seeing your friends." Zeref said with Natsu happy he changed his mind.
...
The Boat
After cooling down, Metalicana came to realize that he might have overreacted. He called Lahar back and had everyone work together to meet the standards required to perform in the festival. Lahar measured all the sounds and was making sure all was good.
"Well?" Metalicana asked as they all hoped they were in the clear to perform.
"It's a couple decimals over the limit, but it is the music festival. I'm sure it will all be okay as long as you all watch the volume." Lahar said with all of them glad they could make music. Just as Lahar gave them the clear, Natsu arrived.
"Hey, guys." Natsu said.
"Natsu! You made it!" Gray said.
"Yeah. I was lucky that..." Natsu was about to explain, but he nearly tripped over a box. When he looked down, he saw it was a pretty fancy keyboard. "Whoa... This is a nice piece."
"Do you play? We could use a keyboard player." Sting said.
"Yeah. I'm pretty good." Natsu said.
"Perfect. Come play with us. I'm Sting." He said as he held out his hand and Natsu took it.
"I'm Natsu." Those two easily became friends. As for Lucy, she felt something strange going on. She was glad Natsu made it, but she felt something going on with her when she looked towards Sting. Erza and Levy could see what was going on.
"Looks like the compass might be changing direction." Levy teased with her and Erza having a chuckle.
"What? You mean... Me and Sting?" Lucy said as she tried to sound innocent. She thought the idea was silly, but maybe not too silly.
"See, Lucy? Disorder and a bit of chaos can be a good thing." Metalicana said. "If we had clean this place, we never would have found a keyboard player for the music. The same can be said with love. Something bad can lead to something good." That might be true. As her friends began playing together, she could feel herself getting a little disordered between Sting and Natsu. This compass of love might be getting a little more confused.
