AN: What is this? Another chapter? Yes, indeed, it is I, and I am updating much sooner this time. I will be working on chapters nightly, but that doesn't mean they will release nightly. From here on out, each chapter will be much, much longer, so I might release a chapter a week, or a chapter a month, who knows? I won't have a release schedule for the very reason of being able to make a better story and more detailed chapters. And with that note, I will also begin putting ANs at only the ends of the stories, and will be answering reviews from here on out right after the ANs, so review away!
XXX - Chapter 4 - Genin Exams
"I HAVE WHAT SEALED INSIDE ME?!" Exploded Naruto, as he was barely able to comprehend the power of the Nine Tails at the times, and he knew it. For that matter, Sarutobi knew he knew it, and that is part of why he had silencing seals in the Hokage's office. Else, everyone in the village who didn't yet know he was the Kyuubi no Kitsune container and warden, would now know.
"The Kyuubi no Kitsune. The fourth Hokage sealed the chakra construct into you, specifically into a complex seal called the Shiki Fuijin Hakke no Fūin Shiki(Reaper Death Eight-Trigrams Seal). If anyone, besides me or Jiraiya, the toad Sannin, messes with it, you need to notify me immediately Naruto, as it could end in your death." Hiruzen told him seriously, rubbing Naruto's shoulder slow as he sat next to him on a couch, one that Saru kept in a sealing scroll at all times for moments when the Hokage must be gentle.
Naruto nodded slowly in response, before rubbing his stomach slow, absentmindedly running chakra through his system, causing the Shiki Fuijin(Reaper Death Seal) to appear. Naruto gasps in surprise, before pulling up his shirt, due to his stomach tingling, before suddenly, it begins to burn, a lot, as 3 consecutively larger circles appear around his seal, getting so big as to even wrap slightly around to his back on either side, each with 3 tomoe on them.
Hiruzen, immediately seeing this as he watched Naruto pull his shirt up, started to panic a little, as this clearly WAS NOT supposed to happen, as Naruto started to scream in pain. Suddenly, the rings gained more and more tomoe, before they all broke at the top of their arches, bending down and around to form a spiral of tomoe. At the very inner tip of the spiral, it contacts the top of the Shiki Fuijin, while the outer tip curls upwards and goes straight up, pointing up the center of his diaphragm. As soon as it finishes, Naruto panted heavily, but is also unconscious. Hiruzen, having already summoned his ANBU, quickly evacuated Naruto to the Konoha Shinobi Hospital.
XXX - Unknown Location
Naruto awakened with a gasp, sitting up immediately and coughing roughly, before looking around in the darkness. "H-Hello?" He shakily asked out, before pulsing his chakra in fear. Immediately, a blue light shot down from one end of the damp hallway he was in, past him, and down into the darkness before turning a corner, it having lit up the room for a short time. Curiously, Naruto started to run his chakra through all his tenketsu slowly, before the blue tube the light went down GLARED its blue hue throughout the apparent sewer labyrinth he was in. Suddenly, two pulses of red shot down another tube, this one being black when unlit, coming from the same direction the blue originated from, so Naruto started to follow where it came from. On occasion, he would miss a hall turn, and would have to backtrack when he saw the next pulses, before finally he stood at a large gate, with empty black behind it.
After discovering the gate, with a large paper on it saying "Fuin(Seal)", he used the brain he actually had the chance to develop in this timeline, and started to shake. "Th-That's the cage for the-" Naruto blurted out, before he saw the tube for the red suddenly blast its ominously dark color throughout the sewers behind him, causing him to clam up, before two red eyes opened before him.
"Ah, so I meet my Warden at last I see. Took you long enough! 12 years of silence and boredom, and now I see I am finally graced with your presence." The Kyuubi snarkily remarked, before noticing something was off. "Wait... I... I am FREE?!" The Kyuubi roared quite loudly, happily chuckling, before shredding the gate in front of him, his claw stabbing the ground inches from Naruto, making Naruto believe death was near. "Oh? This is an interesting development then." The Kyuubi drawled out, while looking at Naruto.
"What is an i-interesting development? W-Weren't you about to k-kill me?" Naruto mewled out, before noticing everything looked... Sharper. More... Detailed? He could see the little cracks of wear and tear on the Kyuubi's unshed ethereal claws, before the giant fox ripped his claws back, finally renewing their luster.
"I was, but now I am too curious. Your eyes, while they clearly imitate those snarky tomoe fucks, are still unique. I would rather find out more about you, maybe I could shape you to be my tool in disguise!" The Kyuubi evilly drawled, a large wicked grin splitting its muzzle, as Naruto sputtered in confusion.
"E-Eyes? Imitate? But, my eyes are just a light blue, what do you mean-?" Naruto went on and on about, before the kitsune before him raised a shiny chakra surface in front of Naruto, acting as a pure silver mirror. Naruto gasped loud when he saw his eyes, as they definitely were not what he remembered having through his 12 years of life.
"THAT, is what I mean, my 'Warden'. Those dōjutsu(Eyes with Techniques) of yours are quite unlike what I have seen before." The Kyuubi snarked out, before shuffling off deeper into the chasm it lived in, before the gate suddenly slammed back into existence, causing the Kyuubi to roar in pain and agony, before snapping around and slamming its claws into the gate. It just so happened that the tip of his claw just ever-so-slightly brushed one of Naruto's bangs when it stopped, unable to reach the boy, painfully reminding the Kyuubi of the night it was sealed all those years ago. "BEGONE, BOY. DO NOT RETURN UNLESS YOU WISH FOR ME TO DESTROY ALL YOU LOVE!"
In the face of the Kyuubi almost killing him, twice, and roaring that it wanted him gone and would destroy what he loved, Naruto did the only thing he could do at the time. He fainted.
XXX - Konoha Shinobi Hospital
Hiruzen paced rapidly back and forth, before suddenly Jiraiya left the room with Naruto in it. "Any news on him, Jiraiya?" He immediately questions, to which he got Jiraiya's usual charismatic smile.
"The seal is fine! I had to loosen it to allow the new seal to integrate correctly, but then I retightened it. It should be solid, and the new seal should cause no problems!" Jiraiya boasted to his mentor and boss, before getting literally straight up slapped by the old man.
"What is the purpose of the new seal, Jiraiya?!" Hiruzen sputtered out, after having slapped to Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku, clearly flipping out at the risks to Naruto and the village that this new seal presented, before Jiraiya flashed another charismatic, disarming smile to his mentor, completely ignoring the throbbing red mark on his face.
"That is the best part, Hiruzen-Sensei! Its a seal created by Naruto's bloodline, to help him contain the Kyuubi. It apparently manifested because while under stress, Naruto finished the training for the Kongō Fūsa(Adamantine Sealing Chains), and the modified Shiki Fuijin(Reaper Death Seal) reacted to it, along with his blood, to create such a seal. With minimal practice, he should now be able to control the Bijuu chakra without issue, but we shouldn't start that practice until he is ready for the Chuunin Exams, agreed?" Jiraiya explained and asked, before getting a solid nod from the old Saru. Without warning, they both heard a loud "WHAM" from inside Naruto's room, so they both rushed in, and smiled at seeing Naruto woke up, and just accidentally hit his currently empty food tray, before paling at his eyes.
"W-Woah... That... That was the Kyuubi..." Naruto drawled on, not quite focusing on his vision or surroundings, more just slightly shaking in adrenaline from supposedly nearly dying twice, before he looked up at Hiruzen and Jiraiya. "Oil...? I don't remember an Village Hidden in the Oil..." Naruto slowly said, still lightheaded.
"Naruto..." Hiruzen sighed out sadly, fearing for the future of the warden of the Kyuubi, without showing any of it to said boy. Jiraiya however, picked up on his mentor's small tells, before smiling scarily brightly at Naruto.
"That is because there isn't one! I am Jiraiya, the Great Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku, Oil Sannin of the leaf!" He flaunted to Naruto, smiling in a charmingly wicked kind of way. "Surely you have heard of me, my great exploits, or maybe even my series of books, Icha I-" Jiraiya went on and on about, before a female nurse gut punched him, and seeing as she knew basic Iryō-ninjutsu(Medical Ninja Techniques), it allowed her to floor the supposedly great Sannin with little issue.
"Oh, so your the only one besides Jiji-san that is allowed to touch my seal?" Naruto asked, trying to not to burst out in giggles at seeing such a man beaten with a single punch from the same lady who just brought him his lunch. "Well, why am I here? What happe-" Naruto asked, before the memories of pain just before entering the seal flooded back through him, causing him to shiver. "Why did my stomach burn... I-... It hurt so much... Why did it hurt so much..." Naruto whispered to himself, before his Jiji-san, his gramps, embraced him again.
"Its okay Naruto, its over, and it won't happen again. But, alas, remember how I said the Jinchuuriki part was the last thing I was going to tell you? Apparently, I was wrong. Naruto, how much do you know about Dōjutsu(Eyes with Techniques) from the Academy?" the Hokage gently crooned to Naruto, before asking him while being as gentle as possible.
"Well... I know Sasuke-nii and Itachi-nii have the Sharingan(Copy Wheel Eye), right? Those are dōjutsu... And Hinata has a dōjutsu too, right? Its the Bakugan... Beakugan... Byakugan(White Eye), there we go. I still struggle with its name" Naruto said, taking on what would be a cute, scrunched up, face, if it wasn't for the two brand newly sharp eyes within his sockets. "Why do you ask, Jiji?"
"Well, this is why." Hiruzen stated, as he held up a mirror to Naruto's face, revealing his new eyes. They resembled the stage 1 Sharingan(Copy Wheel Eye), in that they had a circle with a single tomoe on either eye, but that was where the resemblance ended. The red background of the Sharingan was missing, instead replaced with a softly glowing blue, not unlike the unknown at the time Tenseigan(Reincarnation Eye), while the tomoe was jagged, and blood red. The pupil of his eye was gone, replaced with hundreds of consecutively smaller circles in the center, but they didn't seem to change much besides being a colored pupil. "Because we now need to name a new one, and its yours to do so with."
XXX - Konoha Academy
All of the students of the Academy assembled in the classroom, with Naruto actively dawning his mask and hood, with his regular blue eyes having returned, as they found out that he could activate and deactivate the eyes similarly to the Sharingan. He shook a little, waiting for them to announce who he would be teamed with and under who, especially since his new eyes threw off their plans to put him with Asuma. So far, besides the Hokage, Jiraiya, and nurses, only the Jounin-Sensei, Itachi, and Sasuke knew of his new eyes, with Sasuke just smirking and nodding in acknowledgement of his newfound dōjutsu, which for now Naruto is just calling the Uzuijuufuuingan(Vortex Tailed Beast Seal Eye), not that he will be telling the name of it for quite some time, as Hiruzen speculated it was Naruto's blood mixed with the Shiki Fuijin Hakke no Fūin Shiki(Reaper Death Eight-Trigrams Seal), and the power of the Kyuubi being harnessed by such.
Iruka finally enters the classroom, slamming a stack of papers onto the table. "Alright, listen up everybody! You all did well on the exams, with quite the list of scores! Sasuke, you passed as best Shinobi in the exam. Hinata, you passed as best Kunoichi in class. Unfortunately this year, none of this matters. We have to form teams rather strangely this time, and as such, we can't put two bests with the last, despite that being the original plan. So, here is the new list of teams." Iruka announced, before listing off teams 1-3 as still being taken, and 4-6 as the random characters in the crow, each group having their sensei step up to take them off to talk.
"Team 7 will consist of Naruto Uzumaki," Upon hearing his name, Naruto's attention immediately snapped forth to. "Sasuke Uchiha," Sasuke just smiled a little, before glancing at Naruto in an adopted sibling rivalry. "And Shikamaru Nara. Your Jounin-sensei asked to remain anonymous until his arrival." Immediately, the three joined at the front of the classroom, after which the window opened slightly, and a certain someone poked there head in. Meanwhile, both Sakura and Ino were loudly complaining, or more like shrieking, to Iruka about being split apart from their 'handsome prodigy'.
"Team 7, follow me! But first, lets here the rest of the team split." Itachi announced to the three, seeing all of them as prodigies in different ways, but still wanting them to be close to their fellow genin.
"Team 8 is Hinata Hyuuga, Shino Abarume, and Sakura Haruno. Your Jounin-sensei will be Kurenai Yūhi-Sensei. Team 9 will be Kiba Inuzuka, Ino Yamanaka, and Choji Akamichi. Your Jounin-sensei will be Asuma Sarutobi-Sensei." Iruka drew on, finishing the list of all the teams. Finally, he left the Academy, and headed straight for his bed, especially after the last 48 hours he has had.
Itachi smiled a small smile to his three newly minted genin, before nodding in a seemingly random direction. "Come this way, my three little leaflets." Itachi teased out, before vanishing off in the direction he nodded, causing Naruto, Sasuke, and Shika to have to start running after.
"Troublesome..." Was all the Nara could say, to which Naruto and Sasuke both begrudgingly agreed.
XXX - Third Training Ground
Itachi was sitting, with his legs crossed, on top of the memorial stone. Etched in the stone was a single name that he would never get over. Obito Uchiha. No, he had never met the kin of his who died alongside Kakashi, his first ANBU captain. But he did see his eye, stuck in the skull of another, who even managed to bring it to the next stage. Sharingan no Kakashi(Kakashi of the Copy Wheel Eye) was his mentor in the ANBU, and would continue to be so now.
Finally, Naruto and Sasuke arrive, which Itachi looking up from his meditative state, clearly saw. Where Shika was, however, was a mystery. "Where is Nara Shikamaru? I saw him run after me with both of you" Itachi questioned and stated, using his sharingan to try and see if he could spot Shika.
"He..." panted Sasuke, not quite having the same endurance as Naruto "He fell over back at the edge... Of the training ground... Cause we all ran..." He managed to get out between his panting, pointing back, to where Itachi could make out a chakra signature, and he could even see a single arm raised, as if Shika was just signaling where he was laying. Despite Sasuke's panting, while being bent forwards and hands on his knees, Naruto demonstrated that his contained beast and Uzumaki blood kept his stamina levels rather high.
Itachi, not being the one to do theatrics that much, instead being the one to tease and pick, made a Kage Bunshin(Shadow Clone) to go stare at and tease the Nara until he got over here, while he landed in front of his two new students who managed to arrive. "So, first things first, introductions. Once Shika gets here, that is." Itachi slightly smirked out, finding it amusing that Shika couldn't keep up yet, knowing that he would force the Nara to do 'troublesome' stamina training later.
After about 15 minutes, Shika comes dragging himself in, with Kage Bunshin Itachi right next to him smirking, occasionally making the soft jab about future stamina training, each time getting a muttered "Troublesome Sensei" out of the pineapple head.
"Alright you three, time to do introductions. You will list your name, things you like, things you hate, and your dream, along with one fact about yourself. I will go first. My name is Itachi Uchiha, I don't like much, I don't hate much, I won't be sharing my dream, and I am Sasuke's older brother. You next" Itachi said, getting sweat drops from all three, before he pointed at Shikamaru.
"I am Nara Shikamaru, you can all call me Shika though as the long name is troublesome. I like things that aren't troublesome, like cloud watching and sleeping. I dislike things that are troublesome, like stamina training and how my mom makes me do things at times. I don't really have a dream right now, and I can use my clan jutsu rather proficiently at this time." Shika droned out, trying to get this troublesome act over already so he can get back to cloud gazing like he was doing in the classroom, while Itachi pointed at Sasuke next.
"I am Uchiha Sasuke, and I like training with Itachi, and I dislike loud noises, like the fangirls of the graduating class. I dream of surpassing you, brother, and becoming the strongest Uchiha around today, so I can make you proud of me. I have already mastered a handful of Katon Jutsu(Fire Release Techniques)." Sasuke slightly boasted out, smirking up at his older brother, with a stare to show confidence. Itachi just smirked, before using Shunshin(Body Flicker) to get up close to Sasuke and giving him a light forehead tap.
"Probably should focus on the here and now first, Sasuke" Itachi teased out, before returning to his spot, while the flustered and slightly annoyed Sasuke rubbed his forehead and crossed his arms a little. "Lastly, your turn Naruto."
"My name is Uzumaki Naruto, and I am gonna be the HOKAG-... Wait, sorry. I like ramen, playing Ninja, and Sakura. I dislike the boring droning on in class, and how the village treats someone for what they have been forced to do. I dream of being the strongest Hokage, and gaining the respect from the village! Oh, and I unlocked these cool new eyes!" Naruto said, before activating his dōjutsu, intending on showing them to Shika since Sasuke and Itachi already knew, before smilingly widely, and showing off a pose. "Dattebayo!"
"Alright thats everyone, so now, we begin the Genin Exams!" Itachi loudly announced, pleased at the confused shouts of his new squad. While he knew he was being forced to pass them no matter what, he still figured that this was gonna be a fun bell test, as he explaining the rules of the Genin Exams. "The Academy was making sure you have the training to be a Genin. This makes sure you have the ability! If you fail, you return to the academy for another year, and will have to undergo special classes to make sure you don't next time, and you will be put in the Konoha Reserve Corp, or if your lucky, ROOT to be trained individually during that time!"
XXX - Hokage's Office
"Yes Jiraiya, I understand the severity of what it means if his eye is what you think it is! Being the target of every other village is quite the obviously severe thing! So could you please stop pestering me about it being severe! I am still your sensei, and still have more experience with diplomacy than you!" Hiruzen finally snapped out, while rubbing his temples slow.
"Sorry, its just that I can't stand it! I don't want to see my godson hunted by the rest of the shinobi world, its the very reason he doesn't know who his father is, if his eyes do contain THOSE EYES then-" Jiraiya panicked out, as the only thing that could still get to the experienced sage was anything to do with his deceased student's life, including his student's son.
"THEN WHAT JIRAIYA?" Hiruzen snapped out, getting tired enough of this between the evil villain that was the Hokage Paperwork and the pestering ball of spiky haired panic that is Konoha's Spy Division leader. "Look, if his eyes DO contain the powers of the Rinnegan(Saṃsāra Eye), then you will train him alongside Itachi, as an order from me! You will accompany him on missions and the like, if your that worried! But you can't do that, can you? Because you still have to worry about your spy network!" Hiruzen growled out, flaring his chakra in a way that he hadn't done in ages, before sitting back, more relaxed than he had been in weeks at finally letting out the stress.
Jiraiya just sighed. "That is the thing Sensei, Danzo already asked me to integrate ROOT into my spy network. If I say yes, I will also be asking him to help me manage it, so as to allow me to train my student's son. He is my godson after all, and he hasn't had family since the night he was born."
Sarutobi Hiruzen, the God of Shinobi, the Professor, and the Third Hokage who has served for the village twice now, and is still serving his second time, had never been so shocked in his life. His student, the Great Toad Sage of Mount Myōboku, arguably the strongest of the Sannin, the most perverted book writer, and the biggest spy in Shinobi history, just told him that he was going to be letting someone else command his spy network. "Are-... Are you being serious Jiraiya? You do know that training Naruto will be difficult, right?"
Jiraiya just nodded, smiling at his sensei and mentor. "I am certain. I have to pass on my spy network to allow me to continue on with the path that will allow Naruto to grow."
XXX - Third Training Ground
Itachi didn't really know WHAT happened. At first, he was fighting Naruto, who was getting really good, really fast, with his Kongō Fūsa(Adamantine Sealing Chains), which while they were still only in Stage 1 Kongō Fūsa(Adamantine Attacking Chains), were definitely detrimental to his kunai to block, and he didn't want to see what would happen to his custom ANBU katana if he used it, so he dodged. Suddenly though, his surroundings vanished, and he was now in what appeared to be a sewer. All of a sudden, his reality distorted again and he was back in the training ground, with a confused and scared Naruto, who's Uzuijuufuuingan(Vortex Tailed Beast Seal Eye) were flaring, and a very confused Sasuke. Shikamaru on the other hand, was just looking curious, if not slightly angry, as he couldn't figure out what just happened.
"Where did you go, Itachi-nii-san?" Sasuke said, worried, dropping the sensei honorific for right now, as everyone saw Itachi literally collapse in on himself and disappear, before reappearing after a distortion, interestingly similar to Kamui, while Naruto still was as pale as a ghost.
"I am not quite sure, Sasuke, but Naruto looks like he either knows or something happened besides what happened to me. What happened, Naruto?" Itachi asked, looking at the blonde in concern, as he looked into the strange dōjutsu, which almost resembled the opposite of the Sharingan(Copy Wheel Eye).
"I... I pulled you... Into the seal... And pulled you out of the seal... I... I don't know how I..." Naruto said carefully, unable to tell the two younger squad mates of his that he contained the beast of Konoha, the Kyuubi no Kitsune.
"I know how you did it, Naruto." Naruto heard out of thin air, causing him to suddenly look around in fear at the familiarity of the voice. "You did it with those special little eyes of yours, Warden" The Kyuubi roared in his mind, before Naruto could feel the seal straining. "You could release me you know, with those eyes it wouldn't even kill you now, and I could be FREE! For that matter, you better release me, and if you do I will contemplate not levelling the village you care for so much!"
Naruto just looked at Itachi, fear evident in his eyes. "W-We need to t-talk to the H-Hokage, I-Itachi-sen-sensei" He managed to shake out, his body practically vibrating in fear. He, and he alone, could feel the oppressing Killing Intent of the Kyuubi, forcing itself onto his mind, before he passed out, and instantly the Kyuubi silenced its Killing Intent and roars.

AN: Yes, a lot happened. Yes, it kinda feels a little smushed together. No, not all chapters will be this smothered together, trust me, I will be adding a lot of filler in the future, but currently it wouldn't work. I disliked how much filler was in the anime at the beginning, it too far too long to get the ball actually rolling into some interesting content.
If anyone feels like the chapter is still to smothered regardless, feel free to PM me, I would love a co-writer for the story, as while I may be ambitious with it, I do need someone to hold me back a little. No, Naruto will not be godly strong immediately, he is still gonna be getting the floor wiped with him by regular chuunin. There was no reason for some freshly minted genin to be able to defeat the Demon Brothers the way that they did, considering how the Chuunin exams goes. I won't be like the anime in that they will not "overcome" stupidly powerful shinobi so early on. Naruto is not a male Mary Sue, he is still just an inexperienced genin.
It also only implied Naruto had Itachi kinda "on the ropes" in the spar because Itachi was holding back to roughly early Chuunin/late genin speeds and power, along with using the same level of jutsu. Itachi could easily mop the floor with Naruto, even with his sharingan/byakugan/rinnegan eyes. Naruto also clearly hasn't figured out what all his eyes can do, as he is brand new to these, and nobody else has ever even had them. They will not have all of the powers of the Rinnegan either, before anyone wants to rail me for letting him have the Rinnegan. He doesn't even have the predicition abilities of the sharingan yet, which is supposed to be useable at level 1. Also, the name of the eyes are still undecided, and can be subject to change. I might even accept possible names from reviews, we will have to see. But yeah, part of the idea of the name of the eyes is that CHILD NARUTO NAMED THEM. And as we all know, child Naruto was a bit of an egotist, and well, immature, so of course he made his eyes sound badass, even if only to himself.
Sorry about this being a long ending AN, but they shouldn't be so long winded from here on out.
