~~~Chapter Forty-Two~~~
~~~Previous~~~
Usagi lets out a gasp as Wiseman send a ball of energy towards her. Usagi's eyes widen and she takes a step back.
A skull flashes beneath Wiseman's cape as he laughs.
Usagi looks down with wide eyes. "Demande!"
Prince Demande has moved in front of her and got the brink of the attack instead. Prince Demande slowly stands up, blood seeping through.
"So, you still have the energy to stand up. You will die, together with Sailor Moon!" Wiseman releases energy from his crystal ball.
Prince Demande looks at him. "Do not underestimate me!" Prince Demande releases a ball of energy once more.
The attacks meet in the middle and Prince Demande's attack pushes Wiseman's attack back. It is sent back to him and it causes him to let out a yell as his hands shatter into pieces. His yell abruptly ends and his empty cape falls to the floor. His crystal ball hovers and floats to the ground and the purple energy from inside it disappears.
Prince Demande legs shake as the blood seeps through even more. He falls to his knees and begins to fall onto his side. Usagi rushes over to him and catches him before he did. "Demande, hang in there!"
"Sailor Moon, it seems that I was mistaken. My wish was to allow my clan to emigrate to the Earth. And to accomplish that, I was willing to risk my life. But somewhere along the way, I fell for Wiseman's deception, and I ended up allowing many to be sacrificed. I had forgotten my heart as a human."
The crystal ball behind them glows with purple energy without the pair of them noticing.
"But you saved me." Usagi points out.
An image of a skull appears in the crystal ball and it begins to float up in the air.
"If you've realized your mistake, from now on you can correct your ways," Usagi adds.
A smile appears on Prince Demande's face. "That's true, but I am no longer… "
"Demande!" Usagi calls out.
The shattered body parts of Wiseman slowly make their way towards the cape.
"Just as the Four Ayakashi Sisters are living happily now…Just as how you tried to save Saphir…We may be able to live together with the people of the Earth if we allow our hearts to communicate with others." Prince Demande comments.
Wiseman's cape slowly begins to hover along with his crystal ball.
Tears fill Usagi's eyes. "And to do that, we need your help."
Prince Demande reaches up to Usagi's face. "Are you crying for me?" He wipes away the tears from one of her eyes but they just flood back. "You are the ones who will build the future. Please take care of the Black Moon Clan of the Dark Moon on Nemesis."
Usagi nods her head. "Okay."
His eyes widen slightly when he senses energy invade his head and the words he is given by Selena. 'Saphir isn't dead. He is in a healing sphere. You will join him there.' He slowly closes his eyes. "Thank goodness." He opens his eyes and looks up at Usagi. "Sailor Moon, I love you." He closes his eyes and his head drops to the side.
"Demande?! Prince Demande?!" Usagi cries out.
Wiseman is now fully formed and appears behind Usagi. Usagi senses a presence and turns to look but Wiseman had already grabbed hold of her throat and he holds her up in the air. "Hand over one of the legendary Silver Crystal's that holds the power to change the world!"
"Wiseman, why?!" Usagi questions weakly.
"I am eternally immortal." He replies.
"Even if I die…The answer is no!" Usagi states without hesitation.
"Hand over one of the Silver Crystal's!" He orders.
"Nee-chan…" Usagi mutters.
A barrier flickers in view around Usagi and sends Wiseman flying backwards. He gets back up and like Prince Demande before, he sees the image of Sailor Celestia and Eternal Queen Serenity appear behind Usagi, a cold glare on their faces.
"Die!" Wiseman releases energy towards Sailor Moon.
"Moon Slash!" A female voice calls out.
Usagi looks to see Selena standing there with Mamoru next to her.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
"Wiseman, get away from my imotou!" I order with a glare on my face.
"Nee-chan! Tuxedo Mask-sama!" Usagi calls out happily.
"We're here, too!" The girls call out.
"Sailor Mars!" Rei calls out.
"Sailor Jupiter!" Mako-chan calls out.
"Sailor Mercury!" Ami-chan calls out.
"Sailor Venus!" Minako-chan calls out.
"We have arrived!" The four of them call out.
Wiseman lets out a chuckle. "Perfect timing. Black Lady's power has now reached its full potential. Now, the Dark Gate, which will turn this world to ashes, will be opened!"
"The Dark Gate?!" Usagi repeats.
"It shall all be transformed into pitch-black darkness!" Wiseman lets out a laugh as he disappears from view.
Mamo-chan breaks the silence. "I have found the centre of the Dark Gate. Let's hurry!"
"Yes!" Usagi and I agree before we rush after him with the girls.
I look back briefly and my eyes flash and the energy surrounds Demande's body and it disappears and appears next to Saphir's, inside a healing sphere.
We rush outside where the energy is the thickest. "This is the centre of the Dark Gate."
Black Lady appears from inside it. "Sailor senshi!"
"Chibi-Usa!" Usagi and I call out.
"Chibi-Usa-chan!" The girls call out.
"I am Black Lady, messenger of Death Phantom, the ruler of the dark world. Soon, the world will fall and everything will turn into the darkness of hatred!" She smirks before she laughs loudly.

~~~Present~~~
~~~3rd POV~~~
Chibi-Usa has her knees pulled to her chest, arms folded across them and head lowers.
"The time to destroy the Earth has arrived," Wiseman comments before laughing loudly.
Energy surrounds the reactor. "My name is Death Phantom." A large skull with red glowing eyes appears behind it. "Finally, the time has come to turn the entire world to darkness." He laughs loudly again as a large column of energy surrounds it. The column goes through the gate and hits the top of the Black Crystal on Earth.
Luna, Crescent, Artemis and Yue watch from a safe distance.
"The Evil Black Crystal's power is growing stronger and stronger," Artemis observes.
"Are they still unable to rescue Chibi-Usa-chan?" Luna queries.
"If things keep progressing and the Dark Gate is opened, and they fire the Evil Black Crystal's power from the planet Nemesis…" Yue starts.
"…the Earth will be destroyed!" Crescent finishes.
"Everyone, hang in there!" Luna and Crescent encourage.
Yue and Artemis look away from them and looks back at the Black Crystal.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
We all gaze up at Black Lady. A purple aura surrounds her as she lifts her hands above her head. "The power of the Evil Black Crystal!"
"Chibi-Usa!" Usagi calls out.
We look as the energy enters the tips of the columns on each side. The tips glow. Black Lady lowers her arms. "Soon, the Dark Gate will open. Wiseman, send the power of the Evil Black Crystal." She opens her eyes. "I will take in that power and smash this world to pieces!"
"Chibi-Usa-chan is going to…" Rei starts.
"Take in the power of the Evil Black Crystal?!" Ami-chan finishes.
"Chibi-Usa, if you do that, you'll die, too!" Usagi warns.
"I do not fear death, for darkness is all there is to this world. There is no one in this world who loves me, so it can be blown to bits for all I care!" Black Lady comments.
"You're not alone!" Usagi denies.
"Chibi-Usa!" I call out softly.
Black Lady floats down and lands on the ground. "What are you talking about? What could you possibly know?!"
"Chibi-Usa, please understand! We're…" Usagi starts but Black Lady cuts her off.
"That's enough! Shut up!" She shouts and she places her clenched fists on either side of her head. Energy blasts from her. The girls are sent back and land on the floor. I try to grab hold of Usagi while Mamo-chan grabs hold of me. I miss Usagi and she lands on the floor.
Black Lady appears in front of Usagi. "First, I'll take care of you, the noisy one!"
"Chibi-Usa-chan!" Rei calls out.
"Don't do it!" Ami-chan pleads.
Black Lady narrows her eyes and lets out a laugh.
"Chibi-Usa-chan!" Mako-chan calls out.
"Please stop!" Minako-chan begs.
Black Lady lifts her hand. "Die!" A bolt of energy is set towards Usagi.
Usagi lets out a gasp and Black Lady's eyes widen. I had rushed forward along with Mamo-chan and we got hit with the attack instead. Mamo-chan lets out a yell of pain as I clench my teeth. Black Lady removes her attack and Mamo-chan begins to fall forward. I move my body and catch him before he does, even as my body twitches slightly due to the pain.
"Nee-chan! Mamoru-san! Nee-chan! Hang in there!" Usagi cries.
Black Lady steps away. "Absurd…Sacrificing yourself for another?"
"You're wrong!" Rei denies.
"What?" She questions.
"It's for someone precious!" Rei replies.
"That's right, a precious friend." Ami-chan agrees.
"What nonsense is this?!" Black Lady demands.
"You are one, too!" Minako-chan adds. "You're also our precious friend!"
"We'll protect you at the risk of our own lives, too," Mako-chan comments without hesitation.
"Precious friend?" Black Lady repeats.
"That's right." Usagi agrees, getting Black Lady's attention. "You, as an individual, are a precious friend we can't afford to lose."
"And you are loved more than anyone," I add softly.
"Chibi-Usa-chan!" Rei, Ami-chan, Minako-chan and Mako-chan call out one after the other.
"Chibi-Usa!" Usagi and I call out.
Black Lady's body begins to shake as she clenches her eyes shut with her hand clutching her hair on either side of her head.
"Black Lady, do not lend your ears to this drivel. Truth is within the darkness of all things. Black Lady, accept this. I shall send the power of the Evil Black Crystal to you anew."
A column of Dark Energy comes from the sky and lands behind Black Lady. She closes her eyes. "Yes." She opens her eyes. "I won't be fooled."
"Chibi-Usa, you must not be consumed by the evil energy!" Mamo-chan warns.
"Soon, this world will turn to darkness. I won't allow anyone to stand in my way!" She throws her arms open and releases dark energy causing all of us to close our eyes.
I slowly open my eyes and look at Usagi who opens her and then Mamo-chan who opens his. I hold onto their hands.
"I will fill the entire world with darkness!" Black Lady comments before she laughs.
"Just you watch, I will save Chibi-Usa," Usagi mutters.
"We will, together, as her family," I reply softly.
"Let's combine our powers," Mamo-chan adds.
"Mamo-chan," I mutter softly as I gaze up at him.
The three of us stand up, our hands joined. "Chibi-Usa, we'll save you now! We'll eradicate the evil energy that's possessed you!" Usagi comments determined."
Pink and silver energy comes from our Silver Crystal's.
"I will not lose to the Silver Crystal's punny powers!" Black Lady spreads her arms and releases more dark energy.
"Moon Crystal Power!" Usagi and I call out.
A barrier is formed around us and it pushes Black Lady's power back. "What?!"
~~~3rd POV~~~
It flicks to Crystal Palace, where the Queen's are resting. An aura surrounds their bodies before a bright light covers them from view.
Black Lady covers her face. When she lowers her arm and looks up, her eyes widen and she lets out a gasp. Where Usagi and Selena were are now Neo Queen Serenity and Eternal Queen Serenity.
Usagi's hairstyle remains the same. She is wearing a crown with a red gem and gold stud earrings. Her dress is similar to that what she wore as Princess Serenity however, the shoulder pieces are omitted and a large, wing-shaped bow replaces the smaller version she had as the Princess. Her crescent moon is visible on her forehead and her face is more mature.
Selena's hairstyle remains the same and her crescent moon with the beads on either side is the same, however, everything else she is wearing is completely different from what she wore as the Princess. She is wearing a silver forehead diadem with a silver lily attached to the side with beads and crystals, silver dangling earrings, crystal necklace and silver chain bracelets on both of her arms that have silver lilies and crescent moons.
Her dress is a long mermaid style and is a silk dress with silver lines with lace around and below the chest, a white silk shawl with the same lines that go over her arms, crystal high heels and she is holding a long silver staff with a silver lily, vines and a silver ball on the top.
Mamoru looks up and lets out a gasp.
"This is…" Ami trails off in surprise.
"Sailor Moon…Sailor Celestia…turned into Neo Queen Serenity and Eternal Queen Serenity." Venus exclaims surprised.
"What?" Black Lady says surprised.
Usagi and Selena open their eyes.
"Small Lady, you need to remember." Selena starts.
"Remember when you were young." Usagi finishes.
Their crescent moons flash causing Black Lady to let out a gasp as her eyes widen before she lets out a sound of pain and places her hands on either side of her head. Her crescent moon begins to glow. She gets drawn into the memory of when she fell and her parent wouldn't pick her up.
She is on the ground crying. "Don't cry!" Her mama scolds.
"I hate you, Mama." Chibi-Usa cries before turning to the papa and holding out her hands. "Papa, help me up."
"Get up on your own." Her papa orders.
"Do you know why we did not reach out to help you then?" Usagi comments as Chibi-Usa sees the memory of her Mama kneeling. "We wanted you to have the strength to stand up on your own. It was because that was the kind of person we wanted you to grow up to be."
"Papa and Mama…" Black Lady mutters.
Mamoru stands up and stands next to Selena.
"Poor little rabbit, starved for love." Wiseman appears. Black Lady looks up at him. "Do not be confused by her clever cover-up."
He sends a column of dark energy towards the four of them.
"Usagi-chan! Selena-chan!" Minako and Makoto call out.
"Mamoru-san!" Rei and Ami call out.
"You must not trust anyone. Ultimately, people are born alone and die alone. All there is to this world is darkness." Wiseman continues.
"Born alone and die alone…" Black Lady repeats. "Darkness…"
"You were always alone." He adds.
"Yes, I was always alone." Black Lady agrees.
"That's an illusion!" Usagi calls out.
"Small Lady!" Selena calls out.
"Don't be deceived!" Mamoru warns urgently.
"I was always all alone!" Black Lady's eyes flash red. "All alone!" She shouts as she sends dark energy towards them.
Mamoru grabs hold of Selena's shoulders while Usagi is between them as they let out yells of pain.
"All alone!" She continues to shout as she sends more energy towards them.
Usagi lifts her head. "Small Lady, we must get out of this place! This space is dangerous! Not only your mind, but your body will also be…"
"What about you three? You will die if you stay in here too long." Black Lady comments. "Hurry up and get out of here!"
"My life is of no consequence! As long as you are safe…" Usagi says without hesitation.
"Small Lady, all people experience hardships and sorrow. Sometimes, you may even wish you could vanish out of loneliness." Selena starts.
"Even so, people must endure that and live on. You should still remember the warmth people share with one another." Usagi finishes. Their silver crystal's glow. "Recall that."
Black Lady's eyes widen as she gets drawn into memories once more. An image of her and Ami eating ice cream. Her and Rei working out.
"Those happy memories of the time you spent with everybody can't have been just visions for you." Usagi points out.
Makoto giving her a home-made cooked bento. Minako and her playing nurse when the girls were sick. Mamoru giving her a piggyback. Selena teaching her to cook along with Selene and Teddy. Usagi trying to cook and Chibi-Usa teasing her. Selene and Teddy playing with her.
"Chibi-Usa!" Usagi and Selena call out, causing her to turn and look. "You're not alone." The pair say with a smile on their faces. Their faces change into Neo Queen Serenity and Eternal Queen Serenity.
Usagi and Selena hold Black Lady's hands. "It's so warm."
"What you are feeling now is the warmth people share with one another," Selena says softly.
"Why do you go to such lengths for me?" Black Lady questions.
"Because we love you, Chibi-Usa." Usagi and Selena say softly at the same time as Mamoru nods his head.
Black Lady closes her eyes. "I am loved by everyone." The black crescent moon disappears from her forehead and she moves into Usagi's arms.
The column of dark energy disappears to show Mamoru, Eternal Queen Serenity and Neo Queen Serenity unharmed and Chibi-Usa in Usagi's arms, back to normal. They float towards the ground as Usagi and Selena turn back into Sailor Moon and Sailor Celestia.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
"Chibi-Usa-chan!" Rei calls out.
"So, she's back to her old self," Ami-chan comments with a sigh of relief.
"All right!" Mako-chan cheers happily.
"Thank goodness," Minako-chan comments with her eyes closed.
We all kneel on the ground, Chibi-Usa still in Usagi's arms. "Chibi-Usa. Chibi-Usa. Wake up, Chibi-Usa."
She slowly stirs and opens her eyes. "Sailor Moon? Sailor Celestia?"
"Chibi-Usa…" We both trail off.
Chibi-Usa looks at the others. "You guys…Thank you. I finally understood that I'm not alone. That you're all here for me. And when I did, I felt really warm."
"Neu Queen Serenity cares about you more than anyone else." Usagi points out.
Chibi-Usa lowers her head. "I know."
"I'm so glad," I comment before my eyes slowly close and I fall to the side along with Usagi.
Mamo-chan catches me while Mako-chan catches Usagi. Chibi-Usa lets out a gasp.
"Sailor Moon! Sailor Celestia!" The girls call out.
"Are you all right?" Mamo-chan questions.
I open my eyes. "Yes…"
"Sailor Moon, Sailor Celestia, it's because you used the Silver Crystal's…" Chibi-Usa says hesitantly.
"I'm okay," Usagi replies.
Just then, the ground begins shaking. The energy begins to get even stronger.
"This is…" Mamo-chan trails off.
"Even after the loss of Black Lady's powers, the Dark Gate has already opened." Wiseman comments.
"What?!" Mamo-chan demands.
Wiseman is in front of us, floating in the air. "Soon, the enormous energy of the Evil Black Crystal will arrive. The time of this world's annihilation is at hand. In other words, the extinction of the Earth!"
"The extinction of the Earth?!" Rei repeats.
Wiseman laughs as he lifts his crystal ball in the air. Energy enters it. "You all will be obliterated along with this world." He sends the energy at us causing us to let out yells of pain.
~~~3rd POV~~~
Back on Earth, more energy surrounds the Black Crystal and it begins to cover the city.
"That's…" Luna trails off.
"The Dark Gate has opened!" Artemis exclaims.
"What about everyone?!" Crescent questions worriedly.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
"At this rate, the Earth will become a desolate ruin." Mamo-chan comments.
"We won't allow that to happen!" I state softly.
Usagi and I share a look before we release energy from our Silver Crystal's. A barrier surrounds us and stops the dark energy. The girls slump forward.
"We won't allow that to happen!" Usagi repeats.
"What?" Wiseman says.
Usagi and I stand up.
"We don't want to lose this beautiful planet and everyone on it." Usagi and I say at the same time as we walk forward.
"The thought that the Earth, so full of our memories, will no longer exist…" Usagi starts.
"The thought that everyone living here will die…" I add.
"We don't want any of that!" We shout at the same time.
Our Silver Crystal's begin to glow.
"You can't use the Silver Crystal's in your condition," I hear Ami-chan warn.
"Usagi! Selena!" I hear Rei call out.
"Please stop!" I hear Mamo-chan plead.
"Usagi-chan! Selena-chan!" I hear Mako-chan call out.
"Don't!" I hear Minako-chan shout.
"I will not lose to the insignificant power of the Silver Crystal's." Wiseman lifts his crystal ball. He sends a column of dark energy down on us.
~~~3rd POV~~~
The column of dark energy disappears to show that Usagi and Selena are back into their Queen forms. It is silent before the pair of them open their eyes. Usagi lifts her Silver Crystal while Selena lifts her staff which has her Silver Crystal on the top, in the shape of the lily. Their Silver Crystal's glow.
Wiseman lifts his crystal ball and energy gathers inside it before he sends it down at the pair of them. They let out a sound of pain before they narrow their eyes and place the Silver Crystal's in front of them, forming a light barrier.
"Now that the Dark Gate has been opened, the Silver Crystal's are powerless!" Wiseman taunts.
Usagi and Selena are pushed back slightly.
"Usagi-chan! Selena-chan!" Ami calls out.
"Usagi! Selena!" Rei calls out.
"Usagi-chan! Selena-chan!" Makoto calls out.
"Usagi-chan! Selena-chan!" Minako calls out.
"Tia! Usagi!" Mamoru calls out.
Chibi-Usa gazes at the pair of them before she closes her eyes. "It's my fault!" She throws herself at Mamoru's chest. "It's all my fault!"
"Chibi-Usa…" Mamoru trails off.
"All because of me, Usagi, Oba and everyone else will be…" A tear form in the corner of Chibi-Usa's eyes and rolls down her cheek. Her tear turns into a Silver Crystal. She gazes down at it with wide eyes. "This is…
Suddenly, Selene appears next to her, a Silver Crystal also in her hands.
The pair share a look. "Does that mean the Silver Crystal's went inside our bodies that time?" Chibi-Usa questions.
Selene nods her head. "It must have done."
They share a look and stand up. "Selene. Chibi-Usa." Mamoru calls out to them.
"Oji/ Papa, we'll protect everyone with these Silver Crystal's, we promise!" The pair say at the same time.
"Selene, Chibi-Usa, if you use those Silver Crystal's…" Mamoru trails off.
"But everyone risked their lives to protect me so…" Chibi-Usa points out.
"Chibi-Usa…" Mamoru mutters.
Chibi-Usa and Selene nod their heads.
Mamoru stands up. "You're right, we can never give up."
"That's right, we will not lose." Ami stands up.
"For the sake of this beautiful Earth…" Rei stands up.
"For the sake of everyone living there…" Makoto stands up.
"For the sake of everyone's future!" Minako stands up.
"You are wasting your time." Wiseman taunts as he releases more power. Usagi lets out a gasp as she clenches her eyes shut.
Chibi-Usa and Selene hold their Silver Crystal's above their head and they begin to glow, pink and silver. "Please, Silver Crystal's, lend us the power to protect everyone!" They shout as their outfits flicker to their princess forms, which look exactly like their mama's princess forms.
"What?! Four Silver Crystals?!" Wiseman exclaims surprised.
"Oh, Chibi-Usa…/Selene…" Usagi and Selena call out softly.
"The power to protect everyone!" Chibi-Usa and Selene shout as they hold their Silver Crystal's out in front of them.
"Mercury Star Power!" Ami calls out.
"Mars Star Power!" Rei calls out.
"Jupiter Star Power!" Makoto calls out.
Venus Star Power!" Minako calls out.
"Moon Crystal Power!" Usagi, Chibi-Usa, Selena and Selene calls out at the same time as they hover in the air. The energy is sent towards the four of them.
"I will not lose to the power of the Silver Crystal's!" Wiseman releases more energy.
A big ball of pink and silver energy surround the four of them. "Evil power!" Usagi and Selena start.
"Begone from this place!" Chibi-Usa and Selene finish.
The four of them let out a yell. The energy spreads and hits Wiseman. "I, Death Phantom, the ruler of darkness, will not be defeated…" He is cut off.
The energy surrounds the Evil Black Crystal and destroys it.
The four of them find themselves inside the same energy. "Are we dead now?" Usagi questions.
"But we were able to protect everyone, so it's okay right, Usagi, Chibi-Usa, Selene?" Selena comments with a soft chuckle.
"Yeah." The three of them agree.
"You four are not dead." The voice of Neo Queen Serenity states.
"What?" They question as they open their eyes.
"The power of your four Silver Crystal's and the wish to protect one another brought about a miracle." The voice of Eternal Queen Serenity comments softly.
"Mama…" Chibi-Usa and Selene mutter.
"Come, everyone is waiting." The pair of them offer. "Return to them."
Mamoru is holding Selena, Rei is holding Chibi-Usa, Minako is holding Selene and Makoto is holding Usagi.
"Tia! Tia!" Mamoru shouts. "Tia…"
Selena stirs and opens her eyes.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
I look up at Mamo-chan with a smile on my face. "Mamo-chan…"
A smile appears on his face. "Thank goodness."
"You guys…" Usagi comments as she looks at them.
They let out relieved sighs. Usagi and I let out a gasp and abruptly sit up. "Chibi-Usa! / Selene!"
We move over to their sides. The pair of them stir and slowly open their eyes. "Everyone…" They mutter.
"Thank goodness! Chibi-Usa!" Usagi cries as she hugs her.
"Selene!" I move forward and she throws herself at my chest. "Mama!"
~~~3rd POV~~~
Back on Earth, the Black Crystal slowly shrinks in size until it is gone and the sun begins to rise as it does.
"The Dark Power of the Evil Black Crystal has disappeared!" Artemis exclaims.
"The Earth and the planet Nemesis have both been saved!" Yue adds with a sigh.
Luna lets out a sigh. "Thank goodness!"
"What about everyone?" Crescent questions.
The four of them share a look before rushing over.
~~~Selena's POV~~~
We head back to Earth and stand at the pier in the park.
"Everyone, thank you." Chibi-Usa says.
"Chibi-Usa-chan, Selene-chan, I guess this is goodbye," Rei says softly.
"Tell my romantic fortune for me someday, okay?" Chibi-Usa and Selene say happily.
"Take care of yourself." Ami-chan states.
"Help us with our schoolwork again, okay?" The pair request.
"Say hello to the future sailor senshi for us," Mako-chan adds.
"Thanks for all the delicious lunches." The pair thanks with a smile on their faces.
"Don't wet your bed anymore, okay?" Minako-chan teases with a wink.
"I won't!" The pair deny with a pout on their faces. "Let's play together again, okay?"
Chibi-Usa and Selene look at Usagi and me and they fall silent.
"Come on, Tia, Usagi." Mamo-chan persuades.
"Yeah…" Usagi and I say before walking forward.
Selene and Chibi-Usa walk towards us and we meet in the middle. We gaze at each other but we stay silent.
"Usagi, Selena, this is goodbye now," Rei says softly.
"Tia, Usagi," Mamo-chan says softly.
Usagi and I kneel and Chibi-Usa throws herself into Usagi's arms and Selene throws herself into mine. We hug in silence before the pair of them move back slightly.
Chibi-Usa looks at Usagi with a blush on her cheeks. "Thank you, Mama." She turns and runs towards the pier.
"Chibi-Usa…" Usagi mutters.
Selene looks up at me. "Thank you, Mama." She rushes over to where Chibi-Usa is.
"Selene…" I mutter.
Chibi-Usa holds up her key. "Everyone, thank you so much." The pair says with smiles on their faces. The key glows and the pair of them disappear, back to the future.
"Goodbye, Chibi-Usa/ Selene." Usagi and I say softly at the same time.
Mamo-chan places his hand on my shoulder. "Tia."
I nod my head and rest it against his neck as we gaze up at the sky.
~~~3rd POV~~~
Chibi-Usa and Selene rush through the city, which is now restored with fields of colourful flowers and the building standing high as before.
They rush up the hill and come to a stop when they see their parents and the sailor senshi standing there along with Teddy in King Endymion's arms. They catch their breaths and walk over before coming to a stop in front of them. The pair curtsy to their parents with their heads lowered and eyes closed. They lift their heads with tears in their eyes.
"Mama!" The pair shout as they run forward.
Eternal Queen Serenity and Neo Queen Serenity fall to their knees and catch them in their arms. "Welcome home." The two Queens says softly.
"Mama…" The pair mutter, tears rolling down their cheeks.
The sun shines down on the city as they have their long-waited reunion.
