Chapter 6: Five fierce battles
Natsu vs Mad-mole:
"I'll burn you!" Natsu attacks, "Fire Dragon's: Iron Fist!" He punches up into the air.
"That did nothing." Mad-mole is unscathed.
"Then how about this!" Natsu jumps after him with a head-butt, "Fire Dragon's: Sword horn!" He lands again, which mad-mole blocks.
"Go for it, Natsu!" Happy cheers.
"Such heat!" Carla covers.
"No joke about, feels like I'll melt being close to that." Hiouis said, standing next to them.
"You...!" Happy exclaims, a step back.
"Hiouis, right? What are you doing over here?" Carla asks, a little uneased too.
"Relax, just because their fighting it out, doesn't mean us, exceeds, have too." Hiouis grins, rubbing his noses, "Besides, let's just sit back and watch."
"Uh... this is basically a fight over who gets to seal the dragon gods." Happy said.
"The sealing part only applies to us." Carla reminds, "And I don't know what made sueong and you guys what to do this."
"Like he said, I can't reveal it, seeing as it won't really change the situation we're in." Hiouis shrugs, which Carla and happy don't get.
Above the sea and out the temple, "It won't work." Mad-mole reveals after blocking the sword horn attack.
"Tch." Natsu lights up, "Fire Dragon King's: Perishing fist!" The attack explodes right on mad-mole, but suddenly, "Gwah!" Natsu's fist bleeds upon impact, back him pull it back, "Why isn't anything working?!"
"The scales of the armor dragon will never know what pain is." Mad-mole said calmly and unscathed before grabbing Natsu by the arm, "You see that?" He eyes rehearsal diabolos boat.
"A ship!" Natsu exclaims, not liking where this is going before being thrown onto it, crashing on it.
"Nice. Shot." Mad-mole praises himself before landing on the ground and toward the ship.
Natsu recovers from the wreckage and utters, "What strength." As he gets up, "Ugh..." He suddenly gets motion sickness, "Damn it... this ship is moving... Ugh..."
"It's over for you." Mad-mole stands in the edge over him.
"How come... you don't have motion sickness... you're a dragon slayer too..." Natsu utters.
"The first generation really has had it rough, haven't they?" Mad-mole asks, in calm manner.
"Grrr...uhh..." Natsu struggles.
Degro vs Wendy and Lucy:
Chains are attacking the girls at every angle as they dodge, and have close calls.
"Chains...!" Lucy utters, catching her breath, "That means, you're..."
"Correct." Degro then reveals, grinning menacingly, "I am the Chain dragon, Degro."
"Blade, Armor, Ash... and now Chains?!" Wendy exclaims.
"My chains are the strongest in the world. Normal chains are very weak compared to the ones I possess." Degro smirks, with spinning chains around him, "They even pack a punch and as hard as steel, See?!" He attacks with 2 chains again.
The girls dodge them again, but upon being distracted by them, Degro appears at Lucy, "Chain Dragon's: Railing Kick!" He coats his right feet with spinning chains and kicks her hard.
"KYA!" Lucy's sent flying and sliding in the ground.
"Lucy-san!" Wendy exclaims.
"You're next, kid." Degro appears at wendy too, "Railing Fist!" He punches her in the stomach.
"GAH!" Wendy's sent back as well.
"Heheh, like I said, as hard as steel." Degro grins, chuckling.
Sueong vs Skullion:
The two fight in a water barrier out of the temple.
"Ice Make: Cubes!" Sueong fires multiple large ones rapidly.
Skullion waves and turns them to ashes, "Useless."
"Heh." Sueong reveals to be a diversion and adds,"Ice Dragon's: Glacial Strike!" Ice pillars slam Skullion from underneath.
"Kuh!" Skullion scoffs after the impact.
Sueong jumps at him and delivers, "Ice Dragon's: Diamond Fist!"
Skullion is forced to block the impact and slides back, "Hmph, not bad." He gets the ice shards off him via ash.
"I noticed that if an attack is fast or if they're diversions then your reaction is off-mark." Sueong reveals and smirks, "You need the right timing make things ash away."
"Heh... heheh." Skullion chuckles, "I commend you for figuring it out, but something as simple as that won't be enough to stop me."
"I didn't expect it too either." Sueong ice's up, "All that's left is to increase the attack speed where you won't have time to react and make them turn to ashes." He prepares another attack.
"No you don't. It's my time for attacking now." Skullion quickly waves large ash attacks.
Sueong freezes storm, but some keep coming and catches him by his right stretched arm.
"Now I got you." Skullion tightens his fist to make the ashes squeeze his arm.
"No, you don't." Sueong freezes the ashes on him, and shatters them, freeing his arm.
"Even without moving, he froze the ashes wrapped around him." Skullion thought, pretty surprised.
"Moving on." Sueong prepares to attack back.
Gray vs Tyrone:
The two are in a different location, "Ice Make: Lance!" Gray fires.
"Diamond skin!" Tyrone forms over his body and takes the attack unscathed.
"What?! He brushed off the attack..." Gray scoffs, "Is that some kind of body armor?"
"Yeah it is. I can make any part of my body Diamond, therefore remaining unharmed from any attacks." Tyrone explains proudly with arms crossed.
"Ice Make: Hammer!" Gray attacks anyway, but it does no damage.
"Didn't you listen, it's no use. Your attacks will only shatter off my diamond skin upon contact." Tyrone repeats, "Better try something else or I'll attack myself."
"Go ahead and try then!" Gray then transforms into his devil slayer form. Causing the area around them to freeze in an instant.
"!" Tyrone looks around, still having Diamond skin activated, "This is...!"
"Ice Devil's: Zeroth long sword!" Gray blitzes and freezes Tyrone(with Diamond skin) completely.
"Be it Diamond skin, armor or whatever else, I'll freeze them to the core." Gray said.
A rumble comes from inside the ice prison, and Tyrone easily breaks out using a different power.
"!" Gray stuns in alert.
"That power... You're an Ice devil slayer, huh?" Tyrone walks forward, with a mark line down his left side to his chest.
"That mark, that means you're a...!" Gray is stunned to know.
"Right." Tyrone then attacks, "Diamond Devil's: Holy Beam!" He puts his right hand on his left palm before firing.
Gray gasps and blocks the attack, but manages to recover once the smoke cleared.
"Still standing? Not bad." Tyrone compliments.
"You know devil slayer magic too?!" Gray exclaims, surprised.
"Precisely." Tyrone replies, power-up, "Ever since I joined the Arkobolos guild, I've been training rigorously... and because of that." He then reveals, "I am a Diamond Devil Slayer now!"
"!" Gray's stunned but still prepares to keep fighting, "Then this is a battle between devil slayers, Ice and Diamond."
"I was about to say the same thing. All or nothing." Tyrone replies before they continue their battle.
Erza vs Kyria vs Chelliel:
Kyria and Erza are trading blows, sword for sword, "That's it!" The former exclaims excitedly.
Chelliel fires a solar beam at the two, which gets them to flip back from each other and dodge, "They dodged it..."
"You're a nuisance so I'll get rid of you first!" Kyria exclaims, waving a hand blade at chelliel.
She then forms a grass sword and counters kyria's attack, "You aren't the only one who can use a sword."
"A grass sword?" Erza's kind of surprised.
"Excellent! That's more like it! Now we can all have a wonderful swordplay!" Kyria exclaims excitedly.
"HA!" Erza joins the fray, striking at Chelliel first, which the latter blocks before Kyria targets both with hand blades.
They go at it with the sword battle for several seconds, the three ladies even.
"They're evenly matched!" Happy exclaims
"Since when did chelliel suddenly become excellent at using a sword." Hiouis murmurs, kinda impressed, "Not use to her fighting like that." He notices Carla running off to help wendy and Lucy, "Hey, where're ya going?!"
Meanwhile, Erza backflips a slash from Kyria before kicking her back in the face. Chelliel uses that moment to slash at Erza, which quickly guards against it, but still slides back. Kyria goes for a slash at chelliel, who quickly blocks it, sliding back and getting distance.
"Try this!" Chelliel reveals her next attack, with the tip of her grass sword, "Green God's: Solar beam!" She fires it.
"Lost magic?!" Erza dodges.
"Hmm, I see!" Kyria dodges it too.
"Phew." Chelliel sighs after that.
"So you're a God slayer...!" Erza figures out, "A green one at that."
"That was a close one!" Kyria exclaims, "You both are strong."
"I usually don't fight with a sword, but with all the training that was recently done at acquiring Green god slayer magic ... I'm glad it's paying off." Chelliel said.
"And for a sword that's to protect your friends... there's no room for error or weakness." Erza said as well.
"That's a splendid reason for the both of you. I appreciate this a fight to this caliber... but I don't care for all of that." Kyria admits before licking her lips, "Nah... I do want to see this for myself on the both of you."
