Next door to Midoriya, Tokoyami had his arms folded and scoffed, "No way." I looked at Tooru and shared a grin and a nod; we got up to pushing him and got him outta the way, and we all ran into his room.

Darkened lights! Purple glowing lamps and bat wings and cloaks hung all over!

"It's too damn dark! And too damn scary!" I cried out with the other girls.

"You fiends," he muttered, looking annoyed and talking like Bakugou.

"Hey, I know this keyholder!" said Eiji. "I bought one in middle school.

"So this is the kinda stuff boys are into, huh?" I agreed with him, looking around.

"So cool!" cried Midoriya, looking at a sword. A real sword!

"Get out!" screamed Tokoyami.

Aoyama, next door, had a room filled p with sparkling mirrors, a disco ball, a knight sculpture, pictures of himself, te exact opposite of Tokoyami's in a lot of ways.

"It's too bright!"

"Non, non. Not bright!" said Aoyama. "Shining!"

"Exactly what I expected," muttered Tooru.

"Way too predictable," I agreed with her.

"This is getting exciting!" Uraraka cheered. "Only one left on this floor is -"

Mineta opened his door and beckoned at us.

"Come on in. I'll show you something amazing," he leered. We all turned away.

Such a creep! "Let's go to the third floor!" said Uraraka.

Ojiro's was the first on the third floor. It was completely -

"Wow, it's so normal!"

"It really is normal, amazing!"

"So this is what 'normal' looks like."

"You don't have to force yourselves," muttered Ojiro, his tail slumping.

Iida's was next. It was lined with bookshelves - books everywhere, and seperate shelves for glasses.

"Difficult looking books are piled up everywhere! That's our class rep for ya!"

"Nothing strange to see here whatsoever!" smiled Iida. Uraraka nudged me and pointed. He'd piled up his spare glasses on shelves on the wall!

"Glasses, and a shit ton of them!" she burst out laughing.

"What's so funny! I've prepared in advance for any damage that may occur in our fierce training!" he replied. That's our class rep for ya!

Next door was Kaminari's. Lots of video games and shoes, stuff that looked like you could find it in a knicknack shop.

"So gaudy!"

"Sems like he just threw in whatever he managed to get his hands on!"

"Eh? I thought it looked good!" Kaminari whined.

Koda's was next. Mostly it was plain - but he had stuffed animals, and on the floor - a real one!

"There's a little bunny! Aw, it's so cute!"

"You brought a pet?" complained Kaminari. "No fair, that's cheatin!"

Me and Uraraka jumped in and started petting the cute little bunny. Behind us, the boys were starting to get annoyed.

"I'm not satisfied," grumbled Kaminari. "Yeah. You took the words right outta my mouth," said Ojiro.

"I must agree," grumbled Tokoyami.

"And I, as well," agreed Aoyama.

"Don't you think it's strange that only the boys have to endure criticisms of their rooms?" came the irritating voice of Mineta. "This was supposed to be a tournament, wasn't it? So it goes without saying that we can't decide the winner here until we see the girls' rooms, isn't that right? In order to determine who's got the best interior design sense in the class! We must evaluate every room equally, with all members present, don't you think?!"

Because of our challenge, the boys were getting competitive. I thought about it for a sec, then decided. I was ready for this contest! My super cute stuff would be some real competition. I grinned. "OK, why not?"

And that was how the first ever best room design competition got started.

"Um...alrighty then! We're gonna decide the room king! Sound good?" I jumped in, as the other girls started looking a little freaked, including Uraraka.

"Room king?" muttered Jirou.

"There's really no need to go that far, if you ask me," muttered Ojiro.

We made our way up to the fourth floor - my new floor.

"Bakugou, Kirishima, and Shoji, wasn't it?" said Uraraka. Plus her and me. My floormates!

"Where has Bakugou gone off to?" Iida asked Eiji, as if he was sure to know.

"He said this sounded stupid, so he went to bed," said Eiji, scratching the back of his head. He was wearing a bandana, like he'd been working out, and looked a little bashful. I liked it, actually - made him seem kinda cute and approachable.

"All right then, Kirishima's room it is!" cheered Hagakure as we approached it. Let'skeep this ball rolling!"

"I don't care, really," said Eiji, in a tone that made me think he actually did care. "But I doubt you girls will really like it." He opened the door to his dorm.

"The manliness of my badass room, that is!" he finished, pumping his fist.

He was right totally. He had a big punching bag in there and weights - like we didn't work out enough at school! And all these workout inspirational posters. Men kicking and waves and a clock with actual muscle arms. He had a model robot on the desk, and a few unpacked boxes; red flames on the curtains, and a crimson riot poster by his bed, which ahd green military camo style bedspread sheets.

Yup. Definitely a boy's room. And just like he'd thought. I honestly didn't get it.

"Yeah, you're right," I agreed with him.

Next to me, Tooru said, "I'd say this place's somewhere around #2 on my 'I'd never want someone with a room like this as a boyfriend' list."

I knew Eiji was kinda sensitive of course so I tried not to agree with her too hard. But yeah, what kinda girl would want to go into that sorta - that sorta room?

"It's so cool and manly! Makes me wanna get swole!" cheered Uraraka, which made my jaw drop. I mean, I knew Ochako was not super duper girly, but for real?

Eiji grinned and gave her a thumbs up. "See? She gets it!" he said, sharing a grin with her. Which was kinda annoying, I mean, it's not like I don't think working out is important or stuff. I mean, I'm a hero too! It's just...you know, most girls wouldn't like that kinda room. If they were going out with Eiji. Which, you know, I wasn't gonna. But you know...

"Next! Shoji!" said Tooru, getting my attention again.

"I'll tell you know, I don't have anything interesting," he warned us.

He didn't even have a bed! He'd stripped down the place - bare curtains, not even the desk chair!

"More like you don't have anything, period!" I gasped out.

"Is this what they refer to as 'minimalist'?" asked Todoroki.

"Well, ever since I was a young child, I've never really seen the point of having a lot of possessions," explained Shoji.

"All right, next we'll head up a floor to the boys on the fifth!"

"Let's start with Sero!"

"We're seriously hitting every single room?" said Jirou, who really didn't seem all that enthusiastic.

Sero's room was beautiful! Brown colors in perfect harmony, a hammock, lovely redesign of the dresser and the ceiling lamp and even the curtains!

"How stunning!" I cried putting my hands together.

"It's lovely! added Uraraka, mirroring me.

"So this is the kinda stuff you're into, eh sero?" asked Jirou.

"Now you've witnessed the gap in coolness between me and the rest of the guys!" he smirked out. I guess it wsas kinda turning into that sorta competition, like the boys were competing to get our attention. Ofcourse, there was only one boy's room I was really curious to see, and it was the next one over.

"Ah, that's right! It's Todoroki!"

The most handsome boy in class! I sighed to myself as we headed over, and I could tell the other girls were excited too. A chance to see more of Todoroki!

"Let's hurry up and get it over with," He said back to us. "I'm sleepy.

Our jaws dropped.

It was so traditionally Japanese! Even tatami floor mats and a low desk!

"It's so Japanese! It's even built differently!"

"My old place is a traditional style Japanese house, so I can't relax on traditional flooring, Todoroki explained.

"Who cares about the reason!" cried Kaminari and Mineta. "How the hell did you manage to do this same day remodeling by yourself!?"

"With hard work," said Todoroki, and he wasn't even trying to show off or be deadpan or anything, he was just saying it.

"What is his deal?!" cried the other boys.

"It seems like he's gonna grow up to be a big shot!" sighed HAgakure.

"I guess the handsome dudes just do things differently from the rest of us," said SAto.

"All right, then, next up! The last of the guys!"

"That's me," muttered Sato.

It was pretty boring and standard, just sugar on the bedspread and some baking tools.

"Well, there you have it. A boring room."

"Don't sweat it," said Eiji. "Anyone's room would seem boring after Todoroki's.

"Hold up a minute, something smells really good," said Ojiro. "What is that?"

"Ah, crap!" cried Sato, running over to the oven. "I completely forgot! I finished unpacking pretty quickly, so, I was baking a chiffon cake! I thought you all might want some!"

CAKE!

"It'd taste even better with whipped cream, but who wants some?" he asked, and all of us girls stampeded towards him.

"You kidding me!?" cried Kaminari and Mineta.

We all got some cake and it was amazing!

"It's sho shweet and fwuffy!" sighed Uraraka as she sampled her slice.

"He's totally surpassed Sero!" I sighed too as I poked my finger into my cheek.

"You've certainly picked up a wonderful hobby, Sato!" cried Yaomomo. "Why don't we pair it with some of my freshly brewed black tea next time?"

"Whoa! I never thought I'd get such a positive reaction!" gasped SAto, going red. "Well, it's just something I do as part of my quirk development training. Nothing special, really."

"Grr, darn it! I've gotta admit, the so-called sugar man really did live up to his name," mumbled Sero.

"He really delivered where it counts! Yum!" said Eiji.

I grinned as I finished my cake. And then turned to the other girls with a nod. Time to display our rooms!

Author's Note: Hey readers - sorry if this episode is taking a long time to finish. It has so much of the whole class together, so it just felt like one that needed to go slow. Hope you'll keep patient with me. I'm actually thinking of doing some of the Briefs Chapters on this arc during the summer (I'll be moving then, so I figure I'll have it on the brain.) I'll probably finish it by next week.
