Okay, so some of you may be disappointed with me for this chapter, why? Because I play some major favoritism for it, but it will convey the plot. So all I ask is that you blindly trust me the same way everyone trusted Ozpin... okay bad example. Just have faith...

Let's get into the match.

[Current Fight]

The current fight was being spectated as Team RWBY's Weiss and Yang were up against Team FNKI's Flynt Coal and Neon Katt. As the fight went on Church, Caboose and Emerald we're all analyzing all the moves that went on. Caboose more or less was told to analyze the fight, but was actually drawing doodles in his notebook he had kept with him. Seeing as Church and Emerald knew a good deal about hand to hand combat situations, they were judging and rating Yang's moves for the most part.

The rest of them cheered and rooted for Beacon as they normally would have, with excessive shouting and overtop cheers. Simmons got really into it and face painted Beacon's school logo on his cheeks as well as Donut's, his face cheeks.

While their friends roared with encouragement Church looked over his shoulder to see a representative from the games begun to approach him and his team. They had a letter and whispered something into his cat ear on the top of his head and then left. Caboose caught that and became very cautious, "What's wrong Church?"

"Nothin' just a letter about who we'll be fighting next. Church opened the letter and his eyes shot wide open, his hand began to tremble, as is his soul had left his very body.

Caboose peaked over Church's shoulder to see who they'd be fighting, "Who's WYMN?"

(WYMN is short for Wyoming/ y'all try searching for a words with those letters in them)

"There a team representing Atlas, but their school is on a mobile base... That's Washington's team." Church added.

Caboose recalled Washington, the crazy, unstable jerk who tried to kill Church in the middle of the library, "Oh... don't worry Church. We got this."

[The ACTUAL Fight]

Caboose placed a hand on Church's shoulder as the stood before the enemy, thankfully Washington wasn't here. Only the two best fighters on their team, well one was the best the other was the third, least, worst fighter among the members. Frankly it was a tie between York a beagle faunus, North and Washington the other two humans on the team. But they were still facing North and Maine, an albino alligator faunus with skin tough enough where you would cut and damage your hands punching him.

Maine's weapon was a large one at that, a large bladed gun, that shoots grenades at one end and can be used for close and long distance combat. Then there was North's weapons, he used two sniper rifles but when needed he twists the handle and they convert into two long spears. The real threat, seemed to be their armor, unseen before, Church had no idea how to fight against such technology. He was wondering if it could be pierced, possibly against the exposed areas if they could get those hit in.

Church's thought process was interrupted as Caboose shook his shoulder, "Hey Church what does that symbol mean?"

The symbol Caboose pointed at was directly overhead, hovering and rotating in circles while glaring on and off above them. The symbol was that of a gun and sword crossing each other with an even larger red circle with a line through it. Church knew this must be a one of the new surprise mystery factors for the games and judging by the contents of it he might not like it.

"Uh Oh. It looks like this is gonna be an all out brawl." Boomstick said in an almost mocking way.

Wiz added more details, "No weapons. No armor. Just skill on skill in hand to hand combat."

"This is what it comes down to... using nothing but your bare hands and knowledge of combat... THIS IS WHAT THE GAMES MEAN!!!" Port shouted full of enthusiasm.

Oobleck raised his glasses while a boxing ring, two tables and a two small changing rooms raised behind the two teams, "Please relieve yourself of all weapons and change into one of the few fighting outfits provided."

Maine, North and Caboose all placed their weapons down on the table with ease but Church was a different story as he unloaded all of his, the number of weapons made it difficult for him. The list was: one level action rifle, two .308 rifle chambered revolvers, three throwing knives, a bowie knife, two .22 mini derringer pistols, one .38 snub nose revolver, one COP .357 derringer pistol, a wrist blade, two concealed toe blades, a couple grenades and a miniature grenade launcher in the back of his pants.

While everyone either admired or was concerned because of the large pile of weapons on the Church's table, the men went to their room to change. After a moment of changing the first one's out were Caboose and North, wearing the same clothes but with a different color scheme. Caboose a black t-shirt and blue boxer shorts, North a purple purple tank top and purple shorts with a green line down the side of them. Next were Church and Maine, both looking just as ready as the other, Church wore sky blue shorts and a tight fitting long sleeve shirt. Maine was the same, white boxer shorts as his albino colored scales stretched across his body, covering him in a protective layer.

Out of armor, they could really get a good look at their opponents' faces and at least one of them was handsome, mixed with his well built average body as tall as Jaune. North had a clean shaven face, a nice well kept mess of blonde hair and eyes similar to the color of Tucker's outfit. All in all it made a lot of sense when several people started to cheer for him all of a sudden. As for his teammate Maine, he had some features on him, to put it nicely. A shaved head with a well sculpted face, prominent cheek bones, square jawline and two big bushy black eyebrows above his brown eyes. Peach color in his face, except for the scales that faded around his neck where it was very light pink on his back and a more eggshell color for on his front. His body was built, possibly more muscles than Caboose and just slightly taller than him as well. Not many scars but several scratches along his chest, stomach and back, but his teeth were interesting as they were very sharp with the exception of one gold tooth, which just shined brightly.

Church looked over at Caboose and asked the big guy a question, "Why are you wearing a shirt?"

"Well, I'd just feel kinda naked, wouldn't you?" Caboose responded scratching his neck.

Church shook his head, "Not really, besides you have a good body, you should show it off."

"You think?"

"Flex your arms, trust me."

Caboose did as he was instructed and soon as he started flexing his muscles, the shirt began to tear and rip at his arms. In a sudden burst, the shirt was torn to shreds and exposed his beautifully made body, earning more cheers from other people. Filled with encouragement he placed his hands and assumed a wrestling style pose, as he learned from his many sisters.

An official referee came down along with some of the many students from the several schools, specifically the physically strongest students. The students being: Yang Xiao Long, Nora Valkyrie, Jaune Arc, Dexter Grif, Lopez, Emerald Sustrai, Cardin Winchester, Yatsuhashi Daichi, Arslan Atlan and John Andersmith; just to name a few.

Caboose knelt down to talk to so them, "What are you guys doing here?"

"They said we were needed in case the fight got too out of hand." Yang answered.

Cardin got up as close as he could, "Hey... I know you have a match right now, but I wanna say I'm sorry for alot stuff I did."

"Oh... well it's okay... just glad you're doing better." Caboose smiled at him.

Cardin smiled sincerely and looked back at Caboose's opponent, "Be careful, I caught a glimpse of his first fight... He's kinda their powerhouse. He's got this strange semblance that makes him indestructible for a moment."

"Thanks. We will be as careful as we can." Caboose nodded as the official went to the center waiting for both teams to come forward.

After being told the rules, they were waiting for the bell to give both teams the go to commence the fight. Where Church and Caboose leaned next to each other to discuss a plan together, "Who do you want?" Caboose questioned.

Church looked back and chose the most logical option, "I'll take skinny, you think you're okay handling the big guy?"

"Absolutely." Caboose confirmed.

The bell rang and thus the brawl between competitors begun, Church kept his guard up and moved to North. While Caboose had his hands up just above his forehead, just above for his type of style and Maine had his eyes set on Caboose.

Church threw the first couple punches as North blocked all he could, the force was still proving to be a lot for him to handle as each punch blocked kept knocking North around. North finally fought back, using his thumb and index finger he made a jab directly under Church's armpit.

The hit worked well and actually made Church feel a great deal of pain, almost as if he had been stabbed by an actual knife. The hit made him squirm as he looked over to see where Caboose was at.

Caboose and Maine locked hands and began to push against each other to see who would fall or back up first. It seemed the two were of equal strength, as they both began to sweat, their veins bulging out and even grunting the same. The two broke off and Maine went for a right sucker punch, but Caboose ducked under it and used his weight and strength to pick up Maine and choke slam him on the ground.

Maine got back on his feet and squared up, "Impressive style. Who did you train with?"

"My sisters, they taught me everything when it comes to hand to hand fighting." Caboose answered as he went for a running punch and was about to connect.

But Maine smiled as he pressed his tongue against his teeth, then his face began to shine like it was made of gold. Because it was. When Caboose's hit connected, Maine was only slightly moved while Caboose's hand felt nothing but pain. His hand ached as Maine walked forward, each step heavier with each step, "Not bad, but you're out of you're league."

"You can turn into gold?" Caboose asked, clenching his hand.

Maine smirked and realized he couldn't lose to Caboose as it were, so what was the harm in giving him some details, "Not really, see I can absorb anything or anyone and gain their properties. I can absorb fire and melt anything with ease, absorb metal and I'm indestructible. I don't even know my own limits so there is no way you're winning this fight." Maine went for a few more punches, but missed all. His attacks may be stronger but at the cost of speed making Caboose have

a small chance to actually win.

So Caboose went in for a grappler hold and put Maine into a full nelson and kept him from moving throughout the round.

Just in time as the bell rang twice indicating the first round was over. Three minutes had went by extremely fast and left one minute for the fighters to catch a breather. Unfortunately Maine slipped in one cheap shot and punched Caboose real quick before the round ended in the face.

A few of the standby people jumped in and prepared for the worst outcome there was possible. The teams separated the fighters and brought Caboose and Church to their respected corners. When the team of strong characters separated the fighters from each other, they then brought out the stools for Caboose and Church.

The friends among Church and Caboose crowded around them to get them ready for round 2 in the match.

"Caboose ya got to hit him with your hardest punch." Yang advised.

"Don't listen to her, the best offense is a good defense." Cardin suggested.

"Screw that, go for a nut shot." Grif argued.

"Hey." Church tried to get involved.

"Should we be offering advice, we were only meant to interrupt the fight when needed." Andersmith wondered.

"Meh, what's the harm in that." Nora brushed that off.

"In which case, put him in a sleeper hold and cut off his air circulation." Andersmith offered.

"Hey..." Church said louder to get their attention.

"Caboose you're doing great, just hang in there and try to your best to keep dodging and wait for an opening." Emerald said.

"I'm not sure if I can, he's too strong." Caboose shook his head.

"How about you..." Someone else was about to interrupt again until, they all made his teammate mad.

"HEY!!!" Church shouted, "Can I talk to him?"

"Sheesh fine." Grif said as he slid out the ring.

"Church he's too strong. I can't fight him and win. I'm sorry, you should've chose someone else. I'm sorry." Caboose repeated his apology quickly.

Church stood up from his seat and in Caboose's face as he sat on his tiny seat, "Hey, don't worry. You got this... Listen my guy is tearing me up, let's switch."

"No Church, no. He'll tear you up. I'll fight him. Don't worry." Caboose practically hiperventilating his words.

Church placed both hands on Caboose's face, "Don't worry, I'll be fine. Just make sure you knock my guy out."

"But Church He-"

"Hey, I got this."

"...Okay..."

The bell rang again, signaling it was go time for another round to begin making both the teams rise up from their corners. When Caboose and Church went to face to their enemies Caboose stepped behind Church and faced North as Church looked up at Maine. Safe to say that most people were nervous about Church going up against the monstrosity that was Maine.

Caboose felt only slightly scared as while North wasn't big or too strong, his precise pressure point hit were something to fear. Afterall, Church was one of the toughest men he knew, the toughest person he knew went to Emerald. So what could he do to protect himself against a terrifying attack?

Something he would find out soon as he started to attack first by throwing several heavy haymakers at North. As before North ducked and dodged under the punches and waited for the perfect moment to strike. Caboose left his chest wide open and North closed the distance, "Sorry bud, the bigger the target, the bigger the weak points." North said as he had his two fingers strike the same spot he struck Caboose. What happened next confused everyone.

Caboose made a face as if he was hiding pain, but he started to suppress his lips, the let out a few chuckles. North hit him again in another pressure point and got the same reaction with several more chuckles. Again, different spot but this time he was full on laughing; not to be rude but because, "Stop... please, it tickles."

Now how could North's strike hurt Church way more than it would hurt Caboose? That lies in simple biology. Being a tiger faunus, the density and thickness of Church's fur, hide and skin depended entirely on where his habitat was. Being in colder climates made his fur thick but not nowhere as thick as Caboose's. Being a bear faunus gave Caboose a great physical defense as his fur, hide, skin were four inches thick. That's not even including his muscles he built up over time.

He couldn't stop North's hits as he couldn't stop laughing and begging North to stop striking him, "Stop... please... Hahaha... I'm gonna pee... No... haha... nonono... haha."

"Ehhh... ya gotta be kidding me..." North replied to the endless laughing he was causing.

With Maine and Church, alligator versus tiger, reptile against mammal, this was a battle of the two of the most deadliest creatures on the planet. Maine wasted no time and transformed his body into gold, wickedly grinning at his seemingly indestructible defense. Church remained unfazed by his opponent's actions and simply rubbed his hands together. Maine was feeling too cocky, "Y'know what, I'm feeling generous. Take a free shot, but don't waste it."

"Thanks for being that stupid." Church commented before pulling his arm back and throwing his punch.

The smiling Maine suddenly gasped as the wind was knocked out of him once Church's fist connected to his stomach. He looked down at the shocking sight, the spot where Church hit wasn't golden nor protected too well by his aura. Church had actually managed to land such a destructive blow, so powerful and surprising that it knocked the aura level from 95 to 85.

One question rang through Maine's mind, "H-How? How? How?"

"How'd I do it? Simple, you're stupid and arrogant." Church answered as he began to explain the real reason, "You used your semblance so I used mine. Energy: not only can I absorb several types, I can bend it to my will, transfer it, limitless possibilities. Including softening an aura spot and canceling out another semblance. So either you fight fair or I'll shut you down from the inside."

Those words being said made Maine make an angered expression as his body turned back to organic flesh it was originally. Maine kept his teeth clenched as he spoke back, "Fine... but now I'm gonna take my time and beat you to a pulp. When I'm through you'll be wishing for death."

"Yeah, yeah. Heard that several times before. Now shut up and fight." Church brushed off.

North was still tickling Caboose, or trying to hurt him more but kept on getting nothing but laughs out of the big bear faunus. All those tickles only damaged Caboose's aura in the slightest way possible, honestly he dropped Caboose from 94.6% to 93.2%. So as a way to switch up he through a punch to Caboose's face, the punch did more damage but cured Caboose of is chuckles.

Caboose wiped his mouth and got serious again, "Ow... Okay, let's do what one of big sisters recommend whenever we fight." In a simple rush Caboose grabbed North by the shoulders and held him in his arms, "Let's hug it out."

But North was being squeezed in the strongest bear hug there ever was known to anyone in the history of bear hugs. He was squeezed so hard that the longer Caboose hugged the more his aura dropped closer and closer to the red zone. From 89% to 79%, to 68%, to 57%, Caboose was actually draining the aura like he was about to make lemonade. The more North struggled, the more he lost, as Caboose's grip was stronger than that of a King Taiju, that relied on nothing but Caboose.

After one last crush, North went limb and stumbled around in circles as Caboose prepared to end the fight quick. He ran to the ropes, leaned back and rushed forward with an extra boost; the first was a bum rush that knocked North against the ropes on his side. North bounced against the ropes and went back to Caboose, where the big bear greeted him with a double jump kick and dropped North to the ground. Still dazed and dizzy, North tried to get up before he could get hurt again but Caboose grabbed him by the ankles and spun him around. The spinning force sent him into the corner as he rammed back first against it. Now in actual pain from the great barrage, North rose up slowly as possible, but when he picked his head up he wanted to be having a nightmare. Caboose was running towards him and knocked North out with one of the heaviest uppercuts anyone ever felt, the force knocking him over 18 feet in the air. Over the ropes and out of the ring, on his back where Wash and York rushed to his side to make sure he was okay.

Caboose looked back at Church and saw he was having trouble with Maine, as the crocodile was still finding new ways to play dirty. Maine headbutted Church, then stomped on his foot, finally delivering a huge hook.

Just as Caboose was about to intervene Church stopped him by raising his hand, the tiger prevented the bear from stepping forward. Church got up to see Maine taunting him, "Bring it on, kitty. Just you and me!"

With wipe from his mouth Church insulted him right back, "Bring it on asshole!"

Maine went for a charging punch but Church ducked under it and grabbed Maine's torso, picking the larger man up and slamming him down. Church delivered a back kick when Maine bounced against the ground, then delivered an overhead punch on the top of the head. Church went for another punch but that strike was caught by Maine, with a shoulder bump Church was knocked off his balance. Maine took the unsteady advantage and began to land slow but heavy haymakers on Church, after getting a few hits in Maine prepared a heavy hook. The hook didn't connect as Church caught his balance and threw a punch quicker than Maine could.

"They won't stop! How long could this go on?" Port asked as he saw an actual epic boxing match that even Yang approved.

Church delivered a running cross to Maine's teeth as they kept going at it like animals. Church went for more hits as he struck Maine's face with a jab and a cross, then started hitting his midsection. Maine threw more sluggers as he kept going for heavy hits, able to let Church duck under them all. Once the hits ceased, Church began riddling the belly and ribs with more hits, finishing with an uppercut to the jawline.

More hits from Maine kept coming, but he moved so slow that they all completely missed by miles as Church dodged each and every one of them. The two readied their best hits against each other as they both aimed for uppercuts, but not exactly. As Maine swept Church's legs with that hit, then knocked him up into the air with another uppercut he went to stomp on his head. Luckily the tiger was quick enough to roll out of the way of the way and got back up to start the fight again.

The two of them collided fists, Church's aura took the brute force of the hit, so did the ring as the hit sent a shock cracking the floor and sent air blowing past Caboose. When the fists separated, Church used free hand to nail Maine in his face, with jabs and slug to the cheek. Another fist collision messed up Church's other hand as he let his body take the blows from Maine, hitting his midsection. More fist collisions, again and again, again until the force sent both of them backwards.

With their most powerful rushing punches, the two charged again and came at each other, both seemingly not backing down. Until Maine sidestepped out of the way, once he dodged Church's move he had the jump on the tiger. The missed punch made Church misstep and lose his placement as Maine took this chance to his advantage, winding up his arm he prepared to knock Church out in a single punch, "You won't even hear the full 10 count. Why don't you go to hell?!" Maine ordered as he struck Church in his temple.

Lights flickered in Church's head as he fell to the ground, which felt like forever as everyone rooting for them watched in awe. When he finally hit the floor he wanted to get back up again, despite his aura being dangerously close to the redline. As his body hesitated to cooperate with him the announcers echoed in his round ears, "I don't believe, Church is down, this could be over!"

Church took a moment to steady himself on the floor, where he gathered all the life energy he could in himself and fueled a one last ditch effort. Slamming his fist on the ground he declared, "I ain't done!"

"Huh? What?" Maine questioned as he saw the man who was on the floor, now back on his feet with his stripes, now glowing an electric blue.

Maine went for his signature power punches, but somehow Church was moving faster than the first time they fought. Miss and swing, swing and miss no haymaker was gonna connect. As Maine tried to catch his breath Church attacked. His dodges weren't the only thing that was faster, Church landed more punches: uppercut, jab, cross, hook, and repeat at least four more times. Maine threw a golden punch that almost landed, but Church used that to his advantage and used his energy to stun Maine's arm. As the arm went dead Church threw a true barrage of swings, they flew so fast that Maine couldn't keep up where they were coming from. Faster still as Maine could only see glimpses of his opponent beating the ever living shit out of him.

When the hits ended a tired Church wanted to end the fight, but worried he might not have the strength for this. Until his teammate came to his side, "Let's do this Church." Caboose stomped on the floor making the large man stumble back towards them, "Hey Church let's make this one..."

"GREAT!" Church finished the sentence while cracking his knuckles.

The two copied each other's move and began to beat and punch the crap out Maine together with fast multiple hit punches at the same speed.

"OHHHHHHHH!!!" Church said as his partner said.

"YEEEEEEEEAH!!!" Caboose added to Church's saying.

"DO-" The two backed up their fists and unleashed the double uppercut that knocked Maine out of the ring and out of aura, as they finished their saying, "RAAAAA!!!"

{If you get the reference, you had an epic childhood, or adulthood. Or teenage years}

With a KO and the last two standing, Church held onto Caboose, while the bigger man held Church up easily. Their friends rushed into the ring began celebrating with them as the "representative fighters" picked up their fallen allies and dragged them to the sides. All of them, except one cyan, sea foam green, aquamarine armoured member.

"Hey." she yelled through her helmet, "You better be ready, because you're my next target." Despite the helmet messing with her voice, it came through clear as day, she sounded exactly like Pyrrha. Hearing Pyrrha or her voice speak in such a manner and make a threat like that unnerved everyone, especially Church. Afterall this was his sister, Carolina Church.

Caboose could feel Church actually trembling in his arms, even though he remained still and steady as a rock on the surface underneath was a different story. As Caboose looked at his friends and the frightened Church he knew something needed to be done. He just wish he thought of something better at the time.

As Carolina began to walk away, Caboose called out, "Hey." Once she and the others turned to Caboose, he said one the bravest or dumbest things to say, "Church won't be fighting in the next round... I will."

"Caboose no..." Church tried to protest against it but proved to have be too tired.

Caboose simply smiled as he held onto Church, "Don't worry Church I got this."

"Tch, can't promise I'll go easy on ya." Carolina remarked.

Caboose changed his expression once he looked at her, "Look at me... do I look afraid to you?"

Everyone fell silent at the fact that Caboose, the loveable goof that he was, just said one of the most badass things they had ever heard. Carolina just grew even more pissed, "Nice one liner, Fozzy Bear, but now... you're gonna regret making every decision that led you here."

With that said Carolina walked off as Caboose just ensured his own doom, more accurately his new fight. Church and Emerald, as well as all of his friends, looked at Caboose with nothing but worry.

[Team PICK Dorm]

Currently Cinder was out of the room after doing some last minute additions to the plan to ensure total success. She was their most powerful piece and head of the whole operation that would them to ultimate victory. She was also the weilder of the power most people only dream of having at their fingertips. For now.

But after their actual leader, Darius, AKA Dr. Pill, was skimming through a few files they managed to pull from Atlas, he came across something game changing. Specifically the fact that he landed on the profile of Maine, something he would guarantee to use.

"Well, well, well. This just got a whole lot more interesting." Darius pointed out.

Ivan, the sleeveless man spoke up, "Something wrong boss?"

"No... but we just got a new meal ticket to control." He said as he gave his next orders, "Make sure the whole team is ready to move... oh and bring... him in."

"Sir? You sure he's ready?" Kiss asked.

"Not only do I know he is, he's been waiting for an opportunity like this to happen." Darius assured his team.

[Ozpin's Office]

Ozpin was waiting for two specific individuals to arrive in his office, so naturally he was enjoying his coffee while his wife kept him company. After the fiasco that was James taking over everything that he was supposed to be in charge of. He knew that he may need to rush his plans.

As he took a sip from his mug, Qrow and The Director entered his office, "I wish James would be smarter than this."

"His heart is in the right place... He's just... misguided is all." Salem defended one her students she had taught.

Qrow scoffed at that statement, "I've asked before if he even has a heart." Taking a nice drink from his flask Qrow asked a different question, "So, have you chosen your guardian yet?"

"Maidens choose themselves, I simply believe I have found the right candidate. Ever since the day I met her I've had a feeling that she would be the one." Ozpin began to list all the qualities they were searching for, "She's strong... intelligent... caring... But most importantly... she's ready."

[To Be Continued]
