Ky's POV

Cadel, if you can hear me. Go find Gale and get him over here I thought to Cadel.

Yes young Ky. Said a raspy voice. A few minutes later, there was a knock on my door. I opened and Gale came in, "Some silver bird ca-!? Wait a minute, it was you! He pecked at my hair! You asshole!" Said a irritated Gale.

I shrugged innocently. Alex and Dylan were laughing.

After settling down, I explained the situation. He became serious and said "let's do this"

We walked out my room. Mom and Dad was there. She saw Dylan and Alex, rose an eyebrow at me, said "Girls, gather around"

Everyone started settling down. Nearly all of Moms hunters were giving me weird looks over my new appearance, but said nothing. Dylan sat closest to my door.

It took a moment for Dylan to gather his words. I had my hand on my bracelets just in case.

"Uhhh...umm...me and my sister just thought you guys should know...uhhh...Bob isn't our biological father" said a nervous Dylan.

They looked annoyed that Dylan cause he was a guy. Alex kept her head down.

"13 years ago, our mother was raped." Said Alex. That changed the mood from annoyed to sympathetic. Most were still confused, "What does that have to do with us?" Said a Asian hunter with brown hair and eyes.

"The rapist was Orion" said a scared Dylan. It was quiet for 5 seconds. Then a few enraged hunters jumped up and pulled out their bows.

"Stand down! All of you!" Said my mom in a authoritative tone. Most were completely calm. They had a knowing look on their faces. I narrowed my eyes, "A lot of you already knew, didn't you?"

Said hunters nodded. Some where confused, "What?! You guys knew and no one us? And how did you find out?" Said an outraged blonde.

"Well, Orion isn't their REAL father. A real parent takes care of the kids he has claimed as his own, blood or not. So I honestly don't know why it would be any of our business" said Reyna.

"And hasn't anyone noticed a change in themselves ever those two enter the room? Then there's the fact they have mechanical eyes and " Said a Blasian with gray eyes. Probably a daughter of Athena.

Some still were confused and lost.

Thalia then explained, "That dickhead is meant to oppose Milady and Apollo. Therefore, his presence can negate some of their powers. I was walking towards the arena one day last year and when I got there, Dylan was teaching 3 of our own about how to use a spear."

"Language, Thalia!" Scolded Mom.

"I remember that. They begged you to teach them cause your better than me, even going so far as to bet for it in games they came up with." said Alex, who was trying not to laugh.

She failed and started laughing uncontrollably. This cause nearly everyone else to laugh as the three said hunters said "Hey, stop laughing!"

Once every quiet down, one of them, a strawberry blonde girl with brown eyes, said "We noticed that our hunter abilities didn't work while he was teaching us"

"Yea, I couldn't understand one of my animals. I though she was ignoring me. Then there was the fact that none of my shots made it when I practiced my bow next to him" said a black hair girl with blue eyes, another one.

The last of the trio, a mixed girl with honey colored eyes, said "One of our pranks from 2 years ago involved Scorpions. They were poisonless, but Alex and Dylan freaked out and ran to the beach. Not only that, but when asked why, they said "We have a fear of scorpions. We get it from our father."

"That didn't really make any sense, since Bob crush a few of the scorpions and said "no owie making time for you ugly spider"" said Thalia.

At this point Dylan and Alex were ready to run. Mom noticed and said "Calm down. That bastard Orion isn't your real father, so you have nothing to worry about."

They calmed down. A horn that I didn't recognize blew.

"Must be time for capture the flag!" Said one of the hunters. They all had evil grins on their faces, so me and my friends went back to my room.

"What are they taking about?" Said Gale and I at the same time.

Their explanation was simple. Two teams compete to capture the others flag. No killing allow. You can plan any kind of strategy you want. You may place traps that only disarm or capture beforehand.

Since the hunters are here, we will be playing a customary Hunters vs Campers game. Hunters win most of the time.

"So does that mean I'll be on the hunters team? Cause if they're practically always winning, that's not a challenge." I said.

Dylan and Alex gave each an uneasy look. Alex said "You guys can't play yet"

"What?! Why?!" Whined Gale.

"You're firstborns, so you can't play unless you learn TOTAL control over all your powers" said Alex.

"Oh come on! That's bullshit!" I muttered. They shrugged their shoulders, "We didn't get to play in Capture The Flag til last year, and we've been living in camp for 3 and a half years" said Alex.

I groaned, "No fair. Fine then, I guess we'll go to the arena."

I asked Alex to stay behind to talk, so Dylan and Gale left. Gale winked at me before he left. I'm gonna get him later.

I decided to take my chance, "um...well..."

I rubbed the back of my head, "Do you wanna go to the Olympia Dance with me?" I said in a low voice.

Various expressions came across her face, from confusion to shock, to suspicion to joy, to shock to confusion.

"Who dared you too?" she said. I already lied to her once, and she knew, so even if it isn't a kind answer, I saw no point in lying again, "Gale"

She then said, "I'll go, but only if you tell me what happened before we came here. Your body was in a lot of pain before we came here. Your presence has also changed. There's a new part of you that can experience pain. Tell me"

I sigh and revealed my tail. It unwrapped around me and whirled through the air cause of my ADHD.

I told the truth somewhat, "The only thing I can tell you is that Mom gave me a early birthday present. She requested I tell no one what it was or what happened"

"Ok then. One more thing. There are rumors going around that you came out of Astraeus cabin. Why?" She said in a weird tone I couldn't figure out.

"Oh, I'm going there every night to hang out with Miu and maybe her brother. We're both Nocturnal demigods so we don't sleep for more than 2-3 hours. It gets lonely and I have to find something to do for the next 6-8 hours." I said.

"Hmmm, ok" said Alex.

"Do you know her?" I asked. She nodded, "I'm one of the only people she's close to. She stays in her cabin a lot cause of her anxiety, which is very high"

I had a realization, "Oh. Oh, shit"

I had practically coerced my way in her cabin last night. I need to apology when I see next time

"She told me about you. She said you're annoying, but in a good way, cause you bring good company" said a grinning Alex.

"Hey!" I said. She laughed. I started laugh too. We we calmed down, she said "We gonna have so much fun at the dance" and left.

I went to the arena since cause everyone was getting ready for capture the flag. Gale got there when I got there.

A whole bunch of kids where in the arena. Only ages 11 and up could play in Capture The Flag. When we got there, the "cliques" had already been established.

There were 5 10-year-olds, 2 girls and 3 boys, picking on 8-year-old boy. He looked ready to cry. I walked over and summoned Arcus. He roared at the 5 kids. 1 passed out, 2 peed their pants and ran away, and the others ran like hell.

"Hey, you good?" I said. He said "Y-yea. My name is Riker"

He was a Blasian boy with black curly hair and violet eyes.

"And before you say I shouldn't let them pick on me, they're all Olympian demigods. No disrespect to my mom, Nemesis, but she's a minor god." He said, manning up.

"Why not use Ichor-tapping for self-defense?" I said.

"The Olympian demigods have it easy cause there powers come to them more naturally cause their stronger. The minor demigods have a harder time cause our parents domains don't really give us anything to go on" said Riker sadly.

"What about Revenge Reflex?" I said, confused. He was also confused, "Zeus made it so the gods can't tell what powers we get. We're supposed to figure them out ourselves. What's Revenge Reflex?"

I smiled, "One of my ancestors was a child of Nemesis. I get it from them. It's a superhuman skill that allows you to take the power of your opponents and throw it right back at them with your own power added to it. It kinda superhuman judo"

I beckoned Gale over, "I'll show you"

I explain to Gale what I was doing.

Gale threw a kick at the left side of my ribs. In the split second before his foot made contact, my body already knew how to react. When his foot made contact, I used its power to move in the direction it was going while spinning around and and threw a kick of my own. Gale got sent over 5 feet away.

"See? And I'm not even really hurt" I said. I helped Gale up. He grunted, "I think you put a little more than what you should have"

Riker was mesmerized, "Can you teach me?"

I said "Don't need to. Your body should already know. Do Ichor-tapping and then try it out, I'll help"

"Actually, what have you already been able to do?" I asked.

"When some hurts me, I become stronger when I go after them, I get lucky when going for weak spots, and I can use the abilities of or transform into a goose, but that's all" he said

"That just won't do. I'm going to teach you everything I THINK you can do. Starting with Revenge Reflex." I said. We got into fighting position. He closed his eyes and then opened them. When he did, his irises had rings of gold in them.

I tried to trip his legs. Key word:tried

When my foot made contact, Riker fell over onto his hands and cartwheel kick me in the arm.

The kick was stronger than mines and I flew 10 feet away.

I got up and went over to him with a smile on my face. He was shocked and stared at his hands. He put his hands on his head, "uhhh...my head"

"That's normal. Once you use Revenge Reflex, you adapt in all ways possible to be able to use it even more. It's like a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets. It happened to me too when I used it, so don't worry." I explained.

Once he got better, he was smiling from ear to ear, "This is so cool! And there's more?" He asked.

This time, Gale responded, "Yeah. All it takes is creativity. If all you use is logic, you will only get bit so far. You got to use both"

"Ok" said a happy Riker. I told to Gale summon a huge disc.

"This next one requires me to beat you up, BUT it will be worth it. Do you trust me?" I said.

He nodded his head, determined.

"This time, I want you to concentrate on your thirst for revenge and hold it in as I'm hitting you. And when I say 'throw it', I want you point you hand at the disc, and aim your anger and vengeance thirst at it. Got it?" I said. He nodded.

I punched him 6 times and kicked him 5 times. He's a tough kid. I said "throw it" and moved out of his way.

If looks could kill, I would have been dead. Riker threw his hand at the disc and roared. A bolt of purple lightning shot out of hand at the disc. It exploded. All of Riker injuries that I gave him disappeared when shot the disc.

I then became aware of the stares we were getting. My anxiety started rising. Gale noticed and screamed "Nothing to see here! Stop staring!"

Riker nearly fell over but he straightened himself. He was exhausted, as this is the first time he's used such powers, especially with how young he is.

"We'll be stopping here today. You're young so you need rest. We'll continue tomorrow." I said.

"Wait, didn't you see how far I just nearly fell? How did I straighten up like that?" He said.

"Nemesis is the also the Goddess of Balance. Now that you're delving more into your true powers, your inhuman sense of balance has been awakened." Gale said. Riker seemed a little lost so I simplified, "He means you can control your balance better that ANYONE in camp"

Riker was ecstatic, "Can my sibling learn too?"

I chuckle, "Of course, but promise me one thing"

"Ok" he said. I rubbed his hair, "Promise to use what I teach you only for what's right?"

"Yes sir" he said while saluting. We all laughed.

I then explained the other things that I suspected could be possible for me to teach him:

-Balance Absorption: Can induce vertigo in a group of opponents, stealing their balance.
-Can shadow travel, as their mother is an Underworld deity, but only in short distances
-Demi-Divine Retribution: Able to curse others like their mom, but on a Demigod scale. The effects are determined by how much the target deserves it (she's the one who cursed Narcissus)
-Revenge infusion: Can infuse their weapons with the will of revenge, using energy from within themselves or the damage they have accumulated from Lethal Retribution to make their weapons more powerful.
-Shadow of Vengeance: Can summon their shadow as an apparition to fight with them. It will appear as someone the opponents have wronged or their arch-nemesis.
-Furious Revenge Frenzy: Goes into a crazy superhuman state when a loved one has been injured/killed, backed into a corner, or when something important has been taken from them. Needs a loved one to guide them, as they can not tell friends from foe. Will not stop until the one responsible is killed or injured.

He listened, awestruck, "My mom can do these things too, right?"

I nodded, "In fact ask her yourself. She's been watch us this whole time. Look"

I pointed behind him at a goose that had been staring at us the whole time. She flew over us and dropped something on the ground in front of Riker.

It was a box. He opened it and inside was a note with purple rings.

Dear Riker,

I'm so proud of you. You get a lot of things from me, but the Tenacity and Perseverance is from your father. Inside are the weapons of the first child I ever had, Damian. Made specifically for your powers. Your siblings weapons will be delivered when they awaken. My grandson is such a genius. I'm so proud. To summon the weapons, take them off your fingers, and to revert them back just dropped the weapons.

Riker picked up his rings. The second he held them up, they glowed, transforming into a sword and dagger.

The blade of the dagger was foot long, purple, and had a black hilt that had a handle connected to the cross guard.

The sword was purple and it's blade was about 2 1/2 feet long and double-edged. The cross guard was gold with a dark silver metal twirled around it and an amethyst in the middle. The handle was wrapped blue, black, and gold leather.

Riker dropped them and they turned back into rings.

Soon after, a horn sounded and Chiron's voice boomed proudly, "CAMPERS WIN!!"

Everyone in the arena cheered, temporarily forgetting what they just witnessed.
