Naruto awoke one morning in the Team Avatar household. Naruto brushed his hair and put on his blue and green Jonin garb. Katara was applying makeup, applying perfume, and doing her hair in her iconic fancy hair loopies.

When both Katara and Naruto did their morning routine, Katara wanted to say something to Naruto.

"You owe me a life changing field trip, Naruto." Katara told Naruto

"Yes, I do." Naruto said.

"Since you just been on that long journey with Sokka, how about we do something more relaxed, like buying clothes." Katara asked.

"But I am just fine in my Jonin uniform!" Naruto protested.

"Well you're not in Konoha anymore, so loose the vest!" Katara dragged Naruto by the arm. "Come, we're going shopping!"

Naruto and Katara went to the Cranefish Town's very own Unagi Mall, named after the large serpent that lives near Kyoshi Island. In Unagi Mall's Eternal 23, and saw a variety of brightly colored clothes available.

"Wow!" Katara said, running over to the Water Tribe section. "I never seen so many cute chic Water Tribe fashions!" Katara took some clothes to a fitting room. She tried on a white shirt with dark blue pants, a light blue neck scarf and a bright blue wide brimmed hat to look classy. The store clerk, who had a black beach ball haircut, blue eyes, glasses, and a light blue formal gown with blue high heels came up to Katara.

"Would you like to buy what you picked out?" The clerk asked. Katara bought what she picked out with her Yuans. Meanwhile Naruto was looking to see some orange clothes, but he could not find any.

"Excuse me?" Naruto said to the store clerk. "Why aren't there any orange clothes?"

"Orange is associated with the Air Nomads and they are long extinct." The clerk said. "The closest we have are the new Air Acolytes, but they are not true Airbenders, only dreamers."

"Ok, then how about I settle for some red clothes?" Naruto asked. The clerk laughed.

"Red is associated with the Fire Nation, and there are plenty of Firebenders around." The clerk said. She escorted Naruto to the Fire Nation section.

"Back where I come from, we call Konoha the Fire Nation." Naruto mentioned.

"Well, our Fire Nation was the mastermind behind a whole hundred years war, but that's a long story." The clerk said. Naruto went to try on some Fire Nation clothes. Naruto tried on a red frock coat with a white shirt, black pants, black boots, and a black neck scarf.

"Would you like to buy what you picked out?" The clerk asked.

"Sure!" Naruto handed the clerk some Ryo."

"This is Ninja World Money." The clerk said. "Oh well, at least it's money!" She laughed, taking the ninja world money. Naruto and Katara left the store to explore more of the mall.

"Naruto, how about we get our hair done at the salon?" Naruto sighed.

At the Salon, Naruto's hair was cut, sprayed and gelled to be a rather flatter haircut than his usual spiky haircut. Katara's hair was styled to a long and wavy haircut while retaining her hair loopies.

Katara and Naruto went to the food court and bought some seaweed noodles from the Water Tribe section.

"So, is that what they eat in the Water Tribe?" Naruto asked.

"My mother always cooked the best seaweed noodles there ever was." Katara answered. "Shame my mother's gone."

"I never knew my mother, because she died when I was born." Naruto mentioned. "I never knew my father either, but I was raised by a man named Iruka. He adopted me and raised me, which was weird because he was the academy instructor."

"My father left me to fight the war when I was very young." Katara mentioned. I didn't find him until we invaded the Fire Nation before the eclipse."

"There was an eclipse?" Naruto asked.

"To make a long story short, the Fire Nation loses their bending during an eclipse. We needed the eclipse's advantage to win the war, so we invaded during the eclipse."

At the end of the day, Katara and Naruto left the mall and were sitting on a park bench late at night.

"Naruto, thank you for this wonderful day out, I really loved it!" Katara said.

"I thought you would." Naruto said. "You're really pretty. And you look so classy with the hat!"

"Aww thanks Naruto." Katara told Naruto. "You're so sweet." Katara and Naruto began to kiss, but they stopped.

"Um….I already have a boyfriend." Katara said.

"And I…." Naruto said. "Well, nevermind." Katara and Naruto went back home.

When Katara went back home she saw Aang practicing his lightning generation.

"Hey there, arrowhead." Katara said, seducing Aang. Aang fell in love.

"You look so snazzy with the hat, Katara." Aang said. "It's a nice look for you."

"Thanks!" Katara said, feeling happy inside. She hugged Aang.

Meanwhile, at the Jasmine Dragon, Zuko went to see Iroh, holding a grey vase with a red stripe.

"Zuko, what brings you to my tea shop?" Iroh asked.

"Azula retook the Fire Nation." Zuko answered. "And in this vase are Mai's ashes."

"That's sad that your girlfriend has died." Iroh said. "Love is not set in stone, nor is it brief. Women may leave you, while others stay with you for life. Mai's death was unfortunate, but like the legend of the phoenix, she may rise from the ashes in the form of new love."

"Thanks, uncle." Zuko said.

"I am going to close the shop early for our funeral service." Iroh said. "Come with me."

At the same tree where Iroh held Lu-Ten's funeral, Zuko and Iroh dug a hole in the ground, and buried Mai's ashes in it.

"Farewell, my love." Zuko said, crying.

"Leaves from the vine." Iroh sang, but Zuko interrupted him.

"Wait, Uncle." Zuko said. "Let's sing it together." Iroh and Zuko began singing.

Leaves from the vine

Moving so slow

Like fragile tiny shells, sleeping in the cold

Brave warrior girl, rests in her home

Brave warrior girl, rests in her home…

Sad ending, isn't it? What's not a sad ending is if you review this chapter, because I would very much appreciate it. Also don't forget to favorite and follow as well. Mai would have loved it if you did that. Anyways, this is Mastervillain signing out!
