CH 11
When Sam woke up Cassie who got a tray in her hands greeted her.
"Morning, here is your breakfast"
"Morning, mm it smells good"
Sam sat up and arranged her pillows before Cassie put down her tray on her lap. There was a glass of water with two aspirins next to it, a glass of orange juice, a plate with toast, bacon, eggs and hash browns.
"Thanks Cassie, where's Janet?"
"Get our breakfast sorted out, I'll leave you to it" Cassie left the room.
Sam picked up the two pills and put them in her mouth, then she drank half a glass of water, before she started eating her breakfast. Few minutes later she finish drinking the last of the orange juice when there was a knock on the door and a head appeared from behind the door
"Morning, I brought you some coffee"
"Morning Janet, thanks for breakfast" Janet walked into the room and passed the coffee to her.
"Thanks"
"That's ok, but if we going to get pampered, you got fifteen minutes"
"What, I didn't relies what time it was"
Janet took the tray from her lap, before Sam got up, she finished her drink and put it on the tray before disappearing into the bathroom. Fifteen minutes later the three of them were in the car and on their way to the beauty parlour in town.
When they arrived, they were a few minutes early. Sam had a book and got the works on all three of them, first it was the mud bath, then shower, once finished there, they were all being massaged, they chose what oils they wanted on them, so they would smell great for the day as well have smooth skin.
Once they finished, they were having their facial done with wearing a green mask, they were laughing at each other when they saw what they look like, then a facial massage. Then they got their hair done; it was perfect timing cause the florist showed up with their bouquets and the roses for both Cassie and Janet's hair. Once done, they got their makeup put on. Once it was all done, it was time to head back to Janet place to get ready.
When they arrived, they all got ready, first they helped Sam get into her dress, once done there, Janet and Cassie helped one into their dresses when they finished there, Sam gave them both a gift each, it was a pearl necklace with earrings to match. They both love it. Once they got them on, there was a knock on the door; Cassie went to answer it.
"Jacob, come in we just about ready"
"Thanks Cassie, you look great in that dress"
"Thanks, what till you see Sam"
Jacob walked into the house, once the door was closed, he followed her into the living room.
"Mum, Sam, Jacob here" Cassie called out.
"How are you feeling?"
"Nervous, how about Sam, how is she feeling?"
"Same as you dad"
Jacob turned around to see Sam in her wedding gown, Janet was holding onto her train.
"Sam you look beautiful, and Selmac agrees with me"
"Thanks dad, Selmac, shell we, we don't want to keep the groom waiting"
"True, you two have been waiting for eight years for this," Cassie said.
They all left the house once they got their bouquets. The limo was waiting for them. Once in the limo, they were on their way.
Once Jack was ready, Daniel showed up, then they were off to the house. Twenty minutes later they arrived with guests there already. Jack spoke to some of them before heading around the back of the house where the couple who were living in the house at the time, were on the back veranda talking to some of the guests there.
Jack spoke to them and thanked them once again, he also looked around to see chairs set up everywhere and tables stacked up in one corner of the house afterwards. He spoke to some more people before it was time.
Everyone showed up and sat down. Jack, Daniel and Lou Ferretti were waiting up front. They both were wearing a blue suit like Jack without the medals and badges.
Ferretti got a medical discharge from the airforce when he lost part of his vision in his left eye from the Abydos mission, both Jack and him still remain friends since that day and since Charlie Kawaski death a few days later.
When the limo arrived, Teal'c opened the door for them and helped them out, then they followed him around the back of the house. Once everyone was in place, he gave the signal to start the music to one of the Lieutenants who was doing the music for the wedding, then it started.
Cassie went first, then twenty seconds later Janet walked down the aisle. As soon as she reached the front, the music changed and everyone stood up. Jacob who was wearing his dress blues that day. He walked Sam down the altar towards her future husband, when Jack turned around, his smile got even bigger, when she finally reached him everyone sat down.
Jacob put Sam hand into his, before sitting down next to Mark. The wedding was great, saying the vows to each other, exchanging rings, in the end the mister said that he could kiss the bride, which he did do. Once the papers were signed and every one was back in place.
"I'm pleased to introduce to you Mr and Mrs Samantha and Jack O'Neill" Everyone clapped and cheered for the happy couple.
Everyone got up and started talking to them before they went to the rose bush archway that is with roses around it. They were fully bloomed to have their wedding photos taken.
While that was happening, the caterers showed up with the food and a van showed up with all the drinks. The men started moving things around to get the tables sorted out with tablecloths on them and chairs around them as well as getting the serving tables sorted out as well.
An hour later all the photos were taken and Janet and Cassie carefully removed Sam train from the back of the dress and took her bouquet from her, they took them inside the house before joining every one there.
The bottles of champagne were pop open as well as non-alcohol champagne that they ordered. Everyone started getting a plate and started getting into the food and drink, while talking. Everyone congratulated both Jack and Sam.
Everyone had a wonderful time. Even though it was early afternoon and the wedding was at 1300 hours. Later that afternoon, everyone started leaving for some odd reason. Everyone was gone by 1700 hours. Jack noticed that Sam was getting worried and wondering what was going on. Even Cassie and Janet notice that everyone left.
"Mum what's going where did everyone go, what about the cake?"
"I don't know Cassie, just everything was ok then people started leaving" then Ferretti and Daniel showed up.
"Hey what's going on"
"Beats me, look at Jack and Sam, everything went perfectly for them and now this" then the limo driver showed up.
"Excuse me" they all turn to look at him
"Yes, is there something we can do for you?" Jack asked
"Yes can you please follow me, there is another limo waiting for you"
"What, we only book one limo"
"Sorry sir, but the other drive said that it was important, we just following order"
"Jack I smell a rat"
"Sam?" Everyone was looking at her.
"Jack think about it, every one left with in half an hour, and where is the wedding cake, now a second limo"
"You know Sam got a point, I've notice a lot of whispering going on at work in the past few days, we might as well find out what's going on"
"I'm game," Daniel said
"Well we might as well, shell we"
They all followed the driver to where the limos were. Jack and Sam got into one and the rest got into the other, then they were off. Half an hour later they turned into the Antlers Hilton hotel, when the limo stop and the door opened, they all got out.
"Well what now?" Jack said. A guy in a suit showed up.
"Excuse me Mr and Mrs O'Neill?"
"Yes that's us," Sam said
"Could you and your wedding party follow me please"
"Ok" Jack said.
Jack and Sam held on to one another hand as they followed the guy into the hotel. The others followed them. Few minutes later, they came to a huge double door, he knock on it twice and step out of the way when the doors open
"Surprise!" Everyone yelled.
They were all shocked, they walked in as everyone clapped, and they were still holding hands. They saw George wave them over, so they walk over towards him. Teal'c stop Daniel and the other.
"Follow me" he said, so they followed him to the bridal table. When Jack and Sam finally reached George, they went up on a small stage. He got a microphone in his hand.
"Jack, Sam, we knew that you wanted a simple wedding with family and friends. With what you two had in mind for afterwards, well on behalf of the president and the joint chief of staff, this is their wedding present to you both, your wedding breakfast" Every one claps. Tears were welling up in Sam eyes, Jack hug her
"They only want one request in return"
"What?" Jack said, George smiled at them both
"That they get a chance to dance with the bride later"
"I can handle that, only if I get a chance to dance with their wives later" Everyone laughs, including Sam.
They turned to see them at one of the tables where they all nodded. Then they all went and sat down at their table. Waiters showed up and poured them some champagne.
"Now that everyone is here, please raise your glasses, to Jack and Sam"
"To Jack and Sam" everyone said.
"And it's about time," Jacob yelled out, everyone laughing.
"For the ones who what about know about that comment, it has taken these to fine couple to get their act together after eight years dancing around each other. I knew from the moment they first met over eight years ago that they fell in love with each other, now after what they both been through together, I am please to be here to see them get married at long last, best to the future Jack, Sam"
He raised his glass to them both, which they did in return. Then the waiters showed up with the first course meal for the evening. Everyone enjoyed themselves, during the evening others that have known them for years stood up and said a few words about them.
Later on in the evening Ferretti got up, he told them about what happened when they first met, how Sam challenged Jack to an arm wrestling match and what happened afterwards. Everyone laughs at the different stories about them.
Janet told them about a virus that they caught which affected lots of people, she told them what happened in the locker room and what they were wearing at the time. Both Jack and Sam went red as. Everyone was having a wonderful time.
When it was time for cutting the cake, they had to wheel it out since it was an eight tiered cake and it was round with white icing over it. It had hearts and roses all over it and the bride and groom in an air force uniform on top of the cake. They both cake it and feed one another, everyone cheering them on.
Once done they both went to the dance floor when the music started. They were dancing to 'you're the one' . They both choose that song for their first dance together as husband and wife. They held each other close looking into each other's eyes, even kissing as well. Everyone watches them; lots of people there were taking pictures of them together. They were even talking while dancing.
"Sam you look beautiful today, how could I be so damn lucky I'll never know"
"perhaps it is your Irish charm"
"Could be, you know what is strange about being here at this hotel?"
"No, what?"
"This is where I booked us in for our wedding night a few days ago"
"you're joking?"
"Nope, I wonder how they found out or even realize it?"
"Who knows, but one thing for sure tonight is great, I'm dancing with the most beautiful women in the galaxy in my arms who I love and adore" Sam giggled
"No giggling Mrs O'Neill"
"Sorry Jack, it just that it reminds of something"
"Care to shear?"
"Oh the first time I went through the gate how I said that you would like me once you get to know me"
"Yeah, I remember, and I said, oh I adore you already" they both smiled and kiss
"You remembered"
"Of cause"
When the music stopped, they were kissing, then they stopped dancing but still kissing.
"Get a room" Cassie said on the microphone, causing everyone to laugh and also causing Sam and Jack to pull apart.
They dance with some others there, having a wonderful time. Then it was time for the bouquet and garter throwing. Daniel caught the garter and Janet caught the bouquet. During the night Sam had an idea, so she got Jack to one side of the room.
"Jack, have you got your white stone with you?"
"Yes, why?
"Why don't we go somewhere and beam ourselves to the gate room so the personal can congratulate us and it would give them a chance to see me in this dress before the changing of the shifts, since they couldn't make it to the wedding today"
"Ok, I'll be right back"
Then Jack went to let George know what they talked about, he gave him the nod, then Jack went to get Sam and they walked to another room, once in there, they beam to the ship, then down to the gate room. The staff that was in the control room was shocked to see who was down there. So Walter showed up and he was shocked to see them there.
"Sir, ma'am, what are you doing here?"
"We thought we would surprise the staff here since you guys couldn't make it to the wedding today and it gives me a chance to show off my bride here" Jack said grinning.
"Wow, I'll inform the personal before the shift changes sir"
"Ok, if they want to see us, they will have to come down here"
"Yes sir, colonel Cater, or is it O'Neill?"
"It's Carter"
"Oh ok, well congratulation, you look beautiful col Carter, I'll go and make the announcement"
"Thank you"
Then Walter left as some of the personnel showed up to congratulate them, including colonel Dixon who was in charge of the overnight shift, he was at the wedding. Then they heard over the PA system
"Attention personal, from the order of General O'Neill if you want to see the new Mrs O'Neill Come down to the gate room after your shift and bring your camera with you"
Sam giggled when she saw Jack looking at Walter shaking his head before turning back to look at her, then turning to talk to some of the staff there. They were there for half an hour. Some of the personnel took pictures of the happy couple and commented on Sam's dress before leaving home. Then other personnel that showed up for their shift went to see them also since they couldn't make it to their wedding.
They beam back to the room, then walk out to the party once again. Sam went to the ladies room before returning back to the party. They thank everyone including the joint chief of staff and the president for the wedding reception.
They were there for an hour before they left for their room for the night. They said good night to everyone before they left. They went to the reception area, so Jack could get the key to their room. Once they got it, they left to head to their room for the night.
