a/n: This will be the first chapter in a while to feature multiple POV's and the first one of a group of Ash's

So for clarification, I'll put their description beforehand.

For example, Rocket-Ash, Alola-Ash, and Adult Ash

For the kids, I'll use the region of origin, so the Ash in Kalos will be just JN-Ash

Or the Ash in Sinnoh will be Alola-Ash. It's just easier for me mentally that way

Adult Ash/Rocket Ash POV:

Hoopa's portal opened, and Rocket Ash and his counterpart fell on a beach located on the beautiful shores of Melemele Island.

"Well, that's just lovely," Rocket-Ash said as he dusted the sand off his fancy suit.

Adult Ash laughed, "What's wrong with sand? You'll need to change clothes anyways!"

Rocket-Ash looked dead serious, "I hate sand, it's coarse, it's rough and irritating, and it gets everywhere!"

Adult Ash rolled his eyes at the author, making a reference for the third chapter in a row.

Ash laughed, "Well, I'm sorry to hear that. Sand is lovely, especially on a beach!"

Rocket-Ash rolled his eyes, "It's hot out. I need new clothes, come on!"

Adult Ash ran forward and pointed towards Hau'oli City in the distance.

Adult-Ash started running, "Come on! We have until this evening!"

Rocket-Ash muttered under his breath, "And that can't come soon enough…."

At the clothes store downtown:

The Ashes walked in the store together, and the storekeeper waved and said, "Alola twins!" causing both Ashes to cringe.

As if I'd ever be related to him…. Both of them thought to themselves with an eye roll.

Adult Ash started browsing through some racks, "Well, we need disguises for tonight to sneak in the stadium and clothes that won't burn us up."

Rocket Ash looked through another rack and selected a white polo along with some khaki shorts and a baseball cap. A standard middle-aged dad outfit.

Adult Ash grabbed a button-up Alolan shirt with a cloud pattern some basketball shorts, and a baseball cap. A standard frat boy outfit.

The shopkeeper laughed when he saw them, "What? Are you guys buying disguises or something?"

The Ash's made eye contact and shook their heads.

Rocket-Ash made the first excuse, "Nah, just going to a party. My friend here has never been with a girl, so we're making sure he'll get all the attention."

The shopkeeper looked excited, "Oh, well, if that's the case, let's make sure he gets even more!"

Adult-Ash shot his counterpart a dirty look

The shopkeeper handed Ash a pink button-up shirt, "Don't be afraid of pink. If you can pull it off, it works great. Trust me, a very awesome and wise man who's also an amazing writer once wore a pink suit to an important date and landed up getting his first kiss that night."

Rocket-Ash shook his head, "No way, there's no way!"

Adult-Ash shrugged, "Whatever you say,, man,"

Ash took the pink button-up and tried it on. "Well, I gotta say, maybe pink is my color!"

Rocket-Ash rolled his eyes, "Whatever, let's get out of here…."

Adult Ash paid and walked out of the store, and what the two adults saw shocked them.

Adult Ash looked at Rocket stunned, "What do we do? Should we confront him in front of…. Wait,, why is he holding hands with Lille? What on earth?"

Rocket Ash looked annoyed, "Just hide. He won't recognize us. Just act casual; jeez you'd be an awful criminal…."

Ash shrugged, "How am I supposed to act casual when I'm wearing a pink shirt!"

Rocket Ash rolled his eyes and pushed Adult Ash behind a nearby plant.

Sinnoh Ash in Alola POV:

Ash was enjoying some ice-cream with Lille a few hours before his big announcement and inauguration ceremony as Alolan Champion. For now, he was just enjoying the cold day by having some ice cream.

Ash enjoyed his cone of ice cream, "So Lille, I gotta say, you know where to find some good ice cream! This is amazing! We should definitely come back here sometime."

Lille giggled, "My mom used to take us here when we were little! It was always my favorite place, so I decided to share it with my favorite person!"

Sinnoh-Ash blushed and reached across the table and squeezed Lille's sticky hand. "You're just the best Ash."

Sinnoh-Ash laughed, "If you want to see the best,, just look in a mirror!"

Adult Ash looked like he was freaking out watching the scene.

Rocket Ash looked annoyed, "What's the big deal? It's just Lille….oh, that's right! You're married with kids so it must be weird to watch yourself flirting with another girl!"

"It's not weird.. I mean, Lille is awesome, and all, and I'm sure she'd make a great girlfriend, but I believe in soulmates, so this presents a dilemma for me. Either Serena isn't my soulmate or soulmates don't exist. Either way, it's just weird to see a younger version of yourself with another girl after you're married with kids."

Rocket Ash jokingly snapped back, "Why not both?"

Adult Ash fired back, "Okay then if you want to play that game, what happened to your Serena because that got your attention."

Rocket Ash grew quiet for a moment before responding. "Before I joined team rocket, she was my fiance, but she was killed in an accident at a performance. I was so lost and heartbroken…. I made some bad friends, and when money for my mom's medical bills grew tight, I made a decision. I joined Rocket, and here I am today."

Adult-Ash looked apologetic, "Wow….I'm….I'm sorry."

Rocket Ash brushed it off, "I'm fine, but I think she'd approve more of what I'm doing right now, saving the world like I used to instead of stealing and hurting people."

Adult Ash gave his advice, "Well, no sense in beating yourself up over past events. Let's focus on the here and now."

Adult Ash then gagged when he saw his younger self kiss Lille from across the table. Rocket Ash just chuckled at the scene.

Later that day at the ceremony:

Ash looked around nervously. This was it, the moment he'd dreamed of since he was a kid. After brief ceremonies, he was finally to be presented to the crowd. Ash was ecstatic.

The announcer spoke into the microphone, "Introducing your first ever Alolan Champion! Ash Ketchum! Give him some love!"

The crowd went crazy, and he waved to people in the stands. All was good. This was it! This was where he was meant to be.

The rest of the ceremony that night was a blur. His pokemon were introduced and given medals for their strength. Kukui gave a nice speech about what an upstanding man Ash is.

And just when Ash was going to give a speech of his own, a massive portal opened over the stadium.

A massive steel pokemon flew out and gave a roar, and Ash trembled. He'd recognize that form anywhere! It was Dialga, the lord of time. And he was MAD!

Ash heard a voice in his head that terrified him, "You don't belong" the booming voice spoke.

Ash muttered, "Yeah, but I'm trapped so I can't do much about it,"

"You've destroyed part of the timeline. You will pay for your insolence, young one, and the price is your life!"

Ash looked horrified, "There must be another way! You control time, can't you just reset things?"

Dialga just gave a roar, and Ash got the memo. There would be no negotiations, not with an angry god. Ash reached for his belt.

"You think you can stand against the power of a god?"

"Well, I really don't have much of a choice considering the alternative…" Ash quipped

Dialga gave a roar and launched a massive dragon pulse that tore apart the arena. The crowd yelled and started to disperse.

Ash released his first pokemon, "Infernape, I choose you!"

Dialga looked at Infernape indifferently, "Give up mortal, you can't stand against the power of a god!" Ash heard the voice inside his head boom angrily

"Alright, Infernape, let's do this! Use a flare blitz!"

Infernape coated himself in fire and launched himself at Dialga, who didn't budge an inch from the force of the blow. Infernape kicked off Dialga and landed on the ground, unsure of what to do next.

The voice boomed in Ash's head, "You can't win young one, the longer I stay in this dimension the stronger I grow. Now it's my turn to attack!"

Dialga launched a flash cannon that decimated the remains of the ground, turning a nice battlefield into a minefield of potholes and jagged gravel from the remains of the ground.

Ash took in the power of Dialga and reached for his belt, "Well, if all bets are off, I guess I'll have to do this the hard way! Everyone, I choose you!"

Ash's whole Sinnoh squad emerged, ready to rumble.

"Alright guys let's do this! Torterra, use earthquake! Gliscor, fire fang! Infernape use flare blitz! Pikachu, volt tackle and Staraptor close combat! Garchomp, dragon rush!"

All of Ash's pokemon launched into battle, and Dialga gave a loud roar before launching a massive white and purple flash cannon/dragon pulse attack that made Ash's ears ring in pain. He felt his heart skip a beat in worry for his pokemon when something amazing happened. An orange blur intercepted the attack, and Dialga roared in pain.

"Deoxys, use a mirror coat!" a man in a black polo yelled, walking out onto the field with a smirk.

A mega Lucario ran out alongside a man in a pink button-up.

Both men looked oddly similar to each other, almost like they were twins or something. Sinnoh-Ash watched the two extra players join the game.

"Hello Ash," the man in the black polo said with a curt nod.

The other man just gave a wave.

"Who are you guys?" Ash said in confusion as Dialga recovered from the attack.

Adult-Ash cleared his throat, "Well, I'm Ash Ketchum, and he's Ash-Ketchum and we're here to save the multiverse."

"Ummmm what?" Sinnoh-Ash was very confused

Adult Ash looked at Dialga who was finally standing up. "Talk later, fight now. We need to take out Dialga fast before he can gain traction. We don't need to knock him out, only rough him up and force him to run."

"Easier said than done," Rocket-Ash sneered.

"Well….let's do this Ashes!" Sinnoh-Ash enthusiastically said

Rocket Ash threw out a fist, "Deoxys, use gravity! Make sure Dialga can't fly away! Now, attack!"

Sinnoh Ash gave a command, "Alright, Garchomp, attack!"

Adult Ash pointed at Dialga, who roared in anger, "Lucario, swords dance now!"

Dialga roared and fired a dragon pulse towards Garchomp, but Sinnoh Ash's Pikachu mixed the attack with a powerful thunderbolt so it had zero effect on Dialga.

Deoxys crashed into Dialga and wrapped his arms around the god's legs, and Garchomp smashed into Dialga at the same time.

The god screamed out and fired off a massive blue and black orb towards the sky.

Rocket Ash saw the attack fly up in the sky and explode, "That's a Draco meteor! We need to take Dialga out, and fast! Boy, have your Garchomp match with a meteor of his own!"

"Are you crazy? That'll destroy the arena!" Adult Ash yelled in fear as the purple orb soared up towards the sky

"Now or never!" Rocket Ash screamed

Sinnoh-Ash yelled out some commands, "Garchomp, use draco meteor! Infernape, use dig and get underground for a counter-attack!" Staraptor and Gliscor, get some altitude!"

Infernape buried a hole in the ground and vanished.

"Deoxys, now!"

Deoxys wrapped his arms and legs around Dialga, who struggled to move.

Just then, the meteor burst open. At least a thousand smaller shards burst out of it and flew towards the earth.

Adult Ash yelled out, "Lucario, knock as many as you can out of the sky with a flash cannon!"

Lucario fired off a white beam that decimated the shards of the rock falling from the sky.

Sinnoh Ash yelled out, "Torterra, knock some down with razor leaf. Pikachu do the same with thunderbolt!"

Ash's two pokemon started attacking the draco meteor, but they weren't perfect, and one shard even landed so close to Ash he could hear the woosh in his ear.

Meanwhile, Deoxys seemed to be strained as Dialga started struggling harder. Sinnoh-Ash started panicking, it was now or never.

Sinnoh-Ash pointed at Dialga, who was starting to break loose from Deoxys's hold, "Now, Infernape go and counter-attack with dig! Gliscor and Staraptor, smash from the sky!"

Dialga was slammed from the top and the bottom. The birds and the apes landed decisive blows on the god.

Dialga screamed in pain, and Deoxys used this as a chance to wrap his legs closer together.

Adult Ash smiled at the teamwork at play, "Let's end this now boys!"

He gave his command, "Lucario, use focus punch!"

Lucario focused on Dialga for a second before coating his fist in a white and blue aura and swinging as hard as he could, smashing straight into Dialga.

The force of the blow, coupled with the Deoxys rope wrapped around his feet, sent Dialga crashing to his side.

"Now everyone, attack the head!"

All of Ash's Sinnoh team rushed the fallen god, still feeling the force of Lucario's attack.

"You'll regret this mortals…" a voice boomed in all of Ash's heads before Dialga opened a portal beneath him and vanished.

Adult Ash just looked around, saw his two counterparts, an alien pokemon and a destroyed area, and started laughing.

"Oh man, I haven't had this much fun on a mission in years! Guys, we just beat up a god!"

Rocket Ash rolled his eyes, "Come on, I think we have some work to do… this isn't even close to over. And teenage acne over here needs to be filled in on the situation."

Sinnoh Ash looked offended, "Hey!"

Adult Ash just started laughing even harder, and even Rocket Ash started laughing.

Despite the situation, everything seemed like it'd be ok.
