Ginny Weasley looked up from her breakfast bowl of porridge as owls began to fly in with the day's mail delivery. She wasn't expecting anything on this Thursday, for Harry sent his letters on Sunday night, to arrive on Monday morning. It was the best possible start to the week in this, her last year at Hogwarts.

Next to her, Hermione nudged her, gesturing for her to look up. She did so, surprised to see Harry's owl flying towards her, then landing right in front of her.

"Hey Pip," she greeted, "another one already?"

Pippin held it's talon out and she took the letter from it, pushing the soggy porridge bowl over to it.

"Help yourself," she offered, eager to read the unexpected letter from Harry.

"I'm not sure that's appropriate food for owls," warned Hermione.

Ginny looked at the owl, even as she was opening her letter. "She seems to like it," she shrugged.

Her attention was now on the letter. It was short and to the point.

'You, Me. Hogsmeade, Saturday,' he'd written, with a big smiley face under his name.

Ginny smiled; he hadn't thought he'd be able to make the first Hogsmeade visit since she and Hermione had left on Septermber 1st, but somehow he'd found a way.

She folded the letter back into the envelope, a big grin on her face.

"What is it?" asked Hermione curiously.

"Harry's coming on Saturday," she said, beaming.

Hermione put her hand over Ginny's and squeezed. " I'm happy for you, I know how much you've missed him. Letters are nice, but there's nothing like having him here with you."

Ginny nodded, knowing Hermione completely understood and was going through the same thing with Ron.

"I better get to Muggle studies, see you at lunch," she told Hermione. To Pip she said, "you can go to the owlery for a rest, I'll send a reply later."

The owl hooted and flew off and Ginny went to her lessons, the smile on her face lasting all day.

Ginny raced down the path from Hogwarts to Hogsmeade, not wanting to waste one minute of her time with Harry. She ignored the slight snow, tightening the scarf wrapped around her neck.

At first she didn't see him, but then he stepped out from behind a tree and was there.

He was there.

She rushed to him, throwing her arms around him, aching to just feel him close to her again, after all this time. Immediately she felt calmer, safer...happier.

He hugged her hard too, as eager as she was. He had missed her terribly and was happy he had been able to finagle the time off to see her today. Until right this minute, he hadn't realised just how much he needed it. Needed her.

They slowly pulled apart, resting their foreheads against each other. Both their eyes were closed, simply savouring each other's presence.

They were all they needed.

Together, again.
