After 4 hours of half sleep, Harry got up with earlier next day.
He normally would sit on his bed mulling about the events from yesterday. But the events of the last few days were not ones he wanted to look back at.
Shaking his head out of such thoughts, with a quick jerk of his wrist he checked the time on his old battered watch, its face dial glass was broken and the rusty metal straps. The time it showed 5 in the morning his normal workouts lasted an hour and a half and then he could go and see Daphne afterward.
Getting out of his bed he opened his trunk fumbling through his clothes he found the golden egg from the first task. It reminded him once more about the tournament, he still had to figure out the clue and the task was only 4.5 weeks to figure it out.
He sighed muttering "one thing at a time" as he retrieved his workout clothes and closed the trunk. He made his way to the ground and started his workout
Fleur's room Bauexbatons Carriage
Fleur was happy for all that mattered.
For veela's their magic was constantly searching for one mate that was perfect for them and Harry was her perfect mate. She was surprised to hear about all the contracts and women around her. Her heart grew 3 sizes when she thought about Harry's first reaction after knowing about them was to tell her that he loves her.
She thought about the women who entered their lives, one was a scared soul with nothing but nightmares as memories, one was a woman driven by her passion to improve the world that she forget what love was and that fact alone drove her closer to Harry as they were both rediscovering what love is.
Another was the daughter of Merlin who in her own right was regal beauty but still a woman out of her time, one was Fleur's first friend who was more or less in the same condition as her as she was used by people cause of her abilities, one was Harry's first-ever crush let them alone first girl he saw in his life who was his age and talked to him.
Fleur paused as she thought about how Harry was staring at red-headed witches bossom yesterday. It was the first time she saw desire in his eyes even if it was only for a moment as he was too reserved to act on such desires which she knew all ladies had to work on bringing him out of his shell. But one thing was sure he was a man with patience.
Then last but not least was the brunette witch who was a broken person and reminded her of the horror she faced in her fourth year. She was not sure why but fate seemed to deem that Harry must have multiple wives.
But something that bothered her was the name the Hat said during the resorting ceremony "Dorea Black"
She met an elderly lady back in France who had the same name. After meeting Andi and Bella she was somewhat convinced they were related and if it was true then she must reunite her with her family but for now, she needed to get out of her bed for her morning workout.
It would take Dora some time to come back to the school but till then she told all three of them to keep their physical training up to the mark.
She got out of the bed opened her wardrobe and withdrew her training outfit which was Harry's favorite as it accentuated her ass. While in another one he couldn't help but stare at her bosom. It was also one she wore in the First Task and got ready.
Hufflepuff Girl's Dorm
Susan was coming to terms with her new relationship status quo.
She was more than happy to be finally with her crush and also was ecstatic to know he had a crush on her too. She remembered the taste of his lips from their kiss in the infirmary.
She turned bright red in the process, it was just the effect he had on her. That day his possessiveness cemented her trust in him to love all of them equally.
She was also scared about him as he was in a tournament that had a history of having its competitor die. Now she was more scared as she was more than little connected to Fleur as a friend and her sister's wife also being one of the Champions was making it much more difficult for her not to worry about them.
But there was nothing she could do but support them in every way she can.
The past few days were more than taxing for her and Fleur as they were adding one more woman to share the love of the man who was already spread thin between six of them but it was the right thing to do.
She was impressed by the way he took charge of the meeting later and knew that her little tease about being aroused which she truly was and after that she noticed that he was staring at her bosom.
She was more than pleased and proud that he desired her but knew they had to take their relationship slow. Now it was 5 o clock in the morning and she needed to get ready for a workout. She pulled out her training outfit which was a which were Black track pants and a Maroon loose top.
She met Harry at the entrance corridor only to ogle him as he was dressed in fit clothes.
Harry smiled as Susan walked down the stairs. He greeted her with a smile "Good morning, Sue"
This brought her out of her trance as she was so enamored by his physic and replied "He-Hey Harry, Good morning" turning a little red.
He smiled saying "Hey, so ready?"
Susan nodded so he continued "Okay then we will take it slow in the start and increase gradually"
Susan raised an eyebrow saying "I know Harry you are caring but I have been training with auntie so I can handle it"
He smiled saying "Okay Sue but if you want to take it down a notch just ask us okay?" she nodded and both of them headed toward the grounds.
They met Fleur at the gate of the castle and started their run around the Black Lake by the last lap Fleur was behind Harry and Susan. Both of them stopped to see why was she couldn't keep up and made their way to her.
Fleur was panting while her hand was on her knees. Harry asked her "Love, are you okay? you seem a bit tired today"
Fleur nodded and said "Oui, I am okay but I feel 'eavy for some reason" panting and gasping for air.
Susan looked at Fleur and spotted something in the pocket of her jacket which was shiny, "Fleur you might want to check your pockets I think there is something in there"
Fleur looked at her in confusion for a minute before she checked her pocket only to find something smooth and oval-shaped
Irritated she yanked the object only to find her Egg from first task and yelled "Merde! Comment puis-je oublier que c'etait dans ma poch!"
Both Harry and Susan looked at her chuckling. She snapped at the "Not funny gu-" before she could complete the Egg in her hand which was a shrunken down went to its original as the shrinking charm wore off. It startled all three of them and it tumbled on the ground rolling write into the laked
Harry was the first one to recover and leaped into the action by jumping in the lake to retract the egg. But as he entered the water he suddenly remembered he can't swim and started to kick his legs a hand trying to stay afloat.
Fleur and Susan watching the scene gasped. Fleur asked moving forward " 'e doesn't know 'ow to swim does he?"
Susan panicked beside her saying "No! He doesn't but we do let's go!" with that she jumped into the lake followed by Fleur.
After 15 minutes both of them dragged him to shore along with the egg.
Harry gasped and coughed up the water as he turned to face two very angry witches, Fleur snapped "You idiot what in ze world were you thinking?"
Harry meekly replied "I wasn't I just jumped"
Susan went off "You moron! What would have happened if we weren't there? That stupid egg is not worth your life! Bloody stupid head fast Gryff! Next time think about what would happen to us if you died not to mention others!" with that she was about to turn but he stopped her and pulled both Fleur and Susan into a hug "I know it was stupid of me but it was just instinct to save that egg also it had a benefit"
In the last line, both witches broke apart glaring and snarling at him "WHAT?"
The sheer annoyance in the tone sent a shiver down his spine. Harry sighed saying "Well I know the clue of next task."
Both of the witches were still glaring at him. Fleur said "You are an idiot 'Arry, we don't care about zat clue! Your life is more important zan zat"
Harry smiled nodding as he once again took them in his embrace saying "I know Loves and I am sorry about not thinking before jumping in but it resulted in discovering the clue so all is good"
Susan smiled a feral smile and stepped towards him and putting her hand on his chest said: "Oh yes all is good for now but next time you Harry James Potter, do something like that I will hex you to next week, Understand?"
Harry simply gulped nodding in compliance. Seeing his reply Susan smiled and gave him a chaste kiss on the lip saying "Don't scare us like that ever again, okay" He nodded kissing her back saying "I will try" taking her into one arm hug and opening free one wide open gesturing Fleur to join them.
Fleur came to him and threw her arms around him. Harry noticed all three of them were shivering from the cold. With trembling lips, he suggested "Ladies I think we should get to somewhere warm cause all three of us are shivering, Hagrid's?" receiving nods from both they started towards the Hagrid's hut
Once they reached Harry was about to Knock on the door but Hagrid opened it before he could. Half-Giant stood confused "Harry, what yer lot doin her'e this early?"
Harry with trembling lips said, "wel-l Hagrid we would like to come in if you don't mind it's all cold and we are all soaking wet."
Hagrid's eyes widened as he stepped aside as he invited them inside "Of course sorry bout that, Come in! Come in!" waving his hand. Three teens entered and sat on the couch in front of the fire.
Hagrid gave them blankets and cups of hot lemon honey tea before seating on his large armchair and asked "So Harry what are were you doing so early and how are you all wet, also how is yer new friends?" he turned to Fleur and added "its nice to meet you, Ms. Delacour"
Fleur smiled at this replying "Bonjour, Mr. Hagrid it's nice to meet you."
Harry smiled at his first-ever friend as he explained the reason for them being wet.
The Half-Giant roared in laughter as he stood up saying "You lot can stay here I need to go a feed some hippogriffs, see you lot later" with that he left.
Three teens were sitting in comfortable silence before Harry broke it saying "So want the clue, Fleur?"
The French champion smiled and said "Oui, Harry I think we can hear it now" He smiled starting
"Come seek us where our voices sound,
We cannot sing above the ground,
And while you're searching ponder this;
We've taken what you'll sorely miss,
An hour-long you'll have to look,
And to recover what we took,
But past an hour, the prospect's black,
Too late, it's gone, it won't come back."
As she heard Fleur gave a puzzled expression for a moment before her eyes widened and she exclaimed "MERDE! Ze second task is underwater"
He nodded saying "Yeah I figured that one out while drowning as in water we can hear it but above on the ground we can't."
Susan gave a thoughtful look saying "So you have to go underwater and that to for an hour" he nodded as she continued saying "Oh Me….. Right Rose's father can't say that anymore! But still, multiple issues with you have to tackle first how will you breathe for a whole hour? Second, you don't know what you have to find?"
She paused as her eyes widened as she exclaimed " Harry you don't even know how to swim and there is only a month left for the task!"
Harry again nodded saying "Well I have you two plus Dora who can teach me to swim"
He added saying "Of course, other two issues remain out of them only one is in our control so let's try to figure out breathing issue while training to swim"
Fleur nodded and said "I zink we should head back cause zese clothes are still wet and we will catch a cold if we don't change"
Susan nodded adding "I agree also we can have breakfast early after that we can go and see Daphne"
Harry nodded saying "Yeah let's go I also don't want to miss the start of our Prank war, bloody hell I am giddy about it" as jumped a little in his seat.
He was swatted on the shoulder by Susan "Language, Harry!"
He winced saying "Ouch! You are the Hufflepuff version of Hermione only with red hair"
This caused peals of laughter for the trio they exited the hut and made their way to Beauxbatons Carriage to drop off Fleur who before climbing the steps gave Harry a deep kiss saying "See you for the breakfast"
The other two made their way to the Castle and parted at the stairs after kissing each other. Soon Harry reached the dorms and took to the shower. In the shower, he turned the tap on only to feel the warm water touch his cold skin and soothe him. He closed his eyes as he took a moment to center himself before the day began.
He had three things in his mind one was to survive this death tournament, help Daphne recover from her trauma, and build stronger relationships with his other ladies. With that, he completed his shower and made his way to the dorm.
After getting ready and irritated from his former best friend snoring Harry made his way out of the dorm only to find Hermione and Neville waiting for him in the common.
He was surprised "Hey guys ready for breakfast?"
Neville shook his head saying "Nope, breakfast is normal but Twins making a fool out of Malfoy now that's something to look forward to."
"Well it's all of us looking forward to it!" all three of them turned to see Angelina, Alicia, and Katie at the bottom of the girl's dorm.
Harry smiled saying "Okay then let's go it's showtime"
Hermione jumped saying "Oh I can't wait"
Alicia nodded "Then let's get moving guys" with that all of the left the common room and made their way to Great Hall
When they reached the entrance of the hall and entered only to see the hall was just starting to fill with the students. They took their places in on the Gryffindor table beside the Twins who were looking at the door like a predator waiting for his prey.
Harry was conflicted between enjoying the destruction of Malfoy and leaving as fast he could for the infirmary to take care of Daphne. With a sigh, he decided to wait until Fleur arrives then they both will go together after finishing breakfast.
So the group anxiously waited for Scion of House Malfoy. As they were looking at the door Susan came through with Hannah beside her and flashed a brilliant smile at him one which he returned. Neville nudged him in the ribs saying "Subtle mate, very subtle" embarrassing him and simultaneously earning laughter from Hermione while confused looks from all others.
All of them started with their breakfast. It was a few minutes later that Draco came in the hall Pansy and Millicent flanking behind him. Twins grinned, Fred started
"Well George, our prey is here brother mine"
"True brother, now we-"
"- wait for our first ever attack-"
"-in our prank war on the bigotry of the"
"-one named great pounce known as-"
"-Draco Malfoy" both together
The quidditch team, Harry, Hermione, and Neville, laughed at the antics of their beaters. Harry was excited to see the start of what Twins had in store for the git. He saw Susan and Hannah also craning towards the Slytherin house table.
All of them saw as the Draco sat in the middle of the table and while Pansy and Millicent as usual took seats beside him. All of them started to fill their plates with Porridge and Goblets with pumpkin juice.
Draco ate some spoons of porridge and then took a sip from his goblet. Nothing happened. All of them looked Twins who grinned at them saying
"Patience is a virtue also-"
"-We don't want to be caught do we now, so-"
"-every prank will be delayed to effect at 3 at night-"
"-that way no one doubts us since we were not in his dorms-"
"- so our morning breakfasts are going to be entertaining because of-"
"-Your's truly, also they will be pretty irregular cause following a pattern-"
"-will make his caution and we can't have that can we now, Fred?"
"No, George we can't so wait till tomorrow to see our piece of art"
Katie watched in awe and said "you two are more Slytherin than that bloody git" Twins grinned saying "the hat wanted us to be"
"But we decided it was best to keep the family tradition going-"
"-but more than that we are pretty scared of our mum-"
"Who would have gone ballistic should we have been in Slytherin-" George shuddered at the thought.
Harry smirked saying "Well smart choice mate" and sighed as he finished his food and stood up only to see Fleur enter the hall heading towards him.
He smiled as he kissed her saying "Had Breakfast in the carriage?" as he wiped a little smudge of chocolate from the corner of her mouth is the thumb. She turned red in embarrassment nodding. She always prided herself to be more graceful and elegant but today being caught by her boyfriend in the rare chance of being a little careless, she was atomic red.
Harry chuckled saying "You look cute when embarrassed" which didn't help to reduce the redness of the French witch's face but increased it which made him laugh as he took her hand saying "Come on let's go and check on Daphne"
She was flustered to answer so again she nodded
Before they head out of the hall Harry looked over to Susan and gave 'are you coming now or later?' Susan understood it shook her head and mouthed 'Later' Harry nodded and flashed a smile at her as he left with Fleur beside him.
As they were walking toward the infirmary Fleur noticed that he looked as if he was nervous "Ma Cheri, what is it? You look nervous"
He sighed saying "Yeah a little it's just that I don't know much about her like I do about you or Susan or even any other woman in my life. We had some time together to at least start to know each other somewhat and I want to do the same with Daphne but these first few days are always so awkward"
She gave a smile asking "Oh really first few days are awkward cauzze you were not awkward when we met?"
Harry chuckled saying "First, love we did not meet but we ran into each other and you took my breath away. Second, I am not sure why but with you I never felt the need to keep my guard up and the same goes with all of my future brides. Third I love you all" he paused and said "I am blessed Fleur I have 7 witches who are beautiful and intelligent but above all, they all care for me. You are one I chose to be with for my life, Susan is someone who I would have ended up with if it wasn't for you meeting me at cup but fate and magic made it so I end up with her anyway, Dora is someone I thought was someone who had that way about going about life in a fun-loving way that I also admired and wanted to live that way" he smiled while staring in nothing but quickly his smile turned to the pained expression
"Bella is one I am most concerned about she lived through hell that my life at Dursely's is pale against. She lived what I saved you and Daphne from many times over. She doesn't tell me but I can tell the way she was weary of touch from any man but me. I have seen her cry spontaneously without any reason. I have multiple times put her back to sleep after her nightmares." As he was describing all this a silent tear came down his face.
"I can't believe how she survived all that. But she did she is a survivor and what she survived was more than enough. Every single death eater that raped her will die and I will make sure of that. Those monsters will never haunt her dreams ever again cause I will incinerate every last one of them."
Fleur watched in pure awe as her Boyfriend's magic swirled around him in varied colors just like before. She was aroused to such a level she was barely controlling her veela side from jumping him. She smiled at the sheer passion and love he had for her sister's wives. One thing was clear to her, anyone who messes with Harry's family will regret it many times over, shaking her head she asked him "And Amelia?"
Harry calmed down with a smile back on his face "She is…. special, she knows me better than I do. She is someone I trust and care for her just like all of you. She is beautiful and being with her is a blessing but I would not cross her when she is in her head of DMLE mode." The last statement made Fleur chuckle.
Both of them entered the infirmary and made their way straight to Daphne's bed. Beside her was Tracey, both were having their breakfast and talking.
Harry greeted them saying "Hey Girls"
"Hey Harry" both of them automatically, it took moment for Daphne to realize who it was. When she did she blushed crimson red cause only in the morning did she remember what Harry did to save her life.
He noticed she was little red so he stepped forward and put the back of his hand on her head to check temperature saying "Daph are you okay? You look little red, should I get Poppy?"
The brunette now turned an even darker shade of red. Her mind went 'Daph, he called me Daph but I don't feel angry hearing it from him why? And why do I like it!'
Her thought was broken when she heard him call her once again. She answered "I am fine Harry it's just a little exhausted" trying not to sputter in front of him as best as she can.
Harry smiled saying "Of course, you are exhausted," he said adjusting cushions at her back so she can rest comfortably. "You need to rest, so finish your breakfast then I will escort you to your new House Common room so you can rest okay," he said while rubbing her back.
Daphne couldn't help but tear up at the warmth and concern showed to her by a boy until tomorrow was a stranger. Now he was her savior who not only made sure she was safe after the incident but also was comforting her. Her eyes teared up and in a cracking voice she replied "Thank you"
Harry saw the tears and said "Don't it's what I want to do Daph as I said before and you permitted me. So I am doing what I love to do to a person I care about. So no need to thank me now we can talk and eat at the same time. So eat" he gestured toward the food in front of her.
Daphne with a smile started to her breakfast. Harry turned to Tracey asking "How are you doing?"
The girl in question smiled "I am fine Harry just a bit exhausted same as Daphne here but overall, fine. Thanks."
He smiled turning his attention back to Daphne asking "Daph did you write your parents?"
Daphne's smile vanished as she looked at him and said "I didn't, I don't want them to do something rash. My father loves me a lot but he…. Can't do anything against Malfoy he is too powerful politically. But if he hears something like this happen he will try and fail which will end our house. My family is my life Harry and I won't have them die for me that's why I used the spell"
Harry gave a weak smile and shifted beside her wrapping an arm around her shoulder saying "If you think you don't want to then I have no right to tell you otherwise. I know what it is like to lose your family. But when the time comes you have to tell them and when you are ready I wi…"
He was cut off by Fleur saying "we, we will be by your side" he looked at Fleur smiling and nodded "yes we will always."
Daphne smiled as she thought 'Yes everything will be okay if he is with me then I will be okay as she finished the last few bites of her breakfast.
Harry clapped his hand saying "Okay ready to see your new house?"
Daphne gave a smile saying "I am but I don't know what others will react like, after all, I was a Slytherin before"
He waved his hand saying "No worries aside from royal git named Ronald Weasley everyone else are somewhat reasonable and friendly, it will be rough for a few days in the start but okay afterward"
Daphne smiled at his excitement about her being in his house but frowned a little as she asked "but what about my robes? They are all in Slytherin colored"
Fleur replied "We can ask Madame McGonagall to transfigure zem as its only 2 days to the weekend, zen we can go to Diagon Alley wiz Dora"
Daphne nodded "Okay then let's go to Prof. Mcgonagall first then to the common room"
She got out of the bed, still a little weak and dizzy he helped her to be stable. He turned back to Tracy asking "What about you Tracy? Professor Flitwick coming to show you to the common room?"
Tracy shook her head saying "Nope my half brother is coming in a few minutes"
He gave a confused look asking "Half brother?"
Tracy smirked saying animatedly "Oh! Right it was the same git you almost terrified to death for asking your girl to Yule Ball"
It took a moment then his eyes widened "Roger Davis!"
Tracy nodded saying "Yep that one, we are only acquainted not siblings or even friends for that matter, he is git through and through."
He chuckled saying "That he is, well see you later."
With that, he turned to Daphne offering her his hand which she took hesitantly while Fleur took another and the trio left the infirmary.
Harry led them to the Gryffindor tower, standing in front of the portrait hole he was about to speak the password but he looked at nervous-looking Daphne "Want to go to McGonagall so she can introduce you to the house?"
Daphne looked at him and said "I..I think that would be better she can also transfigure my robes while she is there" with that they turned towards the direction of McGonagall.
Reaching the office Harry knocked on the door. A moment later the mild aged Scottish women open the door asking "Yes Mr. Potter, Ms. Greengrass, and Ms. Delacour how can I help you this morning?"
Harry was about to answer but Daphne cut him saying "Professor I would like you to introduce me to my new house as it would tone down some animosity due to me previously being in Slytherin also if would please transfigure my robes to match with a new house that is till I can get new robes this weekend"
The Deputy headmistress nodded saying "Very well Ms. Greengrass" with that she came out of the room and led the trio toward the common room. She spoke the password and four of them entered it was fairly early in the morning and classes were to start after 2 hours so after breakfast most of the house was in the common room.
"House of Gryffindor has a new addition, Daphne Greengrass." There were murmurs around the Common room, Ron stood up and asked "She is a Snake! Why is she here?"
"She is here cause she was sorted here Mr. Weasley and the reasons for her being resorted are her private business and be warned I will not tolerate anyone bothering her about it, am I clear?" No one dared to utter a word everyone held their breath until McGonagall led Daphne up the stairs of the Girl's dorm.
After a few minutes, Professor returned with Daphne in Gryffindor robes behind her. "I hope you all heed my warning and welcome our new member with the warmth we are known for" with that, she left through the portrait hole.
All of the house members stared at Daphne. Harry noticed her squirming under the gazes of all the Gryffindors as he was about to move he saw Hermione move up to her saying "Don't be like that they will get over it in a couple of days"
Daphne was relieved as someone was talking to her and smirked as she asked "You sure about that?" eying Ron who was huffing in the corner.
"Well, some more than others or maybe never but most of them will" with a sigh Hermione said shaking her head.
Daphne chuckled and said "It's okay one person I need is with me so I don't need others and especially not ones like Ronald Weasley" at this both girls laughed
From distance, Harry sighed in relief saying "Okay now I am relaxed"
Fleur smirked saying "Well don't because you still need to learn swimming and figure out a way to breath underneath ze water"
He looked at her with wide eyes saying "Can't catch a break can I ?"
Chuckling Fleur interlaced her fingers with his and rested her head on his shoulder "Oui, you can't, we will get zrough zis and come out ozzer end. Also, Dora is coming tomorrow so be ready"
"She is a slave driver," He said sighing.
