The next day at school was certainly interesting for Izuku, as he was waiting for his father to come get him for training suddenly Nemuri walks in dressed in her hero costume before announcing that he would be picking his hero name today, Nemuri tossed Izuku a whiteboard and a marker and told him to take his time coming up with a name that he likes and she would check it over to make sure it would be a suitable name to use in the field.
So Izuku took his time choosing his name but obviously Izuku has very bad taste in names according to Nemuri, Izuku despite his father being extremely anti media wants to be a daylight hero so he will need a name that's catchy to make a good impression on the people he saves, he first wrote down the name Teleguy but immediately erased it after realizing how bad it sounded, he finally settled on the name Storm but according to Nemuri there was already a hero with that name. Finally Izuku decided on a name that both himself and Nemuri agree with something that would ignite hope into the citizens of Japan but fear into the hearts of villains everywhere The Telekinetic Hero: Wave it was a good name in Izuku's opinion, catchy and a reference to the use of psychokinetic waves which power his telekinesis.
After a period of what seemed like hours to Izuku in choosing his hero name Izuku finally thought he was going to get some time to train and maybe relax more after the sports festival but unfortunately it was not to be as he was immediately handed a ginormous stack of papers from Nemuri, she explains "These are the internship offers that you've received you have to look these over and turn in your decision by the end of the day today." Izuku sighs before setting to work on these internship offers, he received many offers in the top ten including the rising star currently ranked at number 4 Hawks who he remembered was in his dad's class that one day when he was introduced, he also received an offer from the number 2 hero Endeavor and the number 10 hero Ryukyu. What surprised him tho was an offer from the current number 7 hero Mirko, Mirko he remembers is Rumi Usagiyama the first ever student he fought from his dads class when he was younger. Izuku decided he would take his time deciding on which hero he would decide to intern with, maybe ask his dad who he thinks Izuku would benefit the most in learning from.
Walking to the teacher's lounge hoping to find his father Izuku is instead met with the sight of the one and only demon girl, Nejire Hado, followed closely by Mirio and Amajiki "Hey there Izuku! Do you have your cat with you today? I could really use some of her cuteness to cheer me up!" Izuku replied "Sorry Nejire, now that shes grown a little bit more I feel better about her being alone at home so I'm trying to let her stay at the house more and more to try and avoid any attachment issues that could come up if she was with me every second of the day" Nejire pouted for a bit before agreeing that it made sense, Izuku turned however when he heard Mirio address him "Hey Izuku, great job dominating the sports festival! We got to watch your matches and I gotta say that was some impressive power you got there, I'd love to spar with you once and a while if you wouldn't mind?" Izuku smirks a little before replying "Of course, I always love a good challenge" Mirio smiles before walking off shouting over his shoulder "Can't wait!".
When Izuku finally makes it to the teacher lounge he is met with the sight of his father wrapped in his yellow sleeping bag on the floor of the room, walking over to the bag he rolls his eyes before giving the bag a light kick, a small 'oof' originates from the sleeping bag before a face that could only be described as done with the world pokes out. "Oh hey Izuku what hero name did you decide on" Izuku goes on to tell his father all about the process in figuring out what name he wants to use, Shota tells Izuku that he himself also had a similar issue in choosing his name and needed the help of his friends to help him choose a name, finally they start to converse about what heroes would be best for Izuku to intern with Izuku tried to look for anyone with a similar quirk to his however despite how common telekinesis quirks are they are usually lacking in power and are not particularly useful for heroics, Shota suggested a long range type hero to help Izuku work on his ranged attacks where Izuku also thought learning to use his telekinesis in conjunction with physical attacks could be particularly useful for him as well, after much deliberation they finally decided on the perfect hero for Izuku to intern with.
AN: So I'm having a bit of difficulty picking a hero for Izuku to intern with so if you have any ideas on heroes who could help Izuku become a better hero please let me know, also because school has started up again updates may be further apart than normal, Thank You
