I gave my friends quite the scolding the morning before. After they apologized quite profusely for not listening about the drinking and saying embarassing things I forgave them.

I'm always expected to be polite and kind by everyone I know. I rarely get angry because it's just a waste of energy.

Get enraged too much and you're emotionally vulnerable like Evelyn. Show too little and people think you're careless. Like me.

Thanks to my mother and girlfriend though I can flesh out a little and try to be more open with my feelings.

My mom is always there to listen and with Eevee I can share a side I don't show to everyone. I'm so lucky to have them both beside me.

In the past I always wanted to move away from this to get away from my dad. Now I am no longer afraid of him because I have pokemon to care for.

And I wouldn't have it any other way.

I love everyone in my life. They are my real family.

I thought as I finished my bar pullups and let go to check the time on my phone. I rushed to the shower when I saw the time.

"Great! Eve is coming in 15 minutes, and I'm all sweaty and not close to ready yet."

I tossed my shirt on top of the ever growing pile of dirty clothes. I sniffed it for a moment and nearly gagged at the bad smell.

Note; Wash clothes after the date. If I don't come home too late that is.

I jumped in the shower and soaked myself scrubbing as fast as possible.

"Gotta smell good for her. And I promised to get her a sundae. I could take her to my old workplace for one."

I had to quit working at the icecream shop shortly after I started going to college for more study time. Money was pretty tight for a while even with my leftover savings and what I could use from college checks for textbooks.

Mom started sending me an allowance and I hated having to rely financially on her. But she said she wanted to do this since she doesn't get to do much for anymore so I couldn't say no.

"Thanks mother."

I said to myself as I finished my shower and started toweling my wet fur off. How much time do I have left?

I checked my phone to see a missed text from Eve.

To Sylveon:

Something came up last minute at the flower shop. Going to be running late. Do you mind waiting 20 extra minutes for me?

I sighed in relief before I responded back.

To Eve:

That's alright babe. I'll wait for you.

To Sylveon:

Thanks, see you around 12:35?

To Eve:

Yes ;)

To Sylveon:

Heehee. I won't take long. Promise.

To Eve:

Alright see you at 12:35

I texted her before I set my phone down and continued drying myself. I picked a navy blue, short-sleeved collar shirt.

I flattened the fur that was sticking up with my paw. I put on some deodorant and sprayed myself with some Fairy Musk cologne.

Smells sweeter than you would expect and leaves a nice aftersmell after you leave a room.

I looked at my reflection in the mirror and I think I look rather handsome.

I started thinking about how I was in a steady relationship now.

Me with a girlfriend? Who would have thought? I'm still surprised sometimes.

Well now that she is I will do my best to keep her. She's one in a million.

"12:15? I guess I can go wait for her now."

*College enterance

*12:21pm

I sat on a bench in the shade watching the pokemon walk by.

Was that a Salamence? Wow cool.

Another Sylveon but a regular one.

A Venusaur. A Tropius. A Lucario.

A Roselia. A Steelix. A-

"Wait what?"

I saw Roselia and she was walking towards the bench where I sat.

"Hi Sylveon."

"Hi?"

"Are you waiting for someone?"

"Yes my girlfriend."

"Sylveon stop lying."

I paused and raised my eyebrow in confusion.

"What?"

"You don't have to be shy by telling me you have a girlfriend. Just be more direct with me."

"But I do have one."

"Really? How old is she then?"

"She's 13."

"And how old are you?"

"19?"

"Well I'm 23."

"That's nice."

I looked away feeling uncomfortable as she sat next to me.

"Well why don't you try dating someone closer...to your age..."

She said as she slid closer to me and touched my shoulder.

"Don't touch me!"

I shouted as I pulled away and started walking away.

"Sylveon don't run...you know you want to...be with me..."

I froze as I realized she was using Attract on me. I scrunched my teeth and did my best to resist.

She had the audacity to put her arms around me.

"Let. Go. Of. Me."

"Aww but I want you..."

My vision blurred slightly as my mind was trying to be filled with thoughts of Roselia being beautiful.

Eevee hurry and help me out of this.

I started to sweat and scrunched my fists even tighter and started drawing blood in my palms.

She walked in front of me and placed her rose on my cheek. I kept my head up as she tried to force me to look back at her.

"I. Love. My. Girlfriend. I. Will. Never. Do. That. To. Her. And. I. Will. Never. Like. You."

I said as angry tears started coming down my face.

"Why are you being so stubborn when you can just give into it?"

"Someone. Help. Me."

"Sylveon?"

Roselia undid the Attract after she heard Eevee call out to me, but she didn't move her roses holding me.

Eevee was there much to my relief. But from her point of view it must have looked like we were about to kiss.

I was hoping she wouldn't see it that way as I pushed Roselia away from me.

"Eevee! It's not what it looks like!"

"Oh is this your girlfriend? Sorry brat but you're too young for Sylveon. Why don't you go and play with blocks or something?"

"SHUT UP! You tried to force Attract on me! Stay the hell away from me!"

Eevee approached us and I thought she was furious at me.

"Baby I never did anything! I would never do this to you! Please don't leave me!"

Eevee walked straight to Roselia and slapped her across the face.

"Stay away from my boyfriend. I heard part of your conversation and I know you were trying to force him to like you! Try doing that to him again and I'm kicking your ass! And I'm no brat I'm his queen and you're worst f*cking nightmare!"

She turned towards me and I thought she was going to yell at me. When she suddenly tripped me, caught me just before I hit the ground, and kissed me.

I swear my heart went up my throat in that moment.

Did I just become the damsel?

She pulled away and smiled down at me.

"Don't worry baby. I know you're loyal to me. Are you alright?"

"Eevee I...Wow. I'm glad you're here now."

I said as I stood up in front of her and hugged her tightly.

"Oh Sylveon. I was worried."

"I was pretty scared to be honest. I'm glad you came here to literally save me."

"Well it was time to save you for once."

"You always save me Eevee."

"Just text me next time something like this happens. Alright?"

"I gurantee it Eve my Queen."

"Oh you don't have to call me that. I just wanted to tell that B*TCH OFF FOR HARASSING YOU!"

She said as she glared at Roselia who finally ran away.

"Well I know you liked it."

I said as I suavely picked Eve up and carried her bridal style.

"It does have a nice ring to it."

"Shall we go then my queen?"

"Anywhere my king wants to today."

"Well in that case how about pizza?"

"Great!"

"And afterwards I'll get you that sundae I promised you."

"Sounds like a date."

"But we are going on one silly."

"I know we are. I just wanted to say it again."

"Also what you did just now was insanely attractive. I'm glad I get to spend the day with you, so I can show you just how much you mean to me."

"Let's go then!"

"Yeah?"

"YEAH!"

"ALRIGHT LET'S GO!"

Eve shrieked happily as I ran full speed while carrying her to town.

"You're wearing the hoodie you took a picture of in before! It looks great on you!"

"Hahaha thank you baby!"
