Attacked-Ch 25

Over the next several days Penelope's body continued to heal and it wasn't long before she was told that she could take self defense classes now, she decided to keep it quiet from everybody outside her family, even her guards wouldn't know what she was doing. Penelope and Derek would meet in the backyard early in the morning before her guards would come to start their shifts.

JJ and Emily would come over and bring the boys so that they could play with Clooney and Mudgie while they too took Dereks self defense classes for a refreshers course. A fact that thrilled not only JJ and Emily but Penelope too, she loved having them there with her, it seemed to make things a lot easier for her.

Derek would break down each step for her and then practice it with JJ and Emily so she could watch and then when she felt comfortable she would try the moves with him. Derek was very impressed with how fast she was catching on to the moves, she was turning out to be quite the student and passed his classes with flying colors.

Jack and Henry would often stand in the back and practice the moves as the others would do them, Penelope couldn't help but grin as she watched them flop their arms and kick their little legs out. They were actually quite good for their ages and they were in awe of their aunt Penelope who was currently in the middle of flipping Derek over her shoulder.

When she was done Jack and Henry clapped their hands and said, "way to go aunt P" in unison, Jack then said, "the ninja turtles got nothin on you aunt P" and Henry said, "yeahhhhh, you rock" as the boys high fived her". Penelope looked at Derek and said, "did you hear that hotstuff, I rock", he rolled his eyes and said, "yes, yes I heard and I happen to agree with them you totally rock" as he placed a quick kiss on her cheek.

JJ looked down at her watch and said, "we've got time for a soak in the hot tub before we head out for the day", Penelope said, "ohhhh that sounds nice and a great way to let our aching muscles rest". Derek said, "alright ladies you are excused and baby girl that concludes your classes, you did an amazing job, you were a fast learner and one of my best students ever", she blushed and said, "awwwww thanks hotstuff but you made learning easy and fun and I thank you for that".

Derek said, "not a problem, Penelope snapped her fingers and said, "ohhhh I've got a good idea", Emily said "what's that PG"?, Penelope said, :"if the team isn't called out of town on a case how about tonight we have a movie night with pizzas and popcorn and just have fun tonight"?, the girls looked at each other and then the others in the room and then back at Penelope as JJ said, "sounds good, we'll run that by the guys".

Penelope said, "I can hardly wait, a night together with everybody eating and having fun, now that sounds great", Derek said, "yes, yes it does" as he turned around and said, "alright ladies you are dismissed". Jack and Henry waved at their mommies and their aunt P as they chased off after their uncle Derek, they loved spending time with him just as much as he loved spending time with them.

A few minutes later the girls were all soaking in the hot tub, the water felt amazingggggg and after the workout they had just had they sure needed it, they all laid their heads back against the tub and sighed happily. JJ said, "so how does it feel to know that you completed your classes"?, Penelope said, "I feel amazing, it feels great to know that I can defend myself if I need to, I feel such power, a feeling that I'm finally getting my life back"

The women grinned and Emily said, "you've been through a lot but it's clear that you are doing better in every aspect", Penelope nodded her head and said, "thank you and just think when they catch the sick freak that hurt me and the others I can finally go back to work as the all seeing and all knowing oracle" causing JJ and Emily to grin.

JJ said, "well you have been missed for sure and don't forget that we are all here for you whenever you need us", Penelope smiled at her friends and said, "thanks girlies, i love you". Emily blew out a deep breath and said, "and we love you" and JJ nodded her head yes in agreement and said, "that we do" and the girls soaked for a few minutes longer before they got out, dried off and changed clothes so that they could get their day of paperwork started at the BAU.

Penelope had offered to keep the boys with her for the day and they happily and eagerly agreed because the boys wanted to stay and spend some time with their aunt P and they would be back this evening for their movie and pig out fest so they agreed to let the boys stay at casa Rossi for the day with their aunt P.

Over the past few days Bryan had been busy working as an agent through the day and following women that reminded him of Penelope at night and he had been lucky enough to find 2 more victims which brought is total up to 10. With each attack Penelope had been trying harder and harder with her defense classes, she wanted to be ready just in case that bastard came back around to her again.

Penelope and Derek spent the day out in the backyard playing with the boys and her four legged bodyguards Clooney and Mudgie and it was hard for Fran to tell who was having the most fun as she joined everybody for brunch on the patio. Bryan grinned as he watched everybody playing and having fun, as he watched Penelope play with the boys he could see a future where Penelope was his wife and the other of his children.

He sighed as he imagined her as Mrs. Bryan Jennings, he was pulled from his thoughts as Fran invited him over to join them for brunch, an invitation that he happily accepted. After they were finished eating the rest of the day flew by and soon it was time for Bryan to be relieved and for JJ, Emily and the others to arrive for their night of pigging out, laughing, having fun and watching movies was to begin.
