Attacked-Ch 26
Penelope was so excited as Derek sat down on the couch beside her, Clooney and Mudgie were laying at her feet content and happy as everybody started enjoying the pizza and other snacks that Fran and the girls had sitting on the table. Derek said, "alright what movie are we watching first"?, Jack and Henry in unison said, "NEMOOOOOOOOO" and Penelope said, "'ohhhh I love that movie come on Derek pleaseeeeeeeeee let us watch that one first, pleaseeeeeee".
Derek laughed and said, "I never could refuse you anything now could I"?, she grinned and said, "thank you angel fish", she then high fived Jack and Henry as Dave started the movie. By the time the ending credits were rolling both boys were sleeping peacefully and Fran said, "why don't you just stay here tonight, that way we can still keep watching movies and the boys can sleep"
Emily and JJ looked at their husbands and Hotch said, "well we are off for the next several days so sure we'll stay" and Emily grinned and said, "come on Jayje let's get the boys to their room and get them tucked in". JJ nodded her head yes in agreement as the two women got up from the floor and picked their sleeping children up and carried them toward the stairs.
Derek looked at Penelope and said, "admit it, you knew that they would probably fall asleep early that's why you wanted to watch Nemo first isn't it"?, she grinned and said, "partially, but the other part is I really do love that movie, the boys have me hooked on it", he laughed and shook his head and said, "what am I going to do with you"?, she laid her head down on his shoulder and said, "I guess you'll have to keep me", Derek said, "well I guess I could if I have too".
She elbowed him gently in the stomach and said "you love it and you know it", he kissed the top of her head and said, "that I do baby girl, that I do" as they snuggled close as they waited on JJ and Emily to get back. Hotch looked around the room and said, "so Garcia are you still adjusting to the guards"?, she said, "yeah, it takes some getting use to but sometimes I don't even know they're there".
Dave said, "that's because they were told to stay back and only come close if their is trouble or you are in danger", Penelope said, "how much longer do I have to keep the guards"?, Reid said, "they will be with you until we can the man that attacked you", Penelope sighed and said, "but I" and Hotch said, "sorry Garcia but the guards stay, we love you and are only trying to protect you" she blew out a deep breath and nodded her head yes
It wasn't long before JJ and Emily were walking back downstairs and Emily said, "alright, what are we going to watch next"?, Penelope, JJ and Fran said, "Madeaaaaaaa" and Emily said, "ohhhh yes, I love those movies, she really cracks me up" and the women all grinned because they knew that watching Madea would be a sure way of laughing the night away
Across town Bryan smiled under his mask as he zipped and buttoned his pants back up, he looked down at the unconscious woman laying on the floor and said, "you were good, better than most of them but not as good as my girl, not as good as my Penelope". He then took one final glance at the beautiful blonde before making his way out of her house, as he climbed into his car a few minutes later he sighed and said, "soon Penelope, soon" and then he pulled away from the curb.
