Chapter 2 : Time For Battle

" Ragnarok System Online " can not be summarized in few words but this is the shortest way it can be explained it is a highly complex virtual reality game that grants players true freedom in the worlds available within the game there was a wide variety of spells that the players had access to this spells were ranked by " "Grades" that ranged from E to A as ( Grade E ) was the lowest type of spell that did not provide any offensive or highly effective boons during gameplay while the opposite can be said for (Grade A) as it was known as an high rank spell that was very complex and it had extremely high boons and effectiveness during gameplay .
" Ragnarok System Online " started with a boon for the first eighteen players to log in will be giving the rank of Einherjar an elite warrior who possessed the blessing of odin which was a boon allowing them to gain more experience and level up faster granting them the possibility of godhood to make this quick this elite players would then spread through the nine realms as they would be accompanied by a Valkyrie who would guide them through there journey .
( Main Pov )
Nous honestly thought of the speech as boring as he knew about most of the things Olga Marie Animusphere had said but he only pretended to listen as he knew about the frankly annoying behavior of the director of chaldeas .
Now he was walking back to his room with mashu while thinking about the current limitations of his vessel as he had discovered that it wasn't good this body couldn't handle any spell beyond Grade D as it would simply crumble away if he even try using them as this was extremely restrictive but he still had multiple lesser spells that had decent enough power as he currently knew that Chaldea will be destroyed and he would go to his first singularity but he couldn't remember much after that .
"Senpai this is your room" Mashu says as she smiles brightly opening the door as in an instant she spots a weird looking man who what a medical vest along with two gloves as he smiled at them with his green coloured eyes .
" Dr Romani what are you doing in senpai room " Mash says as she frown looking at him suspiciously .
" E-eh I was just - ' Sigh ' " Dr Romani stutters as he sighs awkwardly looking at nous intensely he then smiles as he was about to say anything more the entire room began to flash bright red as a robotic voice was heared .
" Emergency!! Emergency!! Emergency!! Emergency!! Emergency!! Emergency!! Emergency!! Emergency!! Emergency!! Emergency!! Emergency!! Emergency!! " .
" W-what is happening " Romani states in shocked as his eyes widen as he looks around in confusion .
" Damnit You Guys Run Now!!! " Romani shouts as he immediately dashed to the control room .
" Senpai follow me !! " Mash says as she holds his hand dragging him away from the room as they heard an explosion happen mash drags nous away with more determination .
Nous looked around calmly as he observed the situation carefully he knew who had done this and this fueled his anger for that person he felt a thud and his hand was not more clasped with mash as he stares at her he sees a pod had mutilated her as blood smeared everywhere on the floor he hears an an announcement but he ignores it as he holds mash hands as she looked at him with a solemn smile as everything else ended with a flash .
Nous looked around as he stood up from the ground and unsurprisingly he was face to face with mash but her dress this time was different as this one was more skimpy and open as it revealed her curve for the world to see .
" Senpai are you alright " Mash states looking at him seriously as he smiles back at her .
" What happened " he asked looking oblivious as he already knew what was happening .
" We experienced the process of Ray shifting " Mash says .
'Eye Of Wisdom' Nous thought as he smiles at mash immediately casting the (Grade : E) spell that granted the player information about the mana and health of a target looking at mashu's stats he was honestly disappointed he was expecting pretty average stats as this was still an early point in the story but her stats was honestly not to his liking as she would be considered a minor mob in Ragnarok System Online .
" Thank goodness you guys are alright and mash what shameless cloth are you wearing I didn't raise you like that " Romani states through an hologram .
'Silent Field ' Nous casted another spell but this time a Grade : D spell that completely silenced all forms of objects or mode of communication from multiple people , as the hologram faded away in an instant after that .
" W-what happened " Mashu says panicking as she failed to notice a skeleton that was at her back .
" [ Fireball ! ]" Nous calls out as a ball of fire launches past Mashu and hit the skeleton turning it to ash .
" Thank you for helping me senpai " Mashu says as she turns around looking at nous as she smiles gratefully at him staring at him with determination .
"Mashu I think you somehow became
a servant and from the little knowledge I have about them I think we should make a contract " Nous says as he looks at mash seriously and without a minute more she nods her head placing her hand to him as he shares his mana with her as a bond was immediately made between them .
" Wow senpai your mana feels extremely dense " Mashu says as she felt her self empowered by Nous magical energy as she then turns around sighting more skeletons she rushes towards them crushing them with her shield as they couldn't match her newly empowered body .
Nous looks around calmly as five more skeletons gathered around mash he smiles to himself as he tries one of the skills he had gained from Ragnarok System Online as he raises his palm as a red coloured rune appears around his palm as it's size increases along with it possessing a ( V ) symbol on it as he casts a Grade D spell at the enemies .
" [ Boost : Lightning Bolt (V) ]" Nous casts the spell ' lightning bolt ' which calls forth a bolt of lightning from the sky as it strikes the target inflicting the [Stun] debuff that clouds the user's mind stopping them from thinking clearly preventing them from moving and the [Shocking ] debuff which does constant electrical damage to the enemy for five seconds as the five skeletons got decimated completely as a small crater was engraved within the ground .
Nous smiles in excitement as his experiment had worked what he did was that he used one of the Runes from Ragnarok System Online that was called Boost which applied a modification to spells casted increasing there maximum power this runes had a level limit of five meaning that of course his own runes were all maxed out as the boost had a ( V ) modifier which increased the power of a spell by ten times .
looking to his side he spots mashu looking at him in shock and awe as she began praising him he couldn't help but smile a little as he honestly thought of her as extremely cute as they began walking away from the area they just knew that there journey continues .

This skill allows the user to temporarily increase the physical and magical defense of there allies by invoking the [Resistance] buff that grants the user's allies with a 15 boost to there defensive abilities and immunity the restriction is that the user cannot use any weapon except from shields it has a low cool down .
[ Obsurant Wall Of Chalk ] [ Type : Rare ]
This skill grants one of the user's ally invulnerability by invoking the [Invincible] buff that lasts for a minute as this skill might be powerful but it can only be used on one ally and it has a long cool down .
[ MagicSpells ]
[ Lord Chaldea ] [ Grade : D ]
This spell creates a giant shield at the front of the user's which defense is made from the user's defensive ability and immunity as this spell deducts the power of an opponents attack by (- )25 and buffs the user's and allies defense by 25 .

yeah this chapter took me long to release but nah don't worry guys I can still pump more out of me might upload new chapters next week so see yah . Note : this stats are how mashu stat would look like in Ragnarok System Online so don't take it so seriously .
