Arceus has succeeded upon extracting Sabios' curse from Takumi and Ami. (Speaking of which so far Pokemon Legends Arceus is fun!) However, at that moment Sabios sprung his trap. Using the darkness Arceus absorbed he took control of the Original One. Now the heroes must defeat him and GranDracmon to save Oblivia...
Back at Booker's place, he and Nick were standing on the roof. The craftsman had a toolbox and Nick was holding broads as they looked around. "I'm telling you boss, I don't see a hole anywhere."
"Keep looking! Those kids fell into the house from somewhere!"
"Well, that's true but- A flash caught Nick's eye. "Huh?" He looked up. "Hey, boss! Look at that!"
"What?" Booker looked up and behind him. At the Sky Fortress. A golden beam was flying away from near the top of it.
"What is that?!"
"Oh, I'm sure it's just Ben and the other youngsters savin' the world again."
"You're sure taking this casually boss…"
"What can I say? After a while ya get used ta this kinda thing."
"I guess you got a point. But still, what if things are going bad up there? Maybe that was Ben getting blasted at the Sky Fortress and he's being flung all the way from here to Almia! And then say he landed on someone and got arrested for it! And what will happen next?! Maybe a giant monster will appear and start opening holes in the sky!"
Booker rolled his eyes. "There ya go with the daydreams. Come on. Let's get off this roof before one of us falls. Gah! Now ya got me doin' it too!"
One the lowest outdoor bridge on the Sky Fortress Wormmon collapsed on the floor. "Ha…ha…Keisuke? Erika? Please don't ever make me do that again…"
Keisuke gently set the hogtied Erika on her front. "I gotta say, you're a lot stronger than you look Wormmon." He then looked at the metallic binds on the girl's wrists, ankles, biceps and thighs. "Hang on Erika, I'll get those off you." He put on his Digivice and it displayed screens for him as he started the hack. Erika didn't even attempt to move. She just laid there silent and still until they soon heard a noise coming from her restraints. First the ones on her ankles disconnected from the ones on her wrists allowing her to finally unbend her stiff legs. Then the ones on her ankles disconnected, letting her feet separate. Then the ones on her thighs, freeing the rest of her legs. Next the ones on her wrists disconnected finally freeing her hands from behind her back, but the magic binds on her biceps keep her upper arms pinned to her body. Until those deactivated, giving her full control of her arms again. She slowly sat up and reached behind her head, trying to find the knot to her gag. "Hold on, I'll get that." Keisuke stopped what he was doing to untie the gag for her. As Erika pulled it from her mouth and discarded it, Keisuke finished with the hack and Erika's metal clamps opened and fell from her arms and legs. "Are you okay?" Keisuke asked as he lowered his visor. Erika didn't look at him, but she nodded. "Thank goodness!"
"Keisuke…"
The boy's ears perked up when he heard his name. "Huh? What's up?" Erika grabbed him by the collar with one hand. The other curled into a fist as she bonked it over his head. Hard. "OW!" Keisuke put both hands on the top of his head grimacing in pain. Wormmon shuddered and stepped back. "What was that for?!" Keisuke asked.
"You idiot…!"
"Huh?"
Erika pounded his chest. "What were you thinking?! You could have killed yourself!"
"Well, what was I supposed to do?! Just let you fall to your death?! Besides, I heard Ben survived a really high fall into the sea! You couldn't swim tied up like that, but I could at least keep us both afloat!"
"And then what?! Do you even know how far it is to shore from here?!"
"I…well…"
Erika sighed in exasperation. "I really don't understand you. You always rush into things without thinking! This is just like when you charged into K's trap on your own!"
"Except this time, it's me and Keisuke who saved you!" Wormmon chirped. "Not the other way around!"
"Not now Worrmon!"
"Sorry..."
"Yeah, same here…" Keisuke rubbed the back of his head.
Erika stayed silent for a moment before deflating. "No, I'm sorry…you were just trying to help me. I didn't even thank you yet. But why? Why would you go through such lengths for my life?"
"Well…you're part of Hudie. And well…" Keisuke stuttered a bit. "I…I really like you and I couldn't stand seeing you suffer like this."
"Wh-what…?"
"Besides, I just really wanted to see you again. It's been so lonely having you away from us…Away from me…"
"Keisuke…"
"I still remember what you told me before we parted ways. I didn't stop believing that you and I would meet again someday…And while I can't say this was quite what I imagined, but…here we are."
Erika unexpectedly put her hands on his shoulders and her head on his chest. "I've been longing for this day too…"
Keisuke smiled and put his hands on her shoulders. He and Erika both looked ready to cry. "Welcome back Erika."
"Keisuke…You're not going to do anything stupid like dying on me, are you?"
"Hey, don't worry. I promised you, remember?"
"Thank you…" She smiled faintly.
Suddenly they heard a loud blasting sound from above them. "What was that?!" Keisuke asked.
"Ryuji and the others are still up there! They must be fighting GranDracmon and Sabios!"
"TyrantKabuterimon…" Keisuke slowly stood up, gently bringing Erika to her feet with him. "We gotta go help them!"
"I'm in too!" Wormmon said. "I'm a member of Hudie as well after all!"
Erika gently picked him up. She then looked at Keisuke who confidently nodded. "I guess our reunion will have to be put on hold."
"It's probably for the best if you think about it." Keisuke smiled with his hands in his pockets. "It's not fair to exclude Ryuji and Chitose. We'll pick this up when we reunite with them! And Yu too of course!"
Erika nodded. She smiled as she held Wormmon close. The two of them glowed blue.
Back near the top of the Fortress the floor was carved, leaving a hole that stretched out all the way to the edge of the Sky Fortress. Dust filled the area in front of them. Rapidmon Armor dropped to his knees panting heavily. "Ha…ha…Guys? Please don't ever make me do that again."
Takumi ran over to him. "Hey, are you okay pal?"
"I think so…More importantly…did I get him?"
"You hit him. I'm positive you didn't miss." Gallantmon said. "The question is…was it enough?"
"This seems familiar." Ami muttered.
"Yeah, we've been doing this sort of thing a lot." Rosemon Burst Mode joked.
Soon the dust settled. Everyone heard labored breathing. They first saw Arceus lying on it's side. "Arceus! Man, it sure looks hurt." Keith said.
"I feel sorry for it." Solana said. "This isn't it's fault."
"We had no choice." Professor Hastings said. "The best thing you can do for it is set it free from Sabios's control."
"Right!" Ben and his fellow Rangers took aim. "Capture on!" they fired the discs and as the looped around Arceus, they left a glowing trail. The Pokemon stayed still as they drew loop after loop.
"Curse you!" From elsewhere in the smoke, a purple fireball knocked the Stylers away.
"What was that?!" Summer asked.
"GranDracmon?! He's still kicking even after that?!" Nokia shuddered.
Takumi squinted. "Hold on…I think that attack still damaged him quite a bit."
As the cloud cleared everyone could see GranDracmon. Or rather, what was left of him. In addition to missing a wing and a arm, he had only one leg left and half of his face was distorted. Pixels filled in the holes in his body. "Gah!...Curse you all! That-that really hurt! You dare to hurt the Vampire King!"
"Ha! Falling apart at the seems on us, are you?" Red Eyes smirked.
Keith grinned. "I guess you weren't half the king you thought you were!" Red Eyes laughed as he gave Keith a high five.
"Guy? Please just stop." Yuuko said blankly.
"Forget them Yuuko, Rapidmon did it!" Arata said. "He's damaged beyond repair!"
Justimon stepped forward. "Now's our chance to finish him off."
"Indeed." Vikemon spun his Morning Star. "I'll make sure you never come back!"
"Urgh…ah…ha, ha…Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!" After wincing in pain for a bit, GranDracmon started laughing out loud.
"What's so funny?!" Ami asked.
"You think this is over? You fools think I'm on my last legs?"
"More like last leg." Ben joked. "Why?"
"Justimon, Vikemon…have you already forgotten from our last encounter? Didn't I already show you and your annoying human friend what makes me immortal? My ability to regenerate?"
"…Pardon?" Takumi muttered.
"Hrrrgh…" GranDracmon clutched his shoulder with his remaining hand. "RAAAAAH!" A new arm burst out of the pixels. Then his missing wing returned. And finally his three missing legs reappeared and his stood up, stretching his replacement arm out. "See? Good as new."
"You've got to be kiddin' me." Fei muttered.
"I-impossible!" Omnimon gapped. Even the Royal Knights were taken aback. "He's not only strong…he's immortal!"
Rapidmon growled. "Darn you! Golden Tri- As he got ready to attack again there was a flash and suddenly, he turned into a small red, round Digimon with three lumps on his head dropped to the ground.
"No!" Takumi ran over to him.
"What happened to Takumi's Digimon?!" Leanne asked.
"Absorbing all of that energy and releasing it all at once must have taken a heavier toil on him then we thought." Alphamon replied. "It caused him to revert back into a Baby Digimon. Punimon."
Takumi picked him up. "Are you okay?!"
"Takumi…"
Sabios laughed as he applauded. "That was an impressive showing, even if it did fail. Combining the power of your Royal Knights, but excluding Alphamon to draw our attention away from you. Too bad. If you included her strength, then you're chances might have been just a little better. Make no mistake though. That trick won't be working again."
"That thing will just keep regenerating no matter how badly we hurt it?!" Date asked.
"That's right, puny human!" GranDracmon laughed. "All of your efforts so far have meant nothing!"
"Don't be so sure!" Lunick said. "Arceus is still down for the count! And even if you interrupted our capture, our feelings still reached it!"
"Is that what you think?" Sabios asked before he held his hand out towards the downed Pokemon. "Stand Arceus! I command you!"
The Pokemon opened it's red eyes and slowly rose up despite the pain it was in. "Arceus…" Ben muttered.
"You're going to force it to fight while it's clearly injured?!" Nema asked. "That's cruel!"
"Oh, don't worry little one. It won't be in pain for much longer. GranDracmon is not the only one capable of healing his battle injuries. Recover!"
"Gyuiiiiiiiin!" Arceus's body glowed white. The damage it had taken slowly subsided and it was back to full health.
"What?!" Rand asked. "Give me a break!"
"Oh, yeah, Arceus did have that move, didn't he?" Armageddemon muttered.
"Arceus, Sabios is controlling you with his magic!" Ben yelled. "Can you hear me?! Break free! Arceus! ARCEUS!"
"It's no use Ben. I'm afraid your trinkets have no affect on Arceus. They are nothing compared to my magic."
"That is one powerful and obnoxious spell you used on him." Blue Eyes muttered. "Seems completely different from the mind control program Kincaid made for you to brainwash me and your own team."
"It is indeed on a whole new level."
"Then why didn't you use this spell instead of the program?" Kyoko asked. "Seems like a waste of time and resources."
"Unfortunately, there are some drawbacks. Controlling the Steelhead in the Dark Temple is simple enough for me even without the Golden Armor. But I still had a limit to how many I could control without the Golden Armor, hence me having Ellios control the rest of them in my place. Also, it only works on minds weaker than my own."
"Not very many people then, huh?" Chitose asked. "What's that, ten people? Three?"
"However, I did discover a work around. Should there be any shroud of darkness in the heart of my target, the effects of my spell strengthen. And my curse can amplify darkness within people."
"That's why you used me and Ami, to pass your curse on to Arceus." Takumi glared.
"Precisely. Although, just in case that was not enough, I sought to bring natural darkness to Arceus's heart. I sought a way to draw out it's wrath. And on that note, I would like to welcome to the stage, a key character to my scrip. Come out and take a bow, Purple Eyes!"
"Heh, heh, heh." The Ex-leader of the Pinchers stepped out of his hiding spot. "Thank you…master Sabios."
"Purple Eyes!" Ben snarled. "Were you under his control too?! Or was this your intention all along?!"
"After my escape from prison I was keeping a low profile. But when I heard rumors of another organization operating on Oblivia, I saw a second chance at claiming my rightful place."
"Now I see." Matayoshi said. "You were intentionally aggravating Arceus to make it easier for Sabios to control."
"Purple Eyes sought me out. I was very impressed that he found our hideout all on his own." Sabios said. "Do you remember how Ed "the Thinker" stated disappointment in him for falling to uncover all the truth of the murals in the Oblivia Ruins on is own? I find such judgment…hypocritical. It is true that Purple Eyes required Kyoko and Leanne to decipher the rest, but he certainly got further on his own then the Society did. That was why they needed Purple Eyes in the first place. And not only that, Purple Eyes discovered my secret spell implemented in this gauntlet to pull the other parts away from anyone else wearing them. And then you Rangers interrogated him and treated him like a criminal, despite you children committing a much greater sin against the laws of nature. I felt so horrible for poor, poor Purple Eyes and his constant mistreatment. So, I decided to give him what was so close to being his."
"Wait…are you seriously telling me you'll just give him the Golden Armor after all you went through to get it?!" Arata asked.
"Of course not. But if you recall, I told you that I have no need for this fortress. I was considering giving that to Purple Eyes."
"But it requires the Golden Armor to control the Sky Fortress, doesn't it?" Yuugo asked.
"I can easily forge a new armor compatible with the core for him to use. He can carry out his own objective."
"What objective?" Jesmon asked.
"Not everything I told Arceus was just an act." Purple Eyes said. "I wish to remake this world as a new king working under the higher being. Lord Sabios and I share a common goal. And now that Arceus is controlled by his will it also shares that goal."
"Purple Eyes will be the king of the new world I create." Sabios said.
"I find that generosity very uncharacteristic." Yuuko said. "What are you scheming? Use him the same way you did Elios?"
"Not quite the same way."
"The time is now!" Purple Eyes said. "Lord Sabios, I have fulfilled the role you assigned me. It's time you gave me what you promised."
"But of course." Sabios smirked. He held his hand towards Purple Eyes.
Suddenly Purple Eyes shuddered. "Gah!" He grasped his head. "Wh-what's this? My head!"
"Don't resist human!" GranDracmon laughed as he stared at the man with red eyes. "You're going to get just what you wanted!"
"What are you doing?!" Summer yelled.
"S-stop…please! Uh…ah! GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Purple light surrounded Purple Eye's head as he roared in pain. His body glowed with violet aura and his eyes turned red.
Sabios laughed. "Congratulations Purple Eyes. You will be the next king. One that I will completely control."
Purple Eyes kneeled and spoke in a altered voice. "Yes…Master Sabios."
"You mind controlled him?!" Nokia asked. "How is that anything like what you promised?!"
"Purple Eyes will indeed still be king. After all, a god does not present himself to the mindless masses. He has an oracle delivering his will to them."
"Oh, good grief." ShineGreymon groaned. "So, you think you're a god now? Can you be any more pretentious?"
"You're nothing of the sort!" Takumi objected. "Just a deluded old man with a very big head!"
"Oh, but I am a god. Watch closely. Purple Eyes, do as I command!"
With inhuman speed, Purple Eyes stood up and ran at Ben from behind and trapped his arms in a hold. "Ah! Wh-what are you doing?!" Ben grunted as he tried to pull free.
"Ben!" Summer ran towards him, but Sabios shot four purple lights at her wrists and ankles. "Hey! What the- Her engulfed hands were pulled up high above her head, leaving her feet dangling off the ground and her legs were pulled downward. "Let me go!"
"Ben! Summer!" Ami rushed in without thinking.
"Eye of The Gorgon!" Under his mask, GranDracmon's eyes glowed red and flashed on everyone.
"W-what is this?!" the frozen Magnamon asked.
"Not again!" Kate growled. "I can't move!"
Sabios then held forward his handheld gadget and the screen emitted a purple light from his hands towards Ben and Summer. The two of them shook their heads and groaned, trying to resist the foggy feeling consuming their minds. "You are my solders now. You will do anything I order you to."
"N…never!" Ben grunted.
"It is pointless to resist. With Arceus at my command and this new mind control program I modified, my power over minds has risen to even greater heights. I won't even need to seek out darkness within either of you."
"Stop it!" Summer screamed.
"Ben! Summer!" Takumi grunted, trying to get his body to move, but his body wouldn't obey.
"GAAAAAAAAAAH!" Ben and Summer's eyes turned red. When Sabios and Purple Eyes let them go, they dropped to their knees.
"NO!" Rand yelled.
"Yes. That's it. Now come to me." Sabios ordered.
Ben and Summer stood up. They slowly started to step towards Sabios along with Purple Eyes.
"I-is this some kind of joke?!" Nema asked. "Ben! Summer!"
"Pichu!" Ben's partner yelled. "Pi!"
"Staaaar!" Staraptor and even the Guardian Sign Pokemon started calling out to the Rangers, but their cries fell on deaf ears.
The Rangers and Purple Eyes stood in front of Sabios. They turned around and faced Takumi and the others with their glowing red eyes. GranDracmon laughed. "Look, now even your precious heroes are at our command. Surly you can see now resisting our will is futile."
"Curse you!" Ryuji growled.
"Now, who would like to go next? Or was this demonstration enough to prove you were all better off just submitting to me willingly? I respect the power you have all displayed. I already promised Purple Eyes the role of king, but the rest of you can be his elite guard. You alongside those Digimon and Pokemon you love so much can live as you like. Be masters of the lesser masses. What do you say?"
"Don't compare us to you, you freak!" Ami yelled. "I'll never join you!"
"Same here!" Takumi added. "A world completely controlled by someone as self-centered as you is one I want no part of!"
"Oh, my." Sabios murmured. "I should have expected such resistance from you. Oh well. I'll just have to force you to obey me."
"Wait!" Suddenly something flew up to the balcony they stood on. They flew over and landed in front of Takumi and the team facing Sabios. It was a familiar, humanoid Digimon with wings.
"What is that?" Kentaurosmon asked.
"Hudiemon!" Justimon gasped.
"That's Hudiemon?" Blue Eyes asked. "As in…"
"Erika!" Ryuji smiled in joy.
"And she's got Keisuke too!" Yu gleamed. "You're both safe!"
"Uh…yeah." Keisuke said awkwardly. Hudiemon was carrying him in one arm like a sack of potatoes.
"So, this is the human/Digimon hybrid." Professor Hastings said. "Fascinating."
Hudiemon gently set Keisuke onto the floor. "Sabios! GranDracmon! I won't let you have your way any longer!"
"You again?" GranDracmon sighed. "I thought we just disposed of you."
"Too bad. Next time you should make sure I'm properly disposed of instead of throwing me off a flying rock and assuming I won't come back."
"Oh, I will! If you're still acting confident, I'd say you've forgotten how our previous fight ended! Before I obtained this glorious form!"
"With our new power, we won't even need to fight them." Sabios said.
"How right you are."
"Eri-Hudiemon, look away!" Ryuji yelled.
"Eye of The Gorgon!" GranDracmon set his glowing red gaze on Hudiemon and Keisuke. Both were frozen in place.
"Ha, ha, ha! You belong to us now!" Sabios pointed his Controlvice at them.
But Hudiemon smirked. "Seems like you're the one who forgot our last fight GranDracmon."
"Huh?"
"Infinity Dream!" Hudiemon's eyes glowed blue and a bright flash enveloped everything and everyone.
"GAAAAAAAAAH!" GranDracmon covered his eyes.
"What?! Ah!" Sparks flew from Sabios's Controlvice. He looked at it. The screen displayed "Error" on it.
Takumi's body jerked forward. He looked at his arms. "I can move again."
Ben, Summer and Purple Eyes stared into the glow. Purple Eyes passed out on the floor and Ben and Summer dropped to their knees. "Pichu!" Pichu and Staraptor ran over to them. Pichu played a melody on his ukulele.
Ben looked up. His eyes were returned to normal. "Pichu? What was I doing just now?"
"Ben! Summer! You snapped out of it!" Lunick smiled.
"Huh?" Summer rubbed her head. "What just happened to me? Wait, is that Hudiemon? And Keisuke?!"
Sabios smacked his Controlvice against his hand. "No, no, no! Work you stupid…!"
"Your mind games won't work anymore." Hudiemon said.
"You annoying pest!" GranDracmon yelled. "I'll tear off your wings and squash you like the bug you are!"
Sabios growled. "Not being able to use my brainwashing program is a minor loss. But without my Controlvice, I can't initiate our plan!" He turned to his Pokemon and Digimon. "GranDracmon! Arceus! I need to make repairs! Keep them busy until I return!" His armor then glowed and he disappeared in a bright light.
"Sabios!" Ami yelled.
"Now then." GranDracmon stretched his neck around. "Let's play a little…"
Keisuke noticed Nema was holding his beaten Digimon. "Tentomon!" He ran over to them. "What happened?!"
"He tried to fight for you after you fell." Nema replied, handing Tentomon to him.
"Tentomon, are you okay?!"
"Kie…suke…"
Hudiemon flew over to them. "It looks like he'll be alright. Don't worry. He's tougher than you are."
Ryuji, Chitose and Yu ran over. "Erika!"
"Brother…Chitose…we meet again."
"Is that all you have to say?" Chitose chuckled. "You haven't changed a bit Erika. You're happier than you'll let us see. Not unlike you're brother."
"Erika…" Ryuji said. "I'm sorry."
"Ryuji?"
"It's bad enough that I wasn't by your side while you suffered…but I had the nerve to forget about you completely."
"That wasn't your fault. Please, just give yourself a break already." Hudiemon then spotted Yu. "Yu, thank you for looking after them in my place."
"O-oh, it was nothing really…" the boy shyly replied. "I'm just glad we got you back."
Takumi, Ami, Nokia, Arata, Yuugo, and Yuuko walked over to them. "So, you're Hudiemon." Takumi said. "It's nice to finally met you."
Hudiemon looked at them. "You…you're the chosen ones who saved our worlds."
"I don't know if "chosen ones" suit us." Ami replied.
"But more importantly, if your Keisuke and Chitose's friends while I'm their friend that makes us friends right?" Nokia asked. "I'm Nokia! But you just call me Akkino! That's an old nickname of mine!"
"Um, yes…" Hudiemon replied as Nokia shook her hand.
"You'll have to excuse her." Yuuko smiled. "She goes at her own unique pace."
Erika looked at all of them and then her friends from Hudie. "Ha, ha! The heroes of both sides of our story working together, huh?"
"I hate to break up the touching reunion, but can we hold it off on it until there isn't a brainwashed Arceus and an angry vampire monster after us?!" Keith yelled.
"He's right, stay focused!" Kentaurosmon snapped. "Nothing we've done is working on them and we're already down two Digimon!"
"Not yet." Hudiemon said. "Takumi and Keisuke's Digimon can still fight."
"No!" Takumi said. "Terriemron used up all his energy! I can't send him out like this, he'll get killed!"
"Don't worry. Partner Digimon have special traits."
"What do you mean?" Keisuke asked.
"As a human merged with her Partner Digimon, I know how their powers are shared. Determination is what enables you to Digivolve your Digimon, but determination comes from many different things. In Sabios's case, it's his own selfish desire to gain more power. But for you two, it's a desire to protect those important to you. And the more people you have and the more they matter to you, the stronger that desire is. Your strength comes from the bonds you forge."
"Bonds?" Takumi asked.
"Look around you."
Takumi and Keisuke turned around and looked at everyone. Ami. Kyoko. Nokia. Arata. Yuuko. Yuugo. Ryuji. Chitose. Yu. Ben. Summer. Fei. Date. Matayoshi. Rand. Nema. Leanne. Solana. Lunick. Keith. Kellyn. Kate. Rythmi. Professor Hastings. Red Eyes. Blue Eyes. All of them smiling or smirking at the two of them. Even all the Digimon and Pokemon were right behind them. "Everyone…" Keisuke murmured.
"And that's not all." Hudiemon said. "There is the bond you share with your Digimon. And of course…" Hudiemon took Keisuke's right hand in hers and Takumi's in her left. She put one over the other. "There is the bond you two share with each other."
"Huh?" Takumi blinked.
"Even if it was on two different paths, you two have both been fighting the same enemy for the same thing. You were unknowing comrades fighting for people and Digimon. Neither of you could have succeeded without the other. And now here you are, fighting together again side by side rather then from a distance. That bond has developed into something special. And not just you. Terriermon and Tentomon developed a bond with each other the exact same way. And that bond…" Hudiemon's hands glowed white along with the boys. "Is ready to evolve along with you and your partners."
Takumi and Keisuke stared in awe at the growing light. "I can feel it." Takumi said. "A connection."
Keisuke stared into the light. "I feel so confident all the sudden."
Text appeared on the lenses of Takumi's goggles and Keisuke's visor.
DOUBLE WARP DIGIVOLUTION
DIGIVOLUTION
"Punimon Double Warp Digivolve to…" A small shell formed around Takumi's Digimon as it rose up from his arms. As it grew silhouettes of Tsunomon then Veemon. Then when he finally emerged he was a tall, humanoid blue and white dragon with wings, a silver horn and a x on his chest. "ExVeemon!"
"Tentomon Digivolve to…Stingmon!" Keisuke's Digimon transformed into a green humanoid bug with spiked shoulders and red hair and eyes.
"Takumi's Digimon achieved a new Champion form!" Ben gasped.
"So did Keisuke's!" Yuugo added. "And we never installed Nema and Arata's program into his Digivice!"
"Hmph. Big deal." GranDracmon scoffed. "What difference could a couple of Champion Level Digimon make at this point?"
But the light didn't stop glowing from the two teens. It shinned even brighter. Takumi's eyes burst with gold aura. Keisuke's eyes glowed azure. Their receptive new Digimon glowed their partner's color as well. "What is this?" Magnamon asked amazed.
"I've never felt a power like this before…" Gallantmon said.
"Is this the power of the bonds between humans and Digimon?" Kentaurosmon.
"Keisuke…ExVeemon…Stingmon…" Takumi smiled. "Erika is right. With us working together, we can win this fight."
Keisuke nodded. "That's right. As long as we have our friends backing us up, we'll find a way. We always do."
Takumi and Keisuke's hands were still glowing white.
DNA DIGIVOLUTION
"ExVeemon!" Takumi's Digimon glowed golden and flew upward.
"Stingmon!" Keisuke's turned blue and flew up with him.
"DNA Digivolve to…" They spun around as they slowly got closer. When they came into contact with each other, they started to merge into a bright white light. As it crackled above them everyone shielded their eyes.
"What's happening?" Red Eyes asked.
"Takumi and Keisuke's Digimon…merged together?" an amazed Rythmi asked.
Takumi, Keisuke and Hudiemon were the only ones not blinded. They stared at the light as two arms appeared. Stingmon's arms. Then two legs. ExVeemon's legs. The light dissipated and showed the rest of the new form. A Digimon with four wings, a blue body with black armor, two turrets attached to his hips and a red mask. "Paildramon!"
"This is my…our Digimon's new form." Keisuke said.
"Amazing…" Ami said. "We've seen DNA Digivolution before, but something about this one feels…different."
"I never even considered DNA Digivolving the Digimon of two different human partners." Aplhamon said. "Very creative Hudiemon."
"It wasn't just me. Keisuke and Takumi's bond forged this miracle." Hudiemon replied.
Solana scanned the newcomer. "Paildramon. Free Type Ultimate Digimon. It has the attack power of a dragon and an insect's defence."
Paildramon looked down at his enemy and spoke with the combined voices of Takumi and Keisuke's Digimon. "GranDracmon. You've invaded other worlds and the hearts of many Pokemon, humans and Digimon. You tormented them for your amusement and selfish desire for power. I refuse to overlook these crimes. I will strike you down and end your ambitions once and for all."
GranDracmon laughed. "A mere Ultimate Level claims that he will bring justice upon me? What a joke. You humans may have merged your pets together, but no matter how you stack it up, trash will always be trash!" As soon as he was done talking he fired a purple beam from his mouth towards Paildramon. The Digimon was still as the beam went at him. After it stopped GranDracmon looked up and saw his target was gone. "Obliterated already? Pah! So much for your "Miracle" Hudiemon."
Hudiemon smiled along with Keisuke and Takumi. "He presumes a lot, doesn't he?"
"He's mouth is certainty faster then his attacks."
GranDracmon gasped when he heard Paildramon's voice right behind him. The DNA Digimon had his back facing his and his arms crossed. "H-how- He swung his arm at Paildramon, but it flew up and rammed his foot into the side of his head. Arceus purple orbs at the Digimon but it flew away and between each one so fast it looked like he was teleporting.
"Wow! I can barley even see him!" Summer said.
"That speed rivals even me and Kentaurosmon!" UlforceVeedramon gasped.
