An unknown amount of hours had passed. Mavka was fulfilled with sleep, comfortably lying in a bed of easement. She curled her body under the sheets until she opened her eyes to see Hux's frame next to hers.
Her mind had widened, almost forgetting about what happened between them. It was the most exhilarating feeling she had ever felt in a long time. The heart of hers was sinking into a doting passion.
Mavka needed to explore her intimacy and so she slowly moved her body closer to his sleeping figure, her hand softly brushing his arm. Hux's breathing had deepened. He had been sleeping peacefully for the first time in forever. All she did was stare at his frame, his restful face, and his masculine structure.
After some time, Hux moved, gradually noticing her beside him, staring with fondness.
"Mavka," he said, his voice betraying sleepiness.
He groaned from his tiredness as he rose from the bed, adjusting his eyes.
"...How much time had passed?" He said, blinking.
"I do not know. Hours, perhaps?" Mavka replied.
"I must get going." Hux brushed the blankets aside and headed towards what she had assumed was his bathroom. Mavka was stunned by the sudden situation and quickly removed herself from the bed.
She headed toward the door. Hux looked at her, noticing her movement.
"What is it you're... Doing?" Mavka asked, standing by the doorway of the bathroom.
"I have to cleanse myself, Ein."
"I will join you." Mavka grinned and made her way to his shower.
"What?" He said, dumbfounded. "We will bathe together." Mavka insisted.
A look of confusion spread across his features. "...Why?"
Mavka gazed at him and shrugged slightly."Because I want to." The showerhead turned on, a strong amount of water cascading down onto Mavka's back and her skin. A satisfied smile spread across her face. Hux observed her, she was pleased and comfortable around him. Then, he took glances at her naked body. He felt like he should be disgusted but just couldn't stop scrutinizing her curves and the form of her breasts. It was strange to see her uncovered alien body next to him.
She closed her eyes, relaxed under the warm water. Hux was a bit off-put by the situation; it was somewhat new to both of them. Mostly to him. As the water surrounded their bodies, Hux began cleaning himself with some soap, adding shampoo into his hair. Mavka scrubbed herself with vigor, washing every inch of her skin.
As Hux rinsed his body, Mavka insisted on helping him wash his back for him. He hesitated for a bit but she was nice enough. Her benign hands caressed against and around the form of his body until he had enough.
After some time, they both emerged from the shower. Finished with their bath as they both dried themselves, leaving the bathroom. Mavka was being doting but she noticed Hux's sensitive demeanor and how frigid he was.
She shied away from him for a bit, leaving him to finish drying himself. After he emerged from the drying process, he headed toward his bedroom. Mavka sat on the edge of his bed and stared at him, worried.
"...Armitage." She called out. He turned and looked at her, a bit confused."You appear... Strange," she suggested. He gave her a strange look. He stared at her for a moment before speaking.
"What is it you want, Ein?"
Her eyes gazed into the distance of his chambers, the cold and pale colors that lingered in the room, "We shared... Our bodies. Yet, you, appear-cold." Mavka explained, averting her gaze.
She could hear him exhale, " . I will admit. My mind was not clear...at the moment. I was... Upset, conflicted. I felt as if I had to call you, is all."
Mavka was a little hurt, though the feeling faded. "...I...understand." She muttered Hux looked away, his brow furrowed.
"There were conflicting thoughts in my mind about you, that is all."Mavka looked back at him, a frail smile on her lips.
"You should get dressed." He said. He looked down at the floor in an almost contemplative pose. Mavka nodded. When he was finished getting ready, he looked up at her, a determined look in his eyes.
"Your duty will be resume as it should. You're required to cease any relation to what has happened between us. You must always address me as General. Do you understand?" Hux looked at her, a stern expression on his face.
Mavka stared back at him with low eyes, almost discontented with this discussion. But she agreed nevertheless. "Yes, I understand..."
"Good.", he turned to approach the door. "I suggest you exit first. I don't wish for anyone to seek suspicion." The door zoomed open and she quickly exited out. Hux waited for a moment until he too left the chamber.
He left in an instant as Mavka followed his trail, she was a bit far away from him than usual... She knew she had to attend to his side even though the feelings between them had grown distant and irregular. She eyed the back of his figure, walking through the corridors of the fleet, aching to do something or protest her feelings.
"The Supreme Leader's plan has been driven away from the Resistance. And yet, we've come further from our goal." He sighed, feeling discontented from the lack of courage that the First Order had been brought with. The defeat, the Resistance escaping once more with victory was exhausting.
"Our enemy is still out there. It will continue to fight, even with our defeat now certain."If only the Supreme Leader had been more...stable." He continued to talk about his thoughts about the situation that they were in; mostly about his position in the First Order.
"...What will the Supreme Leader... do... next?" Mavka asked.
Their footsteps continued, "I am not sure. That is why we are heading for the meeting room." He said, walking a little faster.
The meeting room was located on the top floor of the central complex, accessible through a personnel lift.
The meeting room was massive, dark, and dingy, yet, surprisingly well lit. The table, chairs, and numerous other furnishings looked quite dated but were in good shape for the standards of the Imperium.
A large hologram of the map of the rebel base was projected above the table. The large, yellow, and the highly valuable sun shone brightly above the table, brightening the faces of the various men that sat around it.
Mavka was struck by an overwhelming feeling, unsure of what to feel. She had heard so much about Kylo Ren and his Knights of Ren, yet, she had never seen them in action.
"General Hux. You're late." Said Ren, his eyes crinkled.
"Yes, well. I apologize Supreme Leader. I- lost track of time." General Hux quickly seated himself to an empty seat, next to an older man with dark hair and spectacles, who was also wearing a military uniform.
The man looked up at Hux in a dismissing tone. Hux would properly smite him down or berate him, but he didn't seem like he could just do that out of spite anymore. There was a new master in the First Order. As the room settled, Kylo Ren planted both of his palms at the edge of the table.
"The resistance. The battle of Crait. The First Order needs to slowly rejoice until we are ready."
"Then... what do you purpose?" Said one of the imperial officers
"We'll be needing time."Said Kylo.
"And let the Resistance rejoice?" Said one of the male imperial officers. Kylo turned to the man, his hand extended forward as the imperial officer was being choked by the force.
"We'll deal with them when I'm ready. When I learn more of the dark side." He said. He turned back to the table, strangling the last man to death, releasing his grip. Mavka trembled, her eyes widening as she saw the man die. But death was always a part of the order.
She had never seen Kylo Ren up close, always keeping sides with the General most of the time. The thought came to her that he might be more than he seemed.
The meeting was adjourned, leaving Mavka unsure of what to think. For General Hux to make progress in his position he had to grovel to Kylo and it would be even more difficult for him now that the man was in full control of the First Order. His time was being spent in meetings with the man.
She had hoped that he wasn't going to be eaten by tension and nuisance, but his temper was building up greatly. As she was free from General Hux's string, waiting outside the meeting; her thoughts flowed him her mind.
A sudden bolt of dismay was spilling over, her feelings were coming clear to her. The experience with Hux was overwhelming yet indelible. She never thought about her feelings towards General Hux, that authoritarian manner was somewhat... immersive? She wasn't sure. But she knew she felt something for the man. All the vulgar thoughts made their way in, the sensation of being consumed and ravished with lust. She blushed, but it wasn't a conscious effort.
Her eyes moved to the floor, staring upwards as the large personnel lift doors opened.
"Dank Farrik..." Mavka cursed under her breath.
"Ein?" The call of her name made her jump, she shifted to see General Hux standing over her with ease.
"-Arm-I-Hu- General." She expressed a nervous smile at him. His eyes were looking at her sternly, his jaw was set. He sharply exhaled. She was acting timider and demure than usual. He sensed it, but what was he to do about it? He needed to maintain the image that he was the leader. He would have to keep a firm hand.
"Compose yourself. You're beginning to act unnaturally." He said."But-but, I-I just..." She couldn't find the words to form a coherent sentence.
"You what?" He frowned.
"You know-you know-you know." Hux rolled his eyes in aggravation she wasn't containing herself. He began walking away, in a huff.
"I'll be seeing you, Ein. Now, I have a mission to accomplish." He muttered, leaving Mavka confused.
She looked up at the lift doors. Left alone she began to ponder of the future with General Hux. She realized that she needed to do more to prove herself. Her mind wandered, she couldn't seem to find a way to do that. Mavka took this time to gather her thoughts. She had to decide what to do with her life and her path in the First Order.
Her mother had always said that you find a path once you focus on what you want. For the rest of the following hours, Mavka felt independent, alone, and untethered from General Hux's side. She felt a surge of space, but it wasn't enough. The whole situation was eating at her, and she knew that she couldn't rest until she solved it.
