Chapter 6: Travel Across The Golden Bridge! Meeting PC Wizard Bill!

Ruby - "Wow! To think we're finally in Cerulean City!"

? - "Hey!"

The party saw a familiar pink-haired girl running towards them.

Michael/Girls - "Pinkie!"

Pinkie then suddenly decided to tackle hug Michael, who effortlessly dodged it, causing Pinkie to crash to the ground.

Pinkie - "No fair Michael! I was supposed to tackle you in a sisterly hug!"

Michael - "Then learn to be faster Pinkie. Anyway. How've you been?"

Pinkie - "Pretty good. You guys?"

Ruby - "We're the same. So, who did you bring with you?"

Pinkie tossed two Poké Balls into the air, bringing out her Seel and Kangaskhan. Michael, Weiss, Ruby, and Rarity then responded by bringing out their own Pokémon.

Pinkie - "Wow! You guys have so many Pokémon. You especially Michael."

Rarity - "That's mostly due to Michael being given all but the Galar Starters, and then him catching every Pokémon he sees."

Michael - "Hey I like catching Pokémon. Besides it helps that catching so many fills up my PokéDex very quickly."

Weiss - "He's not wrong Rarity."

Rarity - "Fair point."

The party, with Pinkie now joining it, decided to head for Routes 24 and 25 to help Michael train for the Cerulean Gym Battle. Along with battling the numerous trainers, crossing the infamous Golden Nugget Bridge as a result, Michael also caught a Venonat, Meowth, and a pair of Poliwag. He then sent all four Pokémon home. During the battles and training afterwards, Zubat and Sandshrew evolved in Golbat and Sandslash respectively. Rarity's Geodude also evolves into Graveler. She then used the Link Box to evolve Graveler into Golem. This made her the third of the party to have a fully evolved Pokémon on their team behind Weiss who had her Froslass, and Michael with his Butterfree and Beedrill. Michael then took a look at his PokéDex and was completely shocked at what he saw.

Michael - "Uhhh. You girls may want to take a look at this."

Ruby - "What is it, Michael?"

He showed the girls his PokéDex. They then saw the number of caught and seen.

Rarity - "Wow! It's gone up so quickly!"

Weiss - "Guess Akira kept her word then."

Pinkie - "Can you guys explain to me what you're talking about?"

The others explained the situation to Pinkie, telling her about how Michael told his sister Akira the she and the rest of his family could use evolution items on the Pokémon he left at home.

Pinkie - "Wow. So that means that Michael's PokéDex is gonna fill up even faster now."

Michael - "No questions it will. But I don't mind. This way, I can focus on the Pokémon I have with me, and my parents and sisters can assist the ones I leave with them."

Rarity - "That's fair."

The party soon arrived at a small house at the end of Route 25, near a cove that was overlooking the ocean.

Michael - "Come take a look at the view girls!"

The girls quickly joined Michael on the cove.

Pinkie - "Wow. What a beautiful view."

Ruby - "Hey. Let's take a picture to remember the moment."

Weiss - "Good idea Ruby."

Michael and the girls then quickly got together in front of the camera, the ocean behind them as the picture was taken.

Rarity - "Such a good picture."

Michael then put the camera away and turned his attention towards the house at the bottom of the stairs.

Michael - "Now then. Let's see if anyone lives in that house."

Pinkie - "I've talked with Misty and a few of the other folks around town, and they told me that a guy named Bill lives here. He's supposed to be the head mastermind behind the PC storage system for our Pokémon."

Michael - "Yeah. Him and a small group of friends, which Akira is also a part of."

Ruby - "So does Bill live here?"

Michael - "No. He comes here to do his research to make the PC system better, but his true home is Goldenrod City in Johto."

Weiss - "Who else is a part of the group?"

Michael - "There's a woman named Lanette. She created the box system in Hoenn. Then there's another woman named Bede. She's the box system creator for Sinnoh."

The party entered the house, but no one was there to greet them.

Michael - "Hello? Anyone here?"

Rarity then screamed in fright as a Nidorino appeared from behind the desk. The Nidorino walked forward a bit, then stood up on it's hind legs.

Pinkie - "A Nidorino that can walk on two legs?!"

Michael looked at Nidorino, then at the machine to his right. He quickly understood the situation.

Michael - "Is that you Bill?"

Bill - "Yeah that's me. I'm a true-blue Pokémon fanatic!"

However, unlike Michael, the girls were skeptical of Bill's words.

Bill - "Hey! What's with those skeptical looks? I'm not joshing you guys."

Weiss - "Is he telling the truth Michael?"

Michael - "He 100% is. Don't forget. My aura powers let me know if someone's lying to my facing. Doesn't matter if they're human or Pokémon."

Rarity - "Oh right. Completely forget about that. Our apologies Bill."

Bill - "It's ok. I really shouldn't be blaming you girls for being skeptical of my words at all anyway. By the way. Are you really Akira's older twin brother Michael?"

Michael - "Yep that's me. Nice to officially meet you, Bill."

Bill - "Likewise Michael. Although I wish the situation was under better circumstances."

Michael - "Agreed. May I ask what happened here?"

Bill - "I screwed up an experiment and got combined with a Pokémon!"

Ruby - "Is there any way that we can help you get back to being a human?"

Bill - "There is actually. I'll climb inside the teleporter, so I need one of you to run the Cell Separation System on the computer for me."

Michael - "I'll do it."

Michael walked over to the computer on the desk and got the Cell Separation System ready.

Bill - "Ok let me get inside first."

Bill stepped into the teleporter on its right side. Michael then activated the system the moment the door closed. The machine whirred to life. Suddenly sparks appear on the entire teleporter. Then smoke billows out from it as Michael and the girls shield themselves. Then a Nidorino runs past them. The smoke finally clears to reveal the real Bill. A young man with brown hair and brown eyes.

Bill - "Yee-haw! Thanks, guys! I owe you all one!"

Pinkie - "Happy to help Bill."

Bill - "Here. Let me give you guys something as a thank you for saving my sorry butt."

Bill handed Michael some tickets.

Michael - "These are tickets to the S.S. Anne!"

Rarity - "That's supposed to be ported in Vermillion City right now!"

Bill - "I heard from Akira about you all and a few of your friends traveling across the regions. So, you guys have more use for these tickets than I do."

Michael counted the number of tickets Bill gave him.

Michael - "There's fifteen tickets here."

Bill - "Akira said that may be at least eleven in your party at any given time. So, I gave you guys a few extra tickets just in case. And if you need anymore, just come see me."

Michael - "Thanks Bill. Guess we'll see you around then."

Bill - "Ok then. You all take care now."

It was late when the party left Bill's house.

Michael - "Let's return to the Pokémon Center for the night girls. Then I challenge the Cerulean Gym in the morning."

Girls - "Right!"

The party quickly returned to the Pokémon Center and rented a room, then got dressed for bed and quickly fell asleep. Ruby, Weiss, and Michael were sleeping together in the same bed.
