CHAPTER 8

In the forest's on the edge of Lake Matsu, Siniy had finally found the airship wreck. It had taken him until nightfall, but he'd made it. Sifting through the ship, he found the pilot dead, but saw no sign of Weiss… And the few crates of dust in the main deck were gone… "Scavengers." Siniy said, realizing the place had been stripped of everything remotely approaching valuable… If the bandits had taken Weiss, there was no real way for him to find her… Unless. Siniy huffed, then took the faceplate off of his helmet, dropping it into the dirt. He knelt down and deeply inhaled. He'd gotten a trail... 12 actually. 11 unknowns, and Weiss's mixture of natural scents and perfumes… A seldom used secondary trait of his faunus heritage was an incredibly powerful nose. He could recognize certain smells from well beyond the horizon, and follow scent trails much like the apex predator he resembled. It was more annoying than anything in crowded cities however, hence it's seldom use, but in the forest? Getting up, Siniy followed his nose through the woods, and hopefully to his girlfriend… Before the bandit's could hurt her… Physically or in other ways… If they had, Hell would be raised up to Remnant.

Siniy had stalked through the woods following Weiss's scent for well over 10 miles, and the trail was nowhere near cold. The sun had begun to set, and he could tell he was getting close. Within 6 hours he'd managed to find a log fortress, the place Weiss was located. The bandit camp. Approaching the entrance, Siniy let out a roar to challenge the gate guards. With Two Theaters raised in it's axe mode, he charged into the camp, kicking over the bandits in his way like bowling pins, before sweeping his weapon, hitting three or four of the unfortunate people who didn't run in time, sending them flying either into or over the walls of the camp.

Weiss had heard Siniy come into the camp from her cell, and at first she couldn't believe it. Somehow her boyfriend had survived being at the center of that explosion he made. But there was a time for wonder and a time for action. She decided it was time to make her escape. Summoning the arma gigis, she forced it to grow to it's full size of 20 feet, which broke the cage she was being held in. Siniy turned his attention to the white suit of armor, and recognized who had created it. "Weiss?!" He shouted, ignoring everything else, as gunshots and arrows bounced off of his aura. Kicking over a tent, Siniy found his Morning Angel, and coming to a knee, scooped her up into a hug. "I was so worried about you… Have they done anything to you?" he asked, shifting to Cyrillic mid sentence.

"No, I'm fine darling… But…" Weiss gestured to the chaos around them. As it appeared Yang and Halcyone were there too, taking on a small horde of bandits.

"Shall we help them?" Siniy asked, setting his beloved down.

"We shall." Weiss said with a smirk, as she charged forward with the suit of armor behind her.

The two couples spent about ten seconds before Siniy, axe raised, was struck by a bolt of lightning. The titan fell, dazed and confused. The surge of heat generated by the plasma was absorbed by his semblance, but the electricity itself acted much like a taser, and shocked his nervous system into locking up for a second. "Enough!" Someone shouted from near Raven's position in front of the tent. Everyone turned their attention to the short brunette woman, Vernal, while Siniy groaned as he pushed himself off the ground.

"What hit me?" He asked, sitting up.

Weiss muttered her response. "A lightning bolt."

Siniy raised an eyebrow at her. "Seriously?"

"If you all don't calm down this place is going to be crawling with grimm…" Raven said, before narrowing her eyes at the team in front of her. "You four… In my tent. If you're going after your sister, there are some things you'll need to know… And Vernal, give the Schnee her weapon back." Raven said, before going inside, the rest of the bandit's returning to whatever business they were going about before they were distracted. Vernal threw the rapier in her hands into the dirt by Weiss's feet, earning a glare from the girl.

Yang and Halcyone turned to Weiss, only to be tackled into a hug by the ex-heiress. "I missed you guys so much." She said, before Siniy, being the big cuddly bear he was, pulled the three girls in for a hug. "Both of us did."

Author's note.

Yeah the roar was Siniy. You guys probably already knew that, but I wanted to drag out the tension a little. So Siniy's little break in and entering of the Schnee manor. Honestly it's on brand for him to take that direct of an approach, he can't sneak in because of how big he is, and asking Jacques to be less of a dick isn't going to work. The armor used was based on the sentry kit from BF1 in case anyone's wondering. Siniy's such a big and strong dude that wearing almost 300 pounds of metal (bigger guy bigger plates, more weight) to make himself literally bulletproof in addition to his huge amount of aura, isn't that big a deal until he's got to lug it around for days on end. One raid was all he needed it for, and we probably won't see it ever again.
